Super Hydor [Square A2]Why was she making any commentary at all-- For a moment, he actually managed to make something like a gruff snort of amusement. It lasted briefly, and he turned his attention out to where the general was now -- laying on the ground. Why was Pendour going closer to her? Shouldn't they be trying to make the general regret even showing up? "Yeah, you're a little too person for me, at all," he replied, glancing over his shoulder back toward the knight of whatever for a moment. "Account of the aceness." Lovely -- lovely? Was this general kidding? His attack wasn't exactly gentle. She spun and spun and fell and now she was giggling like the combination of attacks had made her high. As the cloud and the spinning faded from around him, as he watched another two knights approach and one start playing their harp, he lifted a foot to kick the general while she was down only to see Pendour sitting over her and performing some other magic-- Hydor's eyes widened as he blinked. Alright, he was about to have a whole list of nonsense in his notes about this particular event-- "She just bragged that she's distracting us," he scolded, letting go of Tikal's hand and taking the remaining couple steps toward Titanite, attempting to go around Pendour to kick at Titanite's side. He then kept moving. "Sounds like that's her purpose. We should probably move on."

General Ashanite — C3
Another ******** flash of light. Ashanite was less prepared for this one, and it had him off balance, which was not great when Hyperborea was coming at him with everything she had. Clearly this Squire was important to her--she'd come running, and was now fighting to protect her in a way that suggested more than just Hype's natural good heart.
He brought up his staff in an effort to block hers, and while he wasn't entirely successful, it was better tan nothing.
As the light faded and his vision began to clear, he snarled.
"Wavellite! Leifite!" He nodded his head, sharply, in the direction the Cosmos Squire and the Chibi were fleeing. "Get the Squire. I'll handle Hyperborea." He looked between the two of them, feeling pride surge in his chest. "Go. I trust you."
Her desummoning her staff to call up her Aspect gave him some space to take a step back, and he intended to take advantage of it. He gave Hyperbora a broad grin and spread his arms wide.
"Hyperborea, darling, this is so much larger than just me, now. And I won't be calling off anyone." He twirled his staff, and tapped it agianst the ground, but didn't call the dartknes sit bled around him. No need to tip that hand; he could surprise Hype with its darkness when the time came.
He brought his communicator back up, and while his response to Jet was private, he held Hyperborea's gaze the entire time.
"Bring your fire and your binding here--Captain Wavellite and Lieutenant Leifite are moving to intercept, and they could use some backup. I'm handling the Transcended Knight personally."
Because Hyperborea was his problem, and his duty. If anyone was going to kill her, he sort of wanted it to be him.

Lt. Leifite - C3
Pride swelled high in her chest and she gave Ashanite a firm nod. "Sir! Wavellite, catch up to the squire, I'll be right behind you!" The very cute seal stole her attention for a fraction of a second - enough for Leifite to charge at it and send it flying with a kick, before following after the squire and chibi. Damn kids. They would catch this squire and they would end her.
Whether that was in corruption or death, Caer Sidi would die.

[Dark Mirror Sailor Ariadne -- B5]
There were--
There were tentacles.
That was not at all what Ariadne had expected, and she yelped and dodged, trying to avoid the grasping horrors.
"SCATTER!", someone shouted, and she considered running, but no. There was something she could do to....diffuse the situation, somewhat.
She could see who her fellows were targeting as the source of the attack, and she narrowed her eyes, moving towards the Senshi in blue that seemed to be the source of the tentacles. Others were moving to end the conflict, and Ariadne was pretty sure that her magic would make for a good way to cause the Eternal to chill out. Especially with a Dark Mirror eternal (Acubens declaring this Senshi a friend--maybe it was an accident. Maybe things were just all mixed up here. That seemed pretty reasonable as a possibility.
She took a deep breath, dodging a last tentacle to slide in front of Scylla.
"Mourningbride's Wish," she said, under her breath, and then she offered the magical flower to her enemy and hoped, desperately, that it worked as intended. Sailor Scout Attack: Mourningbride's Wish! Sailor Ariadne cups her hands in front of her and speaks the name of her attack, and a spectral mourningbride flower appears in her hands. She offers it to a target, and they feel a mild compulsion to take it. If they do, they will find themselves feeling attached to Ariadne and wanting to please her, even to their detriment. It is possible to resist this compulsion, but fighting it will cause the target to feel a physical ache in their chest. This effect lasts for 25 seconds. Ariadne can use this attack three times per battle. Infinities have a flower and some chylla

