Character name: Sailor AlbireoFaction: Corrupted Senshi still Rank: Eternal What are they doing now? Albireo doesn't really do much. She puts in appearances when she has to, but other than that...she stays off to the side of the Negaverse regime, just like she had prior to the take over. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? She is still dating Jarosite, but other than that, nothing much has happened. Her hair has grown out again.

Character name: Stara MaslinaFaction: Stara was recently corrupted into the Negaverse from knighthood. Rank: General What are they doing now? Stara specializes in subturfuge and covert tactics, though she spends most of her time toying with those present in prisons or others newly brought to the side of the Negaverse. Given her background in psychology, Stara will engage any known manipulative tactic to steer an individual toward intended mental results. She is not above using sexuality or other means to garner the response she wants. She also possesses an unusual youma that often clings to the bottom hem of her skirt. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Most of Stara's personality fragmented to extreme degrees when she was corrupted for the protection of another of her fellow knights. She still suffers great pains from the damage incurred at that time, and thus struggles to manage it with analgesics of any sort she can obtain.

Character name: Eternal Sailor NyxFaction: Order, no change. Rank: Eternal What are they doing now? Moved to The Shadows division at the start of the meta, formerly Mainstay. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Harper has entirely thrown herself into being Sailor Nyx, only taking up her civilian identity to run secret reconnaissance when necessary. Living on the outskirts of Destiny City with the refugees and the Order camps, she has pushed her family and any non-Order friends away for their own best interests. Given the current circumstances, she believes her family is safer as Negaverse sympathizers, as long as corruption is prevented. After a particularly nasty run in with two generals on the battlefield, a quarter of her face on the left side is marred with scars from a combination of magical and physical means, as well as having destroyed her ability to hear in that ear. She usually wears some light protective gear around that side of her head and does not shy away from battle, but does feel she is more suited to her new Shadows division placement for… particular reasons. Character name: Eternal Sailor TethysFaction: Order, no change. Rank: Eternal What are they doing now? The Watchers Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Not much and on purpose! Sekani has basically gone deep into his civilian life to funnel intel, at the sacrifice of his senshi training and any further connections. He doesn’t even like to go out at night anymore, because the moon is a big lying liar. He still maintains his online show and has a part time job at a local donut shop.

Character name: Shale Blackwell / UmberFaction: Negaverse Rank: General What are they doing now? Negaverse SpecOps; Umber frequently and consistently tries to uncover the location of the hideaway Order camp. When he is not hunting around with whichever accomplices he ropes into the act, Shale frequents the outside forests under the guise of hunting. Umber still adheres staunchly to Negaverse orders and rulings, and has developed far more resistance to any attempts to convince him otherwise. While he does not actively try to murder non-transcended senshi, he has no qualms about killing those with the bright markings. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Since ascending the ranks, Umber lost a lot of his restraint when dealing with difficult people or situations. He now always resides just on the cusp of anger and frequently treats people in a flippant and impatient manner. Any civilian-based activity is perceived as an inconvenience as it steals him away from attempting to find the senshi camp. He isolates heavily now, and finds no problems with it. Any time Shale spends out of uniform is often devoted to hunting, which is essentially another reason to go looking for the camp again. Some years earlier, during his captaincy, Shale learned through newspaper clippings that his home burned to the ground, and upon visiting his old town, found evidence that his brother perished in the flames. Further investigation led him to believe that the fire was intentionally set, likely by those he bonded most closely with, and afterward Shale never allowed himself time to come to terms with the loss of his entire old life. Instead he grew all the more devoted to the Negaverse, their cause, and most importantly, Metallia. After killing his first transcended senshi, Shale completed tattooing his second hunter's mark. Other tattoos soon found real estate on his leg as he tracked the number of deaths racked up during his tenure in the Negaverse. Umber fosters a special interest in half-youma and ascended officers, as they house a certain tragedy that he cannot fully understand. He often enjoys cooking them proper dinner, as he figures the general populace has not yet fully acclimated to the appearance of a monstrous officer. He will, however, show them a lot more friendliness due to their eternal entrapment within the Negaverse ranks. Shale is also missing part of his large intestine because of a skewering attempt executed earlier in his career. While bearing a hefty scar, Umber must also eat more often as he is missing that tract for the normal absorption period for food. It's also more difficult for him to maintain muscle mass because of the decreased nourishment, so he is not as strong as he used to be, or as able to endure. This only feeds his personal frustrations, and causes him to push himself harder than he ever did previously. As a result, he has collapsed on the job on more than one occasion.

Character name: Rhys Banner // Ploutonion of SaturnFaction: Knight Rank: Transcendent Knight What are they doing now? Ploutonion primarily keeps to himself, though he is a regular presence around camp and certainly in the camp kitchens. He also spends a large amount of time on his Wonder, to the point where he is regularly exhausted from space travel. He hopes that he will eventually be able to "brute-force" his way past the Gates, because surely if this isn't the "darkest hour" they were sealed for, nothing is. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Rhys's parents have permanently resettled in England, and he has moved entirely to the camp. Rhys Banner, in fact, barely exists except that Ploutonion cannot be powered up all the time.

