Aedus decided to return just for the heck of it, maybe he would get lucky and find a familiar like he hoped he would. If not maybe he could get some more candy or something. He shrugged as he walked around looking at the different booths. Aedus grumbled another trick and another plushie, maybe he could give all the plushies to Nimah she should like girly stuff right?? Aedus wanted to whack his head into a wall, maybe if he invited Nimah she would be his good luck charm and he'd actually find another familiar?? Aedus picked up his cell to see if she wanted to come join him at the festival. If not at least he could make plans to give her all these plushies.
Niamh was at a drink stall, sipping orange soda out of a cheepy plastic pumpkin cup. She'd been casually playing games, but everyone kept thinking she was a Freshling, and trying to reunite her with a caretaker. ... The challenging of still being in the size range of a Freshling.
It probably didn't help that due to her tiny size she'd needed to pick out a freshling costume. So there she stood in the pinkest, poofiest princess dress possibly imaginable. On the bright side, it did have pockets. In one of which was her phone.
It started vibrating, and she fished it out, trying to juggle it and her drink. "Hello ? Oooh, Aedus! Hi! Actually, I'm already here. I'll come find you." Sh grinned, and stuff her phone back into her pocket, making her way through the crowd.
She spotted her friend near the entrance. "Aedus!" She gave him another one of her personal space ignoring hugs. In a rare bit of consideration and awareness she avoided spilling her drink on him. "Would you believe that everyone keeps thinking I'm a Freshling? Oh well, now that we're hanging out I bet that'll stop!"
Aurelia must be pretty oblivious when she eats to not notice people dropping things into her bucket, like the lollipop and plushie just now.
Lural
Iolanthe had absolutely no idea what these bottles of fizzy stuff were or why they were being given out except for the novelty, but the plushie that was attached to it was adorable.
Kohaku smiled as they were given another lollipop to enjoy, wondering what flavor it was this time as they observed the color of the swirls.
Chidori went with her group to another house for trick-or-treating, smiling her sweetest (and sugar-fueled) smile as they dropped a bag of candy corn into her bucket for her. She had no idea what it was but could only assume it was delicious like everything else.
Yaruka tried to keep her freshling group in line as best she could but she lost track of one of the kids for a brief minute. She was about to go into panic mode when they came back with a strange glowing rock, handing it to the fallen innocently. The rock made her feel weird but it was pretty....so she couldn't stay mad.
Falan had his daughter in stitches because he was trying to cram a large lollypop in his mouth and it was having trouble fitting. She thought it was fantastic, and while he didn't like drawing attention to himself, this was for his daughter and it was so nice to make her laugh.
Runaldi was giggling and idly playing with the keychain she'd gotten. Her father didn't do silly things often, so this was a treat she was enjoying immensely. She did in fact know the game the keychain had come from, but was smart enough not to tell her father that. Besides, aside from the nightmares, it was a fun game.
As tricks had gone so far, this wasn't so terrible at least. Stale food he could handle at least.
Shisume played a bit with the bracelet she'd just gotten, while she carried her pail and cuddled the plushie she'd found neglected under a stall. It was a bit dirty, but her brother had promised to wash it for her. She was used to her toys looking like this, but it was nice to have a soft one and this one was like her; damaged and thrown away but now found and loved.
Thinking about the costume contest, Nashira was actually a little nervous. She didn't typically get in front of people, but if it was a contest, she would have to, right? she fussed with the hem of her skirt a little, and took a deep breath. She knew she didn't have to enter, but it would be fun... right?
Kingston:
While Kingston was musing about his friends and new familiars, he didn't notice a little freshling tie a paper ghost to his bucket.
Mmmm, there were so many yummy treats at the festival. Vega acquired a chocolate bat and was nibbling on one of it's wings.
Meadow:
It was fun watching his new familiar eat the broccoli he had given it. Clearly, this little guy was coming home with him. When he finished eating, he'd have to show this guy to Aurelia.
Charon:
Passing one of the tents, there was a very appropriate song about candy playing. Charon found himself singing along, and was gifted a sugar skull for actually knowing the lyrics.
Keahi:
Sometimes Keahi had to wonder if people were simply being careless with their belongings. They found a yellow duck-like keychain on the ground and picked it up, taking it with them.
Parfait:
There was no hiding the little squeal that came out of Parfait's mouth when she was handed a pumpkin bracelet. It was too big for her right now, so she put it in her basket. She LOVED it!
Fiona:
Clearly, the world was made of sugar. Fiona was given a pretty sugar skull because she 'looked so sweet, sitting by the fountain.' Uh-huh. Sure.
On their way back to school, Sound Lee couldn't help but try for a prize one last time. He held out his bucket and said "Trick or treat!" to a passerby. They smiled at him and gave him a bag full of candy. "Thank you! Happy Haunted Hallows and good night!"
Zalir nodded. "I think I'm ready to go home now," zey said. Still not daring to link arms, the two of them set off back to campus. On their way back, Zalir held out zeir bucket and said "t-trick or t-treat!" To zeir surprise, it worked--zey got a bag full of candy. Zey smiled and wished zeir benefactor a good night.
Chries followed Zalir's lead and held out his bucket as well. He got a bag full of skulls and a stuffed rabbit. He smiled at Zalir. "Haunted Hallows is the best holiday of the year, isn't it?"
Jie got to the back of the haunted house just as the doll got out. As she passed into the patio where the actors were relaxing on break, a dark Geist handed her a bag of candies. "Good luck," they murmured, and flashed Jie a grin. Their chin jerked towards the doll. O-oh!
Ebene had gotten to the festival late, but was still happy to tour the place and look at the decorations. She picked up a cauldron and a lantern and looked around. Someone handed her a crystal ball. She smiled and thanked them for the gift.
5, 17, 6, 6, 2, 3, 12, 16, 13 ooeeeoeeo zinnia and the freashlings she had been caring for made there way back to her house. where they could get more tricks and treats.zinnia got some raisins as she took a familiar that had been fallowing her to the room with all her new infants sleeping, as loki got an eye, oops zinnia shouldn't have probably got the tricks to treats mixed bag but it didn't bother loki. kahula got a key chain and a strange orange plushie, she was quite happy.

