Jaydn gave a glance to Ky, who remained in her chair as the other left, and, placing the Flynn brother’s file away in a drawer in his desk, he started, ”You hung up on me.” During the interview, Jaydn had shuffled the earlier phone conversation to the back of his mind but now, just thinking about it, he could feel himself becoming increasingly irritated with his cousin. It wasn’t just that she hung up on him but also a number of other things, issues he would discuss with her at this moment. He was finished with waiting.

 Kyrin shifted in her chair, finding a more comfortable position. She slowly crossed one leg over the other as the smile fled her face. ”I didn’t hang up on you. She said flatly.
“The conversation was not appropriate for that current.”

”Really?” Folding his arms across his chest, Jaydn sat back in his chair, his tone distinctly condescending, ”Would you deem this moment appropriate for said conversation, your Royal Highness?”

Kyrin glared at him, Oh he thinks he’s funny… His comment irritated her, ”If it’s a good time for you boss.” She said the last word in a mocking tone.

Jaydn went straight to business, ”He’s not staying.” His tone left no room for argument.

Jaydn’s tone meant nothing to Kyrin, ”Yes he is.” She paused, knowing that if she didn’t stop it before it started, they would argue in the childish ‘yes huh, nu-uh’ way. ”He’s skilled, he could be helpful to us.”

”Yes, he’s skilled.” It seemed for a moment as if Jaydn was going to agree and consider the point. However, he continued to speak, ”And I’m sure that as helpful as Corleone would be, he’s just as dangerous for being so skilled.”

Glaring to express how well he took to her response, Jaydn explained, "He can't be trusted, there lies the difference between him and the men in my mafia. For all we know, this could be some elaborate plot to backstab and overtake Uncle Han." At the thought of such betrayal, Jaydn's blood was beginning to boil, a fire reflecting in his eyes.