Character name: Arthur Quinton // Havasu Falls of PlutoFaction: Knight Rank: Knight What are they doing now? Havasu doesn't patrol a lot now, he appears occasionally for fights or in one of the safe houses but he acts primarily as a sponser Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Quinn's folks died in one of the first attacks of the war leaving him alone to run the family corporation.... after a time of denying this responsibility he picked it up and is now a major sponser for the resistance, its not like he is hurting for cash. ~~~~ Character name: Jessica Haze // Pompeii of SaturnFaction: Knight Rank: Knight What are they doing now? She is a mainstay. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Her folks died and her store was destroyed... Pompeii went a bit bonkers and flipped out. Once she was able to be talked down from her 'destroy all nega's' fit she became a member of the mainstay and is now one massively scary fighter... no one destroys her books without getting the s**t kicked out of them. She does not fear death, torture, or capture. She is just looking for a fight.

Character name: Ezra Cadwell | Sailor Cor Caroli (Post-Corruption civilian name: Emil Sevrens) Faction: Negaverse- Corrupt Senshi Rank: Corrupt Eternal What are they doing now? When not sleeping and generally being super-avoidant, Cor Caroli manages some surveillance endeavors for the Negaverse and gets pushed around to various missions for the Intelligence branch of the Negaverse. Sometimes he is also called in to use his will-draining powers in battle or (most often) on unruly prisoners to keep them down. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? When the world went to hell, Cor Caroli got serious and started making himself useful. He came to realize the power of his magic and how important maintaining a strong will was in these darkening days. He would drift around the Mainstay, helping to strengthen the people around him with his magic even if he wasn’t the best front-line fighter. Sometimes, he would even use his magic on people out of battle to give them a brief boost of willpower and motivation. He was a staunch believer in freedom of choice and the power of a strong will, and he despised the Negaverse for effectively strangling both in Destiny City. The impassioned impromptu speeches he gave when he got really worked up were an often-discussed topic around the headquarters (sometimes with praise, sometimes with ridicule). Such a state would not last forever. About two years ago, on an escort mission to protect a refugee, Cor Caroli’s party was ambushed by a disproportionately large Negaverse troop. Nearly everyone in the party was captured; though he fought till he dropped (almost literally), Cor Caroli was unable to save himself or his comrades. He was brought to the Negaverse headquarters and imprisoned, kept chained up in a dingy cell. For a while, he received no “official” visits; mostly Lieutenants and Captains coming to sneer at him and rile him up and occasionally smack him around. After a little over a week of languishment, General-Queen Sakuradite stepped into his cell and informed him that everyone else in his escort party, including the person the party was supposed to protect, had died in Negaverse custody. Though severely weakened from draining and maltreatment, Cor Caroli continued to snarl and spit at the General-Queen until the very last moment, when she stuck her hand in his chest. She forced her blackness into his soul, and that was it. Corrupt Eternal Cor Caroli awoke in significantly more comfortable surroundings, tucked neatly into a bed somewhere in the headquarters. Outside, he heard his guards discussing how ironic it was that the Senshi of Will was force-corrupted. It was then he realized that he barely knew who he was. His name was missing from his mind; his civilian memories had been obliterated during his corruption, along with some arbitrary chunks of his powered memories. He did remember enough to know that he had been completely undermined. What good was all that talk of a strong will and freedom of choice when a force existed that could completely overturn it? It was clear: Sakuradite had corrupted him to make a point that the Negaverse could subvert any will they wanted, even the will of the one who stood for Will itself. With everything he stood for pulled out from underneath him, Cor Caroli’s personality underwent a drastic change. The good cheer, comedy, and passion that characterized him before his corruption had been snuffed out and replaced with an empty passivity and depression. He could barely enjoy the simple pleasures that brought him joy before; there was a point where he was almost got sick from not eating. His powers reversed in function; they now drained will to fight and increased pain from attacks. Nowadays, Cor Caroli spends a lot of time asleep, trying to avoid dealing with the day as long as he can. Sometimes, he remembers flickers of a purple-clad Knight, and they give him a brief warmth that dissolves into a painful longing that he cannot stand. He remembers some of those times, but not as many as he would like, and while he knows the Knight’s name, the emotions attached to the memories are too much to bear in his current state. With his pervasive emptiness, he is left wondering what it is to live a life. (Mentions of Sakuradite and Ploutonion used with Song's permission.)

