Corrupt Eternal Fafnir

Action: Taking stock, grouping up with his team, suggesting they start looking for the bugs in pairs in the main room

There were a fair number of people at this little party of Almadel's... Upwards of nearly a hundred, if Fafnir was counting right. They came from all factions... Senshi both white and black, Knights, Officers, the Dark Mirror, cats and aliens of all sorts of flavors. It might have been overwhelming, if he hadn't been used to crowds. Thankfully, once Almadel swept them all to his museum with a grand gesture, there were lots of little rooms for people to separate off in to, reducing the crush in this... storage? room.

It was surprising how few he seemed to know here, even with so many of Faustite's team gathered. The General King Jet he knew by his listing in the database and participation in Faustite's endeavors, the sassy blonde Aquamarine that was always by his side. Various and sundry Generals and Captains he'd never been introduced to, though he felt confident he could put a name to a good many of the faces from the rosters. A small surprise in the form of a familiar senshi, though his dress had white now, rather than black.

Blue eyes narrowed at Murikabishi but Fafnir's expression stayed pleasant, a little half smile curling the corner of his lips. Interesting. Did Faustite know? Was he still considered 'off-limits'? Though, in truth if he disappeared and no one knew where he'd gone... did it really count? Thoughts to entertain himself with as he swept his gaze onwards, making tallies and committing faces to memory for later consideration. The Vanguard and the Dark Mirror he dismissed as unimportant, currently, and focused instead on the order members of the assembly as he left Almadel's side to glide towards his team, coming up beside his brother in a whisper of fabric and sweeping hair.

He had a moment to catch a red-headed lieutenant staring at him before she turned to watch something else and his eyebrow rose, giving her a quick once over.

Of his own team, he could see Borax, Helio, Tama, Hestia and, of course... Albite. All wild and ready to get to it.

"I had a similar thought." He added when his brother suggested staying together, nodding a greeting to each of the others. "I'm sure there are enough bugs to squash for all of us right here."

Fafnir's eyes slid to Albite and the slight, unknown blonde who'd showed up beside him, seemingly taking notes.

"You said you wanted to see me fight, so I suppose you'll get your chance now." He commented to Albite as he studied the new senshi a moment before flicking his eyes to the bombastic man beside him. "Shall we get started? Stay in pairs as we spread out, if possible, but stay within ear shot. We'll be able to support each other that way."

General Benitoite
Action: With Kafka and dragging him over to General Witherite. Weapon out and ready - bring it.

The trip up to space was disorienting at first, enough that he stumbled, grasping at Kafka to steady himself he stood there takign his time to look around them. It would, in his opinion, be best to get an idea of what was around them. "Take a look around us, we're going to need to know whats around us...where they can hide and attack from." His voice was low, his eyes darting about taking in what was around them as quickly as he could. Those around them, order and chaos alike, were ignored for now. This was not the time to think about them. This was territory that was alien to them and they needed to figure out the layout of this place. The idea of a date, and the light teasing of Kafka was ignored for now. this was not the time for such conversation. This was where he thrived and did his best. "While you may like me taking care of you, Kafka, I'd rather you not become food for the bugs here."

He almost didn't notice, even while trying to note where objects were and how study some looked, as his eyes passed over Witherite but he did spot him. Without thought he tugged Kafka alogn with him in that direction. "We need more strength in a concentrated area." And he could trust Witherite in a fight - he knew it. The other was a part of his team.

"Did he just...leave us." He whispered, though it sounded like it might even warrent being called a growl of sorts. "Of course, the alien leaves." Shaking his head he tried to squint his eyes, hoping to see more in the dim lighting. This was no good - it was too dark in here to see properly. The only good thing, in his opinion, was this wasn't spiders they'd be dealing with. Kosopods at least resembled a bug he knew and they knew the weakspots, if the alien was to be believed. He assumed he could trust this aliens information, seeing as they gained nothing if the extermination failed. Pulling his weapon he stood ready to deal with whatever came.

"I think we're going to have to rely on hearing these things...and take into account any echo this room has..." He whispered, looking to Witherite and Kafka. "This isn't some small infestation like he wants us to believe..." Far from it if you asked him. The petite general was certain there were far more bugs than the alien let on, and than apparently the numbers had grown since their gracious host had left them all here in order to wander off to who knows where. "At least he told us to do whatever we have to...." Though he knew, without even asking or looking to Kafka, that his partner would not be pleased if he went about destroying things or went for the burn it all to the ground approach. His partner, more than anyone else in this room he figured, could relate to Almadel because both dealt in antiques and such.

