Regina rolled her eyes. "Stupid bloody chauvinistic people." She rubbed her forehead. "I swear, for pretty much any job these days, chicks have to wear this bullshit. I'll be glad when I have my pants back on." She stared down at the piece of material, as though hoping that it might suddenly do what she wanted. Why the hell couldn't she be one of those psychics who could transmogrify? That was a far better ability than hers.
She tilted her head at him, intrigued. "Really? You lucky b*****d," she muttered. "Small price to pay for one of those things. Those Aerodactyls don't come by every day. When do you reckon you'll get it worked on? And I don't think intimidation matters - it's rather fun kicking the a** of some stuck up fool with something like a Cinccino," she laughed, flexing her fingers. She'd been writing all day, and her gloved fingers were starting to cramp.

Des smirked upon hearing Regina complain about work outfits. "That's what she said." he replied casually. "I dunno though, you in a mini-skirt is a nice sight." he added, teasing. He then nodded when she started talking about the Aerodactyl. "Yeah, I'll probably get it worked on tonight after a drink or two. But intimidation does help. That kid that was looking up to me earlier was spooked when I sent Scar and Skulltula after him. Dunno why he chooses to trust me even after that. Kids these days." he said, shaking his head. He then looked over at Regina. "Did you get any good data from those surveys? Anyone we can try to bring to our side?" 20

Regina rolled her eyes at Des's immaturity, smacking him on his forearm. "Settle down, Lukas, it's just one drink." She couldn't help laughing at him when he told her about the kid. "Yeah, well, they're full of persistence and hope now. Always looking for the bright side. And, no, the majority of them don't seem to be worth it, but your kid looked alright for it. That last girl was no where near the criteria, she was a total hippie. It was actually rather sickening. Some other little kid I met was only seven - seven! Parents are so crappy at protecting their kids these days," she shrugged. "Ah, well. More time for us to mould them. Have you come across any other possible ones?"

"Ow. I'm kidding, Hayley. Jeez, don't get your panties in a bunch." he said with a laugh as he rubbed his arm. Didn't really hurt much. So there were no hopefuls from the surveys she did. Hearing about the seven year-old, he shook his head. "In Unova, they allow Pre-schoolers to have Pokemon and start their journey. It's ridiculous." When she asked about if he ran into any possible Trainers, he pondered for a bit. "Nope. There was a girl with Dante who looks like a spoiled brat, but that b*****d's mentoring her. She didn't look fit to be a Trainer at all. I highly doubt she's even gone outside before. There was another guy I met at the ruins named Chael, but he's a showboater who desires nothing more than strength. A meathead like him would be useless to use." "Speaking of which... there was an interesting Pokemon hanging around Dante and the girl. It was white-ish purple, had a tail and a tube for a second neck. Looked kinda cat-like too. Any idea what it could be? I certainly didn't recognize it." he recalled. 21

Regina shrugged at him. "Hey, don't mess around with my skirt. I'm considering burning it." She wrinkled her nose when he mentioned Unova. She had yet to travel anywhere other than Etrua or Hoenn, and had no intention to, if other regions were that ridiculous. "Either they hate kids or they don't understand how Pokemon work," she snorted. Some people were just so stupid She then listened to his experiences with the other newbie trainers, raising her eyebrows at him. "Well, then. I must admit, I'd like to see the ever-wonderful Dante Serven try and handle a fool like that. As for the other one . . . he just sounds like a pain in the a**. Reckon we should take him out?" Sure, it was not at all necessary, but she was tired of listening to dumb-a** children with no clue about Pokemon all day.
She was confused, though, when he talked about the Pokemon, shaking her head. "No, I've never heard of anything like that." A cat-like Pokemon with a tail and neck-tube? How interesting. Perhaps it was something of a new breed. "Well, it sounds rare - perhaps we can breed a few more of them with a Ditto and either sell them or use them, depending on their abilities."

"Why should I mess around with your skirt? You're the one wearing it. At least I'm not flipping it up." said Des with a shrug back at her. "Or they believe that Pokemon have become domesticated enough that you can send just about anyone out on a Pokemon journey, regardless of age or mental capacity. Which is still pretty stupid." He then smirked when she started going about the two Trainers he found. "Dante's trying so hard to hide the fact that he's a Gym Leader. I even let it purposefully slip and it went right over her head. As for the other guy, I tried challenging him to a battle, but he wore his team out with 'a suicidal Yamask' or something. Sounds like a weakling." When she shared her thoughts about the strange cat Pokemon, Des shrugged once more. "Maybe. Or it could have been something man-made, like Voltorb and Klink, only less machine-based and more like an actual animal. I mean, a normal Pokemon wouldn't have two necks." he said. They soon reached the bar, and he opened the door before gesturing to her. "Ladies first." he teased. 22

Regina rolled her eyes at Des. "I know. It's a wonder they don't have a rapidly climbing 'accident' rate." She snorted at him when he continued to talk about Dante. "He's a fool for pursuing that. No good can from a retard like that. And that kid . . . Arceus above, that's going to be amusing to watch." She sighed. "It's not fair. You get to go out and terrorise kids, and I get to interview the buggers and smile like I care about their troubles."
"Point taken. I still reckon it's worth looking into - I mean, who has the means to make something like that off our radar?" She shook her head at him when he opened the door for her. "Such a gentleman," she retorted. "Why ever do you not have a girlfriend?"

