かろなしかぐやろいヴぁす Let those who face me know.... Karonashi ducked under the rubble and sighed. "The damage to this village is quite extensive." He looked down at the sheet of paper that he had finally resorted to so he could keep track of all the buildings. He glanced around the Library first, taking in the sight of several destroyed buildings. His head shook, the ponytail swaying back and forth behind him. "Eighteen now, not counting the Sake Building." His eyes widened - though he had almost finished the survey that the new Kazekage had ordered, he had one more place to examine. He turned on his heel and jumped onto one of the few surviving buildings in this area and took off.

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi | ChuuninTeacher { Sand } Tactical~ David walked up to the village library. This was going to be his last stop before heading out to the dunes as ordered, he'd just pick up his headband later. Upon attempting to step inside however, he found a large hand blocking his way. An ANBU guard assigned to keep civilians out of the library... This lack of a headband was getting beyond annoying. "I'm afraid civilians aren't allowed in the library kid." The man spoke, his tone signifying that he thought David was indeed some brat from the village. Backing up two steps David fixed the man with a glare. "I am not a civilian. I am David Greyson, chuunin of Sunagakure." He growled, the sand around his feet whipping up around him, and just hovering in a ring around him. After staring for a grand total of three seconds, the ANBU vanished into the shadows without a word. Apparently that meant David could enter. Seems the Ichibi was useful for more than just beating people into submission then. With the guard out of the way, David stepped into the building and began browsing the racks, searching for his old friend, the big a** sand scroll. After searching for about five minutes, he finally found it. The one scroll containing almost all known sand techniques, and now it was his once more, as he stuffed it into his satchel. Wandering for a few more minutes, David found himself in the katon section of the library. Before the chuunin exams, he had managed to pull off one katon jutsu, proving he had an affinity for the element. Maybe, it was strong enough now to work consistently? Grabbing a starter scroll of E and D rank jutsu, he stashed that in his bag as well. He'd have to try it out when he had the time. Done in the library, the boy left, walking off down the road towards the dunes. The new kazekage had said he had a student waiting there, he'd probably kept him waiting long enough. But then, he didn't really know what he was meant to teach the boy. And didn't people usually get squads? Maybe they were giving him the boy as an apprentice or something. That could be interesting. David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi | ChuuninTeacher { Sand } Tactical~ Entering the library, it didn't take David long to find his way back to the jutsu section. Poking around, he quickly located a scroll of C rank fire jutsu to add to his collection, just in case he couldn't find one on the move. He would need it for himself, and possibly the girl too, if they decided to have him teach her. Why she was with them was a curious matter though. Why would the big bad death dealers as they called themselves want a little girl? He'd find that out later. Moving along down the shelves, David grabbed two universal jutsu scrolls. One for E and D rank jutsu, and one for C ranks. That was an area he'd neglected far more than he liked. It was odd feeling to be a chuunin, yet not knowing the basic wall walking technique. The next stop was Doton, where he grabbed two more scrolls. E-D and C just as before. With his jutsu scrolls stashed in his by now rather stuffed satchel, the boy moved on to the taijutsu section, where he grabbed up a scroll on the desert fist style. He didn't know much about taijutsu, but it was necessary, and Karo would need it. Thinking for several moments, David nodded to himself. That was all he needed, and he probably wouldn't even get the chance to use it all. So, the boy headed for the counter, pulling all of the scrolls out and setting them on the counter for the librarian to check over. Once he was checked out, David's eyes caught a rack of storage scrolls to the side for keeping scrolls in.. Grabbing one, he unfurled it on the counter and set each of the scrolls on one of the seals, grabbing the E-D fire scroll he'd gotten earlier and putting it on a seal as well. With all of them set, he began to go down the line, activating each seal to store away the scrolls for later use. With all of the scrolls stashed away, David tucked the storage scroll into his satchel, gave the librarian a nod, and left, finally headed towards the village gate. Stopping for a second outside the library however, he focused for a moment as a sand clone formed from the ground before him. Untying Bel's headband from his belt, he handed it to the clone, and pulled the boy's file from his satchel, handing it over as well. The clone immediately headed off towards the training facility, having seen Jade there, and the real David headed towards the gate. Akura slowly paced into the library. " Yea... The ban on training with this stuff is lifted. So expect a lot of people here." He told the librarian; letting her know that it wouldn't be long before she would have the area flooded with Students, Genin and everyone else in the village like bloodhounds wanting to train. Thankfully, Akura got a head start and managed to get there first. " Were is it, were is it..." He mumbled and grabbed a book that was on the top shelf. " Here we go." He he said snapping his fingers, and with that, he left the office and headed toward the Mission Hall looking for something interesting to do before he started training and messing around with his body.