DMS Tsukuyomi - B5A friend? What?? What was this senshi even on, calling the tentacle woman a 'friend'? Some of her fellow mirror senshi kept really unusual company, not that Tsukuyomi was really one to talk, maybe. "She might be your friend, but she isn't mine! I have no friends." Also, Scylla attacked first, when Tsukuyomi had been minding her own business, and if there was one policy the dark mirror senshi of kasha followed, it was that you fought fire with fire. It was only fair, after all. Why forgive when you could get even, etc. What at Acubens expecting her to do? Be all 'omg i'm so sorry you attacked us can we hug it out'?? She didn't get a chance to voice that thought outloud, though, as another Dark Mirror deigned to use their magic on those that had returned fire at Scylla. Hit by a bout of vertigo, Tsukuyomi dropped to the ground on one knee, waiting for the world to stop spinning. Ugh, she wasn't interested in retreating like some sort of coward- she hadn't even come here to fight in the first place, she had just wanted to watch. In other words, she had been on her best behavior, until the other Dark Mirrors showed up and drew too much attention to themselves. (Not that she was a people person to begin with, but with the exception of those who had also countered against Scylla's magic, Tsukuyomi decided she really didn't like any of the others all too well.) "Well, I guess you win this time," Tsukuyomi managed through gritted teeth, " Selamat tinggal, bestie! Hope we don't meet again." Kasha were a yokai that stole the corpses of sinners to carry their souls to hell. Scylla was very much alive, for the moment, but when it came to senshi magic, who said she had to be a corpse first?

Chaos cat Cora - B5It seemed to be a nice and surprisingly peaceful gathering between these dark mirror senshi. Even with those disgustingly bright Order energy signatures around in the park, this group seemed like a safe….
Until a lady with a powerful Order aura approached them and called out her attack. It startled Cora although not as much as did the 'scatter' warning. Without much thinking the cream-coloured mauvian jumped out from her senshi friend's arms, only to meet waves that looked way too real. A loud gasp escaped from her mouth, followed by a surprised yelp when a tentacle lifted her in the air. Then the light show started when people reacted to the attack, either by attacking the culprit, tentacles or to each other. To Cora, it meant little but another triggers to her already rising panic.
When the attack was finally over, Cora unceremoniously was dropped on ground from where she made a quick burst to run and climbed to the nearest tree. When she felt she was high enough, she broke into uncontrolled sobbing.DMS Hitomi - B5Attack with no warning and seemingly no reason? Or maybe the lady with glowing tattoos had a reason. She didn't know them, for Hitomi she was a stranger, just like the rest of them.
Unlike Cora, the red-haired tea senshi didn't panic when the tentacle wrapped around her feet. She kept a close eye on it though, just in case it would try to do anything worth actual reaction. So far, it only kept her still and that's it. It prevented her from going closer to Cora, who seemingly was fearing for her life. "Cora. Hey, calm down," she said, trying to sound soothing. It had no effect. As soon as the tentacle spell was over, her furry friend had climbed high on the tree. How wonderful.
One of these similarly dressed people had called the attacker a friend. Really? A friend?! For a moment, Hitomi's fingers curled into fist. Her blood was boiling but she knew out right lashing out would do no good. "One.. two.. three.. four.." she counted until reaching number ten. After that breather, she made her way so that the curly-haired lady (Acubens) could see and hear her but keeping her distance still. She cleared her throat.
"Excuse me," she spoke, trying to keep her voice as calm as possible. "Thanks to that friend of yours, my cat is now on that tree…" She pointed at the same tree Cora had climbed on. "... crying." A long, loud sigh. "Look. I don't know you, I don't know any of you. It hasn't been long since this mahou shoujo strange mirror thing happened. And that kitty over there wanted me to look for friends…. If that lady over there is a friend, maybe I don't want friends."
Hitomi glanced at the tree she had been pointing at. "Anyway, I don't think I have time for this friend-making business. I need to play a fireman." With that, the tea senshi turned on her heels and walked back towards the tree she had been talking about. Now, where would be the easiest way to get up there?
(If I forgot someone, I'm sorry. And if I made typos/used wrong words, sorry about that too. ^^;; )

