A human servant, probably one of the head maids, judging from her attire, silently guided Amanae to the room that was to serve as hers for the remainder of her stay, the expression on her round, pleasant face just a hair away from annoyance. Amanae briefly wondered what she had done to upset the woman, and then remembered her unorthodox request and polite refusal of an escort. The corners of her mouth lifted briefly into a wry smile. The servants here are more concerned with propriety than the royalty, from what I've seen, she thought. She hadn't even caught a glimpse of any of her possible future husbands... not that she was terribly upset about that.
The woman in front of her came to an abrupt stop, jolting Amanae out of her musings. The maid raised her eyebrows very, very slightly, opened an ornately carved door, and stood aside to allow the princess access. "We've reached your room, Your Highness," she said, her voice cooly polite.
Amanae felt herself flush with embarrassment, but after years of practice, it took no effort at all to keep her expression serene. "Thank you," she said brightly, walking forward into the room. It was elegant enough, with flowing, green silk draperies and and an enormous canopy bed. The closet was open, and she could see that all of her things had already been brought up and stored neatly, as was proper.
"Will Your Highness be requiring a bath?" the servant asked.
"Not now," Amanae answered, turning away from the closet to look into that polite, disapproving face. "I am tired, and wish to rest. I will need one before dinner."
"Very good, Your Highness. Will you be requiring a maid to help you undress?"
Amanae almost laughed out loud before she saw that the woman was serious. After a few shocked seconds, she managed a reply. "I thank you, no."
"Then, if there is nothing else, might I be excused?"
Amanae wondered what the woman would do if she said 'no'. "Of course. Thank you." The servant curtsied and bustled from the room, shutting the door behind her. The Princess watched the door intently for a few moments, then removed her circlet and began to pull pins out of her hair.

[@Takeruch- Nice, that helps. @Falkot- I figured. Just wanted to make sure.] [ wearing this armor] Niro briskly walked through the town. He didn't know where to look for the prince first. But since he was in the business area anyway, he figured that he might as well try here. The guards back at the castle manage to tell him what the prince looked like and what his hobbies were in town. Niro looked up towards the sky with one hand rubbing the back of his head. "A pretty girl...a pretty girl. Man, all the girls here are beautiful." He overheard a bunch of giggling from two girls passing by. Obviously hearing what he had just said. Blushing a bit, Niro shrunk into his armor. I got to stop doing that. He decided to begin his search looking into stores and asking for Cyrith. Not by name, but more by look so that word of the prince in town won't stir up anything. After about 15mins of this, Niro grow inpacient. His step had a little more stomp to it as he enter another store. For the love of god, where is he! I'm getting sick of this stupid hide and seek game. He was about to ask the girl when he notice her blushing wildly next to a young man. The guy was tall and slander with short brown hair just a bit off his shoulders. In his right ear are three gold earrings. Niro raised an eyebrow at the guy and decided to investigate. "Excuse me sir, mind if I talk to you for just a second."

"Really?" Grant asked. "Why? I hope its not because you think your fat or something because you look great." Grant grabbed another piece of food and thought Did that sound like I'm trying to be more than friends? naww. Well I hope not anyways." Grant picked up another piece of meat and not thinking talked with food in his mouth. "Try it, it's great." He said holding out the piece. He didn't know why but he was starting to like hanging around Jewlet. He felt like he didn't have to try and convince her he was as good as his father. Guessing that was because she never new his father though. He was a great father a model Captain and the best friend a man could ask for Grant wanted to be just like him. Well him plus the ears and tail which where on high alert. He kept one ear in Jewlet's direction wile the other was darting around for anything that he mite need to take care of. As for his tail it was wagging more than usual which was probably cause from being around Jewlet.

Alexander was a bit disappointed; they weren't having any awkward moments like Alexander had planned to come in at. It turned out Grant was better at conversation then he let on and this put a halt to playing the violin. Since there was no point in hiding anymore, Alexander was feeling a bit hungry himself and Grant seemed to have much better food then the crap given to the servants every night. Alexander only got to eat good food when he played his violin for dinner once a week. Since Alexander had nothing to lose, it wasn't much a decision to go greet the two. Walking out of the shadows and at the same time putting away his violin along with the violin’s fiddle, Alexander spoke.
"Who is your lady friend, Grant?"
Alexander was a bit sick of bowing, but he remembered well what Grant had said before about no ranks among friends; if he was friends with everyone, then Alexander wouldn't have to bow to any Dirt Bloods anymore. For the so and so time today, Alexander bowed to greet Grant's friend and Grant himself. Hopefully Grant would try to keep any comments about the horrible Minstrel attire to himself, but things didn't usually go the way Alexander wanted them to.

