Chuppi looked up in time to see Invictus appearing as well and, seeing as she'd only ever seen him from a distance, she bowed her head to him as well. It was awkward, she didn't know what else to do, but at the very least she could be polite while standing with her little group?

Olivia was definitely captivated by what the boil was telling her about the white flowers. She hadn't seen such wonderful looking plant before, so alive and so tranquil sitting upon the waters like they were. The lotus seemed like they were made for the place or even the other way around, fitting into a beautiful puzzle that was the island - hopefully the rest of the place held up this beauty.
A pure soul. Huh. "How would they serve as omens?" She whispered in question, curious about his insight and thoughts. Olivia found herself moving forward, pulling herself down on her knees besides the boil by the water.
"I don't think we have, perhaps we saw each other at the auditorium though?" The undead ghoul replied. "I'm Olivia, by the way. It's nice to meet you." She smiled softy.
[edit naaah] Suddenly, from the corner of her vision another ornately dressed individual appeared next to the attendant. He spoke politely and from what Olivia could see, a few of her new peers seemed to recognize him.
"Do you suppose he's important?" Olivia asked Ouranos.

Faustus was lounging back, taking in the oddly blue sky above (he had never seen a blue sky before) when a sudden clacking of heels caught his attention. The boil sat up straight, eyeing the front of the crowd, as a rather elegantly dressed gentleman bowed before the group and spoke.
The demon eyed him warily. The sparkling aura he portrayed seemed genuine, but something told Faussi this man was far more than privileged. He was powerful. He stared solemnly as the man's gaze crossed his, the blazing wings from his back flaring with tinges of deep red as his skin prickled.
Things were quickly becoming interesting.

He could see many faces that he recognized, his brows lifting slightly at that almost seething look he got from Zar, before he simply did something that was probably the last thing anybody would have expected from him - he smiled. Invictus wasn't the kind to seem warm in the least, but the fact he was home had simply hit the ceiling of his ability to just contain everything.
Though if his father had entered the scene that would have changed things.
His attention moved to Junko when she spoke up, however, the smile still very apparent on his face. "Thank you, Junko. I am very fond of it myself." he replied.

The pen was pulled from the paper.
That ...he mentally censored himself. That..misprint of a boil had the cheek to smile at him. Laughing he didn't doubt for a moment. He bet that the horseman was over the moon with the way his people's plans were coming together.

Dev was becoming increasingly aware of how perpetually-amusing Fallow’s head knocking was. A grin tugging at her lips, she lifted up an arm to playfully flick at his forehead. “Really? Ah think Bon is plenty cute, jist like ye.” She answered in a loud whisper, just to play along with him, though she suspected the loud volume hadn’t been completely on purpose. Fallow acted a lot like an excited minipet whose attention was constantly tugged by the creatures around it. It was fun to watch the puca dart from one to the next in a constant dance, but at the same time she wondered if it would eventually wear the boil down. Sighing, she patted Fallow on the head. “Calm down, okay? Yer lookin’ a wee tay excited.”
She scratched the back of one of her ears while she attempted to get another sweeping glance of the isle. Oh Jack, she had only been here for a little while and already she was beginning to grow fond of the scenery. Her gaze switched back to Bon. “Ye think? Ah guess we’ll have tae explore afterwards tae fin’ it.” Her expression turned especially eager at the prospect of exploring.
When the ghoul looked around the room again, she noticed a new occupant within the room. Dev hummed thoughtfully as she stared at the Heir conversing with a couple other students. She grinned at one of the other ghouls, whose hair had apparently been braided. She lightly tugged at the end of her own braid. Hmm. Anyways.
“Colorful.” Her tail swished, amused. “’at’s a pure nice way tae put it, thank ye.” Dev followed Mea’s finger, perking an eyebrow. “Oh? Why’s ‘at? Somethin’ caught yer eye?”