Lieutenant Ransomite -- E5
Ransomite's eyebrows raised briefly. If the page was serious, then he was suggesting they, what, playfight? In the middle of everything? And hope no one noticed? And how the hell, with those generals nearby, was Ransomite supposed to actually agree and not risk getting caught? A quick wink in an otherwise stoic face was Læraðr's only warning before Ransomite launched at him. genovianprince Ransomite is trying to be sneaky about it lmao ---------------------------------------------Tikal, Page of Ganymede -- A2Tikal gave her own snort in reply to the senshi's retort as she watched the other three concern themselves with the General on the ground. "Glad to know, considering--" a sarcastic gesture to her own uniform. She thought about bringing a sweater, sometimes. But as Sumner started playing, Tikal turned toward Titanite and looked down at the necklace she held in her own hands. Well, if someone held Titanite down, Tikal could give it a shot, but-- Oh, it looked like Pendour had a handle on things, what with the shimmering and all. "Might as well see what she was trying to distract us from." ---------------------------------------------Basiluzzo, Page of Uranus -- C2 to D2Basiluzzo frowned. He didn't want to just split off from Encke. What if something happened? But Basiluzzo thought it better not to argue and turned back toward the direction Encke had indicated. "Be careful!" he called over his shoulder, half-jogging to the others. Or, at least, starting to. He got two, three steps before frowning again and stopping, before turning in place to see where Encke--and Viatrix--had gone. His jogging to rejoin them was carried out with notably more urgency than jogging away. Quote: (Basiluzzo is open for interaction!)

General Jet - G1 - Teleporting to C3 There was finally a response over the communicator and Jet paused in talking to Cymophane to look down at it, his eyebrows furrowed with growing frustration. It didn’t help that he had to wipe his rain drenched hair from his face, the curls that usually stayed out of the way falling into his eyes. “You sure you can handle a Transcended Knight when you couldn’t handle a Squire?”He was about to just toss his communicator back into subspace and not deal with it until this nonsense was over with. He wanted to have them cut their losses and retreat. A distress call being used as a forced recruitment method was not anything he would have done. It was dangerous and irresponsible and he didn’t care if he was rubbing anyone the wrong way with his perfectly legitimate questions. If General Ashanite couldn’t take on a Squire by himself before they called for backup, how was anyone going to expect him to handle a Transcended Knight?
“Albite and Cymophane, go after your original targets. If two Generals, a Captain, and a Lieutenant can’t handle a ******** Squire, we all deserve to be demoted. I’ll follow your lead to the location,” Jet said to the two Senshi before turning to Faustite, his weapon summoned to his hand. “Warn me before you explode.”Quote: I think that was everyone in the area quoted!

Empyrean, Page of Jupiter - to G1Empyrean would normally put himself front and center in any scuffle. He was used to having authority over these types of situations, albeit without the magic. But as a new Page, though he may have known about the war before awakening, he also knew that he was outmatched and lacking a significant amount of experience.
Young as Cybele was, and younger as her friend Anser appeared, they were both more powerful than Paradise and Empyrean himself. The two senshi knew this war in ways Empyrean did not.
That didn’t mean he could completely squash his protective instincts when Cybele approached one of the enemy senshi (Albite), following along at a cautious distance.
At least the stronger two auras in that area did not currently seem interested in their group.
“Stay alert,” he advised his wife.
To Anser he added, “We’ll follow yours and Cybele’s lead.”

