Tama, Guardian Cat
(Mouthing off at Lysithea.)

“You can’t lose him?” The Mauvian’s voice could not hold back the incredulity in it, dripping like venom.

You can’t loose him? Who are you to say that, Princess?” The ends of the title let to linger on his tongue, seething. “He never belonged to you. He didn’t even know what you were — are! Didn’t even tell him you were one of the White Moon’s royalty. Please. Tell me you were close. Tell me he means more to you than he means to Albite.”

His claws extended their full length as he pointed at Lysithea accusingly, sarcasm lacing the following words.

“Hell, tell me he means more to you than he does to us.”

Captain Jadarite
Trying to stop Albite. Having feelings.

Albite. Of course it was Albite.

How many times had she had to pull him away from making terrible decisions with force? How often did the few thoughts that he managed to string together dissolve into impulse the moment that some sort of threat to Faustite was involved? She would have thought this would be different, since they were already having to rely on Order in this way, but she should have known differently about that, too.

He'd been going on and on in the briefing about how he would drag Faustite home, no matter what.

No matter what. Of course that meant dragging home an ash-laden corpse, if Albite perceived that the rest was about to go wrong. Jadarite couldn't tell if his plan was to join him in death, with that kamikaze attack a Princess and her entire court while he tried to order the rest of them to leave.

Logically she knew she should have left him to it. She should have salvaged the rest of the team, best that she could. She'd already given the warning that if anyone else went in, trying to attack the Court, then Faustite was going to die and the blood would be on their hands.

"Alkmene," she whispered instead, a hint of desperation inside of her usual steely tone, but it wasn't a call for retreat. Her eyes flicked to Albite, to the Court.

She shouldn't be emotionally compromised if Faustite died. She'd known that was a heavy possibility going in.

She shouldn't care if Albite followed him. She shouldn't care about him. She used him for sex. That was all. That was all. There were a thousand other attractive airheads in the city. She could find one easily. She could replace him.

She could.

Her feet were moving anyway.

Her axe was out. A magic tether snapped around her ankle, pulling tight, but that was fine.

She wasn't leaving.

Instead she pressed the sharp tip of her axe against Albite's collarbone. She was smaller than him, and lower ranked, too, but she matched every bit of intensity that was in his body.

"You will regret this," she said. Golden glitter sparkled around her, but Jadarite did not feel any effects from it. Her eyes were always sharp, but now they cut deep. She did not raise her voice. She always meant what she said, and now was no different. She was cool, and logical, and even her weapon was there to catch his attention more than anything else.

"You. Will. Regret. This."

Then, just for a moment. The sharpness flickered, and she looked into Albite's desperate eyes with her own sort of desperation.

She didn't want him to end up with his own husband's blood on his hands. She certainly didn't want him to die. Another wouldn't be the same. She knew that, whatever she told herself.

"There might still be a chance," she said, because the flame had never quite gone out. She wasn't holding her breath, but she would do whatever she could to give Faustite a chance, as she'd promised. "But even if there's not?"

Her hand reached for his, to hold it as much as to stop it.

"I won't lose you, too."

Corrupt Super Sailor Mizuki
Action: Oh she PISSSSSED now, with Plant Dad and his group

The purple smoke began to curl around her legs, blistering and boiling her flesh where it touched her. She glanced at Fafnir with an expression of confusion, and would have snapped at him if Kamacite had not put himself between them. The sunset colored corrupt gave her a look of betrayal, and then grabbed her arm.

He dropped to the ground sobbing and Mizuki whirled on him, staring down at him with her own malice and contempt. He just ******** teleported her away?! For what? For trying to give the court the time they needed to do what the freaking plan was?

Rage surged in her belly, shattering the build up of ice and anxiety and using it to fuel the fire, and she pulled out of Prehnite's grip with a glare. She knew he was just trying to help. She knew it. But nothing was helping!

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" she screamed, hair snapping as she turned in place, fists balled tight. "Our General is still dying! And you teleport me here!? WHEN ALL I WAS TRYING TO WAS HELP?! TO KEEP US ON MISSION?" Mizuki stared down at Kamacite, panting in her anger. She vibrated, she wanted to punch him. She wanted to rip his damn soul out and crush it. It would be so easy.

But she didn't.

Somehow, she didn't.

Instead she pulled out her communicator and spoke to it.

