Cadet Daesva ★
Of course she stayed. It would have been hypocritical in her mind to have left, given her typical stance on combat. Defending life, this planet... she felt it was a requirement. So yes, she stayed, and there she stood that night, taking a less than cheerful note of their presence on a hill... and once more with Order and Chaos.
Her gaze flicked to Commodore Lyndin, taking a measure of confidence at his calm demeanor. Rhysi's vocal vote made her give a small smile, and she nodded. "It will be. I'm... actually impressed at how things have gone," she added in a softer voice, watching the satellites escape from the storm to do their jobs. She took up a spot somewhat near Vyn and Caelyna, but perked up as she heard Aliez's question to the Commodore and leaned in slightly to that direction to listen in herself, while also keeping an eye on the storm above.
Her blaster was already on her hip, ready and waiting, she'd stretched and limbered up earlier, and even now turned her upper body this way and that to keep muscles warm. She wasn't overly cocky about the fight... but she was at least as ready as she could be, in her book.

Hierapolis, Squire of CybeleThere was a sense of helplessness about it all - having done what they could so far, and yet at the same time not knowing really what they could do further, except be here and reply on the mercy of the power of hope. And the tall Squire of Cybele might had had less hope if he didn't have as much of a future to look forwards to as he did - a future that stood close beside him with an uncharacteristically grim and serious look on her face. Wedding planning had been set aside once the gravity of the situation had been made more clear - because what use was a wedding if the world was to end tonight? So though perhaps selfish, wanting to fight for the world's continued existence so that they could have their future was a big part of what brought them here. Hierapolis placed a comforting hand on Steins shoulder and held her close as the Eternal Senshi nestled close to his side. Usually it was Steins who offered the comfort, optimism, and levity, but this time it was Hierapolis' quiet and gentle presence that leant her a breath of courage. Steins, Eternal Senshi of PatchworkSteins liked to pretend that all this was just some fantasy, some LARP, some big silly game and that the stakes weren't as real and serious as they were. Seeing everyone gathered here though, it brought everything to reality. No, that wasn't quite true - over the past few weeks as the situation's dire nature was made more and more apparent, it had sobered up the bubbly little pixie of a senshi. Although she was not someone who spent too much time thinking about the future and just floated along in life, there were things she wasn't ready to give up on, and the tangible threat of non-existence had made that very apparent. Granted, there would be no regret or anything if the world were to just be erased in an instant, she didn't like thinking about it. Steins squeezed the comforting hand on her shoulder and leaned her head into her fiance's side. If hope was enough to save them, then...then surely there was no way they would fail..... ...Right? Harmonia, Eternal Senshi of Harmony The message flashed across the screen of her senshi phone. Harmonia stared at it for a minute. She had no idea who it had come from, but things were obviously escalating. So, the eternal turned herself from heading home and istead hurried off in the direction of requested.
When she arrived she was surprised to see so many other people already. Apparently it had been a large scale call out and people were responding in kind. It was near impossible to see who was here and who wasn’t what with the crowding of people on the hill and her being on the shorter side.
There was an air of anxiety and anticipation in the air and Harmonia was attuned to the fact that there was a lot of unease with the whole situation. It didn’t help that the sky for the past month had kept reminding them that they were, in fact, facing a world calamity.
With her own anxiety rising, Har continued to look around for any familiar faces.Quote: Harmonia is open for interaction

Danube, page of CybeleDanube instinctively sought out Cybele or Siegfried as soon as she got to the gathering place, but hadn’t seen them yet. Granted, she didn’t know if they or any of the other Cybele knights were even there. Rubbing the back of her neck, she tilted her head until she heard a crackle in her inner ears. She’d been up half the night working on a new portfolio piece and hadn’t really been prepared to be dragged out to god knows where on the outskirts of the city. But she was here now, and that was the important thing. Unfortunately, so too it seemed were the forces of Chaos and the Negaverse. Everyone seemed to be employing a truce, however, and Danube decided it wouldn’t do her any good to disrupt that. So she kept her arms and legs inside the proverbial ride as she walked around, looking. She could swat her arrow at the snake in the sky, she guessed, if it came down to it? But if it could shoot lightning at them, she was ********. Quote: any of the other Cybele knights (plus other people ofc) are welcome to interact with Danube!