かろなしかぐやろいヴぁす Let those who face me know....
Karonashi wandered through the scroll libraries, hunting for the scrolls that he knew were there. He grinned when he finally found them - the scrolls dedicated to the Sunaton techniques. With all of the instructors around here occupied or distracted, he would have to teach himself - and he needed these to do that. He grabbed the scrolls for teh Genin and Chuunin rank techniques - they would take him long enough to learn that he wouldn't need to worry about the Jounin level techniques for a while, if he could even use them. Then as he was leaving he passed by the Taijutsu section - and he decided that he might as well have a basic scroll from there as well, so picked up a copy of the Academy and Genin ranked styles that were openly available. After he checked them out, he headed over to the training grounds to practice there.

Akura walked into the library, coming in from the training facility. He went directly for the weapon jutsu section, where he came about a style called the ' Tetsu no Ryu '. ' what's this...' He asked himself, seeing the cover image for the style, which intreagued him. " This might be fun to keep around. " He thought opening the style scroll, reading the style briefing. " The Iron Dragon Style... Feudal Sword Play...This.. is a keeper. " He mumbled reading over the scroll, stuffing it in his pocket before turning around, going to get other things around the library picking up a Doton Scroll and a Universal Jutsu Scroll.

With the scrolls placed safely in his pockets and streched a little. " I have two hours to learn jutsu, so I better make those two hours count. " The boy spoke to himself bolting out of the library, not really needing anything else from the place so he'd leave to the Dunes to train in seclution, away from everyone in the village that could disturb him.

___________A X E L___ S T O R N ___________________________________________ _________[Genin] [Suna] [31 Chakra] [460 Gold] [Ninjutsu Specialist - Profession] [Summoning Specialist - Ninja Type] [Chakra Control - Ninja Type] Sitting on top of a building in Suna, the library, a speck of red could be spyed on from ways away. Closer inspection on whatever that speck was one would find that it was actually a person; the red being that person's hair. His feet dangled from the place where he was sitting and his right hand rested on his forehead, holding on to various strands of hair, dozing off at what seemed to be the millions of trillions of small sand fragments of the dessert that surrounded the village in every direction. He slowly removed his hand off his hair; making the blood-red locks fall beside his equally red eyes which seemed to be in a trance. His eyelids slowly closed, the boy took in a deep breath and kicked his legs back, bringing his back to the very hot concrete ceiling of the building, the library. He had laid down and just as he did this a gentle breeze came over carrying sand everywhere, eventually on his white shirt, which he simply dusted off.
He slid his somewhat pale arms to his forehead so as to shield his eyes from the sorching sun of the desert. With his eyes now covered the boy's mind began to drift away; he saw the desert; his home, his parents everything he had known up to that point within his mind. He heard voices as well, they called out to him to come to them; to use his jutsu, to prove to the world that he was the best there was out there and that no one could surpass the power of the Storn clan; but then again, the ' clan ' wasn't even a clan, it was more of a family that couldn't be recognized as a clan for protection reasons; would the world know the secrets they held, their life might be altered forever without recognition
" I'll try it now." He uttered slowly, his soft voice and almost unexistent since those words where mostly mouthed then anything else. He shifted his center of balance to his back, rocking his torso forward and then letting it fall back quickly, raising the lower half of his body to the air. He put his hands on the hot concrete and then pushed against it before it could burn him. The boy's body gracefully flew through the air; his red hair everywhere around him, his body feeling as light as a feather. He had gone from laying down, to a flip, in less than five seconds; he was trully impressive. The boy's body came back to the normal possition; his legs in the lower part, his head above, and then his legs touched the ground gently, completing the movement.
" I should try to get some scrolls before meeting up with the Kazekage; that way I can at least know something. I don't want to look like another useless Genin. " Axel said in a very sure, and stern, tone of voice, preparing himself to train before going off to meet the Kazekage. It was customary of his clan to try and impress the Kazekage before formal training and since he was the only one of his family that did not have a summoning at the moment he would have to impress the kazekage - David - some other way; and Ninjutsu would do the trick, but he only had one element, Sunaton, so it would be somewhat hard to actually impress someone with the Ichibi inside of them by manipulating sand; but Axel would just try and do his best with whatever ninjutsu techniques he would find there. Taking in a deep breath the boy would lower his body and grab a pretty large scroll that he had carried with him and placed it on his back.

