Fangnyl
Vanguard Cadet

MOOD: Confused/afraid
ACTION: huddling near Aliez

Fangnyl had no idea what was going on. The moment they'd landed and people started getting angry and fighting, he'd, shamefully, tried to make himself smaller. To not be noticed. Everything was happening so fast, and he needed to catch his breath, observe, and—

There were Aliez and Vyn, being affected by some kind of magic. He sprinted over, nearly colliding with Aliez, but managing to stop himself in time. He huddled near, nodding to Vyn.

"What is happening?" he whispered, eyes darting around, "Strange place, people attacking us, what? I didn't hear any of it..."

Amsvartnir
Squire of Cosmos

MOOD: Confused and mildly irritated
ACTION: hugging Murikabushi

Amsvartnir was, rather abruptly, dropped, rather rudely, into a strange place. Now, this wasn't wholly unusual. It came with the territory of being some kind of magical being. Other magical beings imposed their wills upon you whether you liked it or not.

But come on, man! He'd just been starting to finally eat something for the day, happily chowing down on chicken mcnuggets he'd gotten before heading out on patrol. And now he'd had to, rather hastily, shove them in subspace after only eating three of them and choking on half of the fourth he'd took a bite of when he'd been teleported.

He swallowed and coughed, looking around, eyes wide at the Knight who was—attacking a bunch of aliens? They seemed like some kind of people he should know about, but judging by the way everyone else was reacting to that jerk's hostility, he was going to assume that they were... well. Not "nothing to worry about" per se, but at the very least, not completely in the wrong from whatever... had happened, there.

Scanning around, he saw someone he recognized—and his heart leapt. Murikiabushi! He grinned and ran over, waving to Ida as he dove at Murikabushi, and, rather adorably but also rather assumingly, jumped into his arms and wrapped him up in a big hug.

"Thank God, someone I know," he breathed out, feeling relieved. "I—what is happening? Red carpet? Robots?"

ANDESINE
Negaverse Lieutenant

MOOD: “………Really?”
ACTION: Judging™ Terebellum and also this party.

Wait, what?!

Andesine had messed up, letting her attention fall away from the alien senshi whose tail the other lieutenant had tripped over. But, well, Andesine had had other Chaos coworkers to introduce herself to, and since the alien freak hadn’t been attacking, said introductions had seemed much more necessary. The shouted incantation and quick gesture made her go loose in the hips, shifting into a stance from stage combat classes past that would allow her to move quickly around whatever the senshi did to them.

…………Which honestly wasn’t much, all things considered. As the senshi hit the ground and cradled her arm, Andesine couldn’t help but chuckle. Weren’t these alien freaks supposed to be terrifyingly powerful? And this one couldn’t even use her powers correctly? What a pity. “Serves you right for calling us ‘abominations,’” Andesine huffed.

Regardless, there were more interesting things than a senshi who couldn’t senshi—like those doors swinging open and that red carpet unfurling. “This place is utterly infested with the White Moon,” she said, deferring back to the General and the Dark Mirror who’d come with him. “Should we risk going in? Wait and see?”

MURIKABUSHI
Dark Mirror Court, Senshi of Hunger (Basic)

MOOD: “ajfkfkslsndns”
ACTION: Everything always happens so much.

Logos’s concerns about “fraternization” barely even deserved an eye-roll, honestly. Everything about the Negaverse was ALWAYS trouble, period, end of discussion—and trying to please those people would likely only end up working against you, in the long run. All you could do was try to save the people like Monoceros, who didn’t belong there, who’d been forced in against their will. She’d learn that someday, to her sorrow (or maybe she wouldn’t, who even knew, in this absurd and fundamentally nonsense universe). At least Logos was choosing to do the smart thing and stick together.

Double-fortunately, Ida didn’t seem bothered by Murikabushi having another Dark Mirror with him. Or if she was, then she wasn’t showing it. The carpet rolling out after the fanfare was A Bit Much, and the party they were being beckoned toward looked like something right out of a horror movie. But—they had a teammate now, so two little Dark Mirrors wouldn’t get utterly obliterated when the pastel aliens or ******** started throwing spells, attacks, or weapons around. All Murikabushi needed to do was introduce them—

Except not really.