"Helio shot first. He did this. All I did was try to get him to stop. So if Faustite dies because of all this, blame Helio and all of you that put your anger before the mission." Her words were cold, hard and devoid of absolutely everything that usually made Mizuki, Mizuki. With a cooler head, she probably would have realized that kinda included her, since she had reacted with magic at Helio instead of like, telling him to knock it off.

She lifted her chin at Prehnite. "I am not going to leave him to die." Mizuki turned, giving her other General a gaze that begged him to try to stop her from walking back to the battlefield.

She would not, could not, let Faustite die.

If that meant being reprimanded later for disobeying orders and attacking her own teammates... so be it.

Super Sailor Heliodor, Corrupt Senshi of Ryuto
ACTIVELY: He doesn’t even ******** know. Trying to get to Faustite, deal with emotions, help Alibite.

The rage that was his brother was not something Helio had witnessed before and Helio didn’t know where that anger was fully directed. All he knew was that Zuzu had attacked him and Faf was returning it in kind until Kamacite moved in and removed Zuzu from the location. Zuzu, who had been yelling at the court about their eyes. He understood where she was coming from. The court was Faustite’s hope, but to divulge information about another’s attacks

It didn’t matter in that moment. He’d done worse, and sure it didn’t make either good, but he needed to focus!

Each breath he took burned. Even with the Knight’s magic over, the damage still pestered the corrupt. He coughed, and spun back to Faf, intending to not leave his brother’s side. Not when they were so close to Faustite and the court. Things had gone south. They’d gone south QUICKLY and it didn’t look like the court was going to do anything about Faustite now.

Especially with Albite having thrown his weight. The eternal corrupts magic cracked at people near the menacing himbo. Helio barley dodged an attack himself that snapped inches from his face. The man was on a mission and the Princess, that it seemed Albite clearly knew, was taking the full brunt of his anger.

Helio had never seen Albite in quite a state before. Anger radiated off the Eternal. Violence promised at the princess dropped her wand. He couldn’t hear what she said, but it was likely her arm wasn’t a singular bone anymore. Not with a reaction like that.

Helio’s emotions were a mess. A turmoil of self-hate, confusion, and desperation. It made it hard to make a choice on what to do. How to react.

A shimmering settled over the area and he felt what could almost be a small pool of burning liquid settled within his chest. It clawed at him. It was extremely uncomfortable, but it didn’t stop him. If nothing else, the pain helped center his thoughts into one central location.

“Fafnir! Albite! They aren’t going to help him now!” He called. There was no way they would. Not with the princess injured like she was. They needed to get to him. Get him home safe. They could figure something else out. There had to be a better way than…this!

Then Jada appeared. Cold hearted one that she was. She brandished her axe at Albite as if to hold him hostage. Threaten him. It was hard to hear clearly but he was pretty damn sure she was making a choice to forgo Faustite. He’d be idamned if that was going to happen! “Back the ******** off, Jada!” Helio hissed at her. ”I swear to god if you don’t remove that axe for Albite…” His fingers twitched. He didn’t want to attack a fellow team member. He ******** up enough, but that axe pointed at Albite incited his rage more causing the burning in him to escalate, almost taking him to his knees.

Then his communicator roared to life. Zuzu’s words were a knife to his heart for all of the truth that they held. A pain that couldn’t be rivaled even by the senshi magic.

Youma General Faustite
Action: Youmafying, bye

More and more people, both factions, crowded around him. Kerberos flung himself into the disaster zone to take his hand, burn himself, and offer Faustite an infusion of energy that he sorely needed. The flame inside him flared back to life, thankful for the donation, but it was likewise a tipping point — Faustite felt part of himself begin to give way, as if it was burned for too long by his living flame.

He could not speak, for fire coursed up his throat and charred it to the point that each breath came at the cost of an agonizing burn. He felt ash leave his nose, slip off his tongue. Faustite knew that parts of him were being burned away.

Faustite had but one decision left to make, and his window for making it was but seconds long. Even as Encke took his hand, dragged him toward the court, Faustite recognized that they would not be purifying a half-youma General in the moments that followed. That even if the rest of the Negaverse stood down and stood by while the purification occurred, they would first endure another transformation. Another compromise that would then require the court to rectify it, assuming that Lysithea or Ida or even Ganymede saw fit to spare him their tiaras.

If that was the inevitability, if they waited too long? If asking for a date so deeply sentimental was what foiled him? Then he had to accept it.

