General Rakovanite
He couldn’t really be truly offended. It was enough only to be miffed that Diasporite would run blindly off in the direction of a force much stronger than himself such that he could be attacked by it. But he wasn’t dead or crippled. Injured, maybe, but not so much that he was incapable of standing. He would heal. And the lieutenant’s excitement had been duly tempered such that it didn’t seem necessary to further berate him. He didn’t want to extinguish his enthusiasm. Rakovanite patted his cheek twice before his arm dropped away.
Better for him to learn with his peers and superiors nearby to support him, rather than alone… Rakovanite felt like he’d always been alone when the worst had happened.
His attention went back to the room at large, scanning lazily, but the words were still for Diasporite, “I am still proud of you.” Of Diasporite being there despite the danger, of his eagerness, willingness to fight for a cause new to him. He had gone hunting enemies- to his detriment, but Rakovanite was proud of the dedication. Much preferred to a meek, unwilling coward concerned about hurting people.
Pink eyes flicked to him questioningly, and Rakovanite rolled his shoulders as his own gaze landed on the most vaguely of familiar faces. “It is not my place to question the Queen’s rewards.”
His body tensed, prepared to move as he stared down another man across the room. “There is one other thing I have to do before we leave, and then I will take you home and look you over. Please follow-“
And then another body nailed him from behind, tangling arms around his, and Calaverite peeked around him to- glare? At Diasporite. Had they not had opportunity to meet properly? …Maybe not surprising, since Rakovanite often wanted to forget Calaverite existed and certainly didn’t want to expose any shining new recruits to the senshi’s… issues. And frankly, he didn’t really want to start now.
Rakovanite peeled his arm free of Cala’s grasp, holding his other hand out as a barricade to keep the young senshi from scrabbling at him some more. Be nice, he had to remind himself. Cala was just as eager, just as desperate to please. Rakovanite just preferred his methods less.
“Stay and have a treat,” Rakovanite offered as he turned to Calaverite. He was fairly certain some of the youma were loitering around serving champagne and snacks. “Cervantite will go back with you when you are ready. Okay?” Okay. He didn’t wait for an answer, and instead hooked a hand at Diasporite’s back and moved as briskly as the other boy would allow away, and toward another Lieutenant looking around in confusion.
Rakovanite didn’t know him. Hadn’t known him in the hour prior, when he was sure, sure he’d seen this man wearing white and escorting The Girl who was not here.
He doubted this man had wanted to corrupt. He probably didn’t know- much of anything, really. Not who he’d been with or why or what they’d even been doing there… “Please support me,” he murmured to Diasporite as they approached.
And then made eye contact with the other man. “Is there someone you are looking for?”
-------------- Chaos Mauvian Gremlin
He wasn't excited about the news. Could barely even stand the idea of more human-like things roaming around the city, trying to scavenge their resources for a goal Gremlin had less than zero interest in. To him it seemed like it would've been more rewarding to hear Laurelite tell them to get the ******** off of this planet, but that was probably why no one asked for Gremlin's opinion on anything. Seemed pretty obvious to him that their showing during the fight had proved they weren't allies who could be trusted, but whatever. Not his business. He wasn't going to be interacting with them.
Or anyone here.
A quick glower around told him that his general was making contact with one of the newbies, and Gremlin was sure if he hung around to be spotted, that lieutenant's confusion and worthlessness would somehow become his problem. As tempting as it was to stick around for snacks-
At least, it would've been if they weren't being passed around by youma.
-He decided he'd better make his way on out. Rakovanite could summon him if he absolutely needed him (and Gremlin was sure he'd be rewarded for his efforts), and the crazy witch senshi would occupy Diesel for some time, probably. It was best he just leave back to Mauvian Headquarters and figure out who he dared to stay with for the night from there.
--------------- Lieutenant Janggunite
As youma began to enter the room to deliver medical treatment and disperse drinks and the medals, Janggunite felt a tremor of... something reverberate down the length of his spine. He felt inexplicably good, which he certainly would not have said prior to the battle. He would've said he felt as he always did: dreary, unmotivated, maybe a little irritable. And certainly seeing people die shouldn't have chased that away to any healthy degree.
That probably wasn't what had done it. He would just assume something else. The adrenaline. Queen Laurelite's praise, maybe. Doing something after months of not.
It felt like the first time he didn't just want to be in his room. He didn't know anyone here besides maybe a handful of basic names, but certainly no one he would wander over to and strike up a conversation with on a normal basis. There was probably no reason to change that now, but he did think maybe he would like something bubbly, and maybe an opportunity to go back into the city and ride off this weird high that made him feel breathless and warm and light.
If only there was something physical to make him feel this way.
--------------- Lieutenant Nobleite
Nobleite wouldn't take a dismissal for any more than it was.
Given that he didn't know anyone here and didn't feel especially celebratory from the night's events, he didn't see any reason worth loitering around a bunch of bloodied agents and skulking youma. If he were thinking professionally, of course he should have stayed to make sure no one needed more medical care than a youma could provide- or just someone to talk to.
But he wasn't thinking professionally. Nobleite was just thinking that he must've felt more out of place than anyone here. Even when he gave a precursory glance around, it seemed like most everyone was tucked in a group, with friends.
It would be best for him to leave. No one would miss him if he was gone. It was inconvenient that he couldn't teleport out, as most others could... but maybe next time, at the next big ambush or battle where people were murdered- He slipped out the door. Nobleite was sure his general would be in his office, and he could get a teleport from him, back to the crappy apartment where he'd lived alone since his divorce. He'd probably just cry and go to bed and stay there until he had to get up for work in the morning.
So, you know, felt like a really rewarding and productive night.