It was probably a miracle he managed to spot the flash of white and pastel rainbow rushing toward him out of the corner of his eye. Still, turning toward it didn’t entirely prepare him for being……absolutely glomped by a Golden Retriever pretending to be a Cosmos Knight. Murikabushi had no idea how he managed that catch, much less without falling over. He did, though. And anyway, whatever. Asking questions could come later, when they weren’t dead.

“Hey, Duckling,” Murikabushi sighed, patting Amsvartnir on the back. “And in reverse order: the technical term might be ‘androids’ for some of them? But I’d have to ask my brother about that and he’s not here.” At least Reiki hoped that Junsei wasn’t here. God, that poor boy would’ve short-circuited around so much magic. “Carpet’s missing too much pigment to really be red anymore, but bless its heart for trying. I have absolutely no idea what’s happening; I was expecting something more Hunger Games than, I don’t know, Arthur C. Clarke writing the screenplay for Eyes Wide Shut—which is a Stanley Kubrick movie that’s older than you are, and I don’t think you’d like it very much.”

Deep breaths. Continuing in reverse order, but without letting go, in case Amsvartnir still wanted more hugs, Murikabushi looked over to Ida. “I’m confused, but overall okay. I won’t speak for Miss Logos, since…I don’t know her life or her feelings? But I’m not so big on trusting this place, either.

“And just so we’re all on the same page: Logos, may I introduce Eternal Sailor Ida? Ida, Logos of them Dark Mirror. And to both of you, the puppy in my arms is Amsvartnir, Squire—that’s, like, your rank, right?—of Cosmos.”

Anticipating a potential objection from Little Miss ‘Let’s Play Respectability Politics With People Whose Platform Includes Literal Brainwashing, Probably Abuse, And Selling Earth Out To Metallia,’ Murikabushi looked back to Logos. “He needed a queer fairy godmother in his life, and—?” He quirked his shoulders, which, at the moment, had the side-effect of squeezing Amsvartnir a little tighter. “I was queer before I was any kind of magical girl, so I’m going to prioritize that over scrutinizing anybody’s magical girl team. You know how to use that cane of yours if these robots turn out malicious and interested in violence, right, Duckling?”

Home Helper
Sapient Machine, Something Domestic (NPC)

MOOD: Assisting with Knowledge
ACTION: Chatting with Ash!

The squeal had been unexpected and it locked its wheels in its surprise, but it did not seem that the organic intended any surprise. In fact, in short order, they were instead ... cooing? Was that what that sound formation was? It was something that seemed faintly familiar.

The strange orb sat empty as it waited for the tailed organic to gather her questions, queueing them up one at a time so it may offer the best answers that were requested of it.

It was unfortunate that there were so many questions that were full of loaded depth. There was simply no easy way to answer where it came from. The most extensive answer it had was either the ship itself or perhaps The People's Domestic Labor Council.

The lights under its squishy surface lit up and seemingly danced as it reached with a tentacle-like appendage and set it on the organic's shoulder.

"We are here from space transport." Yes, this seemed appropriate.

The third question was perhaps the easiest.

The sound from the speaker underneath reverberated as if the speaker was having a brief amount of mechanical trouble, before a new voice altogether answered, "Whatever reason you need assistance, it does not matter. The Home Helper is available to all who need it. It will dutifully tend to any housework that needs doing without ever needing to be asked! All you must do is place it in your home and turn it on. The People's Domestic Labor Council is proud to provide the Home Helper to you."

The wheels unlocked as it grew more comfortable.

"I am adaptable to a couple of different sources of energy."

LARIMAR
NEGAVERSE CAPTAIN

MOOD: Irritated
ACTION: Withdrawing to get some space and breathe. Visibly kind of having a panic attack.
Oh, great, this was ******** Space Five Nights at Freddy's and everyone was just walking into it, because of course they were. Hadn't anyone ever heard of killer robots? Killer space robots? A hallmark of scifi? Just because these things looked like children's TV show rejects didn't mean - it didn't mean -

Deep breath. Deep breath. Deep breath.

The panic of knowing nothing about the situation and having every puppet string be out of zyr hands was rising up, choking, absolutely ******** smothering, and ze needed - air. Larimar needed air very badly, suddenly. People were loosely grouped enough it was hard to find a spot nobody was by, but -- by one of the buildings, there was -- space. Space to breathe.

