User ImageJewlet nodded her head once and took his arm. "Yes." She smiled as they started to walk. She then glanced over at the flowers that were blooming in the royal garden. She felt some what at peace, but figured it would not last very long.

[[He's inside the building that is close to the doors of the royal garden. Ah it's so short...]]

Making his way to the war room Grant looked for the queen hoping she was their. He had his report to give as well as a question to ask. The room was quiet from outside but that's as it should be. No secrets out means spies have to be in the room to hear anything and being a constantly suspicious person that information was acutely calming.

((where is the queen anyways? is she in the war room?))

Niro simply smiled at the maiden. She was so polite and well mannered. "No worries. I'll make sure you don't fall off." With that said, Niro hopped on the back of Kotoro behind the girl. He reached over for the reins so that his arms acted like handle bars. "There, just relax. We'll be at the castle in no time." He looked over at her to see that she had her hand over her face. "Are you alright, Miss?" He looked around wondering what exactly was scaring her. Maybe it the sight of the carnage that bothers her. "Let get out of here. You'll be safe at the castle." With a gentle tap, Niro directed Kotoro out of the city. The last thing he needed was for the girl to go into shock.

User ImageValrie did not dare to uncover her face in fear she may do something horrible. Would it be weird to ask if she could be lockup or tied down so she could not bit anyone? It would and she knew it. She nodded her head and shut her eyes. 'This is not happening!' She screamed in her head. 'I'm vampire!' She thought wishing it could role off her tongue. Then tears started to roll down her cheeks when she heard she was going to be taken to the castle. "Sir, please, if you take me there... you must lock me up." She slowly began to uncover he face and the four fangs that a grown their full length. She looked at him finally about to make the words roll out. "Because I am... am a vampire..." Then an uneasy calm came over her. "That smell..." She caught herself and covered her face again. 'Don't dare to! Don't!' She screamed in her head. "Sorry! I hope I did not hurt you." She said.

[[Yes, Queen is war room]]

The Queen sighed as Ric barged in, and soon, both he and Cyrith were off... For whatever reason. Slowly, the woman sat down in one of the plush chairs and waited for somebody to get her. To tell her what was transpiring in her kingdom.

Niro got them towards the edge of the rood. He looked back at the maiden to see if she was ok. At this point the tears were already rolling down her face. " Please miss, don't cry. It's not as bad as it looks." He listen to the girls plead to be caged. This came as a shook to Niro. Why on earth would someone want that? Surely whatever she has done wrong couldn't possibly be that bad. "Lock you up?! Why would I do such a thing? You just need to calm yourse...huh." He watched as she removed her hands from her face. Her fangs were visible now, which made Niro a bit concern. The comment that fallowed after didn't help much either. "Va...va...vampire?" Niro didn't know what to think about this. At first he thought she was confused and was starting to be delusional. Then again, she did have the fangs. But aren't vampires suppose to be sensitive to light. All this was swimming around in his head. Then he realized she was talking to him. " Smell? Oh.....I think that's blood." Niro quickly shut his mouth. If she really was a vampire, the last thing he want is for her to desire blood. His sudden action made him loose balance and fall off Kotoro. Kotoro slowed down to a stop and turn around. Niro rubbed his head after landing on it. "No, not at all." He didn't know what to make of her and her request. Plus the rest of the men were beginning too return with survives. Niro looked up at the girl. "Miss I'm not keen on arresting someone for..... heritage. But if it's alright with you, I'll take you to the captain. He'll know what to do. Is that ok?"

Alexander was in an intense state of shock, his pupils so small in his eyes like they weren't even there. As Alexander walked down the hall escorted by the medic, he could only wonder what else could construct his sorry life. What was the purpose? If Alexander wasn't cast out by the Tou because of his heritage, why was he? Everything seemed to be a lie or at least a long secluded death of life. Alexander felt betrayed and angry; tired of the world and the burdens it presented him with each passing day. The medic had finally escorted Alexander to the infirmary and held her nose as she went to remove Alexander's cloak.

"My dear! Why does your cloak smell so bad?"

Alexander broke out of his shock for a moment, but still stumbled on his words; how would this woman think of him when Alexander told her it was blood that was creating that foul smell; dried blood from the soldiers Alexander had slaughtered in the name of justice and his own home, only later to find out they were all lies.

"It...Is blood...From the battle..."

The medic found this confusing for a few moments and removed the hood from Alexander’s head to see his hair and immediately understood why this child had a cloak drenched in blood.

"Oh! You were the Minstrel! I liked your songs, too bad you quit, traded your instrument for a sword hey?"