___________A X E L___ S T O R N ___________________________________________ _________[Genin] [Suna] [31 Chakra] [460 Gold] [Ninjutsu Specialist - Profession] [Summoning Specialist - Ninja Type] [Chakra Control - Ninja Type] The scroll hit his back lifting up a bit of dust from the back of his white shirt. The scroll was actually placed on a gold holster that belonged to the boy's clan; something that seemed to be pretty cool-looking for a untrained genin. Now that the large scroll was in place the genin ran through a string of seals and jumped off the ceiling toward the streets bellow. In mid air he placed both of his hands together as he came down; the hair moving backwards due to the wind; clearing his face of hair; leaving his soft skin to be kissed by the sun. He focused chakra on to this hands and an array of red chakra phazed through his body; focusing on his hands. The chakra began to mold itself from the hands to the air in front of him, making a deep red array, which was a circle with two triangles on the inside; at the sides of the circle ancient inscriptions could be seen from a long lost language.
The light of the chakra was blasting Axel's face as he let out a smirk "Kin: Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" The young Genin roared as he neared the ground, but the circle array he had crafted with his chakra soon disappeared revealing nothing from it; meanwhile the by standers looked at the young kid falling, scratching their head as they saw the array disappear. " s**t s**t s**t. " The genin cursed, shifting his body weight back to his legs, making his body arched as he fell so that it would react like a spring as soon as he hit the ground; jumping back and landing relatively safe. And so his body did; as soon as his legs his the ground he moved all of his weight to his feet and then pushed back; moving all of the kinetic energy from the fall away from his body, leaving the young boy relatively unhurt.
Now safe in front of the library the boy wipped some dust off him and streched his arms. " That was interesting. I could have gotten hurt but 'eh. The boy very uncarringly said looking to the side; some villagers looking at him dumbfounded as to first off how he did that; and second of all why he didn't care that he could have gotten severly hurt, but Axel didn't care about his body for whatever reason he may have he just wanted to show off his physical abilities; or his aerodynamic abilities since he wasn't all that physically strong but he surely was agile to make up for it.