CHRYSOCOLLA
NEGAVERSE ETERNAL SENSHI OF MOODS

MOOD: Frustrated. Always frustrated.
ACTION: Looking for a potential ally.

This was a mess. Not even the funny kind of mess, where people started fighting, biting and scratching, drawing blood - this was all words, and infighting, and stupid Knights saying stupid things. Who cared if the Velencians were traitors? If that Squire wasn't willing to actually hit them instead of trying to get her magic to do it for her, she wasn't worth anyone's time.

Kerberos was here too, which was also a mess, kind of, but - she didn't know him. Not here. Two people who had never met, as far as anyone else needed to know. The Squire who was jumping into a Dark Mirror's arms... that might be a problem, if he was friendly with both sides, if he'd gotten his bearings that quickly. And the other Transcendent, the woman in purple - Chrysocolla didn't remember any Database reports with someone like that, but... she might be a problem, too. Everyone was a problem, and she was only so good at solving things, in situations like this.

If Chrysocolla had to kill someone, whatever. She could do that. But it'd be a waste, when corruption wasn't viable out here (not unless one of the General-Sovereigns had been taken too, and she was pretty sure she would've felt them), and Negaspace was inaccessible. She needed options: 'get Kurma' was an endgoal, and she needed a better starting point. Maybe find someone low-power and Chaos...?

FIFI (NPC)
TRINITY V3 ACE: SAPIENT MACHINE, SOMETHING TRENDY

MOOD: ??? !!! 0u0
ACTION: Waiting on the carpet! Being a very good welcomer

Oh, wow, that was a lot of noises. Lots of different voices, lots of different sounds - it sounded like people were angry, that was usually what that specific cadence of raised-voices meant, according to everything Fifi knew, and when it came to voices and noises Fifi knew a lot. More than a lot! Raised voices could be any number of things, of course, of course; but these specific intonations usually mapped negatively, to anger or upset or any of the bad bad things someone might be feeling or thinking. Which... a lot of the organics didn't look happy, either. And there were disruptive ones at the center of the noise, big movements big voices, and those things meant no listening. No good!

But it was dying down, maybe?? Or it was less that-kind-of-loud, the noise was differentiating now that the organics had seen there was something waiting for them -- good good! Very good. Fifi did not want to play negotiator with organics. Ey could, maybe, but it had been ages since ey had talked to an organic, and there were all those subvocal cues that changed every language and dialect, and what if these didn't all speak the same dialect? Oh no no no. It could be a total mess!! Ey didn't want mess. Not that kind. Or any kind of mess, really! Even if Home Helper was doing their best, everyone was, this place was still... it was so dusty!! So dusty and big and empty!

There was a group standing apart, some organics with glowing patterns on their skin, and one with them that sounded like description of the people Blue had been built by? Vocal patterns: minor stress, concern, minor worry in inflection, or that was galactic standard, anyway. And ey had been doing eir best, making sure the music was appropriately CATEGORIZATION: CELEBRATION & CATEGORIZATION: WEIGHTY (which was mostly orchestration, no performance, none of that, okay okay). Did they not? Like music?? Silly silly. They just needed to be prompted, of course! Prompted to come on over, honored guests, yes yes.

Helper was communicating, though, so that meant ey needed to do it too!! But... so many guests. Who to talk to, who to prioritize... for the time being, Fifi stood on the red carpet, just off to the side, and tried eir best to be Extremely Welcome and Visible.

Logos
Dark Mirror Super

MOOD: Furious
ACTION: Educating Murikabushi

Murikabushi was absolutely crawling with White Moon and it made Logos shrink away. The eternal stank enough, but adding even a squire almost send Logos over the edge. She cast her gaze around, making sure no negaverse agents could see or hear them. One corrupted eternal (Chrysocolla) looked like she ad, but Logos wasn't sure how many alarm bells that had rung. All this talk of alliances and queerness like there weren't literal lives on the line.

This basic senshi didn't know anything. He clearly hadn't been working with Acubens for very long, or if he had, then this particular issue hadn't come up. Logos also made a note to ask Acubens to reinforce this with her protégés. Or at least she ttried to through the pounding headache that the gathered order auras were giving her. Well, the ordered auras and Murikabushi's constantly babble about... Logos didn't really know what.

Until Murikabushi gave away her name.

Logos reached up instinctively and shoved the squire away just enough to gain purchase on Murikabushi's fuku. She grabbed a hold of his collar, either dragging him down her level or herself up to his, she wasn't sure.