"You should have picked a better job than a surveyor, dear. Like a pirate. I mean, you did have ties to one of the syndicates in Hoenn, didn't you? Didn't Team Aqua dress like sailors or pirates or something?" Des replied with a smirk when Regina complained about her occupation while he got to go terrorize the other Trainers. He rolled his visible eye after the girl walked into the bar before replying to her retort. "Because I doubt she can keep up with a psychopath like me, and because I don't feel like having one now." he replied casually. 23

As she looked around it seemed that there wasn't anyone else around the city, and Alyss frowned at this. She had hoped to meet other trainers in the area that she could travel with but they were all gone before she had reached them. Oh well, she could go off and do some more training. Calling back each of her Pokemon to their Poke balls, she started to wander off. With Servine taking her place perched on Nolan's messenger bag, she add quite a lot of weight, yet Nolan didn't want to tell her off. Glad for his pokemon, still ecstatic about his Gyarados, and just overall incredibly happy to have met another trainer he could get along with, Nolan was in a good mood that was hard to kill. Even thinking about facing the Ranger again wasn't suddenly so bad. He arrived at the fountain much too late, noticing that the surveyor was gone as well. Tapping the shoulder of a nearby trainer, Nolan asked if they had seen where they had gone, and got at least pointed in the right direction. Unsure who else he could ask, he started checking all the businesses along the way, and thus, that was how he caught up with Des and Regina again - although, knowing them by entirely different names. Gripping the proof that he had beaten the gym, Nolan was rather light footed as he slipped into the bar when he spotted the two adults. He was curious what they were talking about, but also didn't want to be a bother. Edging up just into peripheral vision, he waved a little bit, and waited until one of them looked at him. Coming from: Routes 1 and 2 AdventuresComing from Route 1, Alyss started off straight towards the Pokemon Center where she handed Nurse Joy each of her Poke balls so that her team could get healed. So far she knew that two of her Pokemon could do well in the gym except for the fact they hadn't learned any electric moves. This will take a lot of training. Maybe that Zigzagoon I caught could be of some help somehow. She thought, looking over to the PC. When Nurse Joy called out for her, she went over and collected her team. She thought about them some more before shrugging. I think that I will switch someone out after the gym. But for now I should just take a break from training. Everyone can use a break. She thought, thinking she had made some good progress so far. Impatient to begin training again, Nolan fished out his paper map and journal from his messenger pack, and began making a few notes about his path to take to the next gym - Fort Ammoa. Standing to one side of the bar, he was scribbling away, making sure he knew where to go. It would just be a short hop-skip-and-a-jump away compared to all the walking he had done back and forth between the Ruins and Blyse. So he had done his part, also writing a short note for Chael and tearing it out. While he folded up the piece of paper, Nolan nodded to Lukas and Hayley, "I'm still interested in trying out for the Rangers, and I don't want to be a strain on your time. I'll be traveling to the Fort next, because I think the best thing I can do right now is continue my pokemon journey." For good measure, remembering Kiera, Nolan gave a small polite bow, and on his way out of the bar - not that he even felt comfortable there at all - he tossed the pokeball for Ninjask. Trainer and bug eyeballed each other for a moment as they exited the bar, Nolan opening the door for the buzzing insect. Nolan gave Ninjask the note and told him where Chael and Twill should be. The Ninja grasped the paper, gave a long loud cry, and zip-zipped up into the sky. Regina and Des had spent the majority of the night at the bar, but not stupidly getting drunk enough to spill their own secrets, Team Celestia or not. The only sign that made her remember that it was morning was when Nolan, one of her surveyed trainers and Des's kid, came up to them. How had he found them? Oh, well. Des was not known for being conspicuous, he probably pissed off some guy outside who told the kid where he was. She glanced over at her workmate, curious to see whether he would take off with him. She turned back to the kid when he left, shrugging. "Go chase your kid, Cyphers. I might head out to the Route and ******** with a few trainers, too."

Urgh... really? That kid came for him? Well, whatever. At least going with the kid would help him pick out some new Pokemon to catch. He needed to swing by the lab first to get his fossil resurrected. Though... he didn't recall ever telling anyone where he was going. So how did he find them? ... He must have asked around. He was in Ranger garb, after all, and people did tend to notice Rangers more readily. After draining a glass of water and some aspirin to alleviate his minor hangover, he smirked at Regina. "You have fun now. Don't break your toys too soon." He followed Nolan outside. "Hey. I need to swing by the lab first to resurrect a fossil I found earlier. I'll see you over by the entrance of Route 3 after I drop it off, okay?" 24

Damned straight, Nolan could do just about anything if he puts his mind to it, and locating one Ranger in a city wasn't impossible. Err, just so long as he's very lucky. But this time Nolan had sensed a bit of hostility, unsure now if he was supposed to go look for Des at all. That worry was replaced with curiosity about the fossil, and then he was back to remembering that he was going somewhere. Sort of nodding and nearly stumbling over his own feet, Nolan just ended up agreeing with Des, "Um, sure, right. I'll ... I was going that way. I'll meet you there. Erm, a few more trainers might show up. They're my ... uh, traveling partners." But yay, now he felt like he was getting somewhere for real, and if he was ten years old again, he probably would feel like skipping the whole way to Route 3. Already Ninjask rejoined him, too soon that Nolan thought maybe the Ninja had just dumped the note. But well, no way to really find out unless Chael never got it.
