 Kyrin listened to both sides with interest. She knew her opinion wasn’t needed, seeing as she was the one who presented the twins’ file in the first place. She had figured that Levi would be all for giving them a chance, because that was the type of person she had come to know him as, open minded, much unlike Jaydn. While Jaydn was right that one needed to form a kind of trust with people before bringing them into their circle, he did have an uncanny way of putting people off and making them nervous. When Jaydn and Miles spoke to one another, a smile crept across her face. At least I know that Jaydn is an a** to everyone and not just me. It was a fact she had always been aware of, but seeing as he mostly took his displeasure out on her, she didn’t see it often. At Miles’ first assessment Kyrin listened intently. She figured that Miles for one would be opposed to how close they were. She, herself, had no problem with it; Kyrin thought two people who were so in tuned with one another would be useful.
The smile that tugged at her lips only grew as Jaydn made Miles’ want to not be the one to show the twins the ropes more readily known. It was not like Miles to want to work with anyone who would slow him down, and having someone new didn’t quite seem like Miles’ forte. At the suggestion that perhaps the men would fit in Levi’s department, Kyrin considered it. To her they seemed a little big to be doing that. Levi was small, able to get into places a lot of the other men couldn’t and the Flynn brothers were simply too big to be doing that. Kyrin continued with her silence. If her opinion was in fact needed, Jaydn would ask her, if not she was content with listening for the time being.

Charles stood up from his desk and pushed in his chair. Turning to the few other men in the room he said, ”Thank you for the hard work you have all put in today. I will finish up a little later, you are all welcome to enjoy the rest of your night off.” The men smiled and nodded to Charles and shut their laptops down. Charles waited for them to get their things together before he left the office with them. While the men went down the elevator talking of hitting the bars, Charles went up in hopes to find something to eat in the kitchen. As he walked down the hall, the scent of curry made his pace quicken. Entering the kitchen Charles noticed the others in the room. He was immediately surprised to see James in the room. Its interesting to see him back here. After the night at the bar a few months ago when Charles had first seen James, he had done a little research on him. Knowing him now as James Corleone, the son of one of Han’s allies, Charles had a new found respect for the man. Charles smiled to the occupants of the room. ”Evening Maddox.” He said with a nod, as he made his way farther into the kitchen. ”This looks delicious Nori.” Charles waited for Nori to give him the okay before he helped himself to a bowl of rice and curry. Turning then to James he said, ”My name is Charles Sweetland, I don’t believe that we have met properly.”

Nori turned his head when he heard Charles' heavy footsteps. No doubt, the smell of food was wafting around the entire floor, and more men would probably be arriving soon. He smiled upon seeing the friendly man and immediately waved off his compliment. Anything seemed delicious if one was hungry enough. Nori moved quickly to another plate and added a much larger portion for the obviously larger man. He saw Charles introduce himself and was relieved that he had no problem with Jamie being there. Jamie's presence wasn't causing any problems as of yet, but Nori was ready to try his best to defend him if had too (although he was also more than willing to let Ky handle Jaydn). Nori had no idea where Jamie had been to before returning to the group, but it must have been enough to drive him away at least. For all Nori knew, this may be a place of refuge.
He waited for Charles to finish his introductory sentence before appearing beside him with the full plate. "Help yourself as much as you'd like."

 Jaydn gave a nod to Levi. Good man. Jaydn appreciated honesty above almost all else, save loyalty. "Well, we'll see. Until then, you have my leave. If they work out, you'll know if they'll be with you."
After dismissing his men, Jaydn reached within a drawer, pulling a stack of papers out and laying them on his desk. He knew that Miles and Levi would leave when they were ready and he felt no need to rush them. Jaydn suspected that Kyrin, on the other hand, would be staying. They had business to attend to.

While Jaydn dismissed his men, Kyrin looked about the room, the smile still playing across her lips. She knew that Jaydn was going to want to talk to her, it seemed like he always did, for some reason or another. He's just to full of himself to realize when someone else is right for a change. She thought as her eyes settled on Jaydn again. Kyrin's opinion of her cousin had changed over the years that they had been alive. When they were young he was just another playmate and one of her favorites at that. And as they grew he was someone to look up to as he excelled in his classes and gained Uncle Han's approval. When Jaydn got claimed the heir to Han's mafia, however, Kyrin's utter respect for him came to a screeching halt. From then on he was her rival and she strived to catch up to him, even though he had four years on her age and a lot more experience for that fact. Now, Kyrin found him to be arrogant to a fault and at times wondered where he would be without the level head of Maddox and the cunning nature of Xavier.
She knew that Jaydn was going to find her decision to keep Jamie with them unacceptable, but she also thought him wrong in that.

