Meanwhile in the gist of all that was happening, Akarui made her way to her seat very quietly. Given that the atmosphere was clearly very...very...numbing, she figured that something serious must have been announced. She fidgeted in her seat with reluctance and regret for being so late, for she didn't even know what her input on the situation should be.
The captain saw faces she'd never seen before and made a mental reminder to greet them when she got the chance.

Watching as the captains went back and forth about how to deal with the time rogues, Xero wondered whether it would be okay to put in his input. While he didn't actually agree with any of their ideas, his weren't much better. His solution was just to go in, beat up the time rogues, and walk out with all that blood they stole. Their were 50 or so shinigami afterall. Maybe send in the top 13 or 14 and ride in Rambo style. What else did they have all those numbers for?
Listening to the captain's talk of "protecting" someone from the time rogues, Xero was immediately against it. "By protecting," Xero commented, "do you mean imprisoning? 'Cus that sounds like what you're leaning towards." Despite his words, Xero shrugged indifferently afterwards. Whether they went through with the plan or not, he didn't really care. Turning his attention back to Haruko, Xero heard him talking about the great Ash War and just sat back again to listen. His informants had only mentioned something that happened in the past, never actually going in depth about it. So he was all ears.
"So wait, even the big captain couldn't beat them. And they've probably gotten stronger since then..." Xero couldn't help smiling at the thought. "This'll be epic." Xero could already imagine all the mass destruction and chaos their war could call. Sure it might have some casualties, but it would be an awesome fight. Xero was just shaking in anticipation.
And then one of the royal guards spoke up. Her idea was to just kill them and be done with it. While Xero wouldn't have voiced it that way, it was still the idea he had in mind. And when Captain Roka tried to put it off as mass murder or something, he actually thought he was being soft. What else did they have all those swords and stuff for besides killing. And just letting them go after beating them down would only lead to retaliation. Would you really want to fight an enemy for years to come just because you didn't want to kill them the first time around. "I'm with guard person. Let's just go kick their asses and be done with it. If for anything else, we could call it a 'rescue' mission."

Once done healing her former sensei, Shu remained silent, as she moved over to her seat along with Samui and listened to what the others had to say. She was still taken back from what Atushiko had to say about everything he saw back in Euthoria, but she was still bothered by the fact that her sensei decided to stay behind. Shu just couldn't grasp why she decided to stay behind and have him leave without her.
She admittedly wasn't happy with Atushiko, but she couldn't blame him. Besides, the information he was sharing was rather useful for the shinigami. Though she noticed that everyone started to speculate about this all and the remaining sacrifices, or 'sins' as everyone else was calling them. Shu personally decided to stay out of it for the most. She felt that it was important that the higher ups spoke their minds and more importantly, figure out what the hell they were going to do to solve this problem.
When Houmei spoke, Shu's attention was turned over to her's, as she could agree with what she had to say. Although Shu was born long after the Time Rogue's were defeated, she read a great amount of them in the Fourth Division's library and from the history books. Plus, hearing the first hand accounts from both her parents did give her a rather informed mindset about the Time Rogues. They weren't a threat to negotiate with, let alone show mercy towards, and she didn't like the notion of trying to show mercy towards them.
"I have to agree with Houmei. Those individuals have brought nothing but chaos and destruction to whatever is in their way. Look at the the World of the 'Living'. That place used to be thriving with life all around and things were going well for the human race, but once they arrived? We have yet to have a report of humans found in the World of the Living over the course of three hundred years."
Pausing, Shu was starting to let her emotions get the best of her, as she then remained shut, as he heard what the others had to say. She noticed that Xero spoke and seemed to be taking this all rather lightly, as she frowned down upon him and sighed. "Is he for real?" Though she heard his last remark about a rescue mission, as all of her attention was drawn towards the prospect of a mission.
Turning to Kokoro, Shu asked with some curiousity. "So Commander Tennyou, if you don't mind me asking, how are we going to rescue Nocella from the grasp of the Time Rogues exactly?" Speaking with a concerned tone, Shu was worried for her sensei and wondered just what was happening to her back in the world of the Time Rogues and if there was any hope of rescuing her.