Deep Space Eternal Selinur
Action: Looking over what Almadel has been collecting, listening to the bugs...can feel some of the magic in the place.

Oh how the alien tempted him and teased him with information, and a tour, he'd see to holding Almadel to his word - once they saved this place. The place in question was large, massive actually, but just how big he didn't know...but he wanted to know. He was certain he'd get a tour, and get a proper idea of the size of this place, the museume was large and the dim lighting didn't bother him as much as it may others, he could handle the dim lighting, as he glanced about. Clearly this was not a room set up for displaying and showing thigns to others...this was a storage room of some sort. Where he put things he wasn't showing at the moment or perhaps the items here were ones he brought to Earth to offer in trades? Either way this was a backroom where he kept other things, things he wasn't showing for one reason or another, but he was certain Almadel kept very precious records of what he had herre and woe to anyone who might try and take something without permission.

A smile curled his lips as the blond could ear little feet moving across the floor, the bugs were on the move and there was no small amount of them. They were here and they were curious about the large group that had just entered their territory. The magic in the hair hummed and he closed his eyes for a moment, letting himself just feel and hear. There were a lot more kosopods than the other had suggested - far too many. This was going to be a hell of a fight and Selinur was going to enjoy this, it was just a shame he didn't have a weapon avalible to use as well as his magic.

Finally opening his eyes the blond moved closer to some of the items, fingers reaching out to touch here and there, looking for anything he reconized. Who knows if anything from his own planet had found itself here. He did hope not though.

Dark Mirror Eternal Melpomene
Action: Keeping close to General Chalcanthite, prepairing for the kosopods.

The arrival in space was jarring to say the least, sent him stumbling and nearly toppling as he clung to Chalcanthite before glancing about. He wasn't the only dark mirror here, which was good he supposed, he didn't feel alone but he would have to keep an eye on them and he knew it. If he didn't, and something happened, Acubens would have words with him without a doubt. "I don't like this...the darkness isn't going to help us any." He whispered, keepign his voice low, if need be he could use any mirrors and reflective surfaces to help himself move around but where were they? Lookign around, already seeking out any mirrors in the palce, Melpomene was listening to their host while he took in everything.

"He's leaving us here.....to fend for ourselves..." He whispered, a hand reaching out to clutch at his fiances hand, they were in this together. "Draw withever weapon you want...I'll have your back." He had his magic to back up whatever his partner would do, he'd keep his back safe. He didn't like this, didn't like hearing the bugs scuttling about, they were being closed in on and he could feel it. "Do you see any mirrors?" He whispered, wanting to see which escape routes he might have avalible, or ways he could reposistion himself and Chalcanthite potentially. Looking around he was ready to stay here, in this main room, and handle the issue as he readied himself.

Eternal Corrupt Miyamoto.
Action: Taking stock of things, not liking space, getting close to someone else who is chaos. Bringing the frost with him.

Hanging towards the back of the crowd, not wanting to draw attention to himself, the eternal corrupt had listened to what was going on and for a moment he had considered returning home and calling it a night. Or better yet going off on a patrol and gathering energy, maybe hunt down a senshi or a knight even, but their Queen wanted officers up there in space to observe what they could and learn whatever could be gleaned from this place. If it wasn't for it being a mission hhe very well would have found other ways to spend his night, he didn't care for space, but here he was stuck watching an alien walk off and leave them to deal with his problem!

Baring his fangs in anger the corrupt senshi let his magic out as frost covered the ground around his feet, and under his hair where it touched the floor, he was not pleased with this. This alien was leaving them with equally alien bugs that wanted to eat their collection of antiques and yet they were leaving...as if they just expected the job to get done. Clenching his fists at his side he took a breath, than another, and calmed himself as he made his way closer to the group. It would be best if they stuck together, at least for the moment, seperate they would be easier for these bugs to potentially pick off. He did take the time to look around, see who he knew, and was dismayed to not see his own General in the mix...no Wolframite. There were others he knew though and he did drift closer to them but he didn't look to engage with anyone. Thigns were changing and it was too dark to see much in this place - they were coming. The kosopods were coming and letting out a breath of chilly air the corrupt hoped they'd be enough.

