((Ooh, I just thought since you didn't post the guard going to bed, I assumed he still needed to respond to Alexander. Very well then! I'll edit this post in a bit for Alexander; don't feel like typing anything right now. EDIT: Now I do.))

Now that everyone was asleep, Alexander was free to start reading that mysterious small black book that he didn't remember signing out from the library. Alexander still had a slight emotional and magical boost from the Moon Sugar, so he couldn’t contain much of his emotions like he usually did. Alexander sat down in front of Henna's work desk on the same chair she fell asleep in right after the ball and just before the Ball incident where every light in the castle went off. Alexander took the small black book from the top of the book pile and opened it. From the back the book had many blank pages till Alexander reached the front of the book. Alexander considered this book to be quite odd in writing style, but things explained themselves more when he checked the cloth bookmark. Hidden in the ruby red bookmark was a message written in very fancy hand writing in nice golden lettering. The message read as followed:

Dear Alexander, my master has assigned you to keep this very valuable book for safe keeping. My master gave me strict instructions to sneak this book into your library book stack so you may keep it out of the hands of my master's enemies and learn what happened at last night's events. I highly advise you be the only one to read this book till my master can contact you; he would be very sore if you were to let someone else read this book. You are by no means to let anyone even touching this book other then yourself. Follow these instructions and do with the book as you please other then exploiting its secrets. This book in your possession can record all speech it comes in contact with once this book mark is removed. My master is depending on you Alexander; don't fail him.

-Sincerely, Jeeves.

Alexander stared at the bottom of the letter and immediately his Moon Sugar high wore off. Nothing made sense anymore; Jeeves would have died a long time ago since Jeeves was in his forties when Alexander was just two. How would it be possible for Jeeves to still live after so long? There was obviously some kind of magic involved, but who could have such magical prowess? Alexander wanted to think it was his father who the letter called 'master' but Tou never lied when it came to executions. Was it possible that Alexander's father was still alive and if so, where and why did he want Alexander to keep this book? Alexander flipped through the pages more and could see the outline for a conversation, but decided it would be best to start from the first page.

On the first page of the book it had the words Oh dear 'This isn't good at all! Were in the world could it be? This won't be good at all.' Alexander was unsure on who that was, but the words 'oh my' struck as something Jeeves would say, so the first words were from Jeeves after he had planted the book. The next few lines of words were a unrecognizable; probably chatter among the library's scribes. The next line of words took a greater notice, since it said 'Please, my good scribes, we require a moment of Privacy!' which Alexander assumed was asking the scribes to leave so whatever went on in the library would be a well kept secret. After that were words that could only be identified as the Queen's very words: 'Trust captain of the knights. My son and soon to be King. I only speak these words to you, for I trust you two the most. Come.’ There were obviously things in this book that were quite valuable in the wrong hands; Alexander wasn’t sure if he wanted to read more or even burn the book so whatever was inside didn’t upset him. Alexander started to worry more: What if the secrets in the book were about him? Maybe that was why this book was given to him and his father -if it was his father- was trying to reveal something to him. That couldn’t be it; not everything revolved around Alexander, but he was still unsure if he should continue. Alexander wanted to know what the secret in this book was; he couldn’t deny wanting to know, but then it would haunt him. Alexander began to close the book and readied to throw it into the fire, but then a thought occurred to him; what if the castle was in danger? What if this secret held a way to defend it? Dirt Bloods do like to keep secrets even at the cost of other’s safety. Alexander didn’t want anyone to get hurt by anything, especially his friend Henna. Alexander placed the book back on the desk and continued reading it.