Basic Calaverite
Cala's fingers pinched hard into Rakovanite's coat as his teeth flashed and a warbly sound of refusal vibrated out of his throat. Stop trying to pull away from him! He just wanted to be part of what everyone else was doing, and it wasn't fair that his general wouldn't pay him any attention when he'd done good too! What if Cala was hurt or lonely or bored? That mattered. As Rakovanite slipped free from his grasp, the sound transitioned from a whine to a snarl, and Calaverite grappled for the other man's arm to drag him back.
He wondered if it would make Rakovanite mad. He'd never seen his general angry. Frustrated and a little impatient, maybe, but he'd never snapped at Cala before.
Probably because Cala didn't want him to. The senshi definitely had a way of inciting people to anger and violence, but he didn't want Rakovanite to be mad because he'd brought him treats and saved him from drowning and stuff, and if Rakovanite was mad, who would take him to the city? He couldn't risk this person in particular being upset by him... He had to let Rakovanite go. It still wasn't fair now, and Cala shot a hateful glare at the younger agent with his general as they moved away.
His lip jutted out, and he cast a grimace over his shoulder to where Cervantite was mingling with others. Did he want to stay, or did he just want to go ahead and leave? At least Cervantite would go with him, if he wanted to go. And they could find their own snacks and do- Cala didn't know, something more exciting than what Rakovanite was doing.
Yeah.
But he still wasn't happy about it.
He trudged over to the other senshi, hooking his arm aggressively around Cervantite's and abruptly yanking on him to follow. "Rakovanite said you'd take me back to my room. I'm ready to go now." And he didn't want to hear absolutely any argument about it. They were able to nab a few things from the party before beating a hasty retreat, with Cala still feeling like he drew the short end of the stick even after they'd left.

