As soon as the bouncer disappeared the pale-haired girl was facing her again, and Selena tried another attempt at struggling free. Money? Surely this couldn't be about money. Selena didn't personally know any senshi who'd been corrupted, neither had she met any. But she'd heard of them. And that was enough to keep her struggling as a hand came up to her mouth. Why hadn't she thought about screaming before? A muffled shout made its way through the hand, but it wasn't loud enough to alert anyone above the loud music outside. Selena didn't know what was happening, but she did know she was suddenly feeling...tired, as if her energy was seeping away. Was this what it was like? She'd been under the impression that corruption of a starseed required more drastic measures. Her struggling became weaker, her eyes harder to keep open. This wasn't it, it couldn't be. What was the girl doing... Finding herself reliant on the wall behind her to keep herself up, Selena gave a small shout when the agent suddenly released her, unable to support herself on her legs and sliding down onto the utterly disgusting floor. Even her head seemed really heavy as she looked up, confused as to where the green-haired girl had disappeared off to. She was gone? Taking a few moments to try and summon some sort of strength, Selena gave a groan as she strained to push herself up, using the wall for support. She was scared - really scared. Were they not going to leave her alone? How had she ever been so stupid as to think that she could come back and just be normal? Maybe Tallulah was right...maybe she did need help. She had to get out of here. Making her way towards the door, she still had to prop herself up against the wall, hating how jelly-like her legs felt. She waited until a pair of girls entered the toilets, not able to reach out and open the door herself, making her way out and then pausing for a quick rest on the wall just outside. The music was making her head pound, and she felt sick. How was she going to get home like this?

He might have stood and argued the point, he would have done had he still been a captain perhaps. But the worst he bothered to offer was a look that implied irritation at best. “Because I fit in so much less well than the people in uniform.” He growled under his breath. Perhaps if the two officers did something scandalous –everyone- would end up in a better mood, though somehow he doubted it. Watching them, even for a moment was like watching two fires strive to consume each other, fascinating really… though if there was any intent on watching this little ‘social experiment’ it would have to wait and see the results, he had work to do, or at the least a better place to survey the ‘world’ to find. He moved towards the bar without looking directly Ever, not till he reached the bar and ordered something non alcoholic, leaning against it and looking quite out of place, more than a little nerdy, and thoughtful. “Before you laugh.” He said not yet turning to glance at Ilmenite. “I admit I should have looked further into ‘Rave’ than the few things I’ve seen on television that I thought were ‘raves’.”

Ilmenite's eyes lit up as the settled on Zac, his mouth almost immediately splitting into a smile -- and so much for being serious, for being in uniform. It really was that easy, that simple to break down his walls. Well. For Zac anyway. He looked away again, grinning into his ginger ale as he joined in the farce, played along with the stealthy act. He watched officers move amongst the frequently-intoxicated party goers instead of his Zac, posture shifting to be just a bit more casual. "Zed, all you have to do is strip off a few layers and you'll be fine." His grin widened, and his eyebrows went up as he looked sideways to the young man. "Need help?"

Gwen was really getting into the music, so much that she almost lost track of her dancing partner a few times. His question about St. Mag's did not go without an answer, trying to speak over the music without yelling in someone's ear. "Yeah, but I hate it. Lots of crazy girls there, and the nuns are just as crazy too! I'm gonna get out of there someday..." She didn't want to talk about school- she wouldn't have to deal with that until the weekend was over, and for now she just wanted to dance. Gwen caught the movement from the corner of her eye but was still startled when a hand fell onto her shoulder. She wasn't a very tall person but she was able to keep her balance, surprisingly enough, and she would have snapped if the dark-skinned girl hadn't have immediately apologized. “ ‘pologies. It’s a bit crowded, ain’t it?” "Yeah, it's okay..." Gwen said, trying to mask her irritation and unable to ignore the returning drowsiness. She offered the other party-goer a steady shoulder for a moment more, eagerly waiting for her to go so that she could carry on her dance with the dirty blonde-haired boy. 'Dancing sure is exhausting... maybe it's the rave lights, but I'm starting to feel woozy. I'm out of shape...'((It's all good on my end c: ))

The feel of her mouth on him was definitely appreciated--but instead of wanting to go in for the kill, Drew was starting to feel as though he'd run a marathon. Still siphoning away, was she? He might have been amused, but the fact that he couldn't power up to replenish that energy might soon be a problem. That, and there was nothing he loved more than shattering confidence. "Not with your time..."
The bracelet he'd been given upon entering the rave was now twirling lazily around his index finger, one hand on her hip even as he stepped closer. His grip was harder now, fingers sinking in deep enough to hurt, but his grin never changed. "Now, I don't know about that. You're still just a tiny little blip on the radar."
He ducked his head down again, breathing against her ear once more, almost fathoming he could hear her pulse. "Potential? Yes. But no one's going to mourn if you just vanish into the shadows. You're replaceable. Forgettable. Don't ever forget that, my dear."
Drew straightened, lightly patting her cheek in a way that could only be described as condescending.

