"My lips are sealed," said Aurostibite, putting a gloved finger up to his mouth and giving the girl a wink. He could still feel traces of the energy pulsing into his fingertips, and it made him quite satisfied to know that he had gotten as much as he had so far.
Now if only the damned bouncers would stop being so on guard all the time. Three strikes and he still wasn't out, but Aurostibite wasn't sure just how many more they would give him before he was back on the streets. This was a subtle mission, a careful one, and he had to plan his moves with caution, not with recklessness. Ambitious though he was to prove himself to his superiors, the last thing he wanted to do was get reprimanded for being overly confident.
"And you look perfectly capable of taking care of yourself," added Aurostibite, his lips quirking upwards at one side in a half sort of smile. Gesturing towards the dance floor, he said mildly "I leave myself in your care, then. Show me what to do."
His eyes, however, were narrowed just a small amount, carefully scrutinizing her every gesture, every move. Was it just him, or was her face a bit paler, he voice a bit quieter, less filled with her rambunctious, cheerfulness from moments earlier?
Careful...
Aurostibite's gaze flickered downwards, landing on the crossbow, and he gave a small laugh.
"I'd say that seems like a fine idea," he said, and gestured out to the dance floor.

Gypsum was nervous.
She'd heard the rules as stated by Ilmenite, but she had yet to make her move - after all, in her very brief career as a whiney, 16 year old wanna-be superhero, she'd ever only gone one route to get energy. Spoiler: it involved a lot of kicking.
So she stood idly by the bar, nursing a drink (how many had it been? the room was spinning) and feeling worse by the second. Everyone was judging her, she could feel it. It was almost like her mom was in the crowd with them, glaring at her, complaining about her getup and her underage drinking. She didn't want to be a failure, but she kept putting off going out there. The longer she delayed, the more her heart raced. She could hear it pounding in her ears in rhythm to the music. At least it had the decency to be loud.
She had to do something, she had to unfreeze. The weight of her inaction was killing her. She put her drink down - and nearly dropped it - scanning the room blearily for a likely target.

Gwen, who had completely overlooked the fact that he had not given his name at all, had little restraint when it came to socializing, now that she felt comfortable, and she answered his question as they moved closer to the dancing mob. "With homework, angry nuns and their chores around the church, and Maddy, I don't really get much time to get out, much less rave parties and bars." She hardly noticed him touch another dancer until he apologized to him, and despite the cumbersome basket she pulled them deeper into the crowd, unknowingly helping him. She had to yell now, with so many people around her, as she started to sway to the beat and dance. "I hope you don't mind a big crowd! If anyone bumps into us, we'll just dance on their toes, okay?" She said that with complete mirth, just to let those around her know that she was only joking. Not that it'd stop her if anyone was rude to her, or her dance partner. 'This dancing's doing me good... I feel better already!' Gwen thought to herself, getting lost in the music and only taking fleeting glances at the young man that accompanied her on the dance floor. Of course she'd remember then that she hadn't gotten his name, but she let it pass for now. 'I'll ask him again, maybe after some drinks?'

"Nun's, you go to that school?" He couldn't remember the name off the top of his head, but he knew of the school. He didn't know anyone who attended the school though, no reason to since up until recently he hadn't had any friends save but Lily. "It sounds like your a busy person." As was he himself a busy person, though he was used to it by now.
"I don't mind a crowd in the least." Not tonight, tonight he'd try and fit in and deal with all the people. While he let himself move to the music, mimicking her movements, he kept in mind the reason for tonight and what he had to do. Those around them seemed to not mind her little tease about stepping on toes, a good thing it was a tease as he wasn't about to risk getting into some fight or argument.
He'd have asked what her school was like but he didn't want to continue shouting, he'd wind up without a voice by the end of the evening if he did that. So he kept silent as he moved, and as his wandering hand settled briefly on someone else as he and Gwen danced.Flags: 3/5 Points: 6 Post: 1 2 3 4 5

