If we reserve a post in a character's journal for a world prompt solo, but don't fill that post in before the world prompt expires, are we still allowed to edit the reserved space with an answer to the prompt and have it count towards the point the world prompt was written to give?
Answer
You may reserve a post for a solo, but the reserved post is only good for one month after the deadline is up. So if it's not completed and done after that one month we can't accept it as a versatile point. It must still be dated within the allowed timeframe and have all necessary rolls.

If we're waiting on official art from a growth, do we need to wait until it's done before RPing our character at the next stage?
Or are we allowed to RP them in the meantime without it?
Answer
You aren't allowed to rp them in their next stage until they've officially grown. With characters in a class quest this means when they've been graded, with younglings growing to prentices this means when they receive their art.

Question about breeding. For same-sex Earthling couples, can the surrogate/donor be an NPC as long as both of the parents are player characters? Or do all three of them have to be playable? Answer
I'd like to direct you to this post where the question was already answered.
I'd also like to add that if the surrogate/donor is NPC staff must be made aware of the general looks of the NPC or at least the race of the NPC since that is where the genetic material is coming from.

How long were the Matori enslaved under the Obans? Was it just a short-lived thing, or does it go back further in terms of history?
Also -- what's the lifespan of the various familiars on Tendaji?Answer
The enslavement goes way way back in their history. Roughly 200 years back, so there aren't any living people who were around before Matori became a slave nation, though it wasn't always a thing.
I would like to direct you to this post where the question has already been answered. :]

Do solos have to be in an RP style format?
Or could they be in a journal style as if the character themself were reflecting on something so long as it meets the required word count?
Also -- in terms of money, what deems a person rich, middle class, or poor as far as amounts go?
Answer
I'm assuming "RP style" means telling a story about something your character has done (not like a 10 post RP). They can be about almost anything pertaining to the character, so if something like a "diary entry" where they just explore their feelings about something is what you want to do, that is also allowed as long as it reached the word count.
There is no hypothetical amount I can place on what a wealthy family would be since there is no standardized rate of exchange throughout Tendaji. Usually the key to discerning it is just how comfortable their daily life is. A lot of the areas of Tendaji still use bartering as a system, so monetary trading doesn't have much value to them, but they could have a plethora of nice belongings and be considered a wealthy family.

I have so many questions -- I apologize for that. ; w;
Can RPs over AIM or Skype count toward the RPs reqs, so long as they meet the required post limit?Answer
Yes, We have had this done numerous times in the past and it's perfectly fine, though it needs to be full length responses and the appropriate number of posts.
Example of RP that was completed via AIM
It can be posted in one post as shown, or broken down to multiple posts, but should definitely be copied over to a thread (or in their journal though we prefer a thread be made)

If spiritual magic users are a balance of offensive & defensive magic, can they use & master spells from both lists?
If so, is there a limitation on how many they can master?
Answer
Spiritual magic is indeed meant to be a balance between offensive an defensive magic. To keep it fair, they can master 6 spells from either magic, and the rest can only be learned up to lvl2. (like with offensive and defensive users' limits)

Is there a description of what the spells do in more detail at each level? Or just in general?Answer
There is, in the battle forum in battle basics thread there is info on how spells work in battle. Here is a link to the specific post.

This question has been spawned from general curiosity I have for the world of Tendaji as well as the fact I noticed Kana did an art exhibit at her school:
So we know of the species that currently live in the lands of Tendaji (somewhere in Africa) but are there other species outside of where we currently are? Basically, have you thought of any other races that exist in this world? Could there be other earthlings, or maybe slightly different forms of the same earthlings in different areas?
Once again, this isn't for the want of making a special character in shop, I just was curious about the world as a whole!
As a follow up, for a more shop-based idea:
Is there a chance that there are Earthlings living in areas close to where we currently are, that could journey to the settlements via ships or caravans? Or are the settlements we see pretty much the only ones populated in a reasonable traveling location around the world? Basically, could a ship show up with a group of travelers who are unfamiliar with the history of the land, but still have similar enough traits to match a race currently in the land? (I'd assume maybe they are decedents of travelers who set out ages ago for their own lands?)
Answer
The shop version of Tendaji is much more developed than the game version I was working on in school, but no. There were no other earthling races intended or any other intelligent beings besides the antagonists of the game. The antagonists were called the sentients and came from the sea, but they are not planned on being canon to Tendaji in the B/C version so don't actually exist.
There is no way that a ship or anything else would just pop up on land with anybody that didn't live on the continent of Tendaji or the islands marked on the map. The settlements stated are the settlements known to everyone else.

(putting this here cause I know others will want to know in the future!)
Q1: I was working, slowly, on a new character quest and wasn't sure, if at the moment I could get another hybrid or not? I know there are rules about them and that someone can only have X amount of them. I was curious if I might be able to ask you to help me figure that out?
A1: Not a problem you're allowed to quest 1 hybrid per 2 pure that you own. For example: An owner has already quested 2 hybrids and has 8 pure so they're allowed to quest 2 more.
Q2: Do you ignore all breeding hybrids you have? Like they don't count towards it? So just count how many quested hybrids you have and use (for your full blood count) all full bloods you currently own?
A2: Yes. Only hybrids that were quested/customed. The Owner's Availability thread reflects the number of hybrids you currently have available to quest.

Does the world of Tendaji have a set culture or era that it takes after? Basically, are they technologically similar to the egyptian timeline, or maybe the greeks?
Answer
Tendaji is purely fantasy-based and isn't set to a specific culture or era. Kan doesn't feel comfortable enough with any specific history to give a definite answer to this, but they can be seen as having similar technology to Ancient Rome. Minus the indoor plumbing XP

Question: For the world events, if we do them with a group of our own characters, are we allowed to write it in a story format instead of a post format and have it count for all three? (Assuming, of course, that the story matched the appropriately multiplied word requirement.)
Answer
I'm sorry, but they would still have to write out 7 posts each. The formats are non interchangeable since it is not a solo.