Corrupt Sailor Cymophane- G1Being the friendly sort, Cymophane didn’t mind nicknames. He only wished for something cuter than Spots. Briefly, his smile fell into something that could be classified as a pout, if he wasn’t also kind of amused by it, and Jet’s sweet (but unnecessary) defense of him.
There was too much happening at once for Cymophane to comment on any of it. Later, maybe he’d needle Jet a little, give Faustite a hard time for funsies, or ask Albite for a better nickname, but for now they had their orders, and the antlered senshi (Cybele) was approaching.
With a few others trailing behind her. The geriatrics, for one. And another senshi.
“Try and have some fun, Jet,” Cymophane told his General before they parted ways. “Except you are cute when you’re angry.”
With that, Cymophane left his side and turned to face the approaching targets.
“Let me know if you need help on your date,” he told Albite, then directed his own magic toward the babushka in the pretty white dress (Paradise). “Leopard’s Strike.”Quote: Leopard’s StrikeThree long, black claws of energy grow between Cymophane’s fingers. Though he does not have to make contact with an enemy to cause damage, a swipe directed at them will result in torn clothing and the sensation of lacerations to skin. The sensation of pain will last for 30 seconds and has a range of 8 feet. At player discretion, the character can take lasting damage such as mild injuries that are deep enough to scar if desired, but not so much as to be immediately life threatening. The magic can be used three times. Guine I accidently wrote Paradise as Paradies and caught it just before posting. Strickenized No hard times to be given to Faustite atm Shiningamisgirl Cymo pouts at the not-as-cute-as-he'd-like nickname stari-maga Proximity to Cybele. Attacking Paradise. Hyperborea, Transcended Knight of the Cosmos - C3Hyperborea didn't like the sound of Ashanite's call, not in the least. She hadn't wanted to use her new treasure so soon after finding it but if there was ever a time for it's use it was now. Raising her hand a silver bracelet with five round, opalescent charms dangling from it slid out from under her golden armored bracer. She channeled the magic of the object sending the charms flying off the bracelet and turning into baseball sized wisps of light. Hyperborea sent them to surround and protect Caer.
She brought her ring up to communicate with the squire. "Caer I'm sending a bit of help your way you've got more pursuers heading after you. Get to a safe spot with the chibis and then take them to your wonder with you. These bastards won't be able to follow." She instructed before lowering her ring hand and focusing on Ashanite again.
"I don't know who you were speaking to but they won't lay a finger on her." She spoke with a dangerous calm. Then without warning she rushed foreword grabbing the body of Ashanite's bladed staff and throwing it behind her. He would either her to let go to defend himself or be thrown with the staff. A tactic she had come to prefer from her many encounters with Painite. She swung for the man's face. Opalescent Charm Bracelet A silver bracelet with five round, opalescent charms dangling from it. Though this looks like an ordinary charm bracelet, when the magic is activated all five opalescent spheres pull off of the bracelet and form baseball sized spheres of light. All five spheres surround a single target of the wearer’s choice; the glowing wisps spin in a steady, circular pattern around the target about two feet away from their body. The orbs move with the target, but if anyone (or anything) comes in contact with one of the wisps, it will explode into a burst of light, causing a tingling sensation to whoever collided with them. This can cause up to fifteen seconds of temporary blindness or numbness to enemies, but at player discretion the orbs can also cause the temporary sensation of pain or lasting damage. The orbs will hover around the target until they explode, or for up to five minutes before they will dissolve. The magic only works once, and after the magic expires, the charm bracelet can be kept as a memento.