And then someone crossed Gypsum's field of vision, stumbling away from the crowd and toward the doubtlessly disgusting bathrooms. A young woman. A drunk looking young woman. Guen tailed her, unknowingly equally intoxicated. Surely this would be easy. How hard could subduing a drunk person be? And as petite as Gypsum looked in her uniform who would believe she was capable of putting up a fight? Plus, she REALLY had to pee. She inspected the back of the girl's head, thoughts flowing slow as molasses. Blond. Pretty. Possibly even a little shorter than her - it was hard to tell, they were both wearing heels. The music was making her feel giddy and sick all at the same time, and she imagined they oozed through a tunnel of noise and light toward the bathroom door, in perfect time with the beat. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. Focus. She needed to focus. She slipped through the door as the other girl entered before it swung shut behind them. It was dark in here - the only light flickered and cast deep shadows. Good. Now it was only a matter of action. She reached out roughly, so seize her by the shoulder. If she could use a hand to keep her quiet...The room spun. Flags: 1 Points: 0

Andrew waved a hand dismissively as Zac hissed and spat something, no longer listening, no longer caring. "Don't be mad just because you ******** up." He calls, letting Zac go now that his attention has a much more appealing target. "You take a good look around and then tell me you didn't dress all wrong for this sort of thing." The truth hurts, Zacky-boy. Go cry on your boyfriend's shoulder--maybe he'll care and comfort you. Some General-King. His lips twisted derisively into a sneer, making him almost look feral, but before he could do something violent, well..
The bite sent shivers racing up and down his spine, and it was lucky that the pounding bass muted out his growl. That had been better for him than the tongue, and, lazily, his hands settled lightly on her hips even as his mouth dragged itself against the side of her throat. "Go on, then." He laughed, his eyes flashing in the light.
"Show me how much trouble you're worth."

Selena was in a world of her own, smiling dopily to herself as she walking - or stumbled - her way into the toilets. It was dark in here, and the smell was distinctly of urine. She wrinkled her nose, thoroughly unimpressed at the state she was about to get her brand new heels in. She'd have to wash them when she got home. A hand on her arm caused her to turn a little, beginning to grin at the stranger. She was in a happy mood - she might have even considered a kiss. But being roughly shoved against the wall wiped any hint of happiness off of her face as her back collided with the disgusting wall, head hitting it with a hard 'thud!'. "Hey!" Disorientated by the blow to her head, her vision was blurry as she looked at the girl attacking her (although that may well have just been the alcohol in her bloodstream). She picked out some sea-green shade of hair and a vaguely military style outfit, her own hands coming up to try and shove the girl away. Vision steadying itself, Selena gave a hard shove, and was surprised with the resistance her arms met. She was pretty tiny, but she wouldn't have described herself as weedy. And she wouldn't have described this girl as heavy. Something wasn't right here. Taking another brief glance over the outfit, something didn't click - it was fairly mundane for a rave. And military? Selena tried to give another shove, but again found it difficult, instead progressing to wriggling as a hand came up to try and cover her mouth. What did this girl want with her!? And then a word slipped into her head. A word that made her freeze as she whispered it under her breath, "Negaverse." A bouncer had since poked his head around the door, alerted by Selena's call. But the blonde was frozen to the spot, trapped by the lieutenant's grip as the bouncer frowned and left again. She had to get out of here! Was this because she was a senshi - did the girl know? She didn't want her starseed harvested, or worse, corrupted.

xo -- k a i r i if this isn't ok, I can edit! " s**t." Normally, the mild mannered girl abhorred cursing, but how many times could she get caught in her own game? There was NO WAY she could have just said... Well at least this one had the right look to be some kind of senshi. Last she checked, people didn't go waving the Negaverse card willy nilly. She must be hearing things. "Maybe I just need some money, ok?" she lied quietly, struggling against her to hold her to the wall. Thank goodness for being powered - drunk or no, this girl who had seemed to be a lightweight wasn't messing about. What the hell had she been thinking? Not very much at all, clearly, and the alcohol was starting to make her stomach heave. Why wouldn't the room stop moving? As if that weren't bad enough, the girl's initial outburst had alerted the bouncer. If she made another noise, the game was up... Luck seemed to be on her side this time though, and she subdued her target with a hand over her mouth. "Shhhh." She could feel the flow of energy, and she kept it up for as long as she dared before leaving her propped against the wall and edging back out into the crowd. Flags: 1 Points: 5

