Heh, I guess that is true! I'm just really happy because i put up the first section on DA, and one of friends who is completely unfamiliar is beginning to like the protagonist... who is female. This makes me happy, as a lot of female protagonists don't always turn out so well in fiction.

@Eylios: Awesome! I know what you mean by that. Score one for you!
PMS: xD I know what you mean. Puns, horrid gags done intentionally, they're riddled all over the place. Unfortunately, I can't think of another pun to add to this post.

I find it ironic that in all I've written of my story so far, there's been, like, two mentions of magic, tops. Despite, you know, this being a story that takes place in a magical world with phoenixes and griffins, where almost everyone has some sort of unique power, and the planet is alive and sentient and planning a one-sided war...

I'm around 6k in, haha... I have to do it all on the computer, as my goal is 100k, and computers make me physically ill to be at (especially mine, for whatever reason), so getting my daily word count out is freaking hard. e_e It's a mere 3,334 word count each day, and I'm so freaking sick that I can barely crunch out a few hundred at a time. *grimaces*
Iiii haaaate computerrrrrss.......

That's happened to me before especially if I haven't been on the computer in a while. It gives me some sort of sickness where I feel like I have the stomach flu and I'm -extremely- dizzy -- it's hard to even walk to the bathroom which is right around the corner. @_____@! But those are pretty rare nowadays. I still hate them! Maybe turn down your monitor's shiny...ness? Only did another 5k today making 15,700 words. Soooo lazy today. srsly Sugar: Do I sound crazy that I really DO want to try and do the million words in a month thing at some point? gonk I am crazy!

A million in a month is streching it, but if you can do 100k in 30 days, then a million a year isn't too far a strech. smile

You know what the stretch would be? Finding a plot that would take a million words to write about- unless you made it, like, three books in one. Even then. Eish. That would bother me to no end. xD
I've never heard of computers making people sick! That sounds horrible! o.O Jeez, that definitely is not happiness in a bottle.

I don't have the attention span for a mil words. I can get up to a couple hundred thousand, but even that's stretching it.

And that is the bigger problem. Attention span.
Speaking of which, out of curiosity, if a human eats a zombie, would it be considered cannibalism?

I've never heard of computers making people sick! That sounds horrible! o.O Jeez, that definitely is not happiness in a bottle. The people who do it on nano are ones that make four or more books (so 250k for one and then 250k for another etc.) Crazy but wow! What an accomplishment! Buuut it also could be dangerous because of carpel tunnel syndrome. @_____@ Almost halfway done uggggh. crying Also, I think it's cannibalism. heh

Cheshire - I think it would be considered cannibalism. The human is still a human, despite the metamorphic properties zombyism does.
Are you doing a zombie apocalypse?

@Sevi: Yeah, those people are crazy dedicated. xD I have minor carpal tunnel, so there's no way I could pull it off. Also, congrats on being halfway there!
(And apparently it's a widely discussed thing- everyone seems to think differently. Because of morals, maybe?)
@Aurin: No, I'm not writing it- my best friend is. That was our answer too, but then it's morphed and such, and a zombie is chemically a different entity than a human. I think. Even then, a zombie eating a human is considered cannibalism, so therefore it must be the same the other way around, right? It kinda just goes back and forth on that. We've been debating it for a while, since it's a theme in her story and a question that came up in mine.

Cheshire - That was kind of my logic, since it is frequently considered to be cannibalism for a zombie to eat a human. It did cross my mind when I was answering. Zombies are people-ish enough for me.
Good luck to your best friend, then! I did zombies for my NaNo last year. It was a blast! I kind of miss it. Hopefully my aliens will measure up to them this year.
