@Seph Baelzara: You didn't roll for challenge 3, so I took your latest roll (16) as the result for that. Please roll for challenge 7. As well, make sure to roll for any other challenges you run into on turn 4. You end up 3-4 squares away from 11. @Rock_DS: Please select a starting position, and roll 1d20 if you run into one of the challenges since both are 9 squares away if you start in certain spaces.
Turn 3 Event Log - Two challenges and a path have been revealed by bamaotaku! Path: Abandoned Dwarven Stronghold Once a great dwarven city in the north, it has long since abandoned. Now it rests as a home to all manner of beasts seeking shelter from the elements, not to mention whatever traps the dwarves may have left behind. [08] Moderate Challenge: The Hidden Stronghold Entrance (Int, Wis) bamaotaku comes across a strange wall of ice blocking his path, momentarily stumping him. As he stares at it, he suddenly remembers that historically there was once a dwarven stronghold up north and all once has to do is find the switch that opens the door. A quick search of the area reveals a lever hidden in some bushes which causes the ice wall to split, revealing a path into some caves. Immediately after he enters, the door seals behind him. [ An intelligence check of 19 passes the challenge! ] [09] Easy Challenge: Kobold Trap Ambush (Dex, Con) As bamaotaku navigates the dwarven halls of the stronghold, he comes across a hallway which is slightly.. off. As he steps into it, arrows suddenly rain down on him from murder holes while spears jab out at him from various places while the chattering of kboolds fills the air. Not terribly hardy, at least he proves quite graceful as he expertly dodges his way down the hall and continues on - nobody giving chase to him, instead just waiting for the next sucker to pass by. [ A dexterity check of 13 passes the challenge! ] - Shingami Hiroshi has failed a challenge! Unable to run longer than the wolves, he was torn asunder by them. If not for the timely arrival of some people going back down the mountain, he'd have been dead. Unfortunately, his survival came at a cost - he has lost some ground. Challenge: [04] The Pack of Wolves (Str, Con). [You have been moved back 1 space, and ending up right in front of the challenge.] - NayrVentess is hot on the heels of bamaotaku! - Oshi the Killer successfully completes a challenge by being strong enough to carry an injured man. She winds up in the same spot as Raganui Minamoto, leaving them to argue over who has the better method of carrying people. Challenge: [05] The Injured Climber. - Rock_DS enters the race! Please indicate a starting position. - A challenge has been revealed by Rain Yupa! [11] Easy Challenge: Acid Slush (Wis, Con) Rain Yupa is unable to notice the tell-tale signs of the area of magical terrian he was walking into, such as the melted bits of body and armor and ends up walking right into a bog of acid slush! Luckily for him, as he was quite similar to Tordek, he was simply able to march right through it without much difficulty - leaving him with acid burns, but through the slush. [ A constitution check of 13 passes the challenge! ] - A challenge has been revealed by Vorastrix! [06] Easy Challenge: Scavenging For Food Vorastrix finds that he had lost most of his food running away from the wolves, it must have fallen from his pack. He's left to scavenge for what little food is on the tundra, but he manages to find some small animals and plants to eat. [ A wisdom check of 19 passes the challenge! ] - [EC2] Carthinator places his back to the wall as he takes tiny steps south-west. - Seph Baelzara has reached a challenge.