Grabbing a couple of the charms from the other cat-kind, he stuck them in his mouth unceremoniously, sharp points sticking between his lips as he started fastening the flowers around the now spread out in the braided group in front of him, making it seem more cascade-y than anything - if that were such a word.
Hearing the sound of another coming around them, Jack looked over Miss Junko's head to nod at Invictus, his mouth full of little flowers sticking out everywhere. He wasn't sure how he looked at the moment, but he didn't feel any more stranger than usual. In fact, he seemed ... calm with it all.

Willow's tail flickered in irritation, "You're lucky." She answered as her eyes narrowed on Johnny watching him assess Amarus. "No. I don't think he is" She added in a whisper pausing and adjusting her voice so he could hear.
"I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't stare at my friend like she's a piece of meat." It was one of the best assumptions Willow could make because she'd seen a look similar to that when it came to Cady and those spookie suits. Her arms crossed as she watched JD. Of course her current posture and facial expression was one of 'if we were in Aimity right now JD I swear I'd smack you and not think twice about it'. Wondering if he could understand what she wanted to get across to him.
Willow had to stop from snickering at Auri's comment about JD being so ghouly looking. "Say Auri, how do you know JD?" Despite the fact they seemed to be dropping hints in what she could catch on, she wanted to be sure if they were actually kin.
The tiger's attention then moved towards Chuppie who seemed a little timid. There was a smile as Willow watched her. "Of course you can the more the merrier." Having others around kept her from actually acting on the want to strangle him and her smile pleasant. This was going to be a long week. "So where are you guys headed after this? Do you know?"

Clacking her tongue lightly she turned back from her authoritative speculation to face her little group again. "It just smells promising." She added quickly in a matter-of-fact manner. A sudden sharpness had taken her as Fallow's attention had suddenly shifted back into her court. "Anything." The word seemed heavy as her tone shifted to a lower octave - merely a way to demonstrate it's power. Like a wind her voice shifted back to it's ecstatic self and she allowed him to poke at her stomach, which answered in turn with a rumbled wailing. "Oh there's lots of favorites. Pickled things, fresh things, dug up things, cooked things, bitter things, sweet things... and fleshy things." She added with another toothy grin.
With a loud inhale she began to take in air for another bout of explanation considering his observation, but was stopped shortly after and allowed the exhale to move from her in relative silence. Her bright eyes had caught the attention of something.. no... someone new, someone important that had moved towards the students. There had been no warning - even with her elongated ears there was nothing audible about his arrival until he spoke. Curiously she tilted her head in his direction, her pink eyes reflecting back his image for moments before she felt herself shrug it off.
Later she would probably revisit the idea of him and maybe even ask, but for now she was happily distracted by her immediate surroundings. For a moment she caught her vision focus on a nearby decoration before snapping back to attention.
Perhaps it was getting closer to that time.
With a small flick of her tail she resumed her attention back to her little band. "Have to always be doing something, can't ever not do anything." Quizzically she gazed back at Fallow, though her bright eyes followed to the faces of her other comrades. "Hunger is mine, but I breathe and move I suppose, just the same as anyone. It's no different to me than blinking, but far more vocal." She mused and leaned onto her heels, clacking back down in front of her with a loud "tack!" on the floor.
The sound echoed out but with the sudden volume increase of the nearby groups it fell into the chatter of others and disappeared slowly. "Oooh, you're welcome!" She said with her typical bright smile back in the way of Dev. "I like hearing different ways of speaking, sparks the imagination, y'know?" She left off her "y'know" in an open sort of way, but pulled back her attention to Bon with another flick of her small tail.
"But you look like you know direction better than me, and if they're not directing us somewhere I bet you could direct us directly to somewhere direct." She paused, thinking over her sentence. "I think in a more sensible way than I put it though."

Willow had taken the time to look around from her small crowd of. Her tail flickered as she looked around from JD to relieve some of the irritation, Her eyes stopped on Invictus. She turned to give him a respectful bow, "Thank you for letting us come." She said to him, "I love the scenery your home has to provide."