Kono was still aimlessly twirling Anya's hair around her finger when the cat-woman mentioned Koko scolding her for being in her child form. To this Kono simply shrugged and pushed her lips off to one side."As long as Houmei isn'gonna, I'll be o-"" Kono's sentence fell short of its conclusion when a vortex-portal ripped open within the Council Room. From it, a man fumbled bloodied and worn. Houmei was upon the portal within seconds, her blade drawn and released into Shikai. Kono would have believed she did the act spontaneously juxtaposed with its creation with how quickly she sudden appeared there - that is if Kono had not been Shunshin in her own right.
Regardless, she felt Mei's Reiatsu pour over the room. She was surprised by how many still stood in its wake. Perhaps they were more impressive than she gauged. She doubted this thought, but it still passed her. Amaranth threw a Kidō over the portal shortly after Mei was before it, encasing it within an icy blue aura. Kono scrambled over herself as she tried to step out from behind Anya. Tripping over herself, she fell face first onto the floor and laid still. She was soaking in her embarrassment. Surly being the former 2nd Division Captain would keep her from being clumsy. Apparently as a child, it did not.
As Kono lifted herself from the ground and padded off her dress - adjusting it so as to not show her bloomers - there was talk about who the man was. Captain Haruko, of the 11th Division, who was upon the list of POA's mentioned earlier. Strange, Kono thought, that the Kenpachi was so easily reduced to the state he arrived in. What was the point of being a Kenpachi if you could not defend against little brats. Kono felt conflicted with the thought of calling the Rogues brats, being that she was one herself - in this moment, at the very least.
She soon brushed it off as the healing began and the Captain began to talk about the trials and tribulations of being in Euthoria. His story was rather interesting, what with the mentions of blood sacrifices and the like. Everyone seemed to be caught off guard by this. It should not be said that Kono was not surprised or disinterested, she simply did not voice it - what good would it lead too? As the talk progressed, there came mention of keeping those who would serve to be next away from engaging with the rogues. To the statement Roka made, Kono's face scrunched to confusion."If they already nabbed three of ya' and killed a captain, why would having them on lock down help solve that?"While Kono simply spoke in a whisper, merely mumbling to herself - and Anya, somewhat - Mei broke through the chatter with a strong, eloquent voice.
Much like Kono would have thought about doing things, Mei suggested simply striking them down instead of trying to hide from them. It did not take long for Roka to riposte, inferring that some were innocent. Kono pursed her mouth at the mans brevity before it fell open just so."He is gonna get iiiit..."As luck would have it, Mei decided to humor him and scolded him justly. She turned to Koko to see if she agreed, hoping that she would not reflect the same ignorance Roka did. Kono would speak if need be, but she knew when it was not prudent.

Having heard the various comments following Atsuhiko's report, Kokoro merely remains quiet amongst the bickering. Her mind instead dwells on the report Haruko gave about the Rogue's intentions on once again activating the Hourglass. Seven sacrifices, seven sins, seven Shinigami used for a demonic goal of impossibility. Kokoro shakes her head at the thought. Her eyes go to the floating, digital screen which holds Kushina's case files. You'll never stop will you Tsukada? She crosses her legs and closes her eyes seeing her predecessor's face. I won't let your sacrifice be in vain Hatake-senpai. Her mind is immediately brought back to focus as the realization hits her. The Rogues must be at a halt. They have only targeted senior members of the Gotei Thirteen so far. First Ishtar, then Eun Ji, then Nocella, and finally Atsuhiko; all whom are dated to be present in the Gotei's early birth. Only a handful of officers today are senior members, so Kushina must be deciding the sacrifices herself. Of course; her Rogues would never be able to operate without her vast knowledge of the Thirteen. Roka speaks out to the group suggesting that more protection be added to those who might fit the sin.
Houmei, who had been silent the entire meeting, then spoke up to counter his suggestion with the simple method they followed during their Captaincy. Roka's response is to be expected; a man of the law is an immovable force. Feeling the situation escalating, Kokoro stands from her chair and taps her Zanpakuto's butt against the floor three times. "If we single out possible candidates amongst us, that opens up a floodgate of evil. Every man and woman sins, it's in our nature. For us, as the guards of death itself, to bestow sin on one of our own is a cruel act. So, Captain Gravellia, Lady Houmei is correct in her approach. Having battled these very beings once ago, this is the only way to permanently silence this evil. A seal won't hold them, not even a spell casted by Anya herself. We've learned this because we tried 300 hundred years ago, and to make the same mistake...that would be the end of us." she says calmly addressing Roka, Shu Feng, and Houmei directly. Her words are also aimed at her men.
"Ladies and gentleman, the time has come to stand and fight. Our duty is to protect the souls from evil; it's the gift the Soul King bestowed each and every one of us with. Our first means of attack will be to rescue Nocella Kurenai from her captures. While on this mission, we will be able to take an actual look into Euthoria ourselves. Captain Hidako herself will lead this small retrieval team along with Captain Tomoyo Samuramkai, Lieutenant Xero, Lady Taiyo Kono, and my guard Eun Ji. This team was chosen based on the tactical and speed factors needed to retrieve a subject. Since we have an actual link to Euthoria now, transport will be more accurate. Squad Twelve will be tasked to further observe and watch over the mission from the Research and Development Center. Seiretei is on high alert, Squad Six and Three will need to run a full sweep on the Human World. Squads Two, Nine, and Thirteen are to remain stationed along the walls of Seiretei. I will be stationed on Squad Twelve's grounds overseeing the mission myself. My Lieutenant will serve be open for communication if need be. These orders are to be set immediately, the recovery team will report to Captain Naoto's labs later today to proceed with the extraction."
Kokoro finishes moving down the stairs to the main level. Her officers follow suit, signalling the end of the meeting. The large doors open before the cloaked group as they exit to the royal hall.