Out of the corner of her eye, Gypsum noticed the blonde finally make her way out of the bathroom to sink against the wall in exhaustion. Doubleshit. She didn't have time to consider if she was going to lose the contents of her stomach- she had to get lost in the crowd.
Bobbing her head awkwardly to the beat, she waded into the sea of bodies in a fashion that was considerably less than confident. There were so many PEOPLE. Even without the drinks in her system she was fairly certain the combination of dance synth, bass beats and lights would have been dizzying - as it was, it was nearly unbearable. She pressed onward however, blind as she was She had to get lost, she had to...
Her face was starting to turn an uncomfortable shade of green.

Crazy nuns, interesting. What were crazy nuns like? He wondered about that for a moment, weren't they crazy anyway? After all they were nuns, the whole no sex thing and religion thing made him find them crazy anyway. Could they get worse - more crazy? Perhaps so. "Of course you will, for now enjoy the evening."
Watching the approaching officer, he didn't know her name, he recognized her. He'd seen her briefly after being ejected from the Surrounding. Watching her bump into Gwen he almost laughed, it was a good way to distract someone and still gather energy. A nod was given to his fellow officer.
"You ok?" He asked, sounding as concerned as he could even as his free hand reached out to touch another dancer, lingering perhaps longer than was considered proper. Seeking to drain energy from those around while dancing with Gwen, something of a cover for his acts.
"Yeah, a lot of people are here." He finally added, trying to keep involved with things going on.Flags: 4/5 Points: 6 Post: 1 2 3 4 5 6

“If you’re thinking I’ll strip down as much as ‘Him’ you’re sorely mistaken.” He replied struggling to keep the grin from creeping onto his own face, and the blush to boot. Damn it, so much for serious and cranky General-King even if he WAS out of uniform. “At least not in public.” He added half speaking into his own drink.
“This seems to be turning out rather well.” He added with a casual bemused look written on his face, but more than that, there was approval in his eyes. “You’ve both done well with this, I think it’s even working out better than those…aerobic classes I was using for a while.” He chuckled. Never mind that he’d been using his crystal to assist in his own endeavors.
He raised his glass in a toast, though it was aimed at the wall to keep suspicion at a minimum. “Well done.” He offered though the toast was to the wall, and his voice low and casual.

“ Used to smaller crowds, myself.”
Mica shrugged in a sort of “what can you do” way, but her expression – concealed from the girl as it was – didn’t match her action. Instead, as she removed her hand from the girl’s shoulder, she offered her fellow Negaverse soldier a slight nod before craning her head to look at the girl and feigning concern.
“ You don’t look so good. Seen lots of dehydrated people tonight, so you might want to get some water.”
A quick glance around the room and Mica spied a light-haired girl that seemed to be in bad shape. Gesturing vaguely in her direction, she said, “ Case in point. ‘scuse me, I’m gonna check on her.”
Leaving the pair behind, Mica made her way through the crowd, specifically picking a crowded route so she could bump into someone else and try to siphon more energy. Unfortunately she was caught by a bouncer, making her scowl briefly before she made her way to the girl she had seen earlier.
Stopping a distance away, she called out, “ You don’t look good either; seems the booze and body heat’s getting to a lot of people.”
Her tone was something just shy of profession, hinting that it could well take on a no-nonsense tone if necessary.
“ You need water. Want me to help you to the bar, or you want to keep holding up the wall while I get you a glass?”[Flags:1/5] [Score: 3+1]

"You don’t look so good. Seen lots of dehydrated people tonight, so you might want to get some water.” Said the girl that had bumped into her, blocking her view of her dancing partner for a while longer and missing their exchange of head nods thanks to the brightness of the flashing lights. Gwen took in her words, even as she seemed to lock on to a different target all together and left through the crowd again. Gwen couldn't follow her and she moved out of sight, and though she didn't want to admit it, she saw the wisdom in that advice. "You ok? Yeah, a lot of people are here.""Yeah, I'm fine," Gwen lied. She tried to swallow her pride and continue to dance, but it didn't last long. She finally gave in and motioned towards the bar, moving towards it before she was even halfway finished talking. "I'm gonna get a drink or something... I'm parched..." 'And tired as hell now. Rave dancers must have the energy of a super nova or something to keep this up...' She thought to herself, making her way to the bar and thankful to be bumping into the dancers around her every so often, as it disguised how shaky her legs felt. She didn't notice if he was following her or not, as the only thing on her mind was getting some water.