Alexander didn't like the way this woman spoke for that of a medic, but he supposed someone had to have a bright attitude in this time of darkness. Maybe that was what Grant was doing when Alexander saw him with Jewlet: a bright attitude. Then Alexander thought back on whom he knew Grant was and pushed that thought aside since the high ranking people cared little for the deaths of the pawns; only the higher leveled pieces mattered like the rook or bishop. Alexander stopped listening to the medic's rambling and climbed into one of the infirmary beds to sleep; he needed rest. Alexander placed his dirtied cloak beside the bed roll and went to sleep; shock was a tiring state of being.

Grant made his way into the war room and bowed to the queen. "Your highness, I'm here to report that the threat seems to be squashed. What is left of the enemy retreated at the sight of Zireno and his men. Though I must protest his actions because he ran into the line of fire for my archers. That being said I have sent out a rescue party to the city and the rest of the men are resting at their posts. I await further orders your majesty." Grant said with another bow before backing up a bit to allow Jewlet to speak. Grant made his way to a window to look out over the court yard. He was checking t see his men where being properly treated and fed.

Grog and Sylvan were joining the knights in drinking games since Sylvan got into a fight with Brutus on who could drink more: Grog or Brutus. Despite the battle before hand, drinking was a nice way to sooth away the troubles of an attacked kingdom, but Sylvan was just getting this contest going for kicks. Grog was reluctant to do a drinking contest with Brutus, but Sylvan managed to goad him into it. For the past ten minutes, constant chanting of 'chug, chug, chug!' had been coming from the courtyard while both Brutus and Grog did their best to hold their beer, ale, and even wine since this contest was running out of alcohol. Grog was just as intoxicated by the drinks as Brutus was despite the size difference. Sylvan got an idea that would win Grog the contest and the money she had placed upon Grog to win. While the next two drinks were being prepared, Sylvan managed to slip some Moon Sugar into both the drinks and announced to everyone present at the contest in the courtyard.

"I added a special treat for both of you in this next round! Let see who is standing!"

Grog -being a Tou- could withstand the full effect of Moon Sugar, but Brutus being a Dirt Blood that had never tasted it before obviously wouldn't be able to stand it and pass out. Both of them drank and the chanting continued, but Brutus didn't fall and neither did Grog. Unfortunately for Sylvan, the Moon Sugar she had was fake; it was just average sugar. The dealer had conned Sylvan into buying it and only now did she find out it was just plain sugar. Thus, the drinking contest continued, neither combatant giving an inch to the other. Sylvan sat down on a stool and pouted; nothing ever went her way it seemed.

( Dang, oh well, I can deal with this)

Having dragged his brother out onto the battlefield, Ric soon discovered from the soldiers remaining that the captain had already left the scene. "Yes, that was certainly worth the trip through the palace," Cyrith complained as the two Princes ascended the stairs that led back to the war room.

"I am sorry brother, I thought that he would still be there. How was I supposed to know the enemy had retreated?" RIc sighed as he grabbed the door, spotting the Neko Captain immediately, "Hm, how ironic, just the man we were looking for. Tell me, what is the status of of the enemy, do you expect a return?"

"Very good." She almost sighed in relief. Things had gone well. "Allowing herself one last question before he left, she spoke. "What of Prince Dainne? I trust you've kept tabs on him?" She knew what to do if he was doing something he shouldn't be. And then her sons magically reappeared in the room and she smiled wryly. Obviously, they were only looking for the captain.

User ImageValrie wouldn't look at the knight as she had saw his reaction. Maybe she needed just to go on to a place that would leave her by herself. 'Why did my magic just canceled out the vampire strengths and weakness and not the taste for blood?' She thought grabbing her hair. She then looked up feeling that the horse had stopped moving. Valrie looked down to see the knight on the ground. She looked around and then looked down. Carefully, she began to inch her way off the horse. The carefully did not help her because once she landed on her feet she fell on her butt. "Ow..." She got to her feet, with a bit of trouble, and walk over to the knight. She smiled, but her fangs had yet to go away. "I just don't want to harm anyone..." She said in a light, caring tone. "Yes, sir knight." Her blue eyes sparkled as she seemed to ease some. "Do you need help up?"

User ImageJewlet bowed to the queen once they entered the war room. She remained silent as Grant spoke. She would have to report to the eldest prince. She turned around when she heard Ric speak. She bowed and looked at both of the princes. Now she need to speak, but that seemed to be cut short. She sighed lightly. "Prince Zi did not follow orders as expected." She put it bluntly. Then she moved aside to let Grant talk to the Cyrith and Ric. Jewlet walked over to the queen and asked. "Do you need me to do anything for you, My Lady?" She asked in a calm tone.
