Fone launched his attack on the Misdreavus, vanishing into the ground before coming up a moment later to strike the ghost from it's under belly. The ghosts all together seemed fairly weak. From what Ko could see, they mostly appeared to be in their first stage... some where evolved, but likely because they evolved via stone or something. Like the abundance of Misdreavus and Mismagius. This would make things easier for Fone at least... though it did make Ko question how much stronger Fone could get off of these lesser-ghosts?

From the line of ghosts, the next up to challenge Fone was a blade-like Pokemon. Fone quickly dealt with the sword, as easy as it was. The wisps that constantly surrounded Fone danced in joy over another defeated ghost. Hugging the Togepi egg close, Ko could feel some movement inside of it. Looking down she even saw the egg starting to crack. "It's hatching!" Ko called. Kezia leaned in, hugging Ko tightly.
'Wouldn't it be scary for a baby to be born under these conditions?' The fox asked. Ko nodded.
"We've got to find a safe place to let her hatch!" Ko called out to Fone. The feline nodded. Looking around, Ko noticed some crumbled buildings.... even with no roof, it would still dent the noise. Fone quickly rushed over and took the Lantern from Kezia's hands, proceeding to run off with it. The ghosts.... attracted by the blue light, quickly followed after him. With a break in the crowd, Ko quickly headed for the buildings, finding the doorway and entering. She hoped Fone would be safe....

Inside the crumbling building, Ko found the fog wasn't as dense in here as it had been out there. Hopefully it would remain this way for awhile. She could also just barely hear Fone, so her stress levels were getting rather high. Hatching a new baby into the world was just as stressful as giving birth to one, though not as painful, she assumed. Hugging the egg close, the brunette tucked into her legs to work as a bed for the little egg. Kezia was just as flustered as Ko, kneeling in close to the egg, looking it over, fingers dancing around the crack in the egg. 'Is it okay?' She asked. 'Inari didn't tkae this long to hatch.' She added. Ko smiled softly, reaching a hand out to rest on Kezia's shoulder.
"Inari is a fire-type, and with Mila and Hen around it likely quickened her hatching process. This one has to rely on our heat, which isn't as strong as a fire-types." Ko replied. Kezia scooted in closer after hearing this.
'I could start a fire.' She added. Ko tilted her head.
"I don't think there is much wood around here for that... You could maybe collect enough dry grass, but even then.." Her hand lowered to the lush moss and grass under her. "I think that would be hard to find as well." Kezia pouted some at this. There must be something she could do?

Meanwhile,Fone, continued to draw the ghosts as far away as he could. When he found himself a sizable distance away, he dropped the lantern and continued his attack on the onslaught of ghosts.

Called out a few more of her Pokemon, Ko asked them all to gather around the egg to keep it warm. Yaven, the Larvesta she'd traded Terra for quickly crawled up into Ko's lap halfway, being a fairly large bug it wouldn't fit with the egg as well. Though being a fire-type, it's warmth was welcomed. Oorin, her Duskull was more or less intrigued with the distant sounds of battle going on. Not to mention, this was his home before he'd joined with Ko. Floating back to Ko, the ghost kept an eye on her, before she finally looked up at Oorin. "Oh... Oorin, isn't this your home?" Ko asked. "You should go say hi to everyone before we leave." This really wasn't the time to be thinking about that... but if Ko were to end up back in Shinnoh during these sorts of predicaments, she'd also want to check out the bar and her friends. If they were even still her friends.... Oorin nodded, though, lowering himself into the earth, vanishing to the lower levels of the mountain.

While Ko tended to the egg, and Fone dealt with the continuous string of ghosts, Oorin ventured down to the lower floors to find some of his old friends. What he found was something rather... confusing. Humans were always in his home, trainers, breeders, you named it.. if they'd lost a Pokemon they were here. But something struck odd to Oorin. The humans appeared to be talking to a Pokemon... not actually there. The ghost's red eye floated between each socket, but no matter how hard he looked... he didn't see anything. Not to mention there were strangely dressed humans among them... What got him the most was... the lack of ghosts. Where was everyone? "She should have arrived by now." called a voice from behind Oorin. Ducking behind a tombstone, the ghost watched as a tall male and a shorter female walked past them, followed by another male and female that looked almost identical. "Yes, she was spotted crashing into the top of the mountain." The shorter woman spoke. They were talking about Ko? The ghost... felt worried. Which was odd for him. Looking back up towards the ceiling.. he had to go warn Kotensa of this treat.
"What do we have here?" Echoed a sickly sweet voice. "Another ghost? I thought we'd dealt with all of you." Oorin turned, finding a loli-like girl staring at him. In her hair was a the skull of a Duskull. "I don't know why we had to come here of all places, I hate ghosts." The girl pouted. "Your skull will go nicely with my collection though." She continued. A Sneasel quickly stepped up at her side. Oorin's instincts told him right away; escape.