Petalite's blue eyes flicked to the side to watch Zac finally escape the redhead's grasp. Mission accomplished, but now she found herself dancing with the devil, and a very small part of the Captain thought she just might be in over her head. But no, she'd see this through, teasing and being a minx were what she was best at and she wasn't going to let him beat her.
She didn't bat an eyelash when she felt his hands on her hips , but the lips dragging across the sensitive skin of her neck did elicit a sound that was something between a gasp and a moan. Licking her lips she pulled herself together before his lips turned her into putty in his hands. Pressing closer to him she twisted his hair around her fingers while her other hand slid over his shoulder until her hand was splayed across his back. Time to suck away some more energy, she had to remind herself that the goal was to not end up sleeping with him. A difficult goal that went against her nature.
His words made her grin and leaning in she caught his ear lobe between her teeth, she hadn't missed the fact that her bite had seemed to get his motor running. Her teeth scraped against his skin as she pulled away just enough so she could look into his face a smirk playing on her lips. "Oh, I'm worth all kinds of trouble, but I'm starting to think you're not worth my time." She took a couple steps back from him without breaking his hold on her hips. "I mean, you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?" She took another step back, this one taking her just out of his reach, her eyes daring him to come after her. She was playing with fire, and she just hoped to God she didn't get burned.((Flags: 0 Points: 3 + 3))

There was something sticky about the hand of the obviously over-the-limit young woman as she hung on Daphne, causing the bluenette to subtly dance out of range. If the girl was dumb enough to get intoxicated to the point that she needed to lean on anyone and everyone to keep herself steady she really did need a hard reality check. And by 'hard reality check' Daphne pretty much meant falling face first onto the floor. "Catch of the Day is pretty rich considering your companion but hey, I really don't know you. You definitely don't know me." And the sun didn't rise in the sky every day, now did it? "This is a really nice party though so I'm just gonna say hi nice to meet you, pretend you didn't really insult my honor, and drag my date here off for a dance. Don't worry, I'm sure Kess'll come back later and you guys can snipe at each other all you want." Charming, keep it charming, do not bite her head off. Do not. It was just so hard to not rise to the challenge of that smarmy smirk that Audrey had seen almost every day of her high school career, making her want to smack it right off that smart face. Stupid Janice. In fact she took the drunk girl who had not been introduced, trying to spin her back towards the sullen scientist with a grin. "Here. Make friends!" Turning back to Kess her smile was radiant. "Dance? Please? I will make puppy eyes."

"Yes." Jan narrowed her eyes at Kess's blue-haired buddy. "We're complete strangers. We do not know each other. I get it already, no need to keep reminding me." She chuffed a bit, taking a step or two back in order to assert her newly-regained personal space. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you've had more to drink than this stupid b***h who just about wrecked my shirt." Clearly, she had no interest in Making Friends with this one, especially not at Daphne's persistence. Then, quirking her head back to Kess, her frown twitched and faltered just a tad. "Though I admit I spoke a moment too soon," she continued, with utterly gritted teeth. It was almost an apology. A rarity. But her respect for her protege managed to outweigh the unpleasant mutual first impression she and Kess's companion had made. "So enjoy your dancing, I guess. I need something caffeinated." Hopefully there was a drink table somewhere around here. It was hard to make much out through the crowds of sweaty people. Jan was well aware that coffee would be out of the question in a place like this, but hopefully she could get her hands on something that could give her some energy without also being some variety of drug.