zinnia couldn't help but bring home a familiar that fallowed her for her one of her daughters. she put this revant in the crib and smiled before leaving to take the kids back out trick or treating. hoping she could bring back more gifts.
azure,azriel and kahula made there ways to there next house with there pails and hand out and a cheery tone, with the magic words they revised there gifts.

Aedus couldn't help but chuckle "You don't make me think of a freshling anymore, but then again I met you when we were both freshlings, so kinda hard for me to make that mistake.. Uh do you want this plushie?? I keep getting the things." Aedus grumbled and did his normal, what the heck is she doing pat on the backs in response to her hug. Aedus nodded and then said "I guess so.." he mumbled. Aedus sighed at least he hadn't won another darn plushie, but he still wasn't having any luck finding familiars. "Have you seen any cool familiars?" He asked Niamh. He grabbed a bag of skull candies and offered her some.
Usha grinned as she led one of her daughters into the Haunted Hallows festival. She opened her mouth to ask Felicity where she wanted to go when something ran full tilt into one of her legs. "Hey now!" she said is surprise, bending down to pick up the heavily panting fennekit. "Somethin' chasing you, cutie?" she said and scratched its head. "Think mama Dulcie would like it if we brought this one home?"
Felicity giggled and reached up to pet the fennekit. "I think mama won't be able to say no to both of us," she snickered. After a few minutes of petting their new fennekit, Felicity went over to play a trick or treat booth for both of them. "I got raisins and caramel eyeballs," she said with a sly smile, knowing her mother would take the raisins and leave the sweets to her.