___________A X E L___ S T O R N ___________________________________________ _________[Genin] [Suna] [32 Chakra] [60 Gold] [Ninjutsu Specialist - Profession] [Summoning Specialist - Ninja Type] [Chakra Control - Ninja Type] With his acrobat session now over the genin turned around; his red hair flowing behind him, and faced the entrence to the library; clenching his fists as he saw it. His action wasn't out of rage, it was out of nervousness, he was nervous of what he would find inside; he was nervous about not being able to fufill what he wanted to attain, and more importantly he was nervous of not being able to hold up his family's name. To the Storn, their legacy was everything, without their pride, they were nothing to themselves and Axel knew that very well and he had a faint idea of what fate awaited him if he didn't manage to do something as a ninja; to do something for his village, he was well aware of the possible fate that awaited him, disownment, banishment by his family, something that he had seen happen before; but being part of the main family, he was afraid even worse things might fall upon him, and he didn't want to wait to see his theory become proven - or disproven.
Axel shook his head, banishing those thoughts from his mind, and soon realizing it he laughed internally at the irony; he, banishing something from himself, " The Irony. " He chuckled; talking to himself, taking a firm not-so-confident step toward the entrence; his body shuttering with anxiety. A few moments past, almost as if he was having a staring contest with the door; eventually the heat would get to him and he dropped a drop of sweat, knocking him out of his semi-trance state, making him shake his head. " Man up.." He whispered to himself, taking in a deep breath, taking another step toward the library, and another, and another, his steady pace quickly turning into a trop toward the large marble doors of the library in the said, before long running out of sheer anxiety and thirst for improvement. Reaching the doors he pushed them open, his head lowered, the front of his hair covering his face.
The Librarian raised an eyebrow seeing the youngster's face covered by the blood-red hair. He raised his head, the hair falling by the sides covering his left eye and the left side of his face in general; revealing two things: his right eye which pierced the librarian with a gaze; and the smirk on his face. He breathed heavily, anyone whom was inside might think he was running from the other side of the village, but in reality he had been in the sun all morning long; those two flips and the relatively short run inside took a toll on him because his body was running on little to no fluids. " I made it. " He said in a pretty high tone, earning him a shhh sound from the librarian and a quick glare from her as well. He smiled nervously at the elderly woman, just what you expected from a library, a bitter old lady with little to no patience for young people walking in and making noise.
After that loud, by the librarian's standarts at least, entrance he lowered his levels of pride and walked toward the desk, showing submission with his body language. Upon reaching the desk he rested his arms there by making the elbows move to opposite sides, letting his hands meet. " Yes excuse me; I'd like some training scrolls; Sunaton if possible. " He spoke in a neutral tone, or trying to maintain a neutral tone so that his nervousness wouldn't seep through, which thankfully it didn't. The librarian nodded and brought the boy two jutsu, one D rank and the other E ranked and she placed the scrolls by her side. " That'll be 400 gold coins. " She told him in a rather cold and uncarring tone to the boy, apparantly she just wanted the money. " Four-Hundred? For two low level scrolls?! That's a rip off!" Axel protested, raising his tone of voice; the people in the library telling him to shut up with their sounds, the librarian just chuckled at their reaction. " No money, no training. " She grabbed the scrolls and turned around, a certain cold grin in her face, which just unsettled Axel. " Fine fine here's your money; just give me those scrolls. "
With that said Axel, not very willingly, took money out of his pocket and slammed it on the desk. Hearing him the librarian nodded and placed the scrolls on the desk. " Have a nice day. " She sarcastically told the genin as he grabbed the scrolls. " Break a leg. " He replied, stuffing the scrolls into his pockets and walking out of the library after that very unappealing exchange with the librarian.

 | Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile ||Back on the hot and dusty streets of the Sunagakure, Shinji's excitement got the best of him and he began to run to the library, eager to collect the scrolls and the marker requested so that Yasashi could get to work on upgrading Forza. Tracing his way back to the Kazekage's tower, Shinji looked around for a bit, looking for the Library, but wasn't able to find it right away. Thankfully, he was not the only person walking around, and so Shinji was able to get directions from a nice young lady who Shinji had singled out from the crowd. Following her instruction, Shinji found the library right where he was told it would be, but was surprised at the state of disrepair the outside of the library was in. sure, the Sunagkaure had hundreds of stone structures weathered by the wind and sand for years... but the state of this building was a degree or two... or three beyond simple wear and tear.
Walking into the building, Shinji was immediately assaulted by a musty odor, a combination of a static, unkempt, and dusty environment. with the door flinging open, Shinji had to struggle to close it properly again as it creaked and cracked its way back into a closed position, or at least the closest thing to as it was clearly falling off it's hinges. Looking around, Shinji found that the inside was no better then the outside appearance, and certainly it smelled much more disturbing inside then it did outside. Dusting off a nearby map which showed him that the ninja scrolls for rental were in the basement... Shinji wondered just how dusty the basement of an already dusty building would be, but proceeded anyway.
Feeling the floors creak beneath each step, Shinji couldn't help but be depressed by the low quality of the library. Sure, it had books, but who would ever want to come in to get them when the building looked like this. Then there was the question of who would even let this place get this bad. Finding a door down to the basement, Shinji proceeded down the creaking stairs and almost fell as his foot went straight through the wood of one of the steps. Luckily, Shinji was able to catch himself on the railings, but even those creaked under his weight, prompting him to step lightly from there on out. Seeing a desk near the bottom, Shinji noticed that there was an old woman behind the counter, with glasses at least 2 inches thick, seemingly reading a book. Looking at her however, Shinji wasn't even quite sure she was breathing... she was remaining perfectly still and made no notice of Shinji whatsoever.
After waiting at the desk for a few second with no response, Shinji started to think perhaps that it was a statue and reached out to poke her, only to have his hand quickly slapped away. "hey! hands off young man! What do you want?" Surprised that the old lady was actually still alive, the library's state of disarray suddenly made sense if this lady was it's caretaker. "heh, sorry about that. I'm looking to rent a few scrolls... mainly sealing techniques." without even looking him in the eye, she responded curtly... "No headband, no scrolls." Cursing himself in his mind for forgetting once again that he hadn't received his paperwork or Suna headband, Shinji doubted that he could count on the ANBU to bail him out this time...
However... a devious smile came across Shinji's face as he dug into his vest and pulled out his Iwagakure headband, holding it up in front of the woman from a distance, purposely taking advantage of the woman's seemingly extreme myopia ... "You mean this?..." Finally looking up, the old woman seemed to examine the headband carefully, but Shinji could see that she was clearly squinting her eyes trying to get a clear image of the headband.... "Bah... go ahead and get what you want, I'll ring up the cost when you get back." Smiling to himself, Shinji replaced his headband and went off to the shelves, walking carefully through the rather shaky and dusty rows of shelves holding various scrolls.
Finding the sealing scrolls, Shinji began to walk into the appropriate corridor when suddenly a twinge of pain struck his body, an intense sharp pain presenting itself in his head as a distraction, causing him to suddenly wince and bring his hand up to his head. In the process however, Shinji actually managed to nudge the nearby shelf and to his horror, he saw it begin to tip over. reaching out quickly, Shinji just barely caught the shelf in time to stop it from tipping over completely and managed to restore it to it's former balance, albeit an unstable balance. Not wanting to remain in this death trap much longer, Shinji located the necessary scrolls and two extra scrolls for himself... two C-ranked Katon ninjutsu he intended to learn and exited the corridor with haste, bringing them back up to the desk and presenting them to the old woman.
Sighing heavily, the old woman put her book down and proceeded to examine the scrolls one at a time, going over the markings on the side one after the other for a painstakingly long time and Shinji stood impatiently waiting for her to give him the total. "4,600 gold please" Unsure of where his money was going, as clearly it was not going to the library's upkeep, Shinji was hesitant, but doled out the appropriate amount on the old woman's desk and assured her it was all there. However, the old woman was not satisfied with his word, and Shinji had to wait a painful 20 minutes of watching the woman count his gold coins one at a time at an excruciatingly slow pace. When she was finally done, she drew all the coins together and slid them into a chest at her feet, wrote Shinji a receipt and handed it to him.
After that, the old woman simply picked up her book and started reading again, leaving Shinji to wonder if she would say anything else or clear him to leave... but after a minute of silence, Shinji simply took the scrolls, tucking them away in his outer garment pockets and exited the library with haste, eager to leave the building. as soon as he was out of the building, Shinji then ran back to the marketplace which was back near Yasashi's shop.