He really didn't like space....and he hoped to never come back after this.

Corporal Naeria
Action: Looking around the room and suggesting using crates to hold the kosopods for transport.
Roll:

Slowly, Naeria managed to choke down her disgust at the situation as Almadel continued to talk, and as the rest of the Vanguard began to work together to decide the best way to try to save them.

At least, as many of them as possible. Naeria couldn't help but wince as she saw some of the humans and their friends head towards the side rooms, knowing that they were not likely to be gentle with these creatures.

She looked away, and did a breathing technique. Five seconds in, five seconds out. She could not allow her emotions to stop her from being as effective as possible.

She listened to the others. Vyn and Aliez thought that they might be able to transport the kosopods out of the museum. Lysanna seemed to support the suggestions, but advised caution. Andreyia suggested using their source stones on the creatures.

"If we are able to subdue and contain them, then we could ask for this Almadel's help in transporting them to a planet where they will do no harm," she told the group, in her faltering, hesitant way. "Or it could buy us some time to find them a place on Earth where they would be beneficial."

She glanced around the room, looking for anything that might be useful. However, something basic caught her eye immediately. "There are many crates here," she said. "We could use those to hold them while we transport them or find them a place to go."

She was sure they could eat through them eventually, but if they acted quickly, it could be successful.

Targovishte, Squire of Jupiter
Action: Relief at seeing Belmont, introducing herself to Belmont's pretty friend, worrying about the bugs.
Roll:

Targovishte didn’t normally…participate in…busy things, though she figured she ought to start. There were so many things that she wanted to start to do and…maybe it was time to actually start doing them. So when the opportunity to help clear out an infestation came up…she decided to go. Against…her better judgment? That was to be determined, she supposed.

When she arrived up in the…museum? This was a museum? It was…well. It sure…was. Looking around, she wanted…hoped to find someone that she at least…sort of knew to stick with, and her eyes lit up when they landed on Belmont. He was standing with a very pretty girl with long hair and a bright costume, and Targovishte made her way over. “Belmont! Hey! You’re here for extermination duty too?”

Looking at the pretty girl, The Squire flashed a smile. “It’s good to meet you…I’m Targovishte! I…wish I would have known to bring bug spray!” Though…bug spray might not be enough for how big these creatures were reported to be…ah…how big they sounded.

“Anyone have any magic that makes light…? I don’t…I mean. Bugs are bad enough, but bugs in the dark is just…cruel?”

Thank goodness her shoes were sturdy, now.

DMS Irenaea - Senshi of Widow Spiders
Action: Noticing Asuka. Replying to Hela and itching to investigate

"Well, congrats on your advancement in the ranks. I'm happy for you Hela," and she was.

As the rest of Hela's explanation about why people were gathering her nose wrinkled. More acidic bugs? Irenaea remembered the ones from last year with a shudder before she sighed. Could it be more interesting than sitting at home trolling the forums? More than likely. Perhaps she would tag along. Her gaze took in those that were still gathering around the hilltop before she actually felt more Dark Mirror signatures and upon second look, a latecomer to the gathering had Irenaea trying to wave down Asuka's attention before everything seemed to shift around them. Her gaze caught sight of stars that seemed to twist around them before everything settled into the scene of an opulent room decked out in various displays. The impressive chandelier that lit the entire room would have cost a fortune and for a moment the young woman's eyes narrowed into thought before she turned the attention Almadel, who she could now see clearly.

Just as soon as she wanted to step forward Almadel explained that things looked a lot worse than he had assumed before he disappeared down a side hall in order to check on the Electronics. The room had dimmed considerably since the group's arrival and Irenaea sighed before stepping closer to Hela.

"Doesn't this plot seem a little cliche: the kind alien requesting help to clear up a little problem only to disappear once all his guests are in place for an ambush?"

Irenaea didn't like the idea that Almadel had left everyone to go check on something because it didn't sound like the charming Merchant she'd met last year when she came to haggle with him.

The idea though of being in a room with various displays of wealth and treasure had Irenaea's fingers itching to explore, not for these kosopods, but to see what fantastic finds lay within the giant hall.

Commander Aliez
Action: Moving to side room here.

