Personality: Once a very playful, joyful youth, his experience over time has somewhat changed him. Becoming a father toned him down, and the sorrow from the loss of his mate drove what little spark was left in him almost completely out. Through his daughter and his work with cubs, a little of his former self has returned, and he can even be playful around his charges at times though when left alone to his thoughts he may appear increasingly somber.
History: He was born in the pridelands to an odd pair of lions and a large family. He grew increasingly unsettled over his rogue coloring in a golden society and eventually sought out life outside the boundaries of his beloved homeland. He met his mate, Embamba, an older lioness on the verge of death when they crossed paths. Through their connection, he brought back her hope, and she led him to her home where they raised four beautiful cubs together. All was well until Embamba disappeared, and with her went all of Isithunzi's hope. Leaving with one daughter in tow and one son estranged, Issy went out to try and find his beloved mate. He grew increasingly desperate and disheartened as the days passed, even searching for comfort in passing females (at least one of which resulted in cubs), until he found the Mizimu'Tungika. A somewhat rough society, many lions find it crude, but in it Izithunzi saw hope and through his work there he has regained a little of his former self.