Watching Gwen move toward the bar he nodded his head. "Sounds like a good idea, you do look rather tired. Could be a need for something to drink. Though maybe you should also sit down, just in case." A shrugging of his shoulders and a smile.
While she headed off through the crowd of people he took off in the opposite direction to find someone else, someone new, to dance with. He might have a preference toward his own gender but that hardly mattered right now. So it was another female he found himself dancing with, after noting no date seeming to be around.
Would Gwen get her drink and come back looking for him? He hoped not, as much as he didn't mind her company he did have things to do. This new dance partner was held on to as he took what energy he could from her, while she shouted about how kick a** this rave was. Nodding his head in agreement, not wishing to try and speak up over the music for her to hear him.
Seems he shouldn't have gone for her, or maybe changed tactics, as he was once again busted and this time it was his fifth time so he knew to expect being removed from the dance floor and the rave altogether. Flags: 5/5 Points: 6 Post: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

There was a certain amount of tension in the air; Aurostibite could feel it as he glanced around the room, his hand still brushing absently against the girl's waist. He'd already been flagged by the bouncer four times - something told him that a fifth time would result in his forceful removal from the club, and he could not let that happen.
Around him the noise was almost deafening, the music pounding in his ears, the smell of bourbon, beer, and various perfumes and colognes filling his senses, and Aurostibite leaned down to the girl.
"Sorry, I have to go," he told her, forcing a quick, hopefully mysterious smile as he stepped away. "I've gotta get some air. It's been lovely, thank you."
He grinned and stepped back, disappearing into the crowd. Threading his way through the thick throngs of dancing, kissing, cheering, talking, laughing people, Aurostibite wove his way towards the bar again. Unintentionally his shoulder brushed against someone - the redheaded man from before, the one who had had his mouth crushed against the young woman he stood in front of him.
"Sorry," Aurostibite murmured, slightly embarrassed that he had intruded, but he lifted his chin, giving the redhead a cool, uncaring glance, his hand absently brushing against the other's back as he tried to step past, away from the little group.
But he couldn't help but draw a bit of energy from him anyway in the process.

The initial forceful pull of energy had made Chromite feel a little better, but not enough. Irritation flowing through her veins as much as blood, her plum eyes scanned the surrounding area in search of another victim. Anyone. The unfortunate fact was however that after a night of drink, possible drugs, and dancing there wasn't much energy left for her to take in any sort of fashion. Making her way to the bar the teen girl ordered a glass of water for her suddenly parched throat and intentionally ignoring that Ilmenite was there to avoid any sort of connection between the two and their uniforms, she smiled to recognize Zac. They'd never had any sort of introduction to each other as Chromite and General-King Zinkenite but they'd been to enough outside functions for her to recognize him. Getting her drink she made to head out onto the dance floor for one final pass through, but slipped in something as she stepped away from the bar. The action caused her to reach out to the nearest thing to stabilize herself on. The nearest thing was Zac. Hand on his upper arm, she cursed herself for reaching out instinctively but at the same time couldn't resist the urge to attempt to pull the tiniest bit of energy from someone she knew could easily kill her in the blink of an eye. The danger was too alluring. As soon as the young blonde had as much energy as she dared, she smiled apologetically and mumbling a very quick "oh my god, I'm so sorry" she darted into the throng of still writhing dancers as quickly as she could. He didn’t realize at first what was happening, s strange feeling indeed to be drained and he cleared his throat softly, eyes narrowing meaningfully. He arched an eyebrow watching her vanish into the crowd. “Sorry my –a**-“ He hissed and then shook his head at the drowsiness edged in. “It would be petty I suppose to return that favor later.” He said and turned back to his drink. “She did a good job though, casual touch, move on with a little energy and no real trouble.” He said thoughtful. “As for loosing layers, not here. MAYBE later if your partners in crime haven’t ‘accidently’ drained me first.”

"I don't know who you think you are, buddy," The captain would find his arm grabbed by a large, grumpy looking fellow, in a shirt that read 'SECURITY'. "Grabbin' on girls like that. You some kind of pervert?" He shook his bald head, gesturing to his buddy to grab him as well.
"You're out. Don't give us any trouble, kid." Muttering, the men escorted Benitoite to the exit, and quite rudely shoved him out, slamming the metal door behind and leaving him on the cold, eerily quiet streets.