Aliez wasn’t sure what he was expecting when they were all transported to the museum that the man Almadel said belonged to him. Even though it looked like a large storage room, it was clear that there were years and years of items that had been collected and preserved.

And they seemed to have attracted the attention of the Kosopods.

Aliez grimaced as he looked around. There were a lot of people there. A lot of people he didn’t know if they could trust. It was dangerous to be around them, especially when the Commodore had made it clear that they were under the protection of the Negaverse while they were on Earth.

He hated it. He didn’t want to be involved with people who didn’t seem to have any care for protecting life. But he also didn’t want to side with those Senshi and Knights who seemed so willing to fight but in the end still did nothing to help them.

Andreiya had already sent them all a message about their plans. To get in contact with the Commodore before any final decision, but their goal was to save as many as they could.

He nodded to Vyn to let him know he agreed with him. Anyone who needed help or medical attention, he was more than happy to assist.

But for now, they needed to figure out where to start. Hopefully one of the rooms no one bothered with had some Kosopods that wouldn’t attack them.

Eternal Sailor Cybele
Action: Using extreme willpower to not start a fight.
Roll: 80

Of course next to Jet there was Aquamarine. Cybele, vaguely wary before, stiffened at his piercing gaze, and the direct taunt he threw in her direction. He was jabbing at Sessrumnir, too, and Alastor with him, and although hadn't made out what he said to them, it didn't sound kind.

She curled her hands into fists, so tightly that the fingernails dug into the skin. She bucked half a step forwards, chest out, teeth bared, eyes blazing. She took a sharp breath in-

And then slowly, she let it go.

One day, she was going to rip his throat out. Or, better yet, she'd rip Jet's throat out for what he'd done to Ganymede and she'd watch for the look on Aquamarine's face when it was someone important to him laid out dying on the pavement.

It wasn't the time, though. She heard Danube coming up behind her. That meant that there were two Cybele pages with her right now, two vulnerable people who were just coming into their power. They were people who's connection to her might make them targets to someone like those two. Steins was here, too, bright eyes, and kind, and one of her best friends, but not much of a warrior. They were people who had come here to squish bugs, not fight to the death against a General-King.

If she ended up blinded by rage, it would only take one wrong step for it to be a blade through their ribs, a hand through their chests. She knew that too well.

So she smiled, instead, too-sweet, practiced. She said, to Aquamarine, "Frankly, it's none of your business."

To those around her, she said, more quietly, "All right. So we need to destroy the hive. Do you see anything we can use to reach it a bit better, or whack at it?" She glanced around the room herself, although every few seconds she looked between her friends and the agents, not trusting the situation.

"I know these are priceless treasures, but Almadel seems to have plenty. I'm not too worried about things getting a bit broken."

Lowering her voice even farther, she added, "And please keep me distracted enough that I do not try to snap the necks of those Generals." She trusted them to help her on this one.

Super Sailor Surtur of Desolation
Roll: 15
Action: Greeting Rainier. Keeping an eye on where Almadel might have wandered off to, to make sure he stays safe.

If Surtur was being honest, he was relieved that Almadel removed himself from the room. The situation with the Kosopods would likely only get worse once their hive was disturbed, and with so many aligned with Chaos there, he couldn’t imagine a fight not breaking out. Hopefully they would be able to keep their hands to themselves, and to the Kosopods.

Thankfully, there were some he knew he could trust there. Including--

“Rainier!” he cheered as he approached her through the flickering dim of the storage room, but not before keeping an eye on where Almadel slunk off to.

Good. He would have to make sure no one bothered Almadel. He might have half joked about being his bodyguard, but in situations like this, he was determined not to let those he cared about get hurt. And while he and Almadel weren’t close, they did have a lot in common and Surtur certainly was never bored being around him.

Just like his Mercury friend.

“How fare thee? Look at these glorious specimens of art and biology! This is truly an exhibit for the ages, and such an honor to witness and even more so to try and salvage against the fell creatures that threaten such history!”

Super Sailor Steins

Action: processing Cybele's reaction, greeting Danube, and distracting Cybele from non-bug murder.

Steins watched Cybele's reaction to the Negaverse General with concern, ready to calm her friend and talk her out of any rash action if need be. Luckily, with the addition of another page, Danube, who Steins flashed a bright smile at briefly, it seemed they had accumulated enough Accountability Buddies to quell the fight before it could begin. Which was good, because Steins really wasn't sure what she would have said or done to stop Cybele anyway.