Raphael walked quickly into the library and to the front desk. His gait was that of purpose, and those who knew of his family within the large village disregarded him completely marking him off as another militant nut from the "beer" family. Raphael loved how his last name was the word for beer, and how it was even spelled and pronounced the same. He had always found it interesting that his family had such a last name despite it being against their rules to take any alcoholic beverage. ' I'll have to break that rule someday. ' Raphael thought to himself, smiling at the thought. He stopped at the front desk and placed his left hand on it, his right resting it's forearm on the joint between his belt and his saber's sheath. It was a defensive position, but Raphael could tell it was off putting to some of the other shinobi in the room. He sighed and removed his arm slowly. He didn't want a fight, and in truth he wasn't that great of a swordsman. It was mostly a symbol of rank, and a gift that every male member of his family got upon graduating from the academy, so he'd had it for well over 6 years, roughly about 9. he just never had the decency to do much with his time. Especially since his family took such a strong stance about that woman having been the Kazekage. Then Jade had appeared and Raphael was told to preform well for the village, then David took over after Jade's disappearance. Raphael didn't know the specifics, he just knew that one left, came back, then the other took over, and in a jumble of things, the incompetent woman and the great leader both left, and now David was in charge. David was known to use the Sunaton techniques, but other than that Raphael knew much little else other than he was three years younger. " I'd like to withdraw some Sealing scrolls. Only two please. " Raphael said, taking 400 gold out of his belt pouches. " Basic Storage seal, and Hiku seal. " Raphael said smiling. He had a little test he wanted to play with using both of these seals.

( I'm already post committed since I typed that last post, I can't turn around and just change it all. Really need to man up and read Cobra's wall post descriptions when he walks into an area right before me... )
" Seals? Second person today. " The woman said, turning to walk to the scroll section. She grabbed a couple of scrolls and returned carrying one in either hand. " Here, they are fairly simple scrolls. Maybe you'll find some interesting use for them. " The woman said, picking up a newspaper that seemed just as old as she was. " Thank you very much. " Raphael said, his usual smirk crossing his face as he put his last hundred gold in his coin pouch. " You might want to do some missions at the mission hall. It's on the other side of town. " The woman said, sliding a piece of paper across the counter and tapping it with her marker. " It is at this address. " She said, sighing as she adjusted her glasses. " Thank you. " Raphael said as he turned to leave the library.

Groceries in tow, Jin walked into the library rather briskly, narrowly escaping the dust storm beginning to rage outside. "Phew!" he said aloud as the door was forced shut by gale force winds behind him. Dusting himself off, he walked up to the head librarian waiting patiently for a response from her. At last, she looked up from her book and spoke to him however, she was not so polite. With a few menacing thoughts rolling through his head, he decided to just let it go for the time being. "I'm new here and I needed just a few history books as well as a map of Suna. If I'm to pass this immigration test tomorrow, I might need to know more about Suna than I already do. Think you could...." Before he could finish his sentence however, a map folded into a brochure was thrown at him, and her scrawny index finger pointed him towards the history section. This was the only floor he was allowed on, but for now he didn't make a fuss about it. Nodding in thanks, he made his way to a table.
Setting his bags down and the brochure, Jin picked up four books on Suna's history. The place to him looked like a wreck, some of the books he picked up he took great care to hold afraid he'd tear them apart just by gazing at them. Deciding to transport them one at a time to his table, he dusted each one and first unfolded the map to look at. It seemed for the most part, nothing about Suna had changed since his last visit save for new housing developments and government projects. Taking a moment to familiarize himself with the map, he dug into one of his bags and bit into an apple, taking his time with what was in front of him.

After memorizing the map, the man read the books on Suna's history. It was then that he noticed something that continued to pop up. In each historic civil war or even shinobi war, there was mention of a shinobi graveyard. Yet on the map he memorized, there was none to be found. "It clearly exists, that much is true. The question is where the hell is it?" It wasn't long however, until Jishaku found the answers he was looking for. In accounts of the tombs, the texts continuously mentioned how difficult it was to navigate through them. Basically, it was a network of mazes and dead ends meant to deter those unfamiliar with it to enter, or to even corner those there without permission. "That means they have to be underground. Topside there everything's pretty out in the open given Sunagakure's landscape, and the only place they could get away with an intricate maze is to build one underground. If I could get access to this thing, and figure it out, I'll be able to navigate the city virtually unseen. Perfect."
Returning the books to their appropriate places on the walls, Jishaku nodded to the librarian with a smile on his way out. It was time for him to do a little work, but first he had to drop his groceries at his apartment.
