[Danube, Page of Cybele]
HP: 35-10 = 25/50
Physical Damage: 1d8 + 7 (thanks Cybele!)
Action: attacking 1 Chrysocyon
Damage: 10
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 17/50

The crown was cool. The wings were even cooler. The whole firing-a-bow thing? It was sparkly garnish on top, and Danube took a moment to admire it before realising the feeling of invigoration coursing through her body. The hint was received loud and clear, and Danube whirled to swing on the nearest monster to them. It fell immediately, and Danube hummed with the triumph that followed. She liked this person with the crown and wings and bow.

"Hey, thanks!" She gave her a thumbs-up and broad grin, though Danube was careful to make sure that she didn't keep her attention off of the monsters for too long.

[Tikal, Squire of Ganymede]
HP: 60-10 = 50/75
Physical Damage: 1d10
Indirect Magic: 10 + 2d4 damage
”Magic Description”
Her magic at this stage is limited to a sparkling light display that, for her target, amplifies their strongest desire. This could be a desire to run away, a desire to take a nap, a desire for scones, or… a desire to hurt Tikal. Her magic pool lasts for thirty seconds.

Action: attacking a mini monster with her magic
Damage: 16
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 16/50

Tikal had already had quite enough of this by the time the little Chrysocyons showed up thanks to the roar the big one had given. Focusing inward, she flung her hands out to a shower of lights against one of the monsters closest to her. It paced and growled, its hackles going up, and she braced herself for what she knew was coming. Her gamble was that the monster wouldn't get that far.

And as it leapt at her, it, too, exploded in a shower of sparkles.

[Stromboli, Page of Uranus]
HP: 35-10 = 25/50
Physical Damage: 1d8
Action: attacking one of the small Chrysocyons
Damage: 2
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 16/50, 1 Chrysocyon with 8 HP left

"You know," Stromboli began as he braced himself against the Chrysocyon, his skin still vibrating painfully with the roar from earlier. But he didn't get to finish as Ibirapita and Abzu began to squabble over a bottle of alcohol Ibirapita had conjured from out of nowhere. But at least it ended up with the alcohol being used to cause damage to the monster they were facing. He didn't get to say much else, either, as the small Chrysocyons appeared from every nook and cranny imaginable.

Swearing under his breath, Stromboli swung on one with his food turner. Of course there were little ones. Of course there were! Worse yet, his food turner did not do nearly as much damage as he had hoped. It rather just seemed to piss off the one he was facing. He jumped back in a hurry, but wasn't quick enough to keep its claws from opening up furrows in his shirt.

His swearing was not under his breath that time. He put his hand against his chest and pulled it away bloody. Well, at least all of his insides were still on the inside. He would take wins where he could get them.

"Be careful!" He called to the other two, aware of the irony.

[Amoris, Page of the Moon]
HP: 35-10 = 25/50
Physical Damage: 1d8
Action: attac
Damage: 5
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 16/50, 1 Chrysocyon with 8 HP left by Stromboli, 1 Chrysocyon with 5 HP left by Amoris

Amoris put his back to Promethei as the smaller monsters came out to give them trouble. "Okay, let's try to make it out of this with as few nibbles as possible." He didn't like the way their teeth and claws looked, and he was feeling extremely vulnerable and fleshy. But that sentiment was evidently not shared by the Chrysocyons circling around. One of them leapt toward Amoris and Amoris instinctively lashed out with his astrolabe.

A reverberating metallic noise was the result, and it seemed to stun the monster at first, but it didn't stop the teeth and claws from closing around Amoris' forearm.

Transcended Eternal Encke of Plasma
HP: 85/100
Action: c'mon encke, pull yourself together--

It was instinct that drew Encke to swallow around what had been shoved into his mouth. It was an impulse he fought to not bite the finger that had fed it to him.

Even as the immediate trigger had faded away, it didn't quite pull his mind out of its fog. He looked around and saw his allies as much as-- Encke swallowed around it, swallowed around himself and his thoughts and everything else around it. Everything else except, except, except-- He clenched and unclenched his hands, nails biting into his palms as he tried to wrench his mind back to its stable point. Ran hadn't seen him like this. Was Ran looking at him?