'Exterminate bugs first - not each other,' maybe? Granted, that implied that later they could exterminate each other, which Steins really didn't want to see happen either.

But yes - the bugs....

"Hmmm, I deal with a lot of bugs in the greenhouse, but these definitely don't seem like any I'd like around, and I didn't think to bring any pesticide...."

She did keep mosquito spray in her little subspace pocket out of night time patrol necessity, but she really didn't think that was going to do much against...these.

Hierapolis, Page of Cybele

Action: greeting Danube and processing the scene.

Hierapolis' attention was taken from whatever was going on between Cybele and someone else, to the page sporting the same symbol and similar colors as his own. As tall as he was, it didn't surprise him that he might be some beacon to other Cybele knights. it didn't help his self-consciousness any, or his anxiety. Still, for as awkward as he felt in this entire situation, he was polite.

"Hierapolis," he introduced himself, "Nice to meet you too."

It was not too long after that they were transported, and got their little introduction to the bugs. While Hierapolis found himself immensely interested in the artifacts here - fantasy novel-loving lore-whore that he was - he knew there wouldn't be anything to be interested in if they didn't irradiate the infestation immediately.

"My normal reaction to larger-than-necessary bugs would be 'kill it with fire' however I don't think our host would appreciate that approach. Perhaps if a bunch could be rounded up and magic-ed to death...."

Maybe 'kill them with fire' was still an option if there was a fire-safe spot they could round a group of them up in.

Hy-Brasil, Transcended Knight of Earth
ACTION: Moving to a side room HERE

The trip to the location wasn’t terrible. It felt a bit uncomfortable for the suddenness of it but that was it. No, she wasn’t thrilled with the very obvious signs in front of them that the swarm of Kosopds were much more than ‘a few dozen’. Add that to the checkbox of reasons to not trust this Almadel person. Though…in fairness, he had seemed a bit shocked himself at the plethora of creatures.

The large abundance of people though made it…uncomfortable. Too many in such close quarters was not the best of circumstances, and with the Chaos aligned here, Hy wouldn’t be surprised if they perhaps let something ‘slip’ and ‘accidentally’ injured someone of the opposing faction. Honestly….Hy would be lying to herself if she wouldn’t have taken advantage of such a thing if her magic was inclined towards harm.

Thankfully though, it seemed the Bells were moving to another section themselves. Slipping off to another room was probably in their best intentions. It also meant they could better watch out for each other. So, the Knight followed the group into a side room.

The senshi was quite fascinated with the museum and it was quite hard for her to stay on task when there was so much to see!

Magnus, Corrupt Mauvian
ACTION: Joining the group and playing leap shoulder as he looks around the room.

He gave no warning. Not a single meow, hello or how are you before he launched himself up onto the shoulders of the dark-haired senshi, Hestia. Magnus dug claws in just enough to keep himself from loosing balance and falling off as he spanned the petite woman's shoulders.

"You would think people were blind as bats in this dim lighting." He purred out. "Nearly got stepped on several times trying to make my way over to you all." He didn't seem upset about his possible near death experiences. More he was making casual conversation than anything else.

His eyes flitted to the creatures that everyone seemed most interested in. The alien Almadel had mentioned they were a pest in need of being taken care of and Magnus has to agree. Typically bugs weren't good.

But that wasn't what interested the feline anymore. Nope. This entire place was a treasure trove that he couldn't wait to dive into! Think of all lovely shinies and treasures he could find here!

His eyes flicked back to the group. He was obviously the least bothered by the lighting situation. "Staying together in groups is likely the best." He said in agreement to Fafnir and Helio this as he launched himself from Hestia's shoulders to Borax's. His was a bit more comfortable to balance on and Magnus took full advantage of the man's broader span. His tail flicked lazily back and forth and if the fluffy appendage happened to hit Borax in the face, Magnus was unaware. No he was more interested in scanning the room for anything of interest. Well...more interesting than those bugs that looked like they could possibly eat him for dinner.

"But standing around isn't going to get you anywhere. Not if you actually -want- to get anything done and find something interesting. This place has a lot here and who knows what those bugs might actually do to something here that might have some power to it."