Roka listnend to all of the words that surrounded him. Including the orders to stay within the walls. Although Roka disagreed with the statements and some of the orders that were given but being a man of law, he would respect the others opinion. Roka was mad but he did not show any aspect revealing so. Roka turned towards his Lt and spoke in his kind and elegant tone, " Please, come by my office. We can talk and ask some of those questions you inffered to earlier."
Roka then bowed slightly as he walked out of the hall. He kept his two normal eyes shut but his third eye open so he could see hid way out. As he walked his scarf blew gently in the breeze that his body had created. Roka just left the meeting hall with a new purpose. He would do everything to proctect those who surround him but what he truly desired was peace with all souls and he would do anything to accomplish that goal and get what he desired. Even if it killed him. With that Roka flash stepped to his office.

With his words said, Xero sat back in his chair again to see if there was going to be another back and forth. Debates were usually boring, but sometimes interesting things were said. And, considering what the meeting had been like so far, he was 90% sure he wouldn't be bored with the conversation. There was always a part of him that thought at any moment he'd suddenly loose all interest in the meeting. It had happened before and it was sure to happen sooner or later in the future.
But there wasn't a debate. Most of them agreed with Homei- that's what someone called her- and taking the fight to the time rogues. And that meant they agreed with Xero, too. "Score 1 for Team Pwn the Time Rogues." Sure it wasn't a contest to everyone else, but to Xero, everything was a competition...or at least could be turned into one. And when Captain Tennyou finally spoke up, Xero felt that his side won the non-competition.
She agreed with the idea of taking the fight to the time rogues, rescuing Nocella, and even sending out a small team, though they were a lot smaller than he expected. Still, the Captain might have wanted a covert operation, so having more people would have drawn more attention. Listening to the names she gave, Xero was overcame with excitement when he was put on the team. In his excitement, he turned to Tomoyo, forgetting that she was boring. "Alright! Hi-five captain!" And he'd just have his hand raised, as if Tomoyo would actually perform the hi-five.
"What, you just gonna leave me hanging? Fist bump then!" In the middle of this, though, Xero heard the Captain tell them to go to Captain Naoto's labs. And then she was leaving with everyone else. "Oh- looks like meeting's over. We can fist bump or hi-five later." Shrugging, Xero stood up to leave, offering Tomoyo a hand as she'd done before. "Looks like we'll have to finish that game some other time. Right now, it's time to go rogue hunting/shinigami rescuing." Grinning at the thought, Xero made his way out, expecting the Captain to follow for once.

Sasuke listened to the wise leader. His face was calm and collected, but his heart beat was fast as the coming times and future death's were putting him on edge. Would he die in this war? Would he fight a rouge? This surrounded his head. He felt relief rush over him when he was not named to go on the rescue mission, his new release was not mastered and therefore he felt he would be no match for them. He stood as the Head Captain stood in respect and once she was gone he shunpo'd and went to the Kido Hall for the meeting.