Eternal Sailor CybeleShe could feel it in her skin. There was the physical aspect, of course, as the lightning was stronger than she’d ever seen it, strong enough to make every hair on her body stand on end. There was more to it than that, though. This was it. A last stand against something greater than anything she’d faced before. She told herself that she didn’t fear death, but that wasn’t quite true. She’d tasted death once before, at the end of Faustite’s blade. And in that moment, she had realized how much she had come to love life, how little she was ready for it to end. And this was going to be a conflict that went much farther than preserving her own life, or even the lives of a few of her loved ones. Everything was at stake. Maybe she was afraid. And yet, in some ways, it felt like it had been too long since she had faced real danger. Maybe that was why people said that she didn’t fear death. Stepping up to face mortality like this, feeling the lightning deep in her bones? These were the moments that she felt the most alive. She arrived with Siegfried, of course. Her eyes were on the sky. “This is the part I never like,” she told him. “The waiting.” But there was already something of a role to be played here. She could see a few sets of eyes light on her as she took to the field. Cybele knights. She looked back at Celadon and Danube in turn, then waved them over. Whatever this was, might as well face it together.

Hy-Brasil, Transcended Knight of Earth Finally. The supposed possible world ender was making its debut. Having the city feeling like it was being crushed under the impending weight of the future was exhausting for so many reasons. Hy-Brasil wasted no time in responding to whomever had sent out the message and she was not surprised one iota by the gathering of people.
It was a surreal scene. Order, Chaos, and everyone else unaligned standing on a green hill with the blinking of satellites and the purple haze of a shield in the back ground. Meanwhile the sky threatened them form above in a scene that was a new one for the city. Hy let herself take it in for a minute or so, before training her eyes to scan the surrounding faces.
She purposely avoided any large groupings of negaverse agents. Relying on the threat of impending doom wasn’t enough for her to feel comfortable enough to trust that the negaverse may not attack. Especially any that may hold vendette’s.
As she mingled around, her eyes were drawn to one of the more brighter figures in the sea of colors. the yellow and blue Deep Space Senshi stood out like a sore thumb once one noticed her. And, while she and Grieve may not have a ‘friendship’ the alien was a familiar face and a competent one at that. So, the Knight hastened her way over, making sure not to get too close with how messily the woman was devouring the questionable meat on her skewer.
“Honestly, a part of me is a bit surprised to see you here, Grieve. I wasn’t sure if defending Earth would really be your style.” Hy summoned her staff as she took up a spot near the other senshi. Her weight shifted, giving the staff some of it as the faint smell of sandalwood began to drift from her incense burner.

Nectaris, Knight of the MoonWere they all gonna die? Maybe. That was a possibility here, she was pretty sure. It was a possibility here that she didn’t love. But, like, stepping out to go look at the sky and seeing all the lights, and even floating orbs of lightning? She couldn’t help but think that there was something kind of cool about this. Like, it was pretty! It was something out of a movie even more than the regular magic stuff was. She did hope that they could keep the world from getting eaten, though. She felt like she was so close to like, getting Order to work together. Things were happening with Cryolite, too. She didn’t want everything to get destroyed! She was going to do everything that she could to stop it. Like, even if that made the sky go back to being boring. Most of her family was scattered across the field. Nectaris herself had ended up next to Emain Ablach, though Which, to be honest she pretty much thought of him and his husbands as family too as this point. Emain Ablach was, uh, was he quoting scripture? It sure sounded like it. “You think it’s that serpent?” She asked him, glancing around. She wasn’t sure. She didn’t see any apples, and she didn’t see any demons either. Mostly just lightning. Then again, he knew more about this stuff than her. “Don’t answer that,” she said. It didn’t quite matter in the moment. “We can get all theoretical about it later. Right now we have to like, trap it or kill it I guess, right?” She blinked as she saw a familiar face in the crowd. Cryolite. Her heart skipped a beat.

