Squire Imbrium of Castor

She didn't intend to answer the summons. She didn't want to. The aliens were making a bad decision, and she would not be part of it. She couldn't.

That's what Imbrium told herself the whole way to the location where Caedus had said they were; she remembered. And she didn't like it at all, but if there were people there who wanted to fight Chaos... well. She might as well join in. Hopefully most of the energy had been willingly obtained, though as Imbrium looked at the aliens in the area she had to wonder which of them was she one she had punched in the face. Oh, she'd do it again, for kimchee, but she still felt kind of bad about it. It had been dangerous, though, and the little weirdo hadn't even been paying attention to the people they could have harmed.

So why was she here, again? All the others had supported this cause, it felt like- until she observed a senshi yelling something she couldn't quite make out at one of the Really Tall Ones. Good on them. At least not everyone here was sheep. But it seemed they were all willing to punch the Negaverse in the face... and that was something Imbrium could get behind.

Valhalla, Transcended Knight of Jupiter

“Valhalla,” he offered his name with a kind smile. There were some that he recognized, and some that he didn’t. Over the years there had been so many faces that it was sometimes hard to keep up with.

He was worried about what Caedus shared with them. Valhalla had no idea that they’d intended on calling the Negaverse there. What was going to stop them from calling for backup? He trusted that Caedus had the best intentions. And he had confidence that Lyndin wouldn’t risk his own people to the Negaverse, but that didn’t make him any less anxious about it.

Cybele was right. They were fast, and they did teleport. They would need a way to keep things from getting out of hand.

He glanced down at Ganymede, his hand brushing against the ruffles of her gown, and hoping that she could sense his support, even if he didn't say anything to interrupt her.

“If they’re in pain from whatever happens, we’ll be here to comfort them and help them rebuild their new lives, without Metallia’s control,” Valhalla tried to gently reassure Cybele. He didn’t want her to think that he was dismissing her concerns, because he wasn’t. But if they didn’t do something to stop Metallia, things would only get worse.

Paradise, Page of Cosmos

Somehow it didn’t seem like a good idea that they would be calling Negaverse officers there. But with so many of them, they would surely be able to easily take names and kick a**.

“Of course!” she smiled brightly up at Empyrean, even though she was already trying to decide who was going to be the best to watch fight, if it came down to that. Ganymede and Cybele, of course. And Anser, if she was around. Although, it was a Monday night, so maybe she would be in bed already for school the next day.

“Oh we’re going to need to bring a cake over to Michael tomorrow. Did he ever tell you what he wanted for his birthday? No, of course he didn’t,” she sighed about her oldest son. She was fairly certain he was the Knight with Oberon, but their youngest son decided he wanted to keep his mouth shut on the subject.

Chibi Super Charybdis

Jada had told her to stay home. Jada has impressed upon Charybdis that tonight was going to be dangerous, and that people were going to get hurt. There would be violence, and it could be just like the night she had gone to help Caer Sidi, but worse. Tonight, she had said, they were going to fight the Negaverse, and she wanted Giulia to stay and protect Aidan and Hope for her. That was all well and good, and Giulia had smiled, nodding her head.

Jada was out the door, now, and Aidan stuck his head out of his bedroom. "You're going, right?" he asked.

"Duh." Giulia shot back, going into her room and rooting around for her henshin pen. "Don't care if she is raising us, she's not my mom. She's my sister." Giulia rolled her eyes at her twin. "I'm stealing your rollerblades. I don't want her to sense me following her, so I need to stay powered down as long as I can."

"You think she's texted the brothers?"

"Nah." Giulia didn't know if Aidan realized they were senshi too, but they'd be needed, if something went wrong. "She wouldn't want to explain this one. Okay. I'm off, and I'll bring her home safe and sound. You take care of Hope, and call Lucas if anything happens, he's not on rotation tonight but Zora's got a Monday night Raid, and you know she'll be pissed."

She had managed to safely evade Scylla's sister-senses, thanks to rollerblades and well-timed henshin powers, and now she lurked in the crowd, watching. Observing. Waiting for the right time to be like SURPRISE! Would she br grounded for this? Oh, most definitely. Probably until she was 40. By Jada, by Elzo, by her half-brothers, by her niece, by like... everyone? Except Ara- Giulia could see the other chibi talking to Scylla.