Lieutenant VauxiteA pregnant silence fell between them for a long moment as he regarded the two gentlemen that approached with a measure of skepticism and wariness. The tall, dark, and handsome one who spoke was no doubt in some level of command. Uniform somewhat stained as was everyone else's, his own included, but the lapels, cords hanging from his shoulder, and richly saturated tones gave enough of a hint that this man was not someone to be quip or curt with despite his own irritated mood. Beyond that though was a presence he couldn’t quite understand and instead chalked it up to a sixth sense or intuition. Better to be thought a fool than to remove all doubt. Rather than ask on it, he remained quiet… for now at least. Slate blue eyes glanced over to the youth beside him, pastel-colored hair tied in a tight braid that fell below his waist. His expression was disarming with how comfortable he seemed to be with tagging along in the shadow of the man beside him. Breathing was kept shallow if only to keep the wound in his side and shoulder from flaring up in pain by filling his lungs with too much air. Honestly, he wasn’t sure how the ******** he even got injured, and the only hint of severity was when blood bloomed beneath his fingers when he touched the area. Too many questions swam in his mind but the pair before him was still waiting for an answer. And so, after clearing his throat, he turned his attention back to the taller man and replied “Nobody specifically.” In that regard, it meant that he was here alone, which was probably not the wisest thing to admit. “I was hoping to find someone I might recognize that could explain what’s going on.” Such as why he woke up in some overly crowded place that was borderline cult-like at a glance, in an outfit he did not recognize. Or why there were people handing out medals and who the lady was that had spoken only a few minutes prior.

Lt. DiasporiteDia nearly startled for the creature that suddenly clung to Rak's back, that seemed to snarl and simper all at once, a myriad of expressions that rolled from one into the next. Except creature wasn't appropriate, it took him a moment to realize it was a Senshi, not a Youma, and more importantly? It was his Generals Senshi -- a teammate -- how his wide rose eyes roved the blacker than night feathers and cinched together avian skulls that adorned the other. How he felt the absolute 'weight' of that ones gaze, as if he'd done something wrong? As if -- Cala, was it? Was maybe upset by him, somehow. Surely the pout the prying Senshi sported could've leant him to believe that. Whatever silent communication passed between the two was above him, over his head, because as suddenly as Cala was there - he was gone - gently ushered onwards to meet with Cervantite. The confusing scald of Cala's scorn was smoothed over easily by the balm of Rak's tone, even cadence as ever, like water wearing on a rock. How the man lauded soft praise and begged his support all in one. So he nodded, pulled himself up a little better. Enough to stand sideline and just behind; even if he dreamed of sagging into the soft folds of -- oh - any flat surface. Promised himself a bevy of laters, shored up his own flagging foundation with the bright little spark of 'good' that he'd managed to do. He would keep the shiny medal, they would -- make a new friend -- apparently? How all the words between the Lieutenant on the floor and Rak seemed so blithely conversational; if not for the fact that something in the Lieutenants eyes rang as confused. How the way the man held himself rung sympathy pangs from Dia. "Maybe we can help..." soft little ask, how his smile creased into something thinner when he spotted the bloom of red that flared in splotches on fabric. Red that seeped and seemed to show staining the lieutenants fingers... He very much wanted to help. Shanyume Lieutenant Vauxite Sorry for the long wait!! Indigo_Plateau -kicksoutatag- fsldjf - Go on Rak, get em~

Bloodstone had not forgotten that Carnallite needed help teleporting home, although it wasn’t his fault that she hadn’t found anyone else to help her while in the Negaverse. If she asked him (and she hadn’t), Roselite had more accolades because he was useful to more than just Bloodstone and his paperwork. Instead, he was useful to many, including General Faustite.
He knew that Roselite would be a valuable asset, he just didn’t know how valuable. No, he couldn’t fight, but he had a good attitude about things.
Bloodstone accepted the medal graciously, hoping that this would help him continue to be chosen for special missions.
Exit for Bloodstone

Lieutenant CarnalliteCarnallite had nothing more to say, to Bloodstone or to anyone else. She’d come to do a job, and she’d done that. Their mission, though sudden and in some ways surprising, had been successful, as evidenced by the medal they’d all been presented with. Carnallite wasn’t so foolish as to think that she had much of a hand in that, being only a Lieutenant, but she’d done as instructed and came out of it alive, which was all anyone could ask of her until she earned her first promotion.
For now, she waited for Bloodstone to get over himself and accepted a teleport home.EXIT for Carnallite (several months late) 'cause I want that req.
