Hello, After a very long absence I'd like to join in again. This has been a very crazy year, I switched credential programs, got a multiple subject and supplementary single subject credential for teaching, was just hired in August, and am a brand new teacher with a class at a new school that keeps on growing. As a first year teacher my time will be limited, but I've really missed the weyrs, wherholds, and my dragons and would liked to get involved again. My current riders are here and here, but the last thing I remember doing was winning a short story contest (I believe we were limited to 100 words) in the summer of 2013 while I was on vacation in Canada for a black dragon. I can't find that contest thread in the archives, any thoughts on where it could be, or if the dragon would still be valid? Is the jumpstart guide also current with the events from the last year so I have an idea of what's happened in Malvern, Benden, and Trine (there was the young gold in Southern who was trying to establish a new weyr when I left)?

Welcome Back! Skie's got the right link and your black dragon is still valid! All I would need is a character profile posted and a description of the dragon you'd like as well as what lines you'd like him on. As for the jumpstart guide I believe it should be fine? I'd need to go look again. If I'm remembering right it's been just under three turns since the revolution, and the wherhold Euclid is gaining steam. There is a good update post in the main thread if you'd like to know the most current updates from both weyr and wherhold.

I don't think there's an official information post on Euclid up yet but Natai's journal has some information on it, and Here we had a recruitment event for Euclid. aaaaannnnd here was an opening ORP for Euclid that might provide a bit more biggrin

The pm with dragon info has been sent to the mule, I'm working on the app now in a Google Doc, I'll paste it over to my placeholder post once I'm happy with the first draft. smile

I'm going to say, and Tawny can correct me on this, that as long as the RP has at least two characters and each character has the 15 post requirement to meet the expectations of a PRP, it can count as a PRP. I will say that the character posts should be like regular RP posts (a paragraph or two) and not a simple posted conversation - that will not be accepted as a PRP. =3

So long as most RPs you do aren't just between your own characters it's all good <3 EDIT: I would say that maybe one RP per rank you're trying to get could be an RP between two of your own characters? Does that sound reasonable?