Oorin knew right away to fly straight up. With Shadow sneak, he avoided the Sneasel's attack and did just that. "You won't escape!" Called the loli girl. Back up on the top layer, Oorin floated in close to Ko, ignoring the hatching egg.
"O-o-oring! Ohmnensa is hatching, what is gotten into you?" She asked, waving a hand, but unable to even physically touch the ghost her hand went straight through. In a last ditch effort to warn Ko, the ghost turned around and grabbed the Togepi Egg, the Togepi's head just barely breaking through the egg. "Oorin!" Ko shouted. Standing up she quickly gave chase, as did Kezia. Kezia could have easily brought the ghost down, but she didn't want to chance harming the Togepi, so they were left to just run after Oorin. Fone noticed the commotion and after dealing with a Yamask, he quickly gave chase as well. Though, the ghosts were primarily attracted by the lantern, they decided to follow after Fone.

The ghost lead them down some stairs and close to the entrance to the mountain, where Ko ran into the Loli girl. Literally. Oorin in the meantime floated down to hide behind Kezia. The fox turned to scold Oorin, only to find he was now being bewhildered by the baby, fully hatched, in his ghostly arms. It was laughing.

Once Ko and the Loli girl got back to their feet, their eyes met. The loli girl instantly pointed over at Ko while holding her nose with her other hand. "It's you! So you've just decided to take your sweet time in joining us?" She called. "That Duskull's skull will be mine!" She added. Ko looked back at Oorin, still holding onto Ohmnensa. Ko stepped back, taking Ohmnensa from Oorin, and placing her in the safty of her bag. The little one didn't mind, though her curiousity got the better of her as she entered the bag, accidently using a Tm on herself. The babies hunger even lead to her eating the sweet smelling Big Mushroom. Ko in the meantime was to distracted by the girl.
"I don't think so. Oorin is my Duskull.. I won't allow you to touch him." The Loli girl pouted.
"When I set my sights on something it will be mine." She replied. "But more importantly, Ko-ten-sa. You're number one on the list for Lunar Corp. Rather that lovely Zoroark behind you is." Ko's eye narrowed. Of course it was these goons... had they lead her here purposely to separate her from Ohm.... Were they just after her? Or were they after Ohm this time too?

"I'll take what I want by force if I have to!" The loli girl shouted, releasing a Wigglytuff. Ko Narrowed her gaze, her smile vanishing behind her anger. If a fight was what she wanted... a fight was what she'd get. Coming to Ko's defense was Yakule. The goat casually strolled up, ready to fight.

Oorin found he couldn't just sit idle by when someone was out to get his skull. He had to fight back. Setting Ohmnensa down on Kezia's head, he ghost floated forward, just as Yakule had finished dealing with the first Pokemon the loli girl had summoned. Motioning for Yakule to step back, He fought the next two Pokemon with relative ease. But after the battle... something amazing happened. Oorin evolved. From a Duskull, the ghost grew more hand-like features as well as legs. No longer floating mid-air, the ghost was instead standing on the earth, though not physically touching it. With a loud a booming voice, the ghost narrowed his single eye. "Leave my home!" He shouted. Ko's eyes widened at this... Oorin had never spoke before. The girl herself looked absolutely horrified.
"Mean-mean- meanie!" She shouted, running away whining. Ko rested her hands on her hips. What a child. Speaking of children. Ko turned to find Ohmnensa now in Kezia's hands, happily giggling away at Kezia's attempts at funny faces. The Togepi seemed oblivious to the situation they'd found themselves in.

Fone in the meantime, had to abandon any hope of watching or even joining the battle, since the Ghost-types had followed after him. With a huff Fone launched another attack at a Cofagrigus.

With the felling of the Cofagrigus, the flame within the lantern left up further the mountain sputtered out. The ghosts themselves, seemed to feel this and quickly took their leave, somewhat disappointing in having to leave. They'd wanted to stay and continue playing with Fone. The feline himself signed before returning to Ko. "Are they all gone?" The brunette asked, as she took Ohmnensa from Kezia's arms. Fone nodded. "Then let's head into Mount Pyre... I don't like that those people are here."

As she turned back towards the entrance to Mount Pyre, she found Oorin slowly starting to calm down. Approaching the much taller now ghost, Ko leaned in close. "It's alright Oorin. We'll get rid of them." Ko promised. Pumping a fist, the ghost turned to look at Ko with a nod. Ohmnensa happily reached for the ghost, as if wanting to be held by him instead. Ko happily obliged and placed the little fairy on Oorin's head. The ghost allowed the solidifying of his head to let the little one ride on top of it. "You're the first one she saw after hatching. So take good care of her." Ko smiled.