Faustite was too tired to run as Encke dragged him. He was too tired to speak. While he still had a marginal pool of energy to call his own, courtesy of Kerberos, it would only be enough for one action. One thought. If youmafication was an inevitability, if it was all a simple grammar lesson, if it was trauma as his body became strange, then —

Albite ******** lost it. If he did not break from Encke, the million and one lashings of an angry senshi's magic would catch hold of him, anchor him there, keep him on display for the gawkers to watch as his body devolves into sentient fire. What privacy there was for something so personal would be cast away, all due to that endless antithesis between senshi and youma. Albite would have tied himself to Faustite, for better or for worse, for now or forever, for nothing but a snack when Albite hadn't the will to deny him.

That was the fate that he came here to avoid. Why, then, did it seem so ubiquitous?

By all rights, it should have been fine. Breakout fights were fizzling out, everyone stood on edge with their weapons out and their tongues a hundred times sharper than their actions. They watched each other. They waited for another wrong move, for more agents or senshi to emerge from the nowhere corners of the park. They screamed at each other. They each screeched the same command at different tempos, as if that could halt time. As if that could stop Albite from taking out a lifetime's worth of grief on the one senshi who kept her power hidden from them until it was nigh too late. Not even Jadarite's axe would talk sense into that beleaguered, beloved boy.

Faustite wrenched his hand out of Encke's grasp. "It's happening," he choked out, voice starved and cracking and ash-laden. He took two steps back, spared a tired, if spiteful, glance up at the stars, and vanished thereafter.

If becoming youma was an inevitability, then he would leave its undoing to the family he made and the fellow officers he trusted. He would leave its undoing in the hands of the Negaverse, should they find him useful enough to salvage. And if it meant revisiting the White Moon and beseeching them for their assistance once more? If it meant their wholesale denial and dusting of him? It was a better fate than even minutes of betrayal.

Tama, Guardian Cat
(Exit.)

It was happening. Everything they had tried so hard to prevent. And, yet, their efforts were nothing — but a tear drop trying to put out a flame.

“I can’t watch this.” But then he looked at Faustite. He could practically feel the twisted energy ready to turn him into a full youma. But then the general, or what was left of him, looked up. Was he looking at the stars?

… and then Faustite just vanished. Disappeared.

“I’m ******** done here.”

He needed to get out of here now. Before he said something he regretted. Before he killed someone. Before he lost all control of his emotions.

As if sensing his need, the Mauvian was able to teleport for the first time on his own.

And he, too, was gone.

Anakeion Squire of Castor
Aggroing on Albite before he remembers he can teleport out

"Well," Anakeion said belatedly, looking at the space Faustite had been in until just a few seconds prior, "********," and then called her magic to hand and launched herself at Albite like a bat out of hell.

She'd expected that, in some way, the purification would fail. Of course she had. She was a chronic pessimist, as much as she hated to ever actually reveal it to anyone. But like that?

It didn't feel any better to know that, somehow, the Negaverse had managed to magnificently bungle what would have been something that ultimately benefited them. Mostly it just felt like s**t. Probably? Anakeion was not exactly stopping to examine her own emotions at the minute, but she'd literally never met Faustite before that time she'd tried to bodyslam one of his Senshi last month as far as she could remember; if nothing else, she needed to keep an eye on Encke, who'd had a lot more invested in this emotionally on every level. But! Anyway!

Self-reflection later. Blunt force trauma now. Probably Castor would approve of her doing it in that order, but it wasn't like she could ask, or like she'd ever gotten to help him with a purification, which was something she was totally completely normal about and had definitely not been dwelling on for literal years!! Anyway!!

"Get the ******** away from the Princess," Anakeion said, sounding surprisingly casual and conversational about it, like she was asking him the weather, and swung at Albite with her frosted-over hands and all the supernatural force she could muster.

By placing both hands on her staff, the staff 'freezes' itself to her hands via a covering of ice that covers up to her mid-forearms. Mont Saint Michel, Knight of Saturn

Action: Crabby with Taenite and Youma!Cymophane; distressed by Lysithea being hurt.

Michel wished he had more time to relish the fact that the youma he’d had his little-run in before seemed like he was having a bad time but by this point in time, most youma would have been dusted. There was so much magic being flung around right now, it was a wonder he was still standing.

Well, figuratively.

