Grant smiled as he watched Jewlet use his bow. He never let anyone use his weapons but the sight of Jewlet taking on the enemy was a little exciting. "You may be right but we will see in time." He responded as he walked to her. Grant picked Jewlet up by the waist and brought her down to the floor. "But we should take the time we have and regroup and take ease." Looking into Jewlet's eyes he moved his hands around her waist. "Besides we have plenty of men here. I'll post some lookouts and then I have to report the situation with the queen. After that I was thinking.." Grant started to sway a bit. "..we could go back to my office and relax a bit."

Jewlet turned to Grant and tilted her head. "I believe so." She said watching him. She didn't mind, as much as she use to, when Grant help her to the floor. "You are right." She said looking around at the knights, then back at Grant. She cocked one eyebrow as she crossed her arms. "That would be a good idea. I most report back to Ric and tell him what has happened." She looked at him as he swayed. She blinked a few time in shock and said lightly. "Oh-okay..."

"Great." Grant said letting go of Jewlet. Turning around he yelled down to Niro. "Niro! Get you butt up here NOW!" Grant then looked at some of them men who were a little confused at Grants actions with Jewlet. "Jonson! Take five men and go the the north wall. Bruise, the south wall. Denis, take the west wall. The rest of you at ease, but stay in your armor and stay near your post. I will try to get some maids to bring bread and mead to all of you." He looked to Jewlet. "You think you can get that done for me hun.. I mean Lady Jewlet?" He said as he straitened up and regained his composure.

Grog didn't stop running and never gave any sign of slowing down as he ran towards the castle. Grog had to carry Alexander, but Sylvan he carried because he knew letting her down would slow his paste. The sight was quite comical; Grog was a bit taller then most Tou, but seeing him run while carrying both Alexander and Sylvan was interesting since both of them were almost his size. Grog inhaled greatly and jumped another time, over the walls of the castle and into the courtyard with a thump; he was tired too. Sylvan seemed to be the only one still fully active since Grog was panting and Alexander was in a half asleep state.
"You two really need to stop over doing it...Why we back at this dirt hole? I'm not going back into any dirty dungeon."
Sylvan complained knowing she couldn’t due any help to Alexander or Grog since both seemed to be suffering from exhaustion; Alexander more so then Grog due to how long he must have fought. Grog wanted to meet the Elder and ask him so many questions due to his presents at such a lowly place as Dakrim Kingdom; there maybe more then what the council let on. However, exhaustion was too great an obstacle and Grog just sat on the ground trying to catch his breath.
Alexander was grateful for the two Tou for helping him; he had already guessed they were the Tou from the dungeon. There was far too much thanks to give them for not only saving his life, but also being strangers and saving his life. Dainne would have arrived too late and Grant was absent or a coward. Alexander hated them all; many men gave their lives to defend this castle and up there above the courtyard he saw Grant fooling around with Jewlet: disgraceful. Grant was no different from the rest of the higher classed Dirt Bloods; uncaring and spoiled. Alexander felt like he needed to give them something to care about, his anger was driving him to just to use his powers to throw something large anywhere, just to get them out of their false sense of security.
Alexander somehow stood up from the ground he was lying on, with eyes red like rubies glowing in the sun, Alexander stared at Grant and Jewlet, not making a move or doing anything else; all he did was stare up at them. After a few minutes, he looked around and gave his dark yet bright stare at everyone, scolding them all. Alexander wouldn't draw much attention unless someone actually looked at him; his eyes weren't like giant flames, just glimmering slightly from the emotion of anger. The area around Alexander -about a ten foot radius- felt heavier; a sign of Tou anger since emotions fueled their powers.
There was no doubt about it; this Tou was indeed an Elder. No Tou could affect his surroundings with emotion and get up after being so worn out without being an experienced Elder or extremely gifted. This however made less sense since Elders usually had a great control of their emotions, always calm and calculating. Grog felt heavier than usual; so heavy he couldn't bear to bring himself up from the ground due to his exhaustion and the increased weight created by Alexander’s anger. Sylvan felt it too and feared it; she never felt this kind of anger before and the extra weight was so alien to her since she was so use to being light on her feet. Sylvan spoke up, not wanting this increased weight to be created any longer.
"Are you alright?"
Alexander's anger vanished as soon as he heard that voice and he turned around to meet his eyes with the red headed girl who had helped save him from the final part of the battle he was in. Alexander’s anger disappeared quickly and he smiled again, glad to see there were others he could relate with.
"Sorry...Dirt Bloods tend to...Frustrate me...I thank you and your friend for the help."
Alexander bowed and so did the red headed girl. The bigger one was still exhausted for the run and Alexander accepted this when the bigger one just made thumbs up with his right hand as he lay on the ground. Alexander didn't know who these two were, but he had a feeling they were going to be important friends of his.

