With Muffy fallen, the only target left was The Queen, and she looked ready for a fight. She stood in the center of the room, mouth curling into a smile. The epic battle would begin any second no-

"Yo! I got it!" The sound came from the rafters, and if one directed their eyes to it you'd see X, dangling from his legs upside down as he held a small tablet, the screen lit with a rambling of letters that looked like code. Where did they even get these things? Had they raided an electronic store before coming here?

Ava began to stir in her corner, a soft groan escaping her. The Queen snapped her head to look at the demoness before releasing a sharp and shrill whistle.

"We got what we wanted, it is time to leave." She announced. It seemed despite her willingness to fight the students, now that they acquired whatever it was they needed she seemed unwilling to entertain Ava once the demon was fully awake.

X leapt down, landing beside his queen and giving a nice, friendly little wave to the people he had torn apart, wave turning mid movement into a signal to get the hell out to the infected and corrupted. At a speed that was abnormal, the corrupted began to filter out of the room, leaving the wounded souls a moment to rest.

The infected would come with them, but it was only a few minutes later one could hear a commotion down the halls. It seemed authorities had come, and they were snatching at any infected they could find and knocking them unconscious.

What to Do:
At this point, the Meta is over and a final post with a summary of what happened to Below and Above during and after this time will be posted on March 4th, as well as guidelines for RP for those with infected. Until then, you have options to make before March 4th.

During the escape, some infected were grabbed to be detained and hopefully cured. However, if you want your character to successfully escape with the Queen, go to this thread and post a form: here. Please read the information entirely, as your character will have restrictions upon them. If you do not post that form by March 4th, it is assumed your character was rescued.

If you want alternate art with some lasting infected art on your character, go here: here. Those who choose to stay with the queen will get more infected traits on them. If you do not post in here by March 4th, it is assumed you do not want your characters alternate art.

On March 4th, a new post will be made here announcing the creation of the infected and cannibal lore guide, a summary of what has occurred outside of the academy, and new changes in the academy due to this event! Until then, you can RP your character's response to the queen leaving. A medical team is rapidly on their way to the academy to tend to the students, and Yuki is frantically trying to stop bleeding.

Baum geared up for another attacked when x drew his attention to the rafters. He couldn't quite hear the conversation but they were leaving. It was almost too good to be true.The nightmarish hell was over. The hallowed Chimera sunk to the floor just breathing. While Baum himself hadn't walked away scotch free, he thought of all the injuries he had seen on others. Some one had lost an eye, another person would never walk on their own two feet again. Faces and bodies would be forever scarred. It was a mess, people outside had been killed if the reports from earlier on where correct and he still hadn't heard from kadali or his friends. He had no room to feel relieved, but he did.

There was now time to find those answers, and to get medical attention for his wounds. Ah well maybe he could wait a while. He'd have to track down Miss. elf to give her back her rat if she became cured. No... after she got cured.he'd also have to find Vanna in this mess of things since the man had a slight aversion to the police for some odd reason.

However it was then his phone rang. It was like the slow motion in the movies as he turned towards the pocket it was nestled in, he knew that ring tone. He snatched the phone and brought it up to his ear after clicking the answer button. The sound of his twin sister's voice greeted him. Okay so she was shrieking at him but Baum didn't care. Shrieking at him meant that she was alive. He tried to answer the best he could but now that she had finally called him back, his voice caught in his throat. Warm tears cascaded down his cheeks and what finally did escape his throat were sobs.

" you're alive. You're alive ... you... are.... alive. Oh thank the nine" Baum sobbed. He didn't remember he was supposed to be mad at her for not answering her phone. He didn't notice the police knocking out the infected victims that hadn't escaped. He didn't even really recognize what kadali was saying to him.

He was just hurt, tired, but his sister was alive and okay.

Coco was confused they were leaving her behind?? Well, she was a bad infected she was really bad at hurting others, though she had bitten a few and eaten a little. So she was supposed to go too right? That was what she needed to do follow her queen and be a good minion creature?? Coco blinked and started moving through the room to follow the rest of the infected to leave and follow her queen to get away from everyone since that's what she was supposed to do. Coco felt like there was something she was forgetting but when she tried to grab the thought it slipped through her fingers like mist.

Eirian watched Aedus start to walk away, searching for something or someone. "Niamh? Her name was Niamh? Good to know." Eirian nodded solemnly to themselves. Now that the adrenaline was leaving their body, Eirian couldn't fathom the thought of standing. They were just so tired.

They weren't sure what was going to happen in the future, but Eirian was glad to finally be able to rest. The fey hybrid leaned back against the wall, careful of their injuries and torn wing. They could rest now. Everything was going to be okay. "I knew it." Eirian grinned to themselves. Their optimism had won this time.

That damned monster hit him again, clawing at him and sent Kingston reeling to back. Before he could lunge in and attack again, a familiar form appeared and he stared for a moment at the familiar form of Coco, but she wasn't herself, clearly. He opened his mouth to say something, but then she bit him! "ARGH!" She drew a good bit of blood from his shoulder when she bit him and pulled the flesh off.

Suddenly the queen and that damnable X b*****d were leaving. He heaved a sigh, sagging, but... but wait, Coco looked like she was about to leave with them! "C-Coco!" He couldn't let her go! Even though his arm protested, he reached out the badly bloodied and bitten arm and grabbed Coco around the shoulders. "I... You can't go Coco!" He started to sob. "This isn't you!" He didn't care if she bit him. He had promised he would save her, promised he'd save everyone, so he wasn't going to let her go. "F...forgive me Coco." He said before (carefully) Slamming his large fist into the back of her head to knock her out. He would have to find Vanna and Eilwen too...

Eirian had closed their eyes, just for a second, and rested. They vaguely heard their name called but it felt like it wasn't their name. It didn't matter, anyways... Probably.

It really wasn't more than five minutes before Eirian opened their eyes again. The commotion going on outside the auditorium probably woke them. Eirian cast a disgruntled look at the doors before hearing their name shouted. They smiled as they saw Chervil moving closer. "Hey, Chervil, Fio." The smile dropped when he mentioned their wing.

They had forgotten, just for a second, about their wing. Eirian turned to look at the damage. The wing was a shredded mess. Thoughts raced through their head. They wondered how their mother would react to seeing her only winged-child looking like this. What would the fey side of their family think? Would anyone ever be able to see Eirian as something more than a damaged wing?

Chervil's hand on their shoulder startled them. His kindness was almost too much. "Y-yeah, maybe it can be... I, uh, can't walk that well right now. My wings helped with my balance..." Eirian coughed, trying to keep their voice from breaking.

Then Chervil voiced what Eirian had thought earlier with a genuine smile. Eirian tried their best to mirror his expression, but they could tell it fell through. Instead they nodded. "Mhm. It's done."

Aedus had been unable to get Niamh he passed out on the floor bleeding and hurt, it seemed hopeless. He prayed to the nine that someone would stop Niamh from leaving so she could be cured so he didn't lose her forever. If he did lose her forever his heart would be broken. The one person Aedus truly cared about gone. Aedus hadn't thought of his parents for a while, but he would have to think about them sooner or later. Aedus didn't know that they had been killed by the cannibals. Aedus would never forgive or accept the cannibals no matter what happened in the future.