 "Yes please, thank you." Maddox took the plate from Nori, smiling back at the younger man.
Taking his meal over to the table, he pulled out a chair and sat himself down. Muttering to himself, "Thank you for this meal", he slowly began eating. Maddox could have not eaten for a week and yet, when given a plate of food, would take his time to keep to his manners as he ate. The curry in his mouth was a portion of bliss upon his taste buds and he thanked Nori once more in his head for being such an excellent cook.
When Charles greeted him, Maddox, after swallowing whatever was left in his mouth, returned with "Good evening to you, Charles." Recalling the phone call the man had recieved earlier, Maddox was curious as to what it was about. He asked, wanting to find out, "How is everything?" hoping that nothing was wrong.

Charles accepted the hearty portion of food from Nori, Man, this kid sure knows how to feed a person. And with a broad smile he said, ”Thank you Nori.” At this he moved over to sit at the table with Maddox and James. Taking a seat he settled himself and exhaled happily. Placing a large spoon full into his mouth, Charles mulled over what Maddox asked, ”Ah.” He said slowly once he had finished chewing, ”Well, we had a bit of a problem with Andrew and Jonathan earlier. They were sent to retrieve something for Jaydn.” He was careful of not to say exactly what the item was in the presence of Nori and James but he continued none the less, ”They ran into a bit of…” He paused, grasping for the right thing to say, ”Well, no, that’s wrong. They made a bit of trouble. I don’t know what was going through their heads, but in the end they finished the job.” He heaved a sigh, ”We were cleaning it up for the past couple hours. We ended up paying off a few people.” He shrugged. ”If you want to pass that on to Jaydn for me, that would be wonderful. I am sure he will want to be talking to them. I have discussed it with them already, but I am not sure that they understand the extent of what they’ve done. I am sure cutting their salary for a little while might teach them to watch those tempers that they seem to have developed.” He laughed now, ”Jaydn better watch out, he may be rubbing off on his men.” And with that he went back to his dinner, enjoying every bite.

 As soon as Jaydn dismissed his other men, Miles took his leave as well. With one foot out the door his hand went immediatly to his coat pocket to a half empty pack of cigarettes. His feet were taking him to the kitchen where he would eat-and-run like he did everyday. It wasn't that Miles was being antisocial, it's just that he always had something to do, and the rest of the building knew it. He came into the kitchen leisurely, giving a nod to the others in the kitchen with a cigarette balanced on his lips. The maid-boy had already put some dinner in a bowl for him. "Thank You" he said and the kid just smiled at him. Through his expensive glasses, Miles noticed a familiar face in the kitchen as well. James Corleone was it? Well, that was some business that he didn't have to worry about right now. Mile gave James a nod anyways and took the bowl to go upstairs, where he would probably spend the next couple hours doing computer work.

Jamie watched, silent, moving food around on his plate to give the illusion he was eating more than he was, not that he wasn't taking a bite here or there, Nori's food was, in fact, delicious. He looked up from his plate to Charles. "No, I don't believe we have. James." He nodded to Charles, then Miles, though for the second man he didn't yet have a face to put to the name. In a room full of strangers, strangers, even, that could put him out of a temporary home, he became quiet, withdrawn. Subconsciously, he looked to Nori for comfort or approval.

Levi had excused himself from his bosses presence and was bounding full speed towards the kitchen. He crept up behind Nori, who was becoming one of his favorite people in the mansion for one reason. Food. "Dinner time?" He was excitable, as always, and the food smelled amazing. "Can I have some? Please? Pretty please?" He thought it was fun to ask, even if he already knew the answer. Nori was always good about making enough food for everyone. There was a relatively new face at the table, Levi thought he had seen the skinny boy before, but he wasn't sure. And the poor thing looked extremely uncomfortable. Sometimes indulging the fact that he had a soul, Levi left the boy well enough alone.

Their discussion didn't take more then a couple minutes and though their conversation had ended in a more pleasent and playful tone, Kyrin still found herself in a foul mood. Kyrin knew that Jaydn was going to have a hard time with Jamie staying in the building, but the way she saw it, Jamie would know how his mafia would come after him, if they found out where he was, and she knew he would help them to form a plan accordingly. Not only that, but she knew Jamie to be a pretty good shot. She didn't know if he had used a gun in a while, but with their practice rooms he would be back up to par in no time. Making her way up the elevator and to the floor where Nori and the others were spending their time in the kitchen, Kyrin found herself more hungry then she had originally thought. Maybe I will stay around and eat. Kyrin normally spent her early evenings up in the training rooms, practicing with her katana, but this night she realized she wasn't in the mood. When she practiced, she cleared her mind of all her worries, but at the moment, she couldn't shake the feeling that Jaydn was going to try and throw Jamie out of a home. She would fight for Jamie, if Jaydn couldn't see his worth, and she hoped on everything that she would win. Entering the kitchen, Kyrin noticed Jamie to be just where she had left him, but now with a plate of food in front of him, Good. She thought lightly, He needs to eat. She said hello to those in the kitchen before making her way over to Nori, knowing that he already would have a plate for her. Noticing Maddox at the table with Charles, Kyrin called over,"Oh, Jaydn wants you to know that he is starving." Kyrin herself didn't think that Maddox should jump up and run food to Jaydn, but she knew that's what he would do, it was in his nature to think of others before himself.