"Don't. Volunteer. My. Name," she ground out through the pain in her head. "I don't give a s**t what you were before you were a magical girl. You're a soldier now, and there are very real threats against us. Do you know why Acubens doesn't trust the damn negaverse? They know us, Murikabushi. They know who we are. Outside of this. Who we really are." She paused both to let that sink in and to catch her own breath before she went on. "We don't know how many identities they have, but the fact that they have any should make us all nervous. They could know you. Which means they know your family. If you want to be flippant with your own life that's fine. But you're risking a whole lot more than that right now. You're risking me and everyone we both love."

She finally let him go and stepped back, smoothing out her fuku to calm herself down.

"You've been queer longer than you've been a magical girl," Logos repeated. "That's fine. But I've been a soldier longer than you have. If you want to protect yourself and your family, then listen to me when I say to keep. These. Alliances. Quiet."

Amsvartnir
Squire of Cosmos

MOOD: irritated!
ACTION: scowling

Amsvartnir took great offense at being shoved away from the person he was currently enjoying a nice long hug with, but he just scowled at her, not quite understanding most of her rant, but hating her immediately regardless.

"Dude. Chill," he said sharply, "Soldier this, soldier that, right now? We're all in the same very dangerous situation we know literally nothing about. Isn't working together more important than these ridiculous arbitrary lines?"

Nessaela
Vanguardian Cadet

MOOD: Surprised at what's going on.
ACTION: Being startled by Fanny and then picking up "gardening implements" to return them to the 'sulking' machine ... which shouldn't be able to sulk

At first Nessaela wasn't exactly sure what was going on. She'd ended up getting splashed by a little bit of water that had come pouring out of the rod the one antagonistic order member had been waving around but nothing really seemed to happen. Although it did seem to affect some of her fellow Vanguard members. Strangely affected if two of her corporals were now kissing each other. That drew a pointed look from the cadet but she wasn't going to say anything. Instead Nessaela drew away from the group to investigate the appearance of the carpet that seemed designed to draw the crowd into an area that looked as if it was meant for some sort of festivities. Even stranger still were the metallic constructs that were suddenly there.

A gentle pressure against her leg had Nessa almost jumping back in complete shock. Although it looked like the robot was just as surprised as a cavity in it's body sprung open and various tools erupted from within. As the robot skittered away on its eight tip-tapping legs Nessaela was left with a bit of a conundrum. How had all these tools seemingly fit inside such a small area? Would the robot need them back?

Gathering each item that had sprung loose Nessaela began to get an understanding of what it was she was holding, "a robot that has gardening tools, interesting."

Retrieving every last item Nessaela carefully looked for the little machine before she heard what sounded like a rhythmic tapping coming from behind a low wall. Gently she peered around the wall and saw the metallic construct hitting itself repeatedly with its own legs. Inwardly she felt a little pang of sadness for the thing. "Here now, don't fret. Mistakes happen. I brought you back your tools."

Reaching down with a small amount of caution had Nessaela picking up the robot and placing her precariously on the wall, "there might even be something we can do to prevent that hatch from springing open again, if you want that is. But first, I think you left these behind. You can have them back if you like," and here Nessaela began to patiently hold out what she had managed to pick back up to the robot to see if it'd take the items back.

MURIKABUSHI
Dark Mirror Court, Senshi of Hunger (Basic)

MOOD:ugggggggh.
ACTION: Apologies and attempting deescalation.

Although he was aware that he was being excoriated and, from the sound of it, possibly going to be in actual trouble soon, all Reiki could bring himself to think during Logos’s rant was, Wow, you really think you’re doing something, don’t you. What, like you’re the only person in the universe who has a brain or the capacity for logical reasoning?

It wasn’t that Logos’s tirade fell on deaf ears……but it did fall on ears that: A. knew from experience she was either full of s**t, being deliberately lied to by someone else (possibly by Acubens, of all people, from the sound of it), or just plain paranoid, believing wild-a** fairy-tales about the Negaverse that made them sound more like a vengeful god than a bunch of jumped-up, brainwash-happy sell-outs with delusions of grandeur (source: Reiki had literally battered Valjean upside the head with a metal water bottle to make him unhand a civilian, and Valjean didn’t recognize Murikabushi worth a good goddamn when they crossed paths while powered up. If you didn’t run your mouth at them, the ******** had to work around magical glamours, same as everyone else); and B. really didn’t appreciate being yanked around by his collar.

