"Heya Ep." Raleigh stood up and stretched, "Ow!" She felt her neck and winced, "My neck is really hurting." She looked in a fridge for a pack of ice, and placed it on her neck behind her head.

"Oh, just seeing some old friends. Very old friends." , he stated with a bit of a chuckle at his little hint. "I can see into the Spirit Realm and I was just checking on them.", said Protean a little more clearly. Right now, he didn't really feel like keeping Miyuki in the dark about this.
Raising his right arm and snaking it around Miyuki's shoulder, the werewolf drew her in a little closer, letting her head rest on his shoulder if she wanted. He did however nuzzle his face into the top of her head a little. Just a little thing he did out of instinct. "How's Satomi doing?", he asked with more than a little hint of concern in his voice. Based on what Protean saw last night, she didn't look like she'd be feeling any better for a long time. But, he still hoped that Miyuki had managed to ease her pain at least a little bit.

Ichigo turned off the flow of water and peeled away the backing of the bandaid, placing it on the scarcely bleeding wound. She looked at the steel cat, and earlier she had been watching the new guy in the corner of her eye. Alchemy? She was a bit surprised, she didn't know anyoen who could use alchemy. Someone dear to her did give her a necklace in which the pendant was a transmutation circle with a large blue gem in the middle of it. She never showed it to anyone, but it was hidden underneath her shirt. She turned her gaze towards Raleigh. "You okay?"

As Protean drew her closer to him, she leaned into him, feeling him nuzzle the top of her head. A small laugh emitted from her as he did this, realizing that she liked the action. After a moment or so, she snapped back to reality as he mentioned Satomi. A soft sigh escaped her, before she spoke in a somewhat saddened tone.
"Satomi... Well, Satomi is as could be expected after what had happened last night... I mean, if I had been in her position, I would have been in the same mood as her... I feel so horrible about what he did to her..."

"I've slept wrong for the past couple nights. My neck it killing." She sighed trying to stretch her neck, "So, anything new going on?" She leaned down to conversate. Taking another sip from the drink she had made recently, she decided to stay behind the bar incase anything happened to the pizza.

"Oh... I see..." New? Ichi didn't know if anything new had been happening. She was too busy in her room. Edward finished his tuna, licking his lips and purring, as if he said, 'Thank you Raleigh! Thank you!' Ichi picked up the sttel cat and held it up, examining it. "This is neat, huh? That guy is talented."

"Mmm... Yeah. I hope she gets better soon. Doubt that happening anytime soon, though." As Protean said this, he adjusted his body so that his back was resting to the trunk of the tree, his arms still around Miyuki and letting her rest against him again. It felt nice to be like this. Real nice. He'd almost forgotten what it was like.
After breathing a little sigh, the werewolf looked down at the Orion, remembering his bout with Taliman and wishing he could've trounced that arrogant b*****d. Yet, he knew that he didn't fight him to prove who was better and to avenge Satomi's anguished feelings. To do would've only set back the werewolf when he knew that he probably wouldn't win, thus making him fail Satomi. Only reason he did was to test how he would do against him. He knew the chances of him actually defeating Taliman were slim. No matter how much he may have wanted to, Protean knew that he couldn't yet defeat him. Yet as he glanced at the new pentagram marking on the top of his right hand, he knew that time just might be coming soon.
Turning back to the kitsune, the werewolf gently placed his hands over her's, squeezing them affectionately. He couldn't help but release a slight chuckle at what he said next though. "I think I did manage to strike a nerve against Taliman last night, though. Got him pissed enough to challenge me, at least."

Nodding at Raleigh she pat her friends shoulder.
"Have you tried going to a massuese. I'm not sure applying ice to your neck would hurt unless the muscle is swollen. It may actually be more detrimental in the long rund to slow blood flow via cooling the tissue. Actually something warm would be more helpful...."
Chanting something undiscernable she summoned forth a small white bottle.
"Try this....its a salve I use when I feel sore after an workout."
Setting the bottle on the counter.
"When'd it start hurting?"

"It's been happening for the past 2 days, I end up sleeping on my tummy and my neck is bent in a weird way." She took down the ice bag, and placed it down in the sink. "Do I just drink it?"

Miyuki smiled as she was held against Protean, her eyes closing lazily. It was a good feeling to be held like this. It had been such a long time since she had been with someone, especially someone so kind and caring as him. She wouldn't have it any other way.
As his gaze turned to the Orion, her gaze turned to the tree she had been at. She could still see the spots of blood from when Satomi had punched the bark. She had only stopped her after a few moments, not getting outside in time to prevent the first blows.
When Protean began to speak about Taliman, her eyes darted up towards his, as she craned her neck slightly to look at him better. "What happened?"

Ichigo continued to look at the steel carefully, holding it closer to her face and running her fingers over the creases. "He's an Alchemist, and a very good one at that." Ichi wouldn't know if Raleigh knew what an alchemist or alchemy was, but right now, Ichi was too busy looking at the steel cat. Edward was near Ichi, he was also looking at the steel cat, blinking and pawing at it as Ichi held it in her hands.

Shaking her head she smiled at the idea.
"Uuuuh no. If you drink it would make you violently ill. It needs to be kneaded into your muscle. Neck problems from sleeping on your neck funny are usually just strained muscles."
Laughing a bit.
"Though I must admit its difficult to apply youself. I usually summon forth some spectral hands. If need be I can do the same for you. But real hands are always better."