Pendour, Knight of NeptuneShe wasn’t sure that she wanted to watch. There were patterns here that she recognized. Danger, of course. It was hard to miss the way the sky had come alive like something awful- like the worst parts of Encke’s magic, but magnified a thousandfold. And there was something else, too. There was the response to the danger. She could feel that, too, as she made her way over to where they had been directed to meet. Auras, a nearly smothering amount of all kinds of them. This was what happened when these great threats came up, she had found. People were willing to put aside their differences when something like this came up. They were able to put aside their differences in order to try to focus their own awful destruction on an outside target. She didn’t know which would win, between the destruction of a being of pure hunger from the edges of the galaxy, or the destructive nature of humanity. She wasn’t sure she wanted to watch the fallout. But on the other hand, with the lives of so many of her loved ones hanging in the balance, she didn’t know that she could look away. Her hand was in Abzu’s. She wasn’t letting him go, as she looked over the group of people in front of her. There were some others around them, including a new alien senshi that he’d brought into his house, but she wasn’t quite looking at any of them. “I don’t quite remember,” she murmured, her voice a bit softer than usual, the kind of softness that meant she was frightened. “Were you there, the last time everyone was all in one place like this? When the Velencyans first came, and Lyndin turned against Caedus, and-“ with her free hand, she ran her fingers over her other forearm, where the pockmark scars still showed against her tanned skin as the evidence of that night. “This,” she whispered. “This is going to be worse, I think.”

Corrupt Sailor IndustriaHere it was. The culmination of her first efforts as a Senshi, the result of finding herself brought into this world as its end approached. Truth be told, Industria was glad to know the truth, to not be toiling away in ignorance on her college efforts and daydreaming about finishing the semester when there might not be a summer to look forward to.
But she was not ignorant. No, instead, she was here, and she wove through the crowd until she found Cryptomelane and Ympe, all too easy to spot when she was looking. Or perhaps that was just her affection for both of them shining through.
She reached out, gently resting a hand on Cryptomelane's arm.
"Here we are," she said, voice soft. "And it seems we've brought our best." she recognized Jet, and felt the flare of other General-Sovereigns, a comforting darkness that shaded the battlefield. "We will prevail. We must."
There was no other choice.

Knight Halle of LysitheaAction: arriving with Lisse, Almere, and Mechelen Finally. The message had been met with a single moment of profound relief; followed by a tension that doubled and tripled in its wake. The were no more time for planning or preparation beyond contacting his family and Tilly to make sure they would all be there. All of them together this time. And moving toward those coordinates, and the blazing aura of Chaos winding through it, Halle had never been so glad to have family and allies by his side. He caught site of Santa Maria Novella right away, knowing to look on the fringes of the gathering rather than the center of things. As the neared the squire, Halle paused and turned to the other three and after a moment, hugged his brother, Lisse. Then gave a crushing bearhug to Almere. Then fumbled a sort of hug with Mechelen because he forgot how hugs worked and the way in which arms did things. He didn't apologize for all the things he probably should be apologizing for, for the mistakes he'd made in the past year. Honestly he might never. But he did try to make one thing clear, "I um. I'm going to help protect you guys. Because you're all strong enough to be here, and we're here to support one another. Not because I think you're weak, okay? But because we're a team." And then, muttered quickly, "And I love you."Looking over at Santa Maria, Halle smiled despite the dire situation, "It's good to see you made it." He didn't say he was proud of the other boy, but it was writ clear across Halle's face. "This is Lisse, my brother. Almere my cousin. And Mechelen my uh... Mechelen. Everybody this is Santa Maria Novella of Ganymede."

Corrupt Mauvian Desiree (Cat form for now) Staying close to Chalcanthite for now, she knew better than to run into the thick of it, knowing that the transcended senshi that zapped her might be here. She'd done the work that she could on helping with the shield, but there was always the chance for things to go south without proper testing. There just hadn't been time for that, and she was still skeptical of the merchant after hearing about the trouble they seemed to get themself into. Thumping her tail against the obviously stressed man, she kept an eye out for any of her senshi. There were a few to keep tabs on from the negaverse, ones she had less to worry about compared to the one she'd assisted in bringing into the dark mirror court. It was nothing against the court, as she'd found she'd quite liked Irenaea, but Hedwig was a pity case if anyone asked her. "He'll stay safe; you know he's not an idiot. You can't just keep him home and away from things." Looking up at Chalcanthite, she knew how he'd tried to keep Liam home and away from all this and how tense things had become since this had all started.