Maddox gave a laugh in response to Charles' answer, neither wanting to agree with the man's evaluation of Jaydn's well-known temper but also not being able to deny the truth of it. In all honesty, Maddox hadn't really been too concerned with the issue at hand. Charles was good for taking care of most of the problems he and his men came across and that was a good reason as to why he was chosen to be a department head. All of their division leaders had proven to be fairly independent, which made Jaydn's, and in turn Maddox's, job easier. Maddox, taking a pen from his breast pocket and scribbling Japanese characters onto a pad of paper atop of his pile of work that sat beside him, said, "I will tell him."
About to continue with his meal, Maddox gave a greeting to his cousin when she made her way into the kitchen. At her words, Maddox placed his spoon down upon the table, saying, "Ah, alright. I'll ask for a larger portion today." Standing, he gave a nod to Charles, "Excuse me." before going over to Nori.
Coming up to the younger man, Maddox asked politely, "May I have a larger serving of curry for Jaydn, Nori?" To others, it could seem that Maddox was simply overdoing the amount of work he did for his brother but in his own eyes, things like this were what Maddox job was made of and he didn't mind it in the least.
Once receiving the plate of curry and thanking Nori once more for the meal, Maddox gathered his own things before leaving. He walked out balancing his own plate on top of his stack of papers which he held in one arm and Jaydn's plate in his other. He would finish his meal with his brother so that they could talk of the course of the day and their plans for the next. Hopefully that wouldn't take too long. Maddox had a call to make.

As more people started to fill the kitchen, Nori was more than happy to supply them with a meal. Cooking was one of the few things about himself that Nori was proud of, so he was glad to help in any way that he could. Levi's voice from behind made him turn around. Anyone this enthusiastic made Nori equally as excited.
"Of course, Have as much as you'd like." He said smiling and handing him a plate.
He turned his head to look around the kitchen for anyone else that needed a serving and saw Jamie's dismal expression. No doubt, he must be feeling out of place here. He only knew (or at least got a long with) a few of the people in the building. Nori caught his eye and gave a bit of a shrug and a shy smile. There wasn't much that he felt that he could do for Jamie, but maybe a friendly smile would help for now. In his distracted glance, Nori turned around and walked right into the cutting board that extended from the shelves.
Now that it was hanging out of the island almost broken, and that Nori had successfully made a fool of himself,( embarrassed and pretending it didn't happen) he busied himself with making another plate for Jaydn as Maddox had requested. "Sure! Here you go."
Despite the fact that Nori knew Jaydn hated him, he consoled himself with the fact that at least he liked him enough to eat his cooking. If he was around a brother as nice as Maddox all the time, maybe he'd grow used to Nori's own meekness.

Levi grinned and sat himself in an empty seat at the kitchen table, beside the skinny boy. He looked over the unfamiliar man, and then over the whole table, his mouth full the entire time, so he was respectfully silent. Even obnoxious Levi was averse to the sound of food in his mouth. He looked at the skinny newcomer again, then directly and pointedly away, staring at his plate. There was something he didn't like about the man, and it wasn't just because he was better looking than Levi. He was secure enough in his sexuality to admit to that one, even if he didn't do so aloud. Out of place, he wondered when he was going to get an evening off again, to go spend time with his girlfriend. He made a mental note to ask Jadyn about it, nicely, because he didn't want to get turned down.

Kyrin had been following Maddox with her eyes while he got Jaydn's food, thinking, He's like Jaydn's little pet. She shook her head to herself as he left balancing his things, He may be better off in a circus at this rate... Jaydn needs to find him something better to do then errand boy. She noticed the smile that Nori gave to Jamie and saw him walk into the cutting board. She smiled a little and then turned her attention to Jamie as well. It seemed that Nori had noticed that Jamie didn't seem to keen on being there at that moment. Kyrin ate a few bites of her food, savoring it, and then said, "Jamie? Should I show you your room? That way you can get settled." She gave him a warm smile and stood, taking her plate over to the sink while she gave Jamie a minute to figure out if that was what he might like to do. She had eaten about half the portion that Nori had given her, not feeling particularly hungry.