General Faustite — teleporting to C3"Summon you when I need you," he tossed over his shoulder while he was focused on Jet. He hoped the comms' mic range was low, else it might've picked up his chuckle for Jet's barb. This one's temperament matched Faustite's stomach. Cymophane was right, though; Jet was cute when he was angry, and Faustite hoped that didn't show in his face.
Couple trees were in the way, but spotting Ashanite was no great feat; the lone General in the middle fighting a Knight. Some Lieutenants, he supposed in pursuit of the Squire. Easy enough to catch one, but his role was to cover the tracks, not run down and burn down the target. And now that the presumable target had some kind of beads around her? That was Ashanite's problem, or whoever was pursuing her.
"Call your name, then." Sucked for anyone who didn't take that as a heads up; likely they weren't using their heads anyway. Wouldn't mind if it burned off their necks.
A breath, and he was there by the fountain. Took a moment to refocus, reorient, with Ashanite and Hyperboria's throwdown uninterrupted. "Think that's a suncatcher?" He muttered to Jet, pointing at the Squire (Caer Sidi surrounded by spheres and Lieutenants.Quote: Please let me know if I missed something! Always happy to edit heart

Paradise, Page of Cosmos - G2 Paradise smiled brightly at the young woman who jumped down from the tree branch. And seemed just as enthusiastic about fighting the bad guys as Cybele was. “Oh, I love your dress! Look we have matching colors,” Paradise pointed out the purple, but really she loved how adorable everyone’s magical outfits were.
She was aware enough to nod in agreement to Empyrean when he said to stay alert, but still lifted a hand to her mouth to call after Cybele. “Make sure you take a break to drink some water! It's very important to stay hydrated while fighting!" Luckily she packed plenty of extra water into her subspace pocket. Some snacks too.
“Yes, you and Cybele have much more experience, so whatever you say we’ll listen,” she promised Anser, only to let out a surprised yelp when the blond in the dark outfit (Cymophane) decided to attack her, cutting through the fabric of her dress over her leg.
“Oh, that wasn’t very nice!” she sniffled from the pain of the lacerations, but it didn’t seem as though there was any blood.

Captain Bloodstone - A3 The wall of ice may have stopped his pick from injuring the child (Arthuradel) for the moment, but Bloodstone was willing to try another swing to break the shield-- if Roselite didn’t stop him.
Of course, Roselite’s interruption earned him a misdirected snarl, even as he looked him over to make sure he hadn’t been injured by the child’s attempted attack on him. If the child tried attacking Roselite again, Bloodstone was not going to listen to Roselite’s pleas.
“Keep your guard up,” he growled instead, annoyed with himself that Roselite could not yet teleport if necessary. Carnallite he didn’t have to worry about her handling herself, but Roselite could definitely use the ability to quickly escape if needed.
But as Roselite requested, he turned away from the Chibi Senshi and his eyes narrowed on both the Squire (Imbrium) and Super Senshi (Phaethon) that were close to them. He already knew that the woman could use an ice shield, so now he just had to figure out what the clown of a senshi could do.
His mouth twisted into an amused sneer. Both the Super Senshi and Squire looked to be maybe ten years his junior. He might have only been a Captain, but he wondered just how much experience in fighting these two actually had. He held his weapon low and didn’t wait for an invitation before charging forward to swing his pick at the jester (Phaethon) this time.

Wavellite C3He trusted her. The words made Wavellite grin and sped her steps as she focused on the target of the Squire, who now had...strange...floating marshmallows encircling her. Well...that was something she could handle easily enough. If only there was someone with fire around, then they could roast them and eat some smores.
Actually, smores sounded really good right about now.
“Leif! Cover me yeah?”
She had a real weapon, she had a further reach. If her teammate could just…get the Squire, then that would mean whatever distraction she provided would be more than worth it, right?
Lunging, she dug the point of her sword into one of the wispmallows and hissed as it flashed brightly, her arm going slightly numb.
...Odd. But okay.
Keeping up her movement, she poked the second, and the third, and by that time, had to move the sword to her other hand, her dominant one limp and tingling all over. Though...all of her was tingling now, and there were spots dancing in front of her eyes.
...Maybe...these wouldn't be very good for roasting after all but...the idea of smores...was still a great one!
The sword sliced through the forth orb with much less finesse and she missed twice with the last one, feeling as though her whole body was recovering from being asleep, pins and needles everywhere but...there was just...one more. She could.
She did. With a supreme effort, the sword stabbed through the last of the wisps, and with a heavy, tired slur in her words. “Get her...Lief! Get her…”