Lailah met Xiu's eyes with a hesitant smile. "If it is not a bother, I'd like that very much." She said softly, grateful for her kindness and the opportunity. She was glad for the other girl's optimism for it allowed her to relax, to make herself comfortable among everyone.
She looked up to see a new arrival, and for a moment-- She wondered if she should offer a friendly hi.
His appearance, and radiant smile stopped her in her tracks, as she found herself stammering. He looked as if he had stepped out of royalty. He was dressed in beautiful garments, with a proud yet dignified air around him. Tilting her head curiously to one side, she wondered if he was student. "He certainly doesn't seem like one." She thought to herself. Many of the students, however, seemed to recognize him. Several acknowledged him through a nod, while others bowed before him.
Hiding behind Junko and the braided locks of hair, she inched closer to Xiu, "H-he seems very popular here. Is he also a student council member?"

Bongani groaned loudly and shot a glare at Dev and Fallow "whispering" with each other. It looked like the witch doctor was flushing, but he refused to acknowledge that he was embarrassed. He scowled further and huffed, trying very hard to ignore the burning in his face. Fallow was quickly distracting him again though, first getting into Bon's personal space before practically buzzing about excitedly. The puca sure had a lot of energy.
"I wish I could say I could confidently lead you in the proper direction," Bon shrugged, "however, your guess is as good as mine, Mae. Perhaps we should just trust in your sense of smell, yes?" As he spoke, Bongani reached over and actually touched Fallow, patting the puca on the shoulder in an almost reassuring gesture. It was okay if the horse wasn't listening, it hadn't seemed like anyone much else had either.
"What kind of accent do you have, Dev? I'm sure I can't place it," Bon added politely, honestly curious about the origins of her colorful words. He honestly wanted to go and explore, but he was not about to take the initiative. He'd rather follow whoever took the lead. Too much responsibility leading others, no point in doing that.

The gold-coloured demon ghoul seemed like someone Amarus would like. Maybe not get along with, exactly, but definitely like; mostly because she seemed forceful, and very specific. She didn't seem like someone who'd mince their words to be kind, nor bother with anyone she felt was beneath her. That might be interesting. It was only a shame that she seemed like someone too well-dressed to be much for fighting. Not Amarus' thing. Still, she snorted at the comment about how much JD looked like a ghoul.
"I would be a strange piece of meat, Willow," she added, mostly as an observation. She was a ghost, after all. While her pin allowed her to become tangible, it wasn't like she was always this solid. She was grateful that her lotus aura still flickered across her skin, because she'd feel very cold without it, but her transparency was even less obvious than usual because of the restrictions on their forms in this place. Amarus, sadly, was not even capable of flirting. All she could do was stare at JD with her silver eyes and try to puzzle out what exactly this strange creature was all about. At least it looked like the conflict between him and Willow would keep her entertained. Chuppi was rather quiet.
To Invictus, Amarus offered a deep bow, her bells jingling. The lotus charm bound to her braid shifted in the light again, and she held her bow for a long enough pause as to be respectable. At least, this was what she thought-- it was mostly done out of instinct, so she wasn't sure if that was natural or not. Still, something about this particular clan headquarters made her feel at home, even if the sense of disgust she felt over the four clans was still creeping over her spine. She seconded Willow's thanks: "Thank you for welcoming us into your territory."
The ambassador had rushed out before she'd really gotten a chance to say much. "So... who wants to look around?" Amarus asked the group.

[Entering & Exiting]
Jack Damnit Where was he now? Valentino was lost and he knew it. He was on the right isle, There was that jaded, dolled up, and bloody genius Boil that Valentino had met at the beach. That was a good sign that he was in the right place, Conquest is conquest. Valentino just didn't know what to do now.
Just as he got in however, it was time to leave. There was no doubt about that. The other students had begun to pair up or join larger groups. Their communities growing and gathering resourcefulness. Individually they would have been like sheep, but now they were greater than the sum of their parts. Valentino couldn't just pick a boil or ghoul up now all willy-nilly. He would have to plot, make friends, and then he could strike.
But before that, Valentino needed to claim his bed. It was hard work always being late.