Alexander looked at the next line of words to find ‘well mother, tell us, what is this secret?’ Alexander could identify that as the Queen’s son since he used the term mother. Apparently this secret was only known maybe to the Queen and the King possibly. The next sets of words were larger than the others in the book and more importantly they were from the Queen. ‘Please understand Ric. It's not your age that concern us, it was the additional responsibility that comes with it. It's a heavy burden to carry. Me and your father felt that you had too much to worry about as it is.’ So it was true; the King knew about it too and so far this secret was becoming less interesting as Alexander went on since it was a burden and not an immediate threat. Alexander didn’t want to let words draw him off to learning the truth, but Dirt Bloods seemed to have a nasty habit of drawing things out. After the sentence from the Queen, she kept speaking; she started to speak about something the father read; probably a book telling a story. ‘Remember when you were little. Your father read this to you boys before bed.’ Now Alexander was defiantly bored of what this secret was about; probably just some Dirt Blood superstition, so Alexander stopped reading. Perhaps there was more to this if Alexander kept reading, but he would need a bit more tea before he would pick up this book again to try the read the drawn out Dirt Blood conversation.

The first rays of morning light darted though the window brightening Henna's face and waking her up. AS she slowly came to Henna moaned softly and held tighter to what ever she was laying against. When her eyes opened she was startled to see the Prince asleep by her side. She jolted up a little flustered and glanced around her room. His two companions were sleeping on the floor, the little ungrateful dogs! She wanted to get up but knew it would wake them up if she got off the bed, so she laid back down softly trying her hardest to not make any sound. Henna was a very good hostess and she knew that waking you guests before they awoke on their own was one of the worst things you could do.

((Made an edit to my earlier post where I was too lazy; it is yours to read if you wish; it doesn't directly interact with any other characters in the short term.))

Alexander had stayed up all night just staring at the little black book. He didn’t know if he should read it more or just leave the bookmark untouched on where it was. Alexander knew no one could get hold of this book, especially those who were featured in it. If the Royal Family knew Alexander had this book, he would be in deep trouble. All he had to do was hold onto till the true owner of the book came to pick it up and finally reveal who Jeeves referred to as 'master'. If this 'master' person was really Alexander’s father, maybe there was a chance his mother was still alive and he could finally achieve the wealth he so rightfully deserved, but what about Henna? Alexander couldn’t just leave Henna or his other friends behind if the owner of the book was his father, but maybe Alexander didn't have to leave. Whatever the future held for Alexander, a new day was starting and that meant a whole new set of events that could further reveal secrets and schemes.

Alexander was extremely hyped up on Tou Power Tea, but due to his magical prowess was able to withstand any of the negative side effects for at least till the evening tonight. Alexander busted through the entrance of Henna's room and yelled with rare enthusiasm.

"Good morning everyone! Rise and shine; the early wizard discovers the cure to Griffin pox first!"

Alexander -despite the book he had come to have- was as happy as ever due to the Moon Sugar and didn't like that every one was still sleeping. Royalty or not, everyone had to get up at some point and time. Alexander had hidden the black book in his possessions bag along with all of his daggers and the small bag of Moon Sugar. Alexander just had to hope no one would snoop in his stuff or he would get in big trouble.

User ImageJewlet looked up at the castle walls. she gritted her teeth and walk on to the castle grounds. She was headed strait for the king. Now everything has seemed to cool down and she could pass easily. Making her way down the castle hall, she stopped and took a breath. Hopeful that king did not hear about my horrid act from yesterday. She thought before she starting walking again.

User Image Underneath the sheets came a low moan. Niro manage to find an Inn for the night. There was no point looking for Grant at that hour. So he settle down at an Inn with a stable and head up to the room. Morning were always the hardest part of the day. And the birds chirping outside the window didn't help much either. Rolling over, a hand appeared out of under the cover. Patting on the side table, the hand manage to fine a small vile with a blueish-purple liquid inside. The hand grabbed it and pulled it under the sheets. After a few mins, Niro emerged out from the covers. The things I do..., He thought to himself until he was interrupted by the louder chirps of the birds. "Yeah, yeah, I know, I'm up! Morning to you too." He got out of bed and stretched out his arms. Looking in the mirror, Niro watched as his raven black hair slowly turn into a deep forest green. Smiling to himself he grabbed a towel and went to get washed.

Prince Ric tossed and turned in his sleep two nights in a row. The queen's words seemed to sir something inside of his mind that had long ago been put away. In his dreams, he was young again, but so much was darkness.

