Super MeissaMeissa was done. Instead of actively hunting for what needed to be caught she had instead climbed up into the nearest tree to just watch the chaotic hunt play out. Her mind instead was trying to keep up with everything that was going on back on Earth. There was a modicum of doubt creeping into her mind that she had overplayed her hand against Beatrix and now was living on what seemed to be borrowed time.
Raising a hand to her chest Meissa sighed before lowering it once more and instead closed her eyes to the hunt going on down below. For now, wouldn't it simply be better to utilize her time here on Cybele to simply relax given that it was sort of like one last vacation outing as a white moon senshi.
There was also the thought percolating that there were people here she could approach to help with her situation, but was it right to involve them now? If someone else got hurt what was the point?
Closing her eyes Meissa drifted off into a restless slumber ... although still light enough to be aware of situational changes going on around her.

IllyriaPerhaps catnapping under a bush wasn't the smartest move but the Mauvian had enjoyed the respite. Uncurling out of her rolled up ball Illyria yawned before wondering if more sleep was simply the right decision to make. It was that decision that she was wrangling with when the sounds of footsteps interrupted her thought process and she darted out of the brush that had concealed her form. Upon stopping a short distance away from the one that had intruded, more than likely by mistake, Illyria told her racing heart to calm down and to not simply chew out the super senshi that was now standing nearby.
From the apparent lack of weariness Illyria had witnessed on others in the hunt it seemed as this individual was taking their own pace at the hunt and thus conserving their energy reserves for when it truly mattered. Interesting. For now though, Illyria was more interested in this newcomer and she dipped her head in recognition before she edged closer before staring up at this unknown senshi for a long moment before she simply decided on being charming. With hope in her heart that she simply didn't get gently swatted aside, Illyria tried to twine around Beira's legs before reaching up to gently hook her claws into the senshi's leggings, "Hello," she chirruped up at him.

Eternal Myrrha Having simply no luck in her pursuit of ideas to lure a hunted animal to her, Myrrha kicked at a pile of dirt before she had to simply grin at the fact that unlike fair maidens that were used to lure unicorns to their demise in folk legends, this jackalope seemed keen to rebuff any attempt that would be detrimental to its ensuing freedom. Deep down Myrrha couldn't blame the creature either. If it had been set free after being caught by the senshi of this world, would it not crave being free for as long as it could stay that way?
It would also explain why, even with so many individuals hunting it, it continued to elude everyone.
"You certainly are one determined specimen of your species to have eluded capture for so long, I applaud your efforts."
That said, Myrrha still couldn't help but ascertain that she still needed to try and track down their target and win the hunt, but maybe now she'd move at a more relaxed pace again. There was no sense in giving up or giving in to more radical measures in order to win, but the desire to win was still strong.

Squire IrkallaThis hunt was beginning to show the strain on Irkalla's patience. Sure, it was all meant to be fun, but the competitiveness of some of the individuals that she had witnessed bordered on the absurd. She couldn't deny that switching to hunting plants was something more up her alley than hunting something that was currently eluding everyone, which was more likely the point. At least with the plant aspect of her personal hunt, it allowed her to get a closer look at the diversity of life on this planet. Currently Irkalla was gently plucking flowers from a flowering bush and trying to achieve long enough stems that she could create her own little Cybele based flower crown to wear when the hunt was truly over. If she couldn't make an entire crown of twisted flower stems then at least some of the blooms could instead be intertwined with her own hair ornament. The true nature of the hunt hadn't exactly sat right with the Cosmos Squire, but at least she could say that she had made an effort to partake. Quote: Opening up interaction with Irkalla who is currently in a clearing designing flower crowns, if anyone wants to join her.

Erytheia scanned the field before him. If he couldn’t rely on the purple ribbon among the flowers, he’d have to use some other visual clue to find it. But what? He tried to look for its body, but there were too many natural shades that anything similar to the jackalope that it made that difficult. ✪

Oh wow, oh wow, oh woooow! She’d never seen anything like it! A princess’ world! There were a couple glimpses before the arm wrestling competition, but being set loose in the woods was a completely different adventure! Zero wasn’t gonna wait, she didn’t want to! Miros had double the legs she had, so he could keep up even if Zero tried to run away. “Don’t fall behind, lazy kitty!” Her voice called back as her bonded pleaded with her to not go so far ahead. It was okay to get lost here, she thought. No need for Miros to be right next to her. Someone would be around!
And someone was!
Miros’ friend, by the sound of it.
A knight like Daddy and Papa, but different symbols than their worlds. Someone Miros had helped! Antisana, her kitty said. It was a strange name, but a lot of knights had strange names, and she wasn’t going to be rude by saying so. Zero thought it might be rude to just say they wanted to look for the jackalope by themselves, too, even though it was true… she didn’t really want or need anyone to help her. But she didn’t want to be mean to Miros’ friend.
“It’s nice to meet you, Mister Knight!” She said instead. “Are you looking for the bunny? It’s not around here! Zero has to look somewhere else, but I guess you can come too, if you want.”

Maybe if Hierapolis stood still enough, he could be mistaken for a tree. He was tall enough, lanky enough. Maybe if he were a tree the Jackalope would take no notice of him hop right on by, and he could grab it and end this trial.
Oh, but then eyes would be on him for having grabbed the prized critter. Suddenly he wasn't so keen on actually finding it anymore....