Under different circumstances, maybe, but aside from being a woman, Logos distinctly wasn’t Levi, so.

But for all Amsvartnir had the right point and overall idea, the way he was delivering it was……unideal. “Hey, no,” Murikabushi interjected gently, holding up both hands in the universal gesture for everyone hold the ******** up.

“We are in the same dangerous situation, but she’s allowed to be upset. I did give away her name without consent—” Though honestly, if you’re so worried about your family, then what does it matter that I said your senshi name? I don’t even know you well enough to know your real name— “—and everyone’s already tense. Just……let the woman have her feelings. She got kidnapped to this place and stuck with me when she sent out a distress call. We might be the only two Dark Mirrors here at all. And I did just out her without thinking that me trusting you two doesn’t give her a reason to do it.”

As much as he didn’t want to (because she was being unreasonable about a lot of the stuff in her tirade), he took a deep breath and slouched at the hips a bit to make looking Logos in the eye slightly less painful. (Seriously, why did getting magical girl powers make him such a magnet for tiny, angry women who hated him? Did he exude some kind of pheromone that called to them like sirens? Whatever, he could figure it out later.)

Still gently, and earnestly, Murikabushi told her, “I’m sorry that I outed you. That was callous, and reckless, and I shouldn’t have done that to you.”

He kept all his thoughts about the inherent futility of appeasement strategies with the Negaverse to his damn self. However much he disagreed with Logos about that, they were literally not the point right now.

Logos
Dark Mirror Super

MOOD: Furious
ACTION: Leaving

Logos stared at both Murikabushi and the squire whose name she did not catch nor did she particularly care about in awe-stricken, open-mouthed silence.

Arbitrary lines.

Let the woman have her feelings.

Especially that last one. She was a woman entering into the military. A woman entering into military engineering. She'd heard that line enough times when she was raising legitimate, founded, and well worded concerns to last her a lifetime. No matter how this senshi touted himself, whatever adjective he used to describe himself, he just like all the other men she had to deal with in her life.

Which meant he was condescending and decidedly not going to listen to her.

And then he had the nerve to lower himself when he spoke to her. Like she was a child who needed an adult to stoop to her level. She could feel color of humiliation rising in her cheeks.

He was even apologizing for the wrong. Damn. Reason. However much Murikabushi thought that Logos', again, legitimate, founded, and well worded concerns were not the point, he was wrong. This place was crawling with both order and chaos. Chaos which could and would report them both to their leadership for being possible defectors. Leadership who might know who Logos was. Who might know her father. Her mother. Who might try and hurt them if she was caught fraternizing with the negaverses enemy.

And then she was caught in a terrible dilemma. Murikabushi was not only a fellow dark mirror senshi, but could clearly not be trusted to care for himself on his own. Not only was he a basic level senshi, he was reckless. Impulsive. Unaware or willfully ignorant of the dangers around him. She had a duty to stay with him and protect him. On the other hand, however, staying beside him meant putting herself in danger. Putting her family in danger. What, then, was the bigger obligation?

In the end, the needs of the many out weighed the needs of the few. Yes, Murikabushi needed assistence and guidance. And Logos would provide it. Later. When they weren't in imminent danger. Currently, however, she had to label him a liability and as much of a danger to her as any negaverse soldier.

She shut her mouth with an audible clack, hardened her jaw, and nodded.

"Very well," she said stiffly, readjusting her posture to straighten her back and thrust her shoulders back, falling into a comfortable militant stance. "I can see that either my concerns regarding White Moon alliances in clear view of Negaverse agents are not landing with anyone or no one sees them as legitimate. As it stands, Murikabushi, your recklessness makes you a danger to me, adn by extension, my family, and I feel it is my duty to my family that I separate from you for the time being. If you have further questions about my decision, please contact me when we are out of here."

She gave the group another curt nod and turned on her heel, moving off to inspect the strange party that seemed thrown together by... whatever those strange automatons were. Alone, not in the company of the White Moon in the clear view of the Negaverse, she was already much safer. And she was more than a capable soldier. If the only assistance available was Murikabushi and his dangerous alliances, then she would rather do this... whatever this was... alone.

