While useful when used on NPC's or summons it cannot be used to restrain other players as explained above unless they turn into beasts or transform. Cost: (leave blank for moderator) Description: A technique derived from the Jūheitei Kusari, which manifests multiple wolf-headed spiked chains from the users body to completely immobilize a target with greater strength. This binding power is far greater than that of Jūheitei Kusari due to a seal which suppresses the abilities of the beast while damaging them over time. By forming a simple hand sign, a magic glyph can be formed under the target which spews forth multiple chains that embed themselves into the ground or surrounding features. By clasping their hands together the users can keep a tight restraint on the target,but those the ability to use their hands or the technique will brake.

Mage techniques are already some of the most intensive magic techniques in the game and the flexibility of magic gives it the ability to copy the effects of even non-magic techniques and abilities. Combined with a shifter's unique ability to copy others, a certain shifter mage with a tendency to play copy-cat has learned how to steal any abilities or techniques she has seen at least once. After witnessing the technique/ability, the shifter has to then touch the target. This can be the usual simple touch or passing brush, but it must be after the shifter has seen what they want to copy. The shifter is free to copy something from someone they've already mimicked before or who they've already copied a technique from. To deal with such mishaps, barriers are an indispensable tool. With this skill, a mage can create a barrier to weather even the worst situations, so long as she has the mana. Since the strength of this mana shield is determined by the amount of mana the mage invests into the shield, she may use more mana to use this technique than the base cost listed and can continue to channel MP into the technique even after its formed. The shield's defense stat is equal to half the mana used to create the shield, including the base cost and any additional mp/sp racial disadvantages. The shields health stat is equal to the mana invested into the shield, still including the base cost and any additional mp/sp racial disadvantages, during and after creation. The shield takes damage from attacks but is unaffected by extra effects, e.g. poisons, status, drain. When the shield's health reaches 0, the shield breaks. The shield's defense does not degrade in any way.