He didn’t know what that word meant but he knew it couldn’t be anything good–especially when Taenite came to his aid.

His summon couldn’t do much with all of that fire, and Michel might have been hell-bent on hurting someone but he wasn’t going to risk pissing that monster off. He dismissed it and drew his weapon back, but–

What was he going to do, jump through fire just to hit them?

Maybe, it sounded kind of promising.

He sneered at the two of them. “Since when did a Senshi give a s**t about a youma? That your boyfriend? Best you could do.”

He could feel the heat from the flames and for a moment he was wondering if he could wait it out to attack them, or if he could hurtle his weapon through the flames. It wasn’t worth jumping through; he didn’t want to kill them enough to deal with the burns. All he cared about was–

Lysithea cried out. He didn’t hear what anyone had said, but he knew her voice, he knew the sound of her, in pain.

He jerked his head in time to see her, to see–

Faustite disappearing.

Corrupt Sailor Mizuki
Action: EMOTIONAL DAMAGE

It didn't matter if Prehnite tried to stop her. It didn't matter if any others tried to stop her. Mizuki barely got to the tree line before she froze.

Albite was in Lysithea's face, his tattoos a great monster itself. Jadarite had her axe at Albite's throat. And Faustite-- Faustite

The world slowed down around her. One of the senshi tried to get him closer to the Princess, and Faustite pulled his hand out of his grasp. She didn't hear what was said. Faustite looked up.

And vanished.

Something cracked inside of her. She shattered from the inside out, a scream that pierced the air before going absolutely silent. No thoughts, no feelings, nothing except horror and terror and everything Metallia had taken from her once. She stared at the space where he had been, where a burn mark broke the ground. She stared and stared and stared and

Her communicator fell from her hands into the grass.

The world slammed back into her with a fury that rocked her world. A heel came down on her tablet pen, shattering under the force. She, she she she

Mizuki vanished in a flare of energy.

Corrupt Eternal Alkmene
Action: [The number you have dialed is not in service.]

Albite. ******** Albite and his ten thousand emotions and his prioritizing attacking <******** Lysithea over letting her save Faustite.

Jada was on him, at least. He gave her a sharp nod, teleported over by the Princess, prepared to call his magic to give cover to the Court so they could do their ******** job--

But it was too late.

Faustite was changing.

"Faustite!"

His name ripped from Alkmene's throat, an agonized cry, as he vanished before Alkmene's eyes.

It had all gone wrong. It had failed. As badly as it was possible to fail.

There were other sounds around him. Alkmene supposed some of them might be important. None of them actually penetrated.

Fasutite was gone.

Faustite was gone.

Faustite was gone, and the reason he was gone was that his own ******** team couldn't keep their s**t together long enough for Lysithea and her Court to save his life.

(At least he wasn't dead. Better youma than dead. But youma was still lost, youma would consider Alkmene and all of Faustite's other Senshi boys prey instead of beloved--)

He supposed his knees must have given out at some point, because he found himself abruptly on the ground, communicator pen slipping from his fingers into the grass.

They had failed. Not because their enemies were more cunning or more clever or more brave and dedicated, but because they, themselves, had <******** it all up. And they'd lost Faustite. Possibly for good.

And even if they hadn't--what the ******** good was a team that couldn't even hold its s**t together long enough to save its leader?

(What the ******** good was Alkmene and all his power, if he couldn't use it to save the boy he loved?)

Super Sailor Heliodor, Corrupt Senshi of Ryuto
ACTIVELY: Lost. Gone.

It was a cacophony of motion and sounds but somehow he heard that familiar voice within it all. The voice he could listen to for house talk about anything and everything if only it’s owner could be coaxed to storytelling. Somehow, that voice, now small and sad, managed to break through the roar of the battle. It pulled Helio’s attention away from everything else, eyes wide.

“No…” His own voice was quiet. Barely a whisper. Faustite was there. RIGHT ******** THERE. Helio could teleport to him and…

Faustite was gone within a breath.

Helio stared.

And stared.

Everything was lost to him in that moment. Nothing mattered as he stared at that patch of grass still imprinted where Faustite had collapsed. Where he’d been still mostly human. Still with a small shred of hope that he could be saved but now. He was gone and with him that bit of hope fluttered away in the breeze like dying butterfly. So fragile. It was his fault.

Helio’s mind was blank.

He stared.