Encke couldn't tell. He hoped he wasn't.

He quickly surveyed the scene, taking in his husband nearby.

Basiluzzo had been right to pull his hand back so quickly.

He had been--

Encke gasped, biting down on his lip instead of Basiluzzo's finger as he tried to pull himself out of the muck of his mind. There were ... more? A lot more. More wolf creatures. The allies around him were doing the work of rapidly returning them to the ground from which they came. Good. Encke was relieved for that. If the wolf creatures were the route of the thoughts in his mind, the less of them, the better. Were they, or was it just him?

How long had it been? How short? He knew lorazepam was a fast-acting medicine. Why did he feel like he was two steps away from--

Basiluzzo had been right to--

Encke tried desperately to claw himself into doing something more than just standing there. He succeeded in grasping his hair in clumps.

A normal, stable, absolutely-passing-as-usual reaction for his mentee to witness.

[Basiluzzo, Transcended Knight of Uranus]
HP: 85 - 10 = 75/100
Physical Damage: 1d12
Buff Magic: 4d4
Action: defending Encke by attacking a nearby Chrysocyon
Damage: 11
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 15/50, 1 Chrysocyon with 8 HP left by Stromboli, 1 Chrysocyon with 5 HP left by Amoris

A big one gave way to little ones, and Basiluzzo made sure to keep Encke close at his back as he brought his staff up to bear. "Beloved," he called back to him, "are you yourself again?" Basiluzzo knew the lorazepam did not work instantly, as quickly as it could take effect, but it couldn't hurt to gauge where Encke was at once he saw him start to move--even if it was to pull at his own hair. It was better than standing there in catatonia, believe it or not.

Either way, they didn't have time for Basiluzzo to do a ten-point evaluation of Encke's condition. He was breathing, he had taken the medication, he would be okay in time. Basiluzzo just had to give him that time. One of the smaller monsters came too close to them and Basiluzzo acted immediately.

With a shout, he brought his staff around and cracked it down onto the small chrysocyon as hard as he could. He was gratified to see it crumple immediately as he took a step back toward Encke again. That left the matter of Ran. Basiluzzo looked around for him, knowing that he was a basic and knowing that he couldn't just abandon him to figuring this out himself.

Well, he could, but it wasn't the most advisable thing to do--

[Sailor Ran of Games]
HP: 35 - 10 (x3) = 05/50
Physical Damage: 1d8
Indirect Magic: 10 + 1d4 damage
”Magic Description”
Ran summons a card and flicks it toward the target. When the card comes to rest, a shallow pit ten feet in diameter opens up around that point. The pit is no more than 3 feet deep, but is slick and difficult to simply run out of. The pit lasts for about 30 seconds and can be used three times.

Action: attacking some Chrysocyons with another use of magic
Damage: 12
Chrysocyons Attacked: 3
Chrysocyons Remaining: 12/50, 1 Chrysocyon with 8 HP left by Stromboli, 1 Chrysocyon with 5 HP left by Amoris

Ran would have liked to think he was doing just fine, thankyouverymuch. At least, all things considered. He saw three of the beasts clustered together, saw them notice him, saw them run at him, and acted quickly, throwing out a second card toward their feet. They tripped, slipped, and fell, but not before trying to save themselves by dragging Ran into the shallow pit with them. Ran avoided it, but not without gashes and cuts to his arms and hands from trying to fend them off.

Then two of them latched onto him in their death throes, one on each leg, and dragged him to the ground.

Ran would have liked to think he was doing just fine, thankyouverymuch. At least, until that happened. He shouted and kicked, determined to free himself, but even as they died, they took their payback with them. By the time Ran managed to drag himself back from the pit as it disappeared, he was bloody and gasping for breath. He couldn't manage to stand, and the world was starting to swim--

Promethei, Squire of Mercury
HP: 50/75
Action: Finished off Amoris' Chrysocyon!
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 11/50, 1 Chrysocyon with 8 HP left by Stromboli

"Definitely my preference," muttered Promethei. "Not into these kinda nibbles."

