Melody Hikari-Shinu Anson OMFG THEY'RE BRINGING BACK THE PIKACHU MINI. *spazz* I still have both gens, even though they don't work. lawlz. Super Wonder Twin Game Powers, activate! FORM OF: A PEDOMETER! SHAPE OF: A POKEBALL!
There was actually some new info on it: It converts your steps into "watt", a currency you use to buy tools/items and the ability to catch wild Pokémon on the PW itself; Mini games blah blah blah. That's about it.

Man, everything about this remake is looking epic so far! I'm liking the sound of this PokéWalk very much. Portable Daycare? Heck yes. xp
Did people really think there would eventually be a remake for RSE?  I never really thought there was any need, since there's the Pal Park...

Did people really think there would eventually be a remake for RSE? I never really thought there was any need, since there's the Pal Park...
So no technical need + no fandom desire = not getting remade. Hoenn's titan trio plus Jirachi being available in HG/SS, I think, is also strong evidence against RSE remakes.

Though I have to lol at how Lugia is much more detailed and dynamic than Ho-Oh. That always seems to happen; Lugia gets a kick a** pose and Ho-Oh gets a rather boring one.
But 'tevs. I love them both. ♥♥♥♥ And the Arceus sculpture, for all the sense it makes, is pretty nifty, too.

Blah blah blah, a little bit of minute info.
First, the official Japanese HG/SS site has opened, but the only new things it revealed were the vague nature of the area "Edge of the Night Sky", a few clarifications on previous info, and a better map of Johto, which in itself inadvertently revealed three new locations.
The website can be found here. Even if you can't read Japanese, it's still worth a look around, because it showcases lots of clear screenshots, which are pretty nifty.
But according to the site, "Edge of the Night Sky" is actually an area on the PokéWalker that McD Jrachi opens up. You see, the PW has different areas that you can explore and currently there are four known ones: "Refreshing Field" and "Noisy Forest" you have access to right off the bat, and "Rugged Path" opens up after you take a certain amount of steps. And then there's "Edge of the Night Sky".
Next up, Johto's new map:
Pretty nifty, huh? But if you look closely, not only is there that new area to the left of the National Park, there's also a new area to the left of Goldenrod (which is NOT believed to be the Radio Tower), and Cianwood was severely expanded. There also appears to be a desert-like area north of Ecruteak, but no news site I visit has mentioned it and I haven't been able to stalk the forums, so I dunno if it's just Sugimori being lazy with coloring or actually a place of interest. Either way, we have no idea what any of these areas are.
Also, apparently, Silver now has two-toned eyes; One is gold and the other is silver. There is no official confirmation on this, but Japanese sources who have this month's issue of CoroCoro on hand state that the image of him definitely has two differently colored eyes.
And lastly, remember that weird event with Cynthia and Arceus and there was that screenshot that had someone talking about choosing one life from three and no one knew who the hell was talking? Well, apparently, it was Cynthia who was talking, and she was telling you what Arceus said. Or something. And the L.1 Dialga/Palkia/Giratina reward is apparently true, too.
Where did I put that Darth Vader SENSE THIS MAKES NONE macro...?

Man, those figures you get for reserving them in Japan look sweet... By my understanding of Japanese, if you reserve gold, you get the Ho Oh, silver you get Lugia, and if you reserve both you also get the Arceus.
