Kess's black stare was as intense as always when it met Janice's, though the crooked grin didn't leave her freckled face. "Come off it, we all know you're not stupid enough to come out here without knowing exactly what was going down." The entirety of the Negaverse knew about it, for starters, which should have been a good enough reason for a general to get down here and do her job supervising the newer recruits. Now that she thought about it, she couldn't remember Uranophane doing much in the way of recruitment, lately. The title of 'RAVE' probably should have tipped Janice off, as well.

It wasn't exactly the blonde's game to 'force' anyone to do anything, and as Jan vaguely sneered at Daphne's arrival, Kess raised her brows, tone eerily relaxed. "It must be a lot of work, to have no fun all the time."

Her arm dropped from Jan's side, to exchange her for the bluenette, making a 'buzzer' sound to indicate that she was incorrect. "Daph's been one of my best homies for a few months now," Her grin widened, "Daphne, Jan, Jan, Daphne."

“St. Mag’s, you say? You know, I graduated from there. I guess that means you’re my cute, little underclassman that I should be taking care of?”

Gwen was taken back by the statement, and she was eager to carry on the conversation, but something had obviously caught the upperclassman's attention. "My, my. It looks like I will have to make my exit a bit early. Maybe next time, hm?"

"Uh, yeah, next time!" Gwen called back, watching as she disappeared into the crowd. She mused to herself about the girl she just talked to, wondering why she couldn't be lucky to have met her when she attended St. Mag's. 'How lucky to have gotten out of there... well, if she could do it, so can I!'

"Nice outfit, I wonder though, why Dorothy? Not to say it's odd, I saw a pink panda earlier."

Gwen was once again taken by surprise by a hand to her shoulder, and this time she turned around slowly. Her knees buckled again, but this time she could at least attribute it to just how stunning he looked. Never missing a beat, Gwen put on a brave front, hoping that the rave lights would hide just how much she feared she was blushing. "It's the only outfit I had... not that fitting, really, but it's cute, right?"

Her mind wondered to the panda part and she looked around for it. 'How could anyone have a sillier costume then me?'

"Name's Gwen," Gwen said, stiffing the sudden need to yawn behind a chuckle. She looked around him and noticed that there wasn't a girl, or another guy, clinging to him, and without a thought, she jumped into it. This was, after all, a Valentine day rave. "I don't have a date, and it looks like you don't either?"

'A guy like him is either rolling in the ladies, or gay... but, I can at LEAST try.' Gwen thought to herself, finally catching her breath again and surprised she could with how handsome he was. 'Can't catch a tiger cub without going into the den, right?'

Short, he was petite and slender of build, standing only three inches over five foot. His clothing somehow seemed to fit him, his uniform done of dark indigo and black with silver hints. It seemed to fit him perfectly looks wise, the colors complimenting his fair skin and ash blond hair. Had he known her thoughts he'd have laughed and likely told her that he was gay. But he didn't have a clue, though by her words he had the idea she was interested in him.

"Hmm...no, I'm afraid I lack a date. In fact, I always do." A simple shrug from the ash blond as he let his hand move down her arm slowly. "Your outfit is cute, rather different considering what others here are wearing." Saying this as he looked around them, mild distaste showing in his slate colored eyes. Some of those outfits were so short, but he supposed they were wearing what was considered the norm for such a environment.

"Tell me, what brings you to such a place? Party often?" He might as well make conversation, and hope to distract her from the fact he hadn't given his name.

Gwen almost beamed at the prospect before her, but she could only deepen her smile. Anything else would have made her yawn again, and she didn't want him to think she was uninterested, far from it. She knew she was swooning, overly so, but with no Maddy over her shoulders or a nun on her heels, she wanted to get lost in the moment. 'I'm fifteen years old! I deserve a little fun and excitement...'

"Tell me, what brings you to such a place? Party often?"

"I'd party a lot more, but I keep getting pulled back," Gwen said, shifting weight and doing nothing to pull away from his touch. With her free hand she twirled at her braided bangs, trying to appear interested despite the slightest buckle in her knees. "I was bored, and I thought it'd be fun to get out and have a little excitement. Maybe dance a little?"

She motioned towards the dance floor with the tip of her braid in invitation. 'Maybe a little dance will wake me up. It's not even that late yet...'

Eyes lighting up at the inclusion of Kess, Chromite removed her hands from this 'Janice' person with a wink. "No need to get forceful," she pouted. Then with a coy wink and a shrug moved closer to the blond that had joined them. "Unless it's something you're into." Something told her Janice was definitely not going to be into anything with her, but whatever- She'd gotten what she'd wanted from her. Smirking, she reached out and helped herself to yet another stranger's drink. She was going to end up with ecstasy or something in her blood stream with the way she was going, but that wasn't anything she couldn't handle later.

Eyebrow raising as Daphne joined them, she wanted to rub her hands together in glee but refused to be so obviously the scheming villain. Chromite was fairly sure that would be a dead giveaway and the idea tonight was to be as stealthy as possible. Licking her lips and eyeing Kess she toyed with the idea of attempting to play a little with the foxhawk, Daphne, or a stranger entirely right under the other girl's noses. Scrunching her nose up she giggled at Daphne and reached a hand out place on the bluenette's shoulder.

"Does that mean she's fair game to flirt with? I do so love a leggy lady with a nice a**." She slurred the last bit of her line, playing still on the drunken sorority girl impersonation, but as Daphne hadn't been there for that she didn't put as much effort into it as she had for Janice.

"I see, what keeps you from going out to party more?" He asked, casually. He should be moving away from her and finding someone else to grab energy from. But perhaps if he agreed to dance with her she could act as a cover as he grabbed from those around them, that was a promising idea actually.

"I couldn't turn down someone such as yourself, especially not when this is a Valentines party and you are alone. It would be...improper." A smile as he moved to lead her further onto the dance floor. Making sure enough people were around so he could find someone else to grab energy off of. Knowing she'd never see him again, at least not unless he was draining her energy some night on the streets of Destiny, he was safe to dance with her and hopefully not hurt her too much.

Swallowing the small amount of guilt he let his arm drape itself over her shoulder as his hand settled on the back of her neck, he still was amazed that she was shorter than himself so he could do such a thing. While he draped one arm over her shoulder the other reached out to touch someone near him as he 'bumped' into them. "Sorry." An apology given to the random dancer.

Jade was getting used to this. The loudness of music didn't feel that bad anymore, in fact her feet was swinging a little in the beat of the music. Maybe the night wouldn't be that bad after all.

Suddenly, there was a hand on her shoulder. Jade's body tensed a bit and instantly she turned to see who was touching her. Her deep brown eyes met Fukalite's mint green ones and she blinked couple times of surprise before answering her question.

"Yes, I'm waiting for someone," she told her. She glanced quickly at the surroundings before returning to focus at the girl next to her. "But I think she stood me up."

Her eyes wandered to look at the second glass. Fukalite's tempted fingers didn't go unnoticed either. Should she? Karen had ordered it for herself but knowing Karen, it was probably really for Jade. She had promised to drink one, not two.

Jade reached for the second glass, slided it in front of Fukalite and turned to focus on her own drink. She glanced at the girl from the corner of her eye.

"Go ahead. You seem to want it more than I do."