Listening to Akihiko disprove Tomoyo's statement wasn't very hard nor did it bother her. The fact of knowing that her mind was in the right place about it, was very pleasing, though she didn't show it. Her face stayed marble as she listened to the newfound information. She nodded to him. Seven Sins were needed and these Time Rogues only needed three more to complete their assignment. Who exactly they needed, was a complete mystery. After Akihiko's statements about which person was which sin, Eun Ji had chimed in asking about Captain Ishtar. Tomoyo knew the answer to that as soon as it was raised, shaking her head at the thought. He and the others that went, since they weren't mentioned, weren't needed so they were just disposed of. Simple as that.
The next issue that had arose, was; Could it be found out which person embodied which sin and could they be be stowed away? The answer to that was a no. There was no way that they could find that out unless every potential candidate had exposed their ENTIRE personality which was hard enough, let alone finding those potential candidates. It honestly could be anyone in this room. While she was in thought, her Lieutenant had said something that wasn't very knowledgable so she reacted by given him a swift elbow to the side and a cold stare alike before going back into thought. Everyone was talking so it would've been hard for any normal person to concentrate, but Tomoyo was able to sift through who was saying important information and who was speaking of nonsense.
Every possible situation that anyone else had thought of was complete insensible and utterly, for lack of a better word, stupid. That is until one of the Royal Guard members, Houmei Seiran, decided to give her input. Her idea was cutthroat and cut and dry. Nothing fancy except to destroy them, to which Tomoyo's face lit up. That was the only thing that could, in fact, be done. Nothing else would work. She spoke of the war the happened 300 years ago, hell Tomoyo wasn't even alive at that time! She was right about that one too, sealing them is a waste of time, only destroying them would suffice. Captain Graviella begged to differ though. He rebuked her statement with a strong sense of justice but only to be shot down once more by being called a child along with a swift tongue lashing by the the obviously veteran Royal Guard. Everyone seemed to agree with Houmei and so did her Lieutenant. With that, Xero spoke once more again, saying things a California surfer would say (Wait how'd she remember that?). So she elbowed him again. This time, not giving him a glance because her attention was diverted to the Captain-Commander who had called for attention of all members. She, in fact, believed that Homei was correct in this matter as well, making it a deal sealer. Tomoyo knew from that, that she was sending a team in for a search and rescue mission.
Search and Rescue type of missions weren't her favorite but of course the Squad 2 Captain would be chosen for a task like this, so it didn't even surprise Tomoyo that she would be picked. What was surprising, was that Xero was picked too. The meeting was adjourned as Commander Tennyou exited. Tomoyo shot Xero a glance to which he replied with a sheepish grin and his hand up asking for a high five from her. She didn't do so but finally when he offered the pound, she reluctantly did so, lightly tapping his fist with hers with a slight smile on her face. Xero then helped her up out of her seat by offering his hand as she had done to him sometime earlier. He then spout something about having to finish their game even later to which she responded with a bit of laughter. "Yeah I have plenty of time to think of which way I'm going to whoop your a**." She then followed him out. For the first, time in history, someone heard Tomoyo tell a joke...

So Eun Ji ended up on the rescue team hm? Well he couldn't exactly argue with the choices. It was a small enough team, although it felt too risky. What happened if the impossible came about and they were all wiped out? Eun Ji agreed with attempting to save Nocella, but he felt only one person should go. At least then there wouldn't be any major casualties. Still, it wasn't his call. He had his orders and some of the other Captains and Lieutenants, at least, those selected to be the infiltration team, seemed to be excited. He didn't know what to expect either. Eun Ji personally felt that such zeal could lead to problems once they were there. Then again, he could just be biased.
Shrugging, he stood up and looked at the others leaving. To Naoto's lab huh? Twelfth Division to kick things off. Well, best not be late. Eun Ji stepped down to the floor and then walked towards the door, tons of thoughts racing through his mind. Thoughts about what was happening, what could happen, and dealing with the Rogues, what had happened. Just one problem after the next, and this would likely be one of the hardest mission Eun Ji had been on. He hoped he was ready for it. [Exit]
But that doesn't mean I can't handle myself.

xxxSuke and Ai were still surprised by their brothers complete 180 in personality since he had gotten back. What had they done to him to make him change personalities so fast? He heard a royal guard member answer his question and flinched just lightly. Oops. He wasn't supposed to be overheard. Oh well. He listened as Kokoro ended the meeting and said who was going on the rescue mission. He wasn't surprised when him or Ai wasn't included. And he agreed with her choice when she stated her reason. Oh well. We couldn't all be a part of it or have the skills required for it. So instead, he just turned to his brother again. "Alright. So I suppose with this done, it's time for you to move to the U.H.C. Ai. You know where you need to go right?" He asked her and she nodded her head. "Yes Su. I need to go home and let mommy and daddy know that Atsu-Nii is alright." She said and he nodded his head, rubbing hers and kissing her forehead lightly. "Be careful going home. Try and stay out of others way and don't let anyone touch you." He told her and she nodded her head, Shunpoing out at a decent pace to keep herself from tiring out so quickly. With Ai gone, Suke looked around at the people who had stayed and waited to see who was going to do what. No matter what, he was going to stay by his brothers side.
Listening to the bumbling voices of planning, Akarui wasn't surprised to hear her name as Kokoro called out final orders to lead the mission. On her way to the meeting, she figured that she would begin planning the retrieval mission. Such thing caused her delay. Looking up, she already saw Xero, Tomoyo, and Eun Ji depart from the room. Akarui sighed, as she must have thought they were anxious to get prepared. Best to be prepared now, than scramble for utilities last minute. Tapping her chin and thinking deeply, she figured it be best to call for prep meeting in her office before taking off for Euthoria. Kushina Tsukada's cackling image flashed through her mind, and a pair of furrowed brows appeared on Akarui's forehead.
The captain sighed again until she noticed Taiyo was still in the room. "Oh good." she said, smiling a little. "Perhaps we could brief a little bit on this mission and get an actual strategy in mind." Akarui was the type that wanted to have a set plan and back up in mind, and felt that some may have not have the same work concept, but there had to be at least someone...