Character name: Camlann Knight of Saturn (Irinei Lazarev) Faction: Order Rank: Third What are they doing now? Camlann is a Watcher, though a shitty one. Too independent to really be effective, he mostly hangs out with other 'revolutionary' artists and painters and only occasionally passes anything of worth to the rest of the resistance. Unfortunately, he's an artist, and one who sort of thrives off not really being the gallery type (anymore), so he's useless as a Sponsor. He tends to avoid henshining up, as Eyes Are Everywhere, but otherwise? Not very cautious about making his views known. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? For Camlann, the point of timeline deviation is before he even awakened. Instead of corrupting into the Negaverse, he awakened as a knight and was successfully able to drive off Revaillite and Laemmline with the help of his sister Damijana. He still came to Destiny City, but as Camlann rather than as Melanite.
Unfortunately, the Negaverse takeover came before the completion of his residency. Irinei finished it out and promptly disappeared into the seedy underworld of completely illegal immigrants and political radicals, where he has been ever since. His sister, unfortunately, still kicked it--but several years later, at the hands of (soooomebody).

He has taken it upon himself to protect Benitoite's secret or take it to the grave with him. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? He was forcefully corrupted by General King Benitoite two years ago after a bloody fight between them. Powering down after losing consciousness Benitoite realizes he had been fighting his boyfriend of almost three years and instead of killing him, he corrupts Slird into the negaverse ranks. Character name: Sailor Sheikh // Slade Ehnes (formerly Ochre // Slate Blackwell) Faction: He purified! Sheikh is now a White Moon senshi. Rank: Eternal What are they doing now? Sheikh is now a member of the Mainstay, using his memories about his time in the Negaverse to benefit any operations. He tries to stay off the front lines when possible - his former status with the Negaverse promises a gruesome end if he risked capture. Shiekh spends his down time floating about the hospital, talking with some of the injured, and possibly harassing the hospital staff to try to liven their mood. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Most of Ochre's Negaverse career ran middling, with his presence neither particularly beneficial or cumbersome. He climbed the ranks out of necessity more than anything - having stuck dutifully to his quotas, the steadiness of his work earned promotions when the Negaverse needed men to fill higher roles. He never learned to like youma, and often paired his patrols with his brother to avoid their presence. His growing displeasure with the Negaverse heightened when his brother, anger piqued from many frustrations and failings, struggled immensely with the temptation to allow youma to devour Ochre's starseed. Minutes passed in the standstill before he finally ordered the youma to leave, which left Ochre shaken and irreparably distrustful. He met Hvergelmir during his days as a super senshi. At the time she still retained her tongue, and was patient and steadfast in convincing him to shirk his duties and resume life as a White Moon senshi. Further falling out with his brother finally pushed him toward the inevitable, and Ochre became Super Sailor Sheikh. Sometime afterward, he encountered Umber again, who promptly skinned off the tattoo from his face. Initially Sheikh wasn't keen on joining up with the White Moon side of the war, preferring to remain a civilian for a full year to become reacquainted with his new life. He met and started dating a woman, who he later discovered was a knight, who finally persuaded him to rejoin the fight. They became engaged after a time, though a particularly bloody ambush left his fiancee dead. Burying her by way of tradition on his planet fulfilled the last vestiges for him to transcend. Since then, Sheikh prefers to keep his company at arm's length. He hasn't yet reached the point where he could let others in.

Character name: Hyperborea Faction: Negaverse Rank: Third stage, General (gonna corrupt in the first RP) What are they doing now? She's been trying to fight back against Chaos. However she is cold and calculating about it. Recently she's been starting to believe that the side of Order stood no chance of survival, and she's been considering approaching the Negaverse Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Both of her parents and her dog Arthur were brutally murdered by a Youma on the night she upgraded to Squire. After that Hyperborea became distant and colder. She began to shut out her emotions, though rage still got out. Within a year she became a knight, by this point she had learned to cover up her coldness with snark and a carefree attitude that belied how serious she had become. When the holes began to open up and so many people died Hyperborea shut down completely. She began to calculate every decision she made, let one innocent die to save two. Choices she never thought she would make she now does easily. Soon enough though this calculating mind set left her doubting that her effort would do anything to help so long as she was a knight, she believed order was doomed to fall and that there was no avoiding it. So she's been considering approaching the Negaverse since she feels if she can do no good for the current world as a knight maybe she can do some good for what world is left after the war ends as a Negaverse agent.

Character name: ScholomanceFaction: Knight Rank: Squire What are they doing now? Isaiah lives a low-key life in the city, where he regularly donates to Negaverse-affiliated institutions. He seldom powers up, as his experiences with his wonder left him increasingly fearful of the purpose it might have for him as a knight. He sold his business about a year ago, and has been living off the proceeds and investments since then. When he did so, he relinquished his neutrality in the war. Unfortunately, the burden of being a Saturn knight left him largely unable to mobilize his pro-order views. Isaiah regularly visits Lorne, as the sole friend he's managed to keep in the five long years. He knows it's a bleak life, but he plans on shifting that in the future. Any big/important things that have happened to the character during the past five years that you'd like to share? Things will be released as they are written!