Jewlet placed her arms on the table. "Oh, no. I am fine within how I am." She said looking up. 'Hm?' She looked at the pice of meat. "Okay." She took the pice of meat. "Thank you." She started to eat on the meat. Once she was finished she said. "It is good." She gave a small, half hearted smile. Jewlet turned her head and looked at Alexander. She bowed her head. "Good-day." She had seen this person before, but never knew his name. "I am Jewlet Ivie."

Grant was startled a little by Alexander coming over. He hated to admit it but he was paying more attention to Jewlet. "O, Alexander. Good to see you again." He looked to Jewlet. "Jewlet, this is Alexander." Looking back to Alexander Grant grabbed a piece of meat and plopped it inot his mouth. "What brings you back out here?" He asked.

"I am a bit busy right now," the prince murmured out of the side of his mouth, low enough so that the beautiful girl could not hear. As he turned around to tell the man off however, what he saw was green hair and a suit of armor, royal armor. "You know on second thought, can I, a simple merchant, help you?" The man laughed nervously as he put his arm around the man's shoulder and nudged them towards the door. If he was recognized, he would prefer not to have his identity revealed to the pretty girl.

"I simply came out here to say hello, but I noticed you have a friend here and decided it would be best to play for you two as you enjoyed lunch. I rarely play for anyone outside of the Royal Family's dinner and would greatly enjoy playing for a friend and his special someone."
Alexander decided he may actually play for the two and for a serious occasion. Alexander unlatched his violin and withdrew his fiddle from its holster with a motion of his fingers, instantly starting to play a song with harmony emitting from the strings without even touching the fiddle. The tune of the song started soft with many mid-pitched notes that went as if a harmonic rhythm of a human heart beat with the waves of the ocean. Tou always played with their eyes closed for top concentration. How Alexander managed to play such a tune with such class was years of practice and magical properties of the Tou. Magic from the Tou could emit any number of melodies on certain instruments if they practiced and a veteran like Alexander had indeed practiced a great deal. Alexander never actually sang when he was playing a song on the violin or he would play horribly. Playing impressive music was one of the talents Alexander possessed, but the best acts were preserved for the Royal Family. Alexander just assumed they were close friends since in Tou cultures it was assumed members of the opposite gender in Dirt Blood society instantly meant they were together.

Grant instantly starting turning red as he looked towards the ground and a way from jewlet a bit. "O, heheh, We're just friends. Heh." Grant looked at his meal and got real quiet. His hears dropped flat and his tail stopped moving as he kept food in his mouth so he wouldn't have to say anything else.

Jewlet looked over at Grant and then put her head down. She smiled and looked at Alexander. "Nice to meet you, Sir Alexander." She turned away and let them talk. If Jewlet had had such control over her emotions she would have blushed. She looked at Grant as she placed her hands in her lap. 'Special someone? I can't even find happiness.' She sighed and kept her head down trying to hide her face. She undid her braids with her power and just started to play with it. She didn't know how to respond to this at all. She looked back up at Grant. She nodded her head. Then she saw his ears got down and tail quit moving. She stood up and went over to Grant. She was frowning deeply. "Cheer up." She started to rube his ears. "I don't want to see anyone one sad." She said with a strong tone.

Alexander opened his eyes and stopped playing and his fiddle floated back into the palm of his head. The song wasn't actually meant to be seriously for the reason they thought, it was merely a misunderstanding.
"Oh, I didn't know Grant...I'm so sorry, I just assumed you two were together. Oh, curse my mother's side of the family, I should have known better."
Alexander knew how to exactly fix the situation. In rare cases Tou were known to use their child like appearances to get away with things or any other problem. With a simple sad expression on his face, Alexander looked as if he himself was about to cry. Looking like a child was basically a defense mechanism, but it served to fix many problems as well if the need came. If Alexander seemed saddened by his mistake, there was a chance Grant would come out of his shy attitude and tell Alexander everything was okay and no harm was done, thus everyone would forget what happened and start over. This technique could backfire however since Jewlet didn't want anyone to look sad and she herself seemed to be a mystery that confused Alexander. Like a Tou she had white hair and displayed little emotion other then facial expressions. Jewlet seemed more like a Tou then Alexander did and he was sure Jewlet was at least human.

[ wearing this armor] Allowing himself to be lead outside, Niro shift his eyes over toward the young man. There was no point in talking to him if he wasn't the prince. When he got a good look at the guy's eyes, he notice they were green just as the guards described. Despite the lack of sunlight in the store, they seem to shimmer like emeralds. For a second, Niro found himself lost in their magical trance. But quickly pulled his eye back, remembering what Grant had told him. Once outside, Niro turn to face the guy making sure not to have eye contact. Instead he focused on the man's blue tunic. Whispering as low as possible could, "Your highness.....I'm here to take you back to the palace." He looked around a bit, "I doubt you want to create a racket here. So I suggest that you come with me quietly...your grace."