Hunching down, she slipped through the crowd, peering at the alien objects, and the alien people. Neat. Now, all she had to do was wait, and be ready to help.

Læraðr, Page of Neptune

Læraðr really, really didn't like any of what was going on with the aliens. None of it felt right. He could sympathize with wanting their planet back and everything, but the way they were trying to restore it and banish Chaos didn't sit well. All of this felt like he was — that they all were — working with just a different kind of Chaos energy to destroy all of Chaos. And you couldn't fight fire with fire. It always made things worse. Yet, their leaders were going for it, and honestly, what could they even do against the aliens, anyway? So here he was. At least if something bad happened, he'd be there to help. If he didn't die. He hoped he didn't die.

He came up on Hyperborea, Caer Sidi, and Delphi, smiling with ease. "Hey guys. Ready for some serious s**t to happen?" he joked. It was easier to deal with, that way.

Sailor Hati

Hati nodded, watching everything going on with a small frown on his face. Something about this felt seriously off to him, but he wasn't sure what, exactly, and he couldn't plan anything while in the complete dark. The aliens thing had apparently been happening for a hot minute, but he hadn't noticed, too busy with his own life, and he cursed himself for it. Maybe he'd have an idea, a better idea, of what was going on if he'd been here from the start to pay attention.

Oh well, nothing to do about it now. No use crying over spilled milk and all that.

"We're going to have a big fight, that much I can feel," he said softly, "If this thing works and it burns the Chaos from all those people... If they know what happened afterwards, they're not going to be happy."

Amsvartnir, Squire of Cosmos

Okay, so purifying had definitely been the right decision, as far as Amsvartnir could tell, anyway. He no longer felt trapped, helpless, and sick, like he did in the Negaverse.

However... finding out that there were actual aliens and not just reincarnated-as-humans aliens over on the Order side had kind of been a bit of whiplash. And he wasn't quite sure how to feel about that. He had shown up, feeling... something going on when he sensed all the Order auras in the area and then disappearing. And now he was surrounded by them, and incredibly nervous, having been on the bad side not all that long ago. (Had it really only been a week?) He wandered a bit until he saw a familiar face and raised his eyebrows, walking over to Charybdis.

"Hey, squirt. Still out fighting against your mom's wishes, I see?" he said as he walked up, grinning and wondering if she would recognize him somehow.

Eternal Ida

She’d arrived late… the summons had arrived while she was still on shift at the hospital and only begging off early had gotten her here when it had. Ida had transformed and run to get across the city as fast as she could… afraid she’d arrive too late and miss what was happening.

Too much of what the aliens had planned gnawed at her, making her second guess and worry. She had to be there… in case it worked, and everything they had been fighting for all these years was finally achieved. In case it failed and the protectors of Earth needed to step in and mop up the aftermath. She was no stranger to that. They might need her skills.

The senshi could only hope that it didn’t fail too catastrophically… or that this was some great con, waiting for the right moment to turn on all of the people who had trusted them. It left her in a pessimistic mood when she arrived to the great crowd of people, pacing around the outside edge of the gathering looking for anyone she might know.

Cadet Caelyna

Caelyna listened eagerly as Caedus explained their plan. She liked him, of course--moreso since she'd gotten to know him, but she'd already enjoyed his presence. And he was so sure, so confident, and she had to be too. She believed, completely, that the plan would go off without a hitch.

They would liberate the Earth from the Negaverse. She would keep her promise to Gelria. There would....there would maybe be more nice dinners, if they stayed a little while before they all went home.

Caelyna hoped they stayed a while before they all went home.

There would be a few officers coming, it seemed, but she had absolute faith in their ability to handle it. After all, Velyria had been part of this plan--and she had absolute faith in her big sister to plan for every eventuality in an event like this.

Transcendent Eternal Sailor Kerberos

Ganymede. That was the Princess's name--he would have to remember. And Valhalla, the Knight at her side. Both of them, Kerberos expected, had quite a bit of experience. That was good, and he was glad to have them here.