[ armor but silver and without the cap/hat] Niro watched as a three tous leaped over the castle wall. Wow....you don't see that every day? Before he got the chance to help Alexander and his new friends, his actions was interrupted with Grant's bellowing. The sudden yell shocked him so much that he tumble over. When he regain his composer, he looked upward with a displeased expression. God, must he always yell at me? Nevertheless, he had to fallow orders. Once he was on his feet, he sheath Gon's sword and head towards the castle's wall. Along the way, he stopped some maids to fetch some medics to the courtyard. Once that was taken care of, he made his way up the stairs. He thought back on last three days. Though by the time he got to Grant, he remembered the Captain kitty remark. The funny thought took off Niro's edge and he stood in attention. "Yes, Captain?"

As Ric headed back towards the War Room, the castle returned to havoc as maids and medics scrambled around, some so rushed as to not even notice the Future King. 'What in the world?' the Prince thought as he paused for a moment and stared at those around him. Something had changed, Ric needed to get down to the battlefield, but first there was something else he needed to take care of.

A small smithy was poring a lot of smoke out of it's shaft as new armor and weapons are traded for old broken ones. The solders dependent on Garrett to have new equipment ready when they needed and they have been draining his stores quicker then he had anticipated. Just recently he had heard that the enemy is retreating and now he has a week worth of repairs and scraping to do. Garrett started to separate the repairable equipment from the unrepairable equipment . With the unrepairable equipment he would just strip it of all other items like hilts, straps, and any other non-metal object and melt down the metals. He sighed as he watched the medics take the dead and wounded off the battlefield. These were his friends they were taking away. He wish his armor was stronger but he new that he was one of the best at his trade and it was the solder who made or brake the gear. He just wished he could help his buddies in the field.

Jewlet nodded her head and looked at Grant as he yelled. She shook her head lightly and looked at the men. She then turned her face away seeing the looks they were given. She composed herself and turned back around. "Yes I believe so, Sir Grant." She bowed her head and headed for the door. "I will be speaking with you later." Then she opened the door and made her way to the main part of the castle.

She smiled. Nothing less from Cyrith. She had expected such a dodging answer, but it would be nice to know a little bit more about the women her son was inevitably wooing. The Queen rolled her eyes, a little, hadn't even given her a shred before changing the subject. "He should, they were probably from your brother's chess set." Before it was replaced to with solid metal, of course. She refrained from touching the pieces any further, or even making much other movement. It would only make her more restless.

Grant nodded a bit to Jewlet before she went off and then turned to Niro. "Niro. I need people with good running abilities, a sharp eye and a good heart for this next mission. Everyone who volunteers for it may not come back." Grant pointed down the the ruins of the city. "You see what's left of our fair city. Well their still may be survivors down their and we need to get them to the castle. Unfortunate I can only spare thirty men at best due to the high risk of this mission. I would go myself but if I where to fall in battle the castle guard would be in shambles... again." Grant was highly disappointed in the way his men handled themselves in this situation. They should have been ready to fight instead of scrambling around. If they had been Grant felt they wouldn't have had to pull out of the city as soon and wouldn't have lost as many people let alone the amount of ground the enemy took. Once finished their he made his way down the tower and headed for the castle to report what has happened.

Jewlet spotted a few maids and walked over to them. "Excuse me. Can you please bring some bread and mead to the knights?" She asked them. They all nodded there heads. "Thank you and I shall help." She said following them to the kitchen. She used this time to think and plan. What else could happen? Where? When? And just part would be first. This all rushed through mind at a fast pace.

[ armor but silver and without the cap/hat] Niro listen intently to what the Captain had to say. Though some of his wording wasn't so comforting. May not come back...I don't like the sound of that. Though that is expected on the battlefield. Once Grant was finished, Niro nodded, "Yes Captain. Right away." With that said, he made his way back down to the courtyard. Some of the troops were beginning to relax a little bit. Though most still had their swords our just encase. Niro went straight up to the Commander, "Commander, I need 30 men to investigate the city and see if there were any survivors." The Commander nod his head, "Very well, Squad A. You are all to go with..." "Niro, commander." "Sir Niro and scan the city for survivors. You will all report to him of any news. Is that clear!" The squad nodded and ready their horses. Niro let out a whistle for Kotoro to come. Kotoro galloped over to Niro and immediately bent over to let him on. Once on, he turn to see the squad mounted and read. He nodded to them and trotted over to the gate where the guards were opening it. Ok...no pressure.

Valrie coughed as she crawled out from under a closped house. She had been sleeping until she hear loud noses and it was to late, her home clasped. "What... happened?" She asked looking around trying to get her feet. Her ankle hurt as a gash on the side of it healed up. "Ow." She cried and tears streamed down her face. "Help." She called out seeing if she could find anyone. Finally she pulled herself to her feet and began to limp down the street. She looked a lot worse then she actual was. "Help." She said again as she looked for anyone. 'I hope mother is safe.' She thought as she turned a corner. Valrie tripped and landed on her side. "Ow!" She said almost screaming. She sat up and touched her ankle and her other arm kept her up-right.

For a short while there was a silence between Cyrith and his mother, it was only when the Prince attempted t break the silence that the door burst open.
"There seems to have been a development in the situation," Prince Ric reported as he stood in the doorway, having no intention of entering the room, "Cyrith, come with me, we are going to investigate."
"What?!?! Why do I have to come, can't we send one of the servants?" the younger prince complained, staring into his brothers eyes out of habit.
"Because I said so, no come on!"
"...Fine"