Whatever tension had lingered in the blonde's lanky frame disappeared at Janice's grudging words, her wide grin threatening to completely overtake her freckled face. Leaning across the space between them, Kess affectionately chucked the scowling intellectual under the chin, before commenting, "They'll take care of you at the bar. Tell Rino that 'Kess says it's on the house,' yeah?"
She felt the snap of one of her suspenders, and shot Daphne a musing look over her shoulder. "Aren't you keen." Glancing from Janice, to the girl who seemed just a little too tipsy [Kess was quite familiar with tipsy broads, after all], she lifted one shoulder in a shrug.
"I'll catch y'all later. Go out on a limb and get yourself into some trouble, Jan." A wink and she allowed herself to be pulled away.

Mica spotted a boy in a blue trench coat – a fellow agent, she suspected – dancing with someone not too far away. She figured that he provided enough of a distraction that a little brush on her part wouldn’t be noticed by the girl he was dancing with. Threading her way through the crowd, Mica allowed bumped by another dancer as she got close, stumbling against the girl, catching herself with a hand on her shoulder.
“ ‘pologies.” She muttered. “ It’s a bit crowded, ain’t it?”
She allowed her hand to linger as she seemed to struggle to regain her footing in the jostling of the crowd, finally removing it after several seconds.(( If that's not cool, lemme know and I'll change it!))

Chromite was not actually drunk, and though the miss grab at the bluenette should have had her on her face, the reaction was instead a half-a-step forward and then careful dance backwards. Too graceful for any one with even half a drink in their system. Smiling all the same she shrugged and shook her head at the offer of making friends with anyone that wanted to refer to her as a 'stupid b***h'. "This mistress of all traps clearly doesn't want to be friendly," she said in a cool and even tone. With that she winked and waved her fingers at Kess, "thanks for the great party, sexy." Then she danced backwards and into the crowd to find another victim. A nameless nobody that would pay for the insults that had just been thrown at her but above her head, like she wasn't even there. Which, truthfully, hurt more than being actually called anything. If she'd had any inkling of who Janice really was, the feeling wouldn't have been as strong and she'd have understood it, but as it was she didn't- And the lieutenant was now harboring quite the grudge. A grudge that she would take out on the next a*****e she could find. It happened that he was standing against the wall to the right of the speakers and was using the deafening thump of the electronica to say terrible things to near-by women in an attempt to get them to agree to things that they didn't really want to do. His build was that of a stereotype movie jock and just the sneer on his face made Chromite want to murder him on the spot. Instead, she was going to do something rash and dumb and most likely fail. Skipping over to him, she wrapped her arms about his waist and smiled up at him. "Come play with me?" Pointing at the darkest spot closest to them, she narrowed her eyes and scanned the area to be sure there weren't others with either the same idea she had(or others with the idea her newest mark had) and then pulled on him to follow her with an exaggerated sway to her hips. Once covered by the dark, she grinned at him and reaching up to give him a kiss forcefully on the lips, she snaked her hand to his hip and then places below. Clenching the fist that held his happiest of places she clamped her free hand to his mouth and pinned his head to the wall. "Try to yell and I pull them clean off." Then she got to work with a bigger and more genuine grin then she'd had all night. [Flags: 1/5] [Points: 3+5 = 8]

Stumbling back to the bar, Gypsum noticed another wristband-less young lady being chatted up by a fellow Negaverser at the bar. The words 'don't encroach on my poach' didn't even occur to her as she meandered over, clumsily catching herself on the woman's shoulder. The gesture was less than innocent, though. Drunk from her last little infraction, all she could think about was that she needed more. More energy. ...Probably not more alcohol, though. She gave the stranger her best doe-eyed expression. It wasn't very hard. She also shot a cursory glance at the person she assumed was a fellow officer- and immediately regretted it. The rapid change in attention just made the room sway even more. The music - which had been pleasantly loud earlier - was starting to... Oh, god, was she going to be sick? Flags: 1 Points: 8 (5 + 3)