"No fair! Come back here!"

"Come on Cy, you can run faster then that!" the young Ric seemed to laugh, then suddenly he was on the ground, his shoulder sore. as he looked up the walls seemed to move, then... nothing.

User ImageJewlet stopped in front of a guard and began to talk to him. She smiled lightly as the act of yesterday had been put aside. She went down the hall happy, even though not showing it. Now, she would have to find something to do that didn't get her near the second prince. She sighed lightly and stopped where the hall ended at the stairs. Taking a seat, she began to think. Was all that she heard about Grant true? Has he really become a drunk in such a short time. This is not right.

At the sudden noise, Leon and Aiden jumped up and immediately assumed defensive positions. As they became more coherent, they relaxed slightly, recognizing the Tou from the day before. They look to their master, noticing with happiness that their Prince was also coming to.

Slowly, Dainne opened his eyes. I'm in... a bed? Did I get carried back to the inn?He sat up and quickly surveyed the area around him. He immediately took notice that this wasn't the room he had rented at the inn. As he looked down at the bed, he jumped with a start when he saw Henna laying next to him. Quickly he jumped out of the bed, blushing slightly as he bowed before her. "My apologies mi'lady. I didn't know where I was." Glaring at the two behind him he shook his head. "I thought I told you two that I couldn't take her bed."

Leon and Aiden both nodded their heads vigorously, and Leon spoke up for the both of them. "Our apologies your Majesty, but the Lady said that we should let you have the bed and that... that we should also share it with you. We tried to obtain a cot or something of the like but she insisted and you taught us better than to argue with a Lady." He paused for a second trying to catch his breath before looking at the Tou, a plea in his eyes. "Of course, she also said the bed was five times the size needed for her... so we thought that instead of letting her sleep on a table as she had planned to do, we asked our Tou friend here to levitate her to the bed so she could sleep in comfort as well. We meant not to embarrass you mi'lord."

Sighing Dainne looked over at the Tou and smiled. "I thank you sir for assisting the Lady as you have done. I only wished you had moved me to the table in her stead, as would have been proper. He frowned as a sudden realization hit him. "You were the one who brought us the tea last night. I knew it contained Moon Sugar, a rare enough substance that we take great lengths to insure as well an import as we can from the Tou Kingdom to my own. Could it be that the tea you served us last night was the famous Tou Tea? I have spoken with mercenaries on my travels about such a tea that enhances your magical power."

"Yes, but I apologize for the affects it caused; I didn't know it could be so odd for..."

Alexander quickly remembers his manners towards others and quickly came up with another term to replace Dirt Blood. Most Tou were quite rude to Dirt Bloods and used the term often, but Alexander was a half Tou so he thought it would be more proper to use the term Non-Tou. Most Tou were quite wealthy, but since Alexander was an Impure Blood, his father's wealth wasn't passed down to him.

"...Non-Tou. If you wish, you can have the rest of the Moon Sugar I have; I don't want to be tainted by its hold on me. Now! What will be your agenda today good sir? I believe we never been introduced."

Alexander wanted to know the man's name since he seemed to be a new friend of Henna's and to properly remember him other than that guy with purple hair; Alexander wanted to know his name. Alexander bowed and spoke at the same time.

"My name is Alexander Morigaton, assistant to Lady Henna."

Alexander hadn't said his last name in a long time, but reading that black book made him think more about it and where his family truly was in the world. Now that Alexander was free, he had dreams and hopes again for the world and he was going to make a name for himself. The Morigaton name would be back to the top like it used to be in the Tou Kingdom. No amount of Impure Blood would stop him from achieving such a goal. Tou were great diplomats and magic consultants, but never worked as such outside of the Tou Kingdom; Alexander would be one of a kind. This would occur even if Alexander’s father was alive; the Tou spent too much of their time cooped up in their Kingdom. The world needed to be enlightened and the Tou could do it if they weren’t so selfish. Alexander decided he would be the first of Tou to lead the way to greater understanding, though such a task seemed almost impossible at the moment; Alexander would just settle with meeting someone new today.
