How about a "Looking For..." thread? Where, like, people can post what they want and other people can suggest where they can get it.
LIke, say Gavin wants a picture of his OC, and he wants it to be in CG, so he posts in the Looking FOr thread, "I'm looking for a CG commission of my OC, under $30. Not just a bust-shot, though. Any recommendations?" And, like, Dante posts "Oh, SHirotsuki!" and Tatiana says "Enerjak!". etc.
I love giving odd names to my examples.

That's a really good idea specially since a lot of people have been doing that in the chatterbox thread ^^
Sorry I've been absent and haven't had a chance to talk to Raesha. I'm just getting over a fever @_@
Edit: I keep saying "that's a really good idea!" and I'm sorry if it comes off weird and condescending what I mean is "wheeeeeeee! fun/good ideas!"
And if I'm just being paranoid and it comes off as nothing of the sort. I'm sorry ;-; the NyQuil does weird things to my brain!

Ello.I'm new here sweatdrop ...but i was wondering if there was a place for "newbies" to post? I can be pretty ditsy sometimes but i didnt see one and i kinda felt funny posting when I'm still waiting for approval to join ^_^;

I know people are busy (this is the one day of my current universe in which I'm not), so I hope this doesn't come off as being pushy and/or irritating.

Nope, nope. Not yet! I haven't been on yahoo lately (cause of prom and my fever-tastic aftermath and the catching up I've had to do) to talk to Rae about what she thinks and if she'd like me to start some of the things you guys suggested (this is, afterall, her guild and I don't want to be stepping over her toes and all).
But I'm sure there will be more of an effort to make this guild active soon ^^

I'm glad I didn't miss any changes, I'm forgetful when it comes to checking up on guilds sweatdrop I wish there was a way to subscribe to guild threads.
The Looking For thread sounds like a good idea. Especially since a lot of people are looking for specific art.

Alright, Raesha and I pretty much went over the entire thread tonight and most of the ideas require waaay too much time and energy for the amount of people who are actually active in the guild.
Sooo, the subforum will have to hold off until a lot more people start coming around actively.
And we're going to have a post later this week to work the kinks out of the Sponsering an Artist idea. When that thread gets up please leave some input!
The Wanted thread is up! Yay for one suggestion being used so far ^^
We can still do events and promotional stuff! After Anime Expo (the first few days of July), I'm going to (try to) start planning a large OGAWG event. Whiiich...I will need a lot of help on so if you feel so inclined, drop me a pm or message me on AIM (I'm usually there even if I have an away message up).
Annnd that's all I've got right now. Keep coming up with more ideas(things that will last) but keep in mind that there are at most 10 (and that is really at most...) active members of this guild. I know a lot of us are lurkers (Raesha and I included!) but we try not to bite! So post, have fun, get to know eachother! I looked at the member list a lot when I was updating ranks and I didn't recognize a lot of those names and I spend 95% of my time on Gaia in this guild.

It's not a question of taking care of it, it's more of whether or not it's worth the effort to even bother with it as there aren't very many active guild members.
If you want the subforum than poke any one in the guild who's your friend into posting more! It's not a definite no, it's just no until more people start to come around.