Heading into the mountain, Fone took the lead. At first they didn't find any of the Lunar Corp goons, but they were likely on a lower floor. Instead, the group was greeted by an enraged Shuppet. Fone flared his flames, arching his back in a defensive manner. "They're upset... because those people are fooling those here to morn their loved ones." Oorin supplied. Ko turned to look over at him. She was still getting used to his voice. She nodded in time, motioning back towards Fone.
"There isn't any other way... we'll have to fight them for now until we can prove we're getting rid of those people." Ko instructed. With a nod Fone slipped into the darkness, using Phantom Force.

Not long after encountering the Shuppet, a Duskull appeared, seeing Fone had attacked it's fellow ghost, the Duskull quickly retaliated. Oorin promtly stepped forward, holding up his two hands. "Cease at once!" He shouted, but his plead went ignored. Fone quickly took care of the Duskull. The feline glanced back at Oorin, bowing his head some.
'I must do this.' He spoke. It was his sworn duty to cleanse the spirits. Oorin lowered his gaze. He understood, but these... were his friends. Once upon a time, but perhaps a bit of cleansing would help the spirits in the end. Turning towards Ko, the ghost brought up his hands and took hold of the Togepi still on his head.
"Watch over this one." He stated. "I must... think upon something." He was going to try and keep most of the ghosts at bay... Ko assumed. She nodded in the end. This was his home, if anyone could calm the ghosts or other Pokemon down it was Oorin. Hugging Ohmnensa, the brunette once more bobbed her head as Oorin slipped into the floor. Ohmnensa seemed somewhat upset, but otherwise kept smiling.
"He'll be back." Ko reassured her. "For now, I'll be your transportation." Bouncing the Togepi some, it cheered happily. It was ironic now that she thought of it... A new life was hatched in a place meant for the deceased.

Happy to see the joy in Ohmnensa, Ko quickly returned her attention to the task at hand. The stairwell was just beyond a small row of tombstones, and below were the people being fooled. Fone could feel this as well. The natural order of things was not meant to be twisted for the soul purpose of money or an experiment. Messing with innocent people's hearts drew the line as far as Ko was concerned. The small group quickly continued to the stairs and made their decent.

On the next floor down, the sight could bring tears to the eyes. Men and woman stood around in white lab coats while they watched many people react to the image of their loved ones coming back from the dead. All Zoroark or Zorua in disguise. Kezia narrowed her eyes, growling at this image. She couldn't believe her own kind would be forced to do this. Fone was even more furious, and though it was faint...Ko could just barely feel Uth... Had he caught up with them? She couldn't imagine Uth rising up from the ground... She didn't expect he'd ruin the graves of these lost Pokemon for the sake of upholding order.

Then; Chaos. A male nearby the stairwell across the way held up his hand to his ear with a start. He seemed rushed and deeply concerned about something. Quickly he crossed the way to two scientists... likely the ones in charge, and began to instruct them of something going on outside. It didn't take long before the shaking of the earth started to make it seem like the entire Mountain was going to collapse. Ko quickly held out a hand to grasp the smooth stone walls, clutching Ohmnensa in her other arm. An angry Shuppet floated down, targeting Fone with a Shadow Ball. In his rush, the feline didn't even think, he just... knew to attack, but unlike before, when he'd slip into the darkness, the feline sent his wisps at the Shuppet, attacking it was a new move. The Shuppet cried out, sending everyone's attention over to Ko, now sitting on the stairs, both arms wrapped around Ohmnensa protectively. The Shadow Ball from the Shuppet landed against Fone, forcing Fone to jump back up the stairs some, but with a quick motion he recovered and once more used this new attack of his. The Shuppet cried once more, this time vanishing in a blue flame that quickly floated up and seemingly into Fone... The Wispard then began to glow, his gaze widening before he looked over towards Ko. 'It is time.' He grinned. 'I've finally done it.'

A bright light overtook the feline while blue flames happily danced around him. When the light faded, a much larger, much more masculine feline stood before Ko. Fone had... Evolved. A cause for a celebration, but they were quickly reminded they weren't alone, when the sound of clapping echoed throughout the graveyard.

Ko quickly stepped down the stairs to join Fone at his side. Looking out across the graveyard she spotted the person clapping. He sat upon a larger tombstone in the center of the room, near the back. Once her eyes had met his, the male leaped from the gravestone, and slowly began to walk towards Ko, only to stop a moment later when Fone lunged forward, baring fangs. "Oh?" The male stepped back, a hand raised into the air, resting upon his collar bone. "What a feisty one." Ko narrowed her gaze.
"What do you want?" She asked. Getting straight to the point with these people was the best course of action.
"What do I want? Oh, many things." The male stated, fluttering his hand, as if he held a fan. " It's not really want I want though that is important." he added, his grin dropping to a frown. "It's what you want." The grin appeared once more, his eyes sliding towards Ko with a sideways glance. "I can give it to you." He leaned forward, face towards Ko, a hand held out. "Anything your heart desires."