It was Promethei. Of course, he had to slip a joke in there, somehow. He glanced upward to try and get a look around Amoris' shoulder before he smacked the chrysocyon, and he swung into action when he saw said chrysocyon didn't take well to being smacked. He pulled himself out from behind Amoris' back to wallop the thing, relieved when it let go of Amoris' arm and also let go in general.

He let out a sigh of relief.

But now for the other issue. Promethei pressed himself back to Amoris' back to keep a tighter eye on their surroundings but was still looking down at the bitten arm. "Babe, you alright?"

Abzu, Squire of Neptune
and
Sailor Ibirapitá, Senshi of Shade
Abzu HP: 50/75
Abzu Action: Attempting to take out the Chrysocyon on Stromboli
Ibirapitá HP: 25/50
Ibirapitá Action: Was trying to take out Abzu, swung on the Chrysocyon instead
Chrysocyons Attacked: 1
Chrysocyons Remaining: 11/50, 1 Chrysocyon with 3 HP left by Stromboli & Abzu & Ibirapitá

Abzu was, of course, happy to banter with Stromboli. Very happy! But considering their banter was cut off by Ibirapitá deciding that it was time to drink, on top of these little tiny wolves showing up--

s**t.

One struck on Stromboli, and his food turner did some damage, but not enough, and Abzu no longer had a convenient bottle of alcohol to toss at it. Of course, he didn't want to swing on a wolf with his saxophone, and honestly he barely wanted to swing at all but these were literal monsters infested with chaos on someone's homeworld. Uh-- he plucked up some spare debris off the ground and attempted to chuck it at the miniature angry zombie monster wolf.

It succeeded, kinda.

It mostly succeeded in getting its attention, and Abzu looked to scramble.

He didn't account for Ibirapitá, his alien friend, being frustrated that Abzu had gotten rid of his questionable food source. Had the source of the hunger disappeared? For now. Did it change anything about the craving he desperately had and the only way he knew how to fulfil it? Not really, not enough, and he was mad.

Would it have been better to turn that anger toward the monsters? Sure. Did he? No.

Abzu jumped when he saw a fist flying toward his face at the same time as the wolf was approaching him, and in a moment of quick thought, he ducked. Ibirapitá's fist made contact with the chrysocyon's face.

Was it enough to take it out?

No.

Was it enough to make Ibirapitá glance down at Abzu and consider the merits of kicking him?

Yes-- "Ibirapitá!" Abzu shouted up at Ibirapitá, moving away from both him and Stromboli to put some distance between them and also to keep the danger away from his friend. "Calm down! We have food back at the inn!"

Irkalla, Squire of Cosmos

HP: 60/75 - 20 = 40/75

She didn't know what was going on. First was the giant zombie dog. Now there seemed to be miniature copies of the damn thing. Irkalla noted the field of battle before wincing. She really really did not like the idea of attacking dogs, even zombie ones but it was obvious that if this force was not defeated that the senshi of this world would lose to chaos. She wouldn't allow that to happen. Wading into a group of fighters did Irkalla hear what sounded like a wolf's howl and suddenly she felt as if everything would turn out alright.

Spinning her cord of ornaments around freakishly fast did the squire of Cosmos deal a few hefty blows to the mini zombie dogs. Two of them seemed to crumple under her onslaught and even as they did so did the squire press forward. Onwards and upwards and all that jazz. Her gaze locked on the figures that she had helped before taking up position nearby. Wherever her chips fell, she was all in now.

Damage: 6 + 7 (from Skoll buff) = 13
Chrysocyons Attacked: 2.

Terebellum, Senshi of Resonance
HP: 5 / 50
Basic Magic (1/3 uses)
Indirect Damage:10 + 2 = 12
Terebellum Action: Making good use of her AOE like magic, getting a little mauled in response

The hunger pangs faded away slowly and she winced as the chrysocyon roared again. It rang through her horns and ears, but her attention was taken by the horde of smaller chrysocyons that charged forward.

Alright, if her magic was going to behave, she could absolutely handle groups of these herself. Terebellum's magic was more built for this sort of thing anyway. She'd have to get some of their attention first, but that was a risk she'd have to take.

The senshi shifted to the right, putting some space between her and others. No sense in getting anyone else stuck in the area of resonance.