The revelation that they intended to call the Negaverse made Kaerberos frown with worry, but he glanced out over the assembled group--a Princess, a good number of Knights and Eternals, and plenty of others--and he exhaled. Hopefully this would be enough. Hopefully this little group would only be a small distraction, a tuning fork to keep things correct.

Cybele, if he had to guess, sounded like she knew very well what purification was like, and Kerberos put a hand to his chest, remembering the pain of Chaos burning out of him.

"I think," he said, directly to Cybele, "that you're not wrong to worry. But that's why there are so many of us, I think--and Caedus did say it wouldn't be all of them. Just some. Not saying this isn't a risky plan," he definitely didn't want to give that impression, "but I think--I hope--there's enough of us here that we should be able to handle it."

Caer Sidi, Squire of Cosmos

Delphi and Læraðr had joined them, and their presence bouyed Caer Sidi's spirits a bit. Not that she was entirely worried, but the thought of another massive battle with the Negaverse so close to her own near-corruption made her wince.

At least this time she wasn't going into it alone, and there wouldn't be any panicked calls for backup, and...and hopefully...

And hopefully there wouldn't be another dead Page.

She swallowed, but gave Delphi a nod.

"If this all ends tonight, I'll be glad to have escaped the worst of it," she said. "Too much blood has already been shed for this war. I...know that this is a very risky plan, and I don't like that we're inviting the Negaverse to our door, but truth be told, if it saves even one more person...I think that's enough."

Læraðr got a quiet laugh.

"Oh, always. It's always serious s**t when we show up in a big group."

Super Sailor Asmodeus

Asmodeus couldn't help but grin. Oh, they were inviting some of the Negaverse, were they? Good, she hoped she got a chance to fight a few of them before everything went all ******** and the weapon got activated.

"See, now they're talking in ways that make this sound fun," she said. "And, anyway, anything that wipes the stain that is the Negaverse off the face of the Earth is good with me." She still remembered that awful future, and remembered the feeling of Metallia's chaos sinking into her bones because, in the end, she'd been a coward. She'd surrendered. Not this time. "Like, look, it's not gonna be perfect? And I guarantee you some of them are still gonna be shitty people? But they'll be shitty people who can't rip other people's souls out of their bodies, which I think is a solid step up."

Sailor Guinevere

"Hah," Guinevere snorted, "I missed the first one, so I guess of we get that, I'll have the chance to play this time." Her eyes drifted over toth e weapon at the center of all this, the thing that was meant to put the Negaverse to rest once and for all.

They meant to call some of them here. That thought made her frown. A risky endeavor, to bring some of them here, since some might call others--but if the weapon worked as advertised, then it probably wouldn't matter. There'd be a spectacular light show, and boom.

No more Negaverse.

"Ugh, I hope it doesn't blow--and I hope they're right about only getting a few officers here."

She glanced over at Arthuradel, and smiled wryly. "It's true. But hey--it's about time the Rebel Alliance got some real firepower."

Arthuradel was right, in the way kids were often right; this would almost certainly turn into a fight.

"At least we're all together. We should stick close in case things get hairy."

Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn

Aokigahara put a hand on Yomi's shoulder. His expression was pensive, and he was focused on Lyndin and Caedus, but he didn't have words for them just yet; he would have to wait and see. Certainly others were gathering closer, but that was not what he wanted to do.

A thousand years ago, Rin had been an inquisitor, and he undoubtedly would have pushed in to ask a hundred questions. But Taiki was not Rin, not entirely, and he was fairly certain this was not the time to question, but to watch.

"Stay close," he said, voice low. "I suspect that even if they only mean to lure a few officers here, others may follow, and it would be unideal to lose track of each other in a fight."

Eternal Sailor Lepus

Some people might have disagreed with involving chibi senshi in fights, but Lepus wasn't one of them.

For one, up until the beginning of the year, she'd been a chibi senshi, albeit one in her last year of high school. For another? Personally, she was all for chibi senshi being just as capable of fighting as their older counterparts. Y'know, equal rights and all. Sure, if they didn't want to fight, she wasn't gonna like, force them to join in the fray, but otherwise? Go nuts, go wild! She'd be right there, cheering them on.