Fone backed up closer to Ko again, still baring his fangs. Ko rested a hand on his back. Kezia took a place at Ko's side, folding her arms. None of them liked the vibes this man was giving off. In fact, they knew he wasn't anything good. "Okay." Ko replied, swallowing a lump in her throat. "I want you and your people to leave me alone... forever. I want you to never set foot in my way ever again. And I want you to abolish the experiments on the Zorua and Zoroark."
The man's smile vanished. Resting his arms over his chest ,the man leaned into his hip and shook his head. "Sorry dear, that just won't do. Try again."
"You said anything my heart desired." Ko replied, smirking at her response. The male was now notably annoyed. Had he not expected this to happen? What did he think Ko was going to dream for? Money? Powerful Pokemon? All the badges and champion title?
"Why must you make this difficult." He sighed suddenly. "Very well. I'll just have have to tell you want you want." With that a Pokemon seemingly summoned itself from out of nowhere. The bug Pokemon was very familiar to the Shinnoh native. You couldn't step one foot into a forest without seeing one of them. A Kricketune, a Bug-type song weaver.
"Fone you can manage this one." Ko muttered. Fone nodded. He was pumped from evolution. Stepping forward slowly, with his head held low, teeth bore, the feline flicked his tail from side to side. The blue flames that normally danced around him now moved in a circle in unison, like a protective barrier.

When the man's second Pokemon fell, he quickly recalled it, narrowing his gaze towards Ko. The brunette was momentarily grinning at her victory. Tephinger really showed up that Bisharp. "Hmm... This wasn't as planned." the male huffed. Did he expect to win against Ko? With only two Poemon.. both with several weakness' to the Pokemon in Ko's possession? "I suppose we'll have to do it that way after all." Ko arched a brow.
"That way? What way? You're out of Pokemon so just leave!" Ko demanded. The man held up a hand to his forehead, massaging his scalp as if he had a headache.

Suddenly, another earthshaking quake reverberated over the group. loose rocks on the ceiling began to fall overhead. Kezia quickly covered over Ko's head, saving her from a falling tile, however, it reverted the Zoroark to her Pokemon form. But then something unexpected happened. Unexpected to the male that was. The ground beneath Ko seemingly ripped open, sucking the brunette inside, along with Kezia and Tephinger. The man leaped away, finding himself lucky to have escaped the tears grasp. Over a communicator in his ear, he head news of more of these rifts spreading world wide. How was he going to explain this one to HQ? He'd have to follow her... less he loose his head.

Suddenly startled awake, Ko's vision blurred when she opened her eyes. There was darkness surrounding her, but it wasn't the type of darkness that meant evil was afoot, it was merely dark because she was inside a mountain. Sitting up, Ko discovered all the candles has been blown out, if not scattered across the graveyard. Everything was in shambles, and as far as Ko could see, other people were getting up from their nerve wracking ordeal. There was no sign of those people, as far as Ko could tell. Which was a good thing, so she wasn't going to dwell upon it. Looking around some more, she spotted Kezia nearby, hugging the little Togepi, both of which had passed out. Ko returned Ohmnensa to her ball for the time being, and crawled over to Kezia to wake up the sleeping Zoroark, currently in her natural form.

It had taken some time, but finally Kezia woke. "Good morning, sleepy head." Ko teased, sheepishly smiling at the fox. Kezia rose a paw to her eyes, rubbing gently before finally sitting up herself to look around.
'We're back in Mount Pyre?' The fox asked. Ko replied with a nod.
"Looks that way." Getting up to her feet, Ko stood for a moment wobbly in the knees. Being teleported through dimensions was certainly a doozey. "Let's go see if anyone needs help, then we can head back to Slateport to meet with Ohm." Ko instructed. She honestly hoped he'd made it back himself.... and that he was waiting for her in Slateport, though she was sure he wouldn't leave Hoenn without her, so finding him was only a matter of time it took to fly around the island.

The atmosphere at Mt. Pyre was... palpable. It felt... a bit colder, but there was a tension, almost electric, hanging through the air. Jay tossed Koda's pokeball up to release the pokemon, as well as Ralwards, frowning as he listened around. All he could hear was the water lapping against the edge of the mountain, where he'd been dropped off by a considerate farrier (thankfully, so that Crystal didn't have to surf them over). And yet, there was the distinct impression that something else was here. The impression that someone was standing, just feet away, even though he couldn't hear a trace of them. Which could only mean one thing-- ghosts.