Iggy grinned as she and her son Osborne made it to the Haunted Hallows festival. "Where to first, kiddo? Want to try a trick or treat booth first?" she asked and when Osborne nodded in answer she led him to the closest booth. She took her turn first and won a rock and a spider plushie. "Hey, cool! Your turn, Ozzy," she said and moved aside.
Osbourne grinned and patted the head of his mom's new plushie before taking his turn. "Ooh, look mama, I got cotton candy!" he grinned and immediately put a piece of the fluffy stuff in his mouth. "Om nom nom~!"

Dorian grinned, hands on his hips as two of (what he considered) his kids stared at the festival. They weren't actually his biologically, but they were his wife's kids, which pretty much made them his. Tali lived with them, and Cress usually lived with her actual bio-dads who were good friends of his and Pawsa's. Wow their family was complicated. He shook his head to clear it and clapped his paws together. "Where to first?" he asked as they all grabbed their lanterns and buckets. "Shall we try our hands at a trick or treat booth first?"
Vitalia was still trying to get a read on this guy who was married to his mom now. Dorian seemed pretty cool, but was he supposed to call him Dad now? Anyway. "Trick or treat booth sounds good," Tali said and looked over to Cress to see what she wanted to do.
Crescentina nodded and smiled. The trick or treat booths sounded like a good idea. Maybe she would get something sweet. She watched as Dorian and Tali went first, winning a lollipop for Dorian and a plushie for Tali. "Is that a tooth, Tali?" she shuddered and took her turn, winning a cotton candy.
Wynne very happily grabbed a lantern and a bucket for himself as he entered the festival. He was so excited and couldn't wait til he could get started! As he swung his bucket a little, he heard a rattling in it and looked inside. "Um...bones? Really?" That was weird...
Isadore wasn't quite sure about this festival thing, but she was curious enough to put off her practice until the next day to come look. She picked up a bucket and a lantern, scowling at the creepy turnip thing inside her bucket. She ignored it and tried a game, a dart game, and managed to win herself an orange plushie.

Artemis had gotten separated from her mom and twin, but clutched her lantern and cauldron to her chest as she bought herself a cone of cotton candy.
Haruka was trying really hard not to freak out. There was a lot of Nightmares and Daydreams here and he still wasn't used to so many bodies in one place. "Okay, Haruka," he mumbled to himself. "You can do this." Just then something flew into his face and he screamed, falling back onto his butt and trying not to hyperventilate. "O-oh...it's just...a flitterat...right..." he groaned and laid his head down.

Libertina was pretty excited about the Haunted Hallows festival, and even more when she was able to grab a hot pink cauldron for her candy bucket. This was going to be awesome! Her first booth netted her a pretty glowing necklace. "Whoo!"
Xiomara surveyed the festival and picked up a bucket for whatever she gathered. The bucket rattled and she looked inside to find a rock. "Lovely," she muttered.
Kitalpha grabbed her bucket and a lantern and wandered off into the festival where she tripped over a weird rock...and a flitterat. "Well, aren't you a cutie?" she murmured and picked it up, settling it on her shoulder.

Ophelia wrinkled her nose as her first attempt at a trick or treat booth was a box of raisins. "Ew."
Niamh's eyes lit up as Aedus offered her the plushie. "Really?!? Oh thank you! It's soooo cute!" She hugged the plushie to her chest, grinning. His grumbling has no effect on her. As far as the tiny Fey was concerned it was just a part of who he was. She popped one of the skull candies into her mouth, while looking around. She spotted a balloon popping game across the thoroughfare.
"Oooh, we have to play that one! Look, the grand prize is a flitterrat!" She grabbed his hand and hauled him across to the booth. As much as the tiny Fey could haul the much taller Elf.
After a brief word with the stall attendant, she had tucked the plushie under her arm, darts in hand. Her first throw stuck into the backboard, no where near a balloon. The second popped a yellow balloon. Consolation prize. She squinted her eyes and threw her final dart, right at the centre grand prize balloon. It popped. She sucked her breath in. "What? Wow!"
The booth tender handed her a small cage, with a curious double-winged flitterrat inside. She turned to Aedus, a huge grin on her face. "Look! I won her for you!" She offered the cage to him. "Is she interesting enough for your horde?"