His interactions with children were few and far between, and if Antisana was being completely honest, he wasn't looking to change that anytime soon. His gaze flicked up and out through the trees, now hoping to see an adult even more than he cared to see a jackalope, but Nope. Neither. Just the chibi Senshi and the cat, approaching him with obvious intent to have some sort of interaction.
Antisana wasn't sure he'd ever been more uncomfortable.
"I remember you," he answered Mirosnjha in a quiet grumble. It hadn't been that long since they'd last greeted each other. Perhaps a year? At another large assembly like this. And Antisana would be hard-pressed to forget the only Guardian he'd ever met. It helped that the huge gray Siberian was probably the largest cat he'd ever laid eyes on. And the heaviest he'd ever carried. Though, in all of their previous meetings, Miros had been alone. Now there was a young girl with him. And she was not shy. "A pleasure to meet you, as well..."
It wasn't, but even Antisana knew he shouldn't say as much to a... six? Seven-year-old? She looked so tiny. Too tiny to have any business being a Senshi, but that was hardly a distinction he had any business making. Mirosnjha (or someone like him) should've made it. And why would a space cat care about something as insignificant as human ages?
"Mm... Did you come here with just Miros? You seem a little too young to be allowed to wander strange forests with just a cat to keep you safe..."

Dering, Squire of Lysithea
“Um–no, I think–whoever she was looking for must be the popular one. I don’t know any of these people. Maybe I should put my hat away,” he said, and reached up hesitantly to remove it from his head, but–
Oh, Reims had definitely seen something! Dering saw it, too!
His nerves were high, and he didn’t know if it was because the jackalope was right there or if it was because there was so much movement around him or if it was just him.
Creeping towards the bush, he stayed close to Reims. Maybe he shouldn’t have been so loud–not that he was speaking above a whisper, but it wasn’t like the jackalope wasn’t going to hear him. He couldn’t ever be that quiet. “Have you seen anyone you recognized? I feel like I don’t know anyone. But that's okay! I’m really glad you’re here, Reims. What are you doing after all of this? Do you--um, you can say no, but do you want to catch up? I want to hear what you've been up to.”

Super Sailor PerditaPerdita’s wave had only just ended when Connie made the introductions.
“Hi, it’s nice to meet you,” she said quietly so as not to interrupt Connie’s rambling. Perdita liked the rambling. It was sweet, and it meant she didn’t have to struggle to keep the conversation going. Connie could do that easily enough on her own. Perdita was just happy to have company instead of standing around like the odd one out.
She laughed lightly at Connie’s dramatics, all thoughts of finding the jackalope gone for the moment.Kyuseisha no Hikari I realized you hadn't pre-rolled for Belmont before I did my three again. crying Idk where my brain was at.

Super Sailor Ymir“I couldn’t judge it any more harshly than I did before,” Ymir said. His voice did not contain much emotion. He didn’t let himself think of the past any more than he had to, which meant he didn’t let himself feel much of it either. “We did what we could for Alastor and now the Chaos there is gone. Surtur isn’t lost yet. And Alastor owes you now. He can do the hammering. I’ll supervise.”
Ymir came to a stop when he heard a sound that wasn’t voices or footsteps. Some of the foliage rustled. He thought he saw the jackalope again, but before he could do more than point it out to Surtur it had disappeared.

Transcended Princess Eternal Sailor Ganymede“Henry can come since he knows,” Ganymede agreed, “but none of the others yet. They don’t know about the war, and I want us to keep it that way if we can.”
Every once in a while she would make an effort to search for the jackalope, but for the most part Ganymede put all of her attention into Eupheme. They hadn’t been searching long and there was no telling how lengthy the search would be, or if the jackalope would ever actually be found. Ganymede had forgotten to ask what would happen if that were the case.
“I’ve only brought three people to Ganymede with me,” she continued. “Europa, Oberon and Valhalla.” It was strange to refer to Valhalla by his name in conversation with Eupheme, but Ganymede thought it was better that way. She didn’t want Eupheme getting into the habit of calling Valhalla Daddy. “I went with a Page named Yvoire to his wonder, but technically he brought me that time, so I don’t think it counts. I’ve never had a need to bring a lot of people before.”

Mechelen Squire of Lysithea Mechelen was happy to actually find her friend and she launched herself at him for a momentary hug, and then drew away at the sound of rustling...and...
"Wait, it's got a purple ribbon, yeah?"
She could have sworn she just saw a flash of purple but...
"I think I saw the other Squire too! He looked nice, he was with another Page of some kind, but I was too focused on finding you to ask for names or anything...hopefully I'll have the chance to meet them later!" Hopefully they would all get a chance to be friends. "And maybe...maybe Lysiteha herself is just our age? That is possible, right?"

Beira, Super Senshi of Loneliness
It was difficult to sense any particular energy signature, so Beira was very unaware that he was right by the Mauvian until she popped out from the bush. “Oh, hello there.” He didn’t fuss when she stretched up his legs. He didn’t feel her claws and they didn’t tear the fabric of his outfit so he had no reason to fuss.
Although, instinctively, he crouched down to be closer to her. He might have been able to hear her if he’d stood but there were people moving around and he could hear voices all around them so he didn’t want to miss what she might have said.
“I’m Beira, it’s nice to meet you.” He spoke softly, fondly, and reached a hand out like he might have intended to scratch behind her ear but was waiting for permission. “What were you doing in there?”
…She looked like she’d just woken up from a cat nap, was she participating in the hunt or was she just in the wrong place at the wrong time?”

Super Sailor SurturSurtur nodded along in understanding. Ymir had a point, of course. He knew what they’d done to him now. He knew what they’d both been involved in, and he knew he’d been too idealistic back then to realize there was something wrong.
But now they had a chance to move forward and hopefully any healing that they work towards, even if it was just their worlds, it would help heal them as well.
“We’ll definitely need something to supervise,” he agreed with a quiet chuckle as he lifted a hand to thoughtfully stroke at his beard.
“You saw it, didn’t you? It’s an elusive creature. I am impressed by its ability to evade so many predators. Even though harm is not intended towards it.”