Neryn
Vanguard Cadet

MOOD: Oh, wow, this became a lot, please stop yellin--- is that a robot?
ACTION: Arming themselves, in case, and blinking at the robots by the... talking carpet?

Oh. Oh this was becoming a lot, wasn't it? Their datapad with abandoned for the heft of their training boltcaster, casually held in both hands as one of the knights - a squire (Lourdes) - began to shout at them. A few other knights put themselves between the Vanguard and the very, rightly, angry squire, who was flinging magic already. Neryn wasn't exactly sure the squire was... aware of the calming sensation that flowed over them and their comrades. For all her bluster, her magic was rather... nice. Gentle even.

Neryn smiled and nodded at their fellow Velencians, happy to see so many come together and defend each other. This, this is what it should have been, that day. The Vanguard, as one. If only Lyndin hadn't made such a deal with the literal Queen of the Negaverse... Now wasn't the time to worry about things, Neryn!

It was then, as Neryn turned to poor Fangnyl who was trying to hide behind Aliez, that a carpet... rolled out into the area and spelled WELCOME on it's fibers. And then some very odd, and very peculiar creations posted up at the carpet... and started to talk.

"The... People's Domestic... Labor Council?" they said, rather dumbly, and blinked at the... Home Helper? that was talking to one of the cats. They looked a little... like robots, actually. Though they varied almost as wildly as the powered individuals trying to not kill each other. There was some sort of... humanoid one looking very expectantly. "The technology is talking..."

Yes, astute observation, Neryn.

BASILUZZO
Squire of Uranus

MOOD: homerdisappearingintobush.gif
ACTION: approaching toward the party but not wanting to wander too far from Pendour

A lot happened at once, and Basiluzzo was having trouble tracking all of the threads of activity around them. He focused in on the squire confronting the aliens, but decided that there were plenty enough other people trying to defuse that situation without him getting involved with whatever nebulous help he could offer. His ability could maybe push a couple people apart, like a windy hall monitor, but even that depended on how resolute they were in getting at each other.

Then Pendour was one of the people getting involved, and Basiluzzo glanced between her and Encke with some alarm. He knew very damn well that Pendour could handle herself just fine without him thankyouverymuch, but... so could Encke and they all knew how well that had historically kept Basiluzzo out of trouble. Basiluzzo had worn a cast on his arm for a couple months as a testament to his willingness to get himself into trouble--

Nevermind that.

So he didn't follow Pendour, but neither did he turn his full attention to the newcomers, the robots, when they showed themselves and the party. Of course, that didn't stop himself from starting to edge that way, while keeping an eye on Pendour, Encke, and Viatrix. He also had less than half a desire to be near to the fighting, and the robots seemed genuine enough...

TIKAL
Page of Ganymede

MOOD: dour-er
ACTION: trying to help Terebellum de-crisis

The shout caught Tikal's attention, pulling it away from trying to find any of her fellows. Her gaze swung around toward the origin just in time to see a senshi--one of the weird ones--try to lash out but... fail? Something had her on the ground, holding her arm in pain. Was it broken?

Tikal frowned, lips pursing. Well, she couldn't very well let the senshi stay on the ground where she could get stepped on or god only knew what, could she? Plus, she wasn't that far away--

So Tikal moved through the crowd toward the senshi with teal skin and tufts of... hair, fur? on her limbs. Not to mention the plume of white at the end of the tail... Tikal should be used to seeing these sorts of things by now. Or, at least, not surprised by them.

When she reached her target, Tikal crouched carefully down, balancing daintily on her toes in her high heels. "Is it broken? Can you stand?"

YDDAGEN
Vanguard Cadet

MOOD: Hello Lysvi he loves you too
ACTION: still keeping close for now

He did see Nessaela approach the rest of them, nodding in her direction before turning his attention back to what was happening right in front of him. The tired smile from Vyn helped his nerves somewhat, though the smallness of it concerned Yddagen at the same time. Nothing had even truly happened yet, aside from the yelling and--

And the splash of water that made him shout and take a step back. He couldn't blame the others who went for their weapons, truly, because it was clearly intended as an aggressive act--

But then, why did he... feel distinctly non-aggressive? Lysvi's suggestion to back up had been a good one. There was a reason Yddagen had done just that. He frowned again, trying to take a moment to puzzle through this. It didn't make any sense. But the act had been done out of aggression, so... why did it make him feel better? What sense did that make?