Stromboli, squire of Uranus, Super Sailor Ran of Games, and Sailor Onasilos of the SelfStromboli had found Ran, Encke’s apprentice of sorts, in the crowd as soon as he got there, and now he was looking for Basiluzzo–who he knew was there because he’d gotten Safira’s complaint when Basiluzzo left without her. Finding Abzu had been easy enough. He was with Pendour, who was tall, as well as a new person entirely, who was also very tall. Or, at least, much taller than Abzu was. A couple inches shorter than Stromboli, if he had to guess. Anyway, it wasn’t important. “Think we’re ready for this?” was his question to the others as he approached with Ran in tow. It was more rhetorical than anything. Of course they weren’t ready. How could they be? What could they possibly have against the amount of lightning coming down at them, aside from sheer numbers? Maybe sheer numbers would help them win the day. Stromboli prayed he wasn’t about to make Safira a widow. She would never forgive him. Pendour had Abzu’s hand, so Stromboli rested a hand on Abzu’s shoulder and gave Pendour a strained smile in greeting before turning his head to the tailed senshi standing there with Abzu. “Stromboli, Uranus squire. What’s your name?” “Onasilos.” Onasilos turned his attention to the self-identified Uranus squire, the ‘s’s in his name hissing a little bit. “I have just met Abzu yesterday. I am living in his house for the time being.” He turned his black-and-gold eyes to Pendour. “Forgive me for not introducing myself.” Then, his gaze slid past Stromboli to the person standing behind him. Young, male, a puff of dark brown hair surrounding his face. “Who is this?” “Oh! This is Ran. He’s one of Encke’s, but I found him first.” Ran inclined his head in greeting and gave a small wave. “Have any of you seen Encke or Basiluzzo yet?”

Sailor Portia DSS of CryptographyA glare was all the phone earned before she smashed it and headed out towards whatever was going to happen. Portia had warned the poor woman who brought her books, trying to explain that the weather was going to be bad and that she should stay home. It was the only thing she could really think to say, she wasn't sure the woman would understand the rest as it didn't even seem like they were aware she wasn't human. It made her wonder how she got around so well with an obvious vision problem, but she assumed maybe that it had been a gradual thing and muscle memory or a memory of the area helped the woman move around the city. She had a name this time and had given her title in return; it sounded enough like a human name, apparently. Close enough to something called a car brand? But it was fine as the woman, who she now knew was called Desiree, was going to stay home and tell the person who helped watch over her about things. Staring up at the sky, as it felt oppressive in a way she thought she'd never have to feel again, she almost dared it to try. Whatever the others in this giant disorganized group of humans and other outsiders were going to do was their own responsibility; she would do what she could because, at the end of the day, this place was better than that library that refused to be burned down.

Mauvian Illyria - (cat form for now) Where else would Illyria be in this type of possible world-ending scenario then trailing after her bonded partner? Ever since she had shaken off the general feeling of malaise that had afflicted her after visiting the Chamber of Prayer on the Moon had Illyria decided that if the Earth was doomed than she'd go all out in trying to defend not only Ida, but everyone else that called this wonderful planet home. Her fur had been neatly groomed before she had departed the apartment but even as she trotted after Ida did her gaze swing left and right. The sense of so many members of chaos on the field caused her hackles to rise.
This called to mind another hilltop clearing battle and Illyria's ears flicked back and forth. For now it appeared if those of the Negaverse were holding to the idea of a truce to work together to defeat the threat that Earth was facing. It still didn't stop her from muttering under her breath.
"Bad day. Bad bad bad bad."

Tikal, squire of GanymedeThere were so many people that Tikal wondered if she really could have stayed home to continue her work rather than be interrupted to join this party. Surely they wouldn’t have missed one Ganymede squire. But alas, she found herself among the masses anyway, and she felt like leaving down would be too obvious. Besides, she was putting a lot of hope in the possibility that this many people would be enough to take down something that could call down the type of lightning that she was seeing. She had been too busy to help much over the past days and weeks, but had been voraciously reading the database entries coming in when she had the time. Nothing she had read gave her any indications that this was going to be easy or even necessarily go well for them. Monsters didn’t get the kind of titles she’d seen by showing up, shaking everyone’s hand, and then politely leaving, after all. “Eater of Worlds” did not summon the image of a tasteful nibble on a remote mountaintop somewhere. Of course, knowing their luck, that remote mountaintop would be someone’s wonder. So perhaps it was all a wash, anyway. Quote: Tikal is open for interaction!