"Hey! Over here!" she shouted, waving her tail as a lure at the group. Three of the beasts broke off, snarling and drooling as they looked at her. "Oh no! I've fallen and can't get up!" She made a show of dramatically falling to the ground, making sure to press both of her hands in front of her.

"Resonance Amplification!" she called as they closed on her. Teeth sank into her arms and horns and tail and she cried out in pain as the magic surged into the ground in front her. The chrysocyons slashed and bit her relentlessly, even as the vibrating ground drew them in and started working against them.

By the time they fell defeated, Terebellum looked more like a piece of raw lamb than a senshi.

"...Worth... it... ow..."

Skoll, Super Senshi of the Pack
HP: 50 / 75
Basic (3/3 uses): 2d4
Super (1/2 uses): 3d4
Physical Damage: 7 (self buff) + 10 = 17
Skoll Action: FALCON.... PUUUUUNNNCCCHHH

The hunger waned and she bared her teeth against the second roar. A giant pack of the creatures surged forward instead. Gold eyes glanced right and left as many took them out in groups of two and three. Skoll didn't have any magic to fight groups; she relied more on allies than her own strength when fighting groups. That was the whole point of her sphere, after all.

That said, didn't mean she was useless outside of buffing her allies.

A chrysocyon split from the now very small group and charged her in a frantic attack. She swung her outside leg back, blading her body as the beast lunged, missing her by inches. At the same time, she chambered her opposite arm, fingers locked into a fist. A snarl left her throat as she threw the punch forward, putting her whole body into the motion.

Pain shot through her hand and arm as it went through the beast and out the other side. She retracted her fist, grunting as it caught on something inside the thing before she could survey the damage. A giant gash from knuckles to her elbow bled profusely.

"Well s**t..." she grunted. That wasn't exactly how she'd expected it to 'bite' back...

Transcended Princess Ida
HP: 110 - 30 = 80
Action: Attacking three mini enemies with her super attack, Helping Terebellum up

Damage: 11 + 10 = 21
Chrysocyons Attacked: 3
Chrysocyons Remaining: 3/50
Injured Chrysocyons: vs Ida - 9/10 hp

They came from everywhere, the little ones... slinking out of the darkness with their fangs bared. So many... But there were many allies of Fang here too.

Those allies tore into the horde, decimating their numbers within moments. Ida watched on after another, sometimes two at a time, fall to magic and blows from those around her. Fang led the charge, finally finding the strength in himself to resist the monster's terrible magic. She felt a flare of pride for him, for how far he'd come. They could do this.

Unfortunately, as fast as they took down the little monsters, those same monsters were taking their toll. So many hurt and bleeding... Ida roused herself as three jumped at her, clamping down on the arm she threw up to protect herself and grabbing at her ankle. She made a sharp noise of pain as she beat them off and freed herself, lines of red weaving through the glow on her skin.

"Beautiful Petal Barrage!" She gasped out as she threw her arm out before her, calling up an arc of more glowing petals. This time, though, she did not take up her bow. Instead, those petals spun in the air and then snapped into orientation, harding into sharp little darts. They sprayed the three that had attacked her, destroying two of as they took the brunt of the magical attack. The third snarled as it backed up, barely touched.

There had to be something more she could do... but in the heat of battle, finding the concentration to use her healing amber would be next to impossible.

The ancient senshi, the one that had approached her... Ida saw her go down under three of the beasts. Fear slammed into Ida as she rushing towards her, just in time to see the three chrysocyon's fall away, destroyed by the girl's magic.

"Are you okay?" She said as she bent down to her, offering a hand. "Stick close... I can try to shield you."

Illyria... was she okay? So many to try to cover... she had to be strong, had to do this.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Beautiful Petal Barrage!
[What it does] A thrown hand casts a cloud of orchid petals, which harden into needle-like darts that fly in the direction the petals were first cast. Downside to this attack is its lack of accuracy with a single opponent, and lack of strength against multiple enemies. Its merely a spray of needle-like petals with some velocity behind them. The petals are damaging enough to leave shallow cuts, but leather or multiple layers of fabric may block them, though not without damage. Range is short, about five or six feet. Can be used twice per battle. Twice will exhaust her and she will have to retire from the fight until she's rested.