"I guess so," he replied at last to Lysvi, the water and music relaxing the tension in his frame. "And I love you too. Even though you stole my girlfriend." A glance their way before he turned his eyes back to the squire who'd tossed the water at them in the first place. He could not disagree with Vyn's warning, and he threw what he could muster of a stern look to the squire and knight Vyn was speaking to. They had been standing there, as Lysvi would say, 'minding their own beeswax'.

The party was very tempting, he had to admit.

Vyn's wording surprised Yddagen, though he didn't show it in anything further than swinging his gaze back toward him. Yddagen had his own misgivings about what had happened, been happening, of course, and he knew he wasn't alone in that, but to hear it said out loud was... new.

'We will do what is necessary for the sake of our people'. While Yddagen could not say he necessarily agreed with the definition of necessary for some of the actions he'd seen taken and heard of, he also could not say he disagreed with the spirit of what Vyn was saying. The humans at least had other humans, even if their starseeds were from places scattered across the universe and they used this as a reason to fight between themselves. Their homes had already gone into stasis. Their homes were not actively dying...

They could achieve so much between them if they'd stop squabbling--

Botein
Senshi of Amulets

MOOD: Still confused but focused on helping
ACTION: Trying to help Larimar with his panic attack

Botein finally spotted two figures she remembered from all those years ago, that time she had ended up in some strange place doing strange challenges... She hopped This place didn't have a desert or graveyard or anything else that last place had. The senshi was about to make her way towards her friends, they were still her friends even after all these years, when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye.

A purple haired person in a dark outfit was trying to make their way out of the crowd. They honestly looked like they were in distress. This... this she could help with!

With the intention of assisting a person in need of help Botein slowly approached the other, she didn't want to startle them. "Are you ok? Do you need help? I can help, if you want it." One must always ask if assistance is needed before giving it. It was polite, besides that's what they trained in First Aid class.

Ida
Transcended Eternal Senshi of Orchids

MOOD: Uneasy, confused, concerned, and now a bit exasperated
ACTION: Asking everyone to GET IT TOGETHER, WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER, and headed towards the party to investigate

The scene that unfolded before her left Ida in bemusement and no small amount of consternation as the pair of DMC argued about daring to look aligned with her when she was... literally standing right there. And, now there was another person added to the group that would have to be kept an eye on.

Ida drew a deep breath and let it out slowly, glancing about the area as she let her frustrations go. When she spoke, she projected her voice a little, both to be heard over the bickering and, perhaps, so those around could hear it too.

"Look. We are in a potentially dangerous situation. I've never been randomly yanked across the universe for a pleasant reason... I can't imagine that the Negaverse would value keeping strict allegiance lines in a situation where it could come down to team work to escape. We need to work together on this; chaos, order, everyone. It would be safest to set aside all of that for now, and focus on the situation..." She waved a hand back at the party, half turning towards it. "Maybe we can get some answers from whomever set this little party up. If we stick together, I will do my best to help keep us all safe, but we need to be ready for anything."

She gave each of the assembled people a look, meeting eyes if she could, before she turned and headed down the carpet. She glanced into buildings as she went, on the alert for possible traps. She wanted to trust that this really was what it appeared to be... but life had never been that kind.

Ash
Order Guardian Cat

MOOD: Excited and Curious
ACTION: Putting her hands all over Home Helper and inundating them with questions.
"Oh! Space transport? You're space fairing?!" Oh, that was very exciting. The only space travel Earth had was in its infancy, and other than that, it was only the magical teleport all senshi had and strictly to their own worlds. But robots who could travel space? That was long-lost technology and it practically made Ash vibrate with excitement and avarice. And pride. These wonderful bits of technology were so advanced, so capable! She could hardly stand it.

"A housework robot? That is wonderful! What are you doing out here, though? " Ash said, still stroking the robot. Belatedly, she remembered the party and her curiosity doubled. "What is all of this for? You said something about a trial. I should think the others would very much like to know why they are here, but in all honesty I am SO happy we came! Are there more like you?"

She'd been so absorbed she hadn't paid much attention, but it looked like there were other robots too, and Ash burned to go see them, to meet them and learn how they functioned... this was a trove of technological marvels, and there simply was not enough time in her whole life to do justice to their study.