The oppressive magic that clawed at his chest had eased. The magic dissipated. Helio didn’t notice as he rose back to his feet. Golden eyes finally shifted. He looked at Albite with Jada’s axe still threatening him. A wicked sense of sorrow and guilt emanated from the young man as his chest heaved. The air felt too heavy. He coughed in his gasping, raw throat reminding him it wasn’t a good idea.

He had cause this complete ******** up. He failed everyone out there, the mission he…he failed Faustite. And now Faustite was…he was…

He hiccuped as he held in a sob.

Helio accepted the physical pain as his throat rebelled at his heavily sucked in breath. It was better than the agonizing turmoil in his soul.

He spun, eyes catching Faf’s. He shook his head, tears beginning their travel down his face in an unending stream. He didn’t notice. Didn’t care to.

“Faustite.” He croaked out as he looked back to that spot. That indent likely still warm from his boy...his husbands fire.

He had no right to call him that. Not after any of this. Faustite deserved better. Deserved so much better. Helio couldn't even keep himself detained long enough to make sure the ******** mission had gone done right. He hated himself and what he'd done. He deserved the world to rain down every horror it could upon him.

But not Faustite. Faustite loosing his humanity should not be a punishment. Helio would give himself to the. Youma themselves if it meant Faustite could be saved, but...it didn't work that way.

The punishment was the greatest thing Helio never wanted.

Helio teleported away.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Encke, Senshi of Plasma
Action: Disassociating. Projecting at anyone of the Negaverse nearby but especially those that came near him and Faustite.

He heard Nectaris and Skoll behind him, telling off some captain that might have been trying to garner sympathy. This wasn't the plan, this wasn't their plan, and did he give two shits about that?

No.

If their starsdamned plan was to get their help to purify their general and then immediately launch on them with the plan to kill them all, he didn't want to hear it. He knew something was up. He had tried his hardest to hope against it, but it hadn't quite worked. He reached out and gathered people outside of the court he reached out to and the princess he had found with the help of Nectaris and Viatrix. He had been right, he had been right, and it echoed in his mind as he did his best to ignore the cacophony behind him and focus just on the fading man next to him.

"Hang on," he murmured, supportively, trying his best not to drag Faustite but working to get him to where he needed to be even with Faustite's own team ******** this up. What the hell magic was Albite flinging around? Would Harmonia be okay?

Would Lysithea?

"Just a bit longer," Encke didn't know if his words were hitting any kind of mark or if he was just missing the dartboard entirely. Perhaps it didn't matter. Even with the faded fire, Faustite was still hot, and perhaps that was sign enough that some part of him was still--

And then it all stopped.

Encke looked to Faustite as he yanked his hand out of Encke's grip.

"It's happening."

As Faustite walked back from him, Encke tried to walk toward him.

"We can fix this--"

He knew they could. Youma could be purified, not just half-youma. If he could hang on, even--

Faustite looked to the stars with spite and disappeared as all the remaining energy sapped out of Encke's body, and then his hand dropped, and then his shoulders, and then his head. It sounded as if Faustite's team around him was understanding what that meant, but Encke let the noise echo around him as he looked down at his own hands. He heard Anakeion launch around him -- likely the right move, perhaps should have been his -- but instead stayed locked in place.

Youmaification was an unpleasant process. It involved a kind of death, really, perhaps a literal one, a shattering that would never quite come back together in the same way. It left some sort of mark. Trauma. PTSD. Scarring.

It involved turning a body into one primarily driven by primal desires and wants and needs, focused all around death to humanity as one devolved. And it could be fought.

He knew it could.

Encke turned his hand over, moving his fingers through the air as if they were long appendages swimming through a murky lake. He didn't notice the red. All he saw was green.

They had wanted to avoid this. They had done everything they could to avoid it. And for what?

Some ill-fated ambush, unneeded violence that broke bodies and minds, and violence that meant the Negaverse's own goals had gone...

To ash.

"Chaos never stops, does it."

He jumped and turned that hard gaze toward those of the Negaverse that had chosen to come to the group of people that had surrounded him and Faustite.

"Whatever your mission was, it failed. Leave."

Eternal Kamacite
Exit.

No… no no no…

Kamacite didn’t hear the yelling over the pounding of his heart in his ears. Over his own panicked sobs because everything was going wrong.

This couldn’t be happening. They were supposed to have a plan. A mission that they all got together to talk about. Why was this happening? Why were they attacking each other instead of letting the White Moon do what they wanted them to do?