As the meeting went on, Commander Tennyou decided to finally break her silence, as she finally spoke. Agreeing with the Commander's words, Jousake simply nodded as he didn't have any protests with what she said. In fact, he was rather relieved to hear that she didn't have any particular orders for his division or for the Sword and Shield Initiative.
"Thank God. Last thing we need is the Fourth Division leaving the Seireitei..." Sighing, Jousake knew that it would be best for his division to stay stationed here in the Seireitei in the meanwhile, as the others worked to mobilize their forces for the events to come. All he and his subordinates could do at this point was prepare themselves to help those who would end up injured in all of this.
Turning over to his fellow members of the Fourth Division, Jousake turned over to them and got up. "Members of the Fourth, listen up. As we all know, our division has not been selected for any immediate roles for the future at the moment. However, this is by no means an excuse for any of our fellow comrades to sit on their assess and do absolutely nothing. An all out war is inevitable at the rate of which things are going.
Due to this, we as the Fourth Division and as members of the Sword and Shield Initiative have to share a burden that the others don't have to worry. All of use are aware of what's going to come, and we must prepare for the events that are to come." Pausing, Jousake sighed lightly, as he turned his eye to the other divisions, who were slowly preparing themselves for the events to come.
Turning back to his division members, Jousake ended what he had to say with this. "Expect for the best, but please do prepare for the worst." With that, Jousake simply walked out of the Royal Council Hall, as he honestly needed a break from all of this. Some of his fellow shinigami didn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation, and he worried for the well being of them, as he really didn't want to see anyone else die at the hands of the Time Rogues... ⇨Beneath the surface, Anya was quite livid, but her exterior concealed it quite well. Taking Kono's toyings with a grain of salt, the catgirl had allowed her posture to gradually shift over the course of the captain's healing until she was lounging in her chair in the position most comfortable for her. Anya was only slightly interested in the specifics of the plot and the information the captain had to give out. Naturally it was important and she took it to heart, but getting too into it would result in a flare of anger from her. It was best she stayed distant. And best she was sitting in front of the woman in the room capable of restraining her.
The rest of the discussion to her was meaningless, lacking structure and consisting mostly of guesswork that Anya would have done away with. As luck would have it, her comrade in arms took care of that with a simple statement empowered by the experience of a seasoned warrior, and that tone the Shinigami priestess was equipped with that generally urged people to follow her direction. The general consensus agreed to this, with the exception of one whom Houmei dismissed quite quickly. Add to the number the captain commander who agreed and then made a statement regarding the group of people whom were leaving and where everyone would be during. As it were, she had no part in this. It was just as well.
The only remark that left her with a bitter taste was that not even she, Anya, could contain them. Anya had pulled a face of slight irritation, responding quietly so that only her seat mate would hear her."Only because all kido have to end eventually! Several thousand years is a feat, thanks!"Hushed words were spoken quickly, so as to not interrupt anything. Kokoro left when she was done, and Anya spent a moment in brooding silence before unfurling her legs and rising to her feet."Duty calls, I suppose..."Anya tugged on her hair for a second before turning to the back of the podracer and stepping out into the walkway behind it. Kono, she knew, would do as she pleased. They were both adults, after all.
With the stealth one would expect from a cat, Anya navigated through the walkways, using a few gymnastic feats to descend the various levels until she reached Amaranths podracer. Soon enough she was standing behind the woman, who would undoubtedly notice her presence."Come."She said among the din of the Shinigami filing out."We have things to discuss."Regardless of the turn of events-- being that neither of them was to enter this other dimension-- Anya figured the Junshin should be completed. Who would hold the sword on the other end was beyond her; who was going to pry it from her territorial kitty paws was another matter entirely."Bring the boy as well."Anya hadn't the faintest idea what the lieutenant's name was.

While he didn't actually agree with any of their ideas, his weren't much better. His solution was just to go in, beat up the time rogues, and walk out with all that blood they stole. Their were 50 or so shinigami afterall. Maybe send in the top 13 or 14 and ride in Rambo style. What else did they have all those numbers for?