It wasn’t fair. And Faustite was suffering from everyone’s indecision.

And then… he was gone.

Kamacite could feel the shift in auras. He could tell that Faustite teleported without even having to look.

He knew where Faustite was going, so he teleported as well.

General King Jet
Dealing with eternal magic, yeeting Ganymede at Cybele. Telling Encke he has to deal with his own failures. Exit.

This was the most ridiculous thing Jet was sure he’s had to deal with in a long time. Not just Ganymede and her ******** cat, but the absolute inability for anyone to take two seconds to chill the ******** out. Yes, mistakes happen. Heliodor recognized his, but what everyone else did was just as unforgivable. Everyone, including those who stayed hiding in the shadows, should assume responsibility for helping to push things to this point.

He’d felt Ganymede’s magic before, and he felt the fires now. He grit his teeth and abandoned her gown so he could dig bruises or worse into her arms as she tried to claw at his face. He shoved himself backwards against her as he writhed from the temporary pain, hoping to crush her.

By the time he felt arrows piercing through him, and had to force an eye open to make sure Sessrumnir hadn’t unleashed his stupid dog on him, he’d had quite enough.

He tried to repress his thoughts. He knew Aquamarine could hear every thought, and see every way he would like to rip Ganymede’s wings off, and what he would like to do with Cybele’s antlers. Maybe make her know what it’s like to feel pierced through the chest or gut or throat.

Nothing the Negaverse was doing was helping Faustite. Nothing the ******** White Moon was doing helped either, because they couldn’t control their animals that disguised themselves as Senshi.

He felt sweat beading along his brow by the time the fires and feeling of teeth and arrows subsided. Then he forced himself up, still holding tightly to Ganymede’s arms, and launched her from over his shoulder, not unlike the cat, at Cybele. The wings, he thought, should have made her heavier, but instead it simply made it easier for him to get her airborne. And hopefully end up with a broken everything.

Finally standing again, Jet tried to catch his breath as his fingers twitched in the air, clearly debating on whether or not to summon his weapon.

Faustite had already lost his chance. Waited too long to seek help or maybe it would have always ended like this, no matter how soon he tried.

“Shut up you self righteous piece of s**t,” Jet snapped when he heard Encke pretending like he was the authority of anyone. Encke clearly didn’t have any control over the situation, otherwise they would be looking at a purified Knight instead of a pile of ash from where Faustite had just been.

“You made things worse by immediately attacking. We did need your help -- not you specifically. We needed people capable of purifying a youma to keep him from turning into one. You were about as helpful now as when I asked Pendour to deliver my little message,” Jet scoffed, his voice full of venom, clearly indicating that he was of no help. To him or Pendour.

“It wasn’t us who failed. You failed on your promise to help Faustite. And you’ll have to live with that.” He paused to turn to all of the other White Moon idiots standing around. "You all have to live with that. You failed. Not us."

It was tempting to summon an army of youma to take care of the White Moon, but he’d had enough of this. If they wanted to stay and fight, that was on them, but he’d promised to help Faustite through this, no matter the result.

“Time to call it,” Jet said into the communicator on a private channel to Prehnite. In case Prehnite needed the encouragement or verification that they were done.

Jet gave one last look towards Aquamarine, and teleported out.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Encke, Senshi of Plasma
Action: Addressing Jet, but otherwise done.

Jet addressing him directly earned an exasperated sigh. Did he care?

Not really. It would be nice if he just left.

With a dismissive shake of his head, he responded with, "Of course I attacked those that spawned in on the court a singular time in an attempt to get them to leave the court alone. The court couldn't stop their work to tend to people spawning in and attacking them before they were supposed to by y'all's apparent ambush. Real nice, by the way, attacking those helping."

Would Encke live with this? Sure. As his mistake?

No.

He had a lot of people who could be blamed in his mind. He had a whole list of them, even, but none of them started with Order. The court did everything they could. The team he was working with did everything they could. Chaos? No. They didn't. They had been chaotic.

Jet vanished, and Encke shook his head, returning to where Nectaris, Skoll, and Basiluzzo stood. With Jet gone, hopefully the others would just disperse too. <******** this," he muttered, under his breath, sparing only a glance down to his hands.

Too long.

Did Cybele and Ganymede need his help over there, or would they be able to get themselves-- Did Harmonia and Anakeion need backup?