When the message to gather and prepare for battle had gone out, Lepus had been all for heading right for the base camp, to get in on the action. As she had been 'mentoring' Aomori, and had been wanting to show her apprentice the aliens she had been mentioning, Lepus had taken the green haired girl with her, not realizing she had grabbed Hokkaido, aka, the wrong twin. Oops? Though, she had yet to really realize it...

Approaching the gathering of powered individuals already present, Lepus became distracted, scanning the crowd for familiar faces, while Hokkaido tried to slip away from the older girl. The Leporis twins didn't seem to be here, at least not yet, assuming they were going to heed the summons as well, but there were a couple familiar folk in the crowd, including a familiar chibi that she hadn't spoken to recently (though her cat companion had). Well, that was a start, at least! Forgetting momentarily about the poor green-haired chibi senshi she had dragged with her to this place, Lepus made her way over to Charybdis, intent on making her presence known to the chibi senshi of seals, so that perhaps they could chat a bit before things started amping up.

"Heyyyyy, Charybdis!" she greeted, waving to the chibi who was just about the same height as she was now, if not taller.

Aogashima, Squire of Cosmos

Aogashima had only just come back from her Wonder only a couple of weeks ago, freshly upgraded and all.

In that time, she hadn't really had much of a chance to figure out what her upgraded weapon did, or what kind of magic she had, though it wasn't exactly as if she was looking for battles to get into. Actually, she had been setting up to stream when she had received the call on her signet ring, asking for assistance. Hakodate had probably received the call as well, but Aogashima wasn't about to ask and find out, as she slipped out of the house, avoiding her older sister's detection.

Arriving on site, she didn't spot her sister, which was a relief, but it was still probably a good idea to keep an eye out for anyone in Polaris colors suddenly showing up, just in case...

Transcended Eternal Scylla

There were more senshi and knights arriving, and the senshi of the Kraken found herself visibly relaxing, settling in and looking at those who would be standing against the Negaverse at her side- though, hopefully not a LOT of the Negaverse. "Hello Kerberos." she gave the other senshi a warm smile. "Long time no see. We should meet up sometime when we're not facing sudden but inevitable combat, don't you think?"

She reached out to touch Caedus briefly on the arm, passing a small stone into his hand- a rock he had given to her long ago. "You need to give this back to me after this is over, okay? There were a lot of shoulds in that speech of yours, and I have to admit- Cybele has a point. If this doesn't disrupt the connection we'll be facing a lot of pissed-off, teleporting Nega-bees." still, she cleared her throat, taking in the generators. And the machine.

Big machine and little machines must stay up. Stay inside the circle to be shielded. Message out to the whole negaverse and- we hope only a small number show up. If we can incapacitate those who arrive before they have a chance to call for backup we might be able to pull this off. Near one of the generators, Scylla could see Silvera, and she waggled her fingers at the friendly alien.

The arrival of Ara pulled Scylla from her musings, and the Eternal gave the other senshi a cheeky grin. "It is pretty exciting," she agreed, "And we're going to need to be ready when the Negas show. We need to help the Velencyans keep the machines up if this plan is going to work."

Ganymede, of course, didn't hesitate to point out the many flaws in the aliens' plans, setting a hand on Cybele's shoulder in a gesture of support, and Scylla found herself biting her lip, nodding in agreement. Before she could open her mouth, however, the arrival of Nephthys got Scylla's attention, and a delicate hand reached out to pat her friend on the shoulder. Biting her lip, she found herself looking around for anyone else who was a potential member of the team she wanted to form- the Thorns. While none of them had gotten a FULL meeting together yet, a nice big battle like this would be a great time to try and work together, wouldn't it?

"Long story short, they're going to call some of the Negaverse here, align to their energy. Then open a portal, connect to the comet, and try and make a crater out of Chaos Castle, hopefully taking out Metallia and breaking her connection to Chaos. All the while we need to keep the Negas who respond to their summons from calling in their General Sovereigns or other reinforcements, because if those generators go down we're both going to be swarming with Chaos-Transmitted-Diseases, and we'll be s**t-out-of-luck."

She smiled brightly, and it was probably only the humans who would understand just how stressed she was as she added, "But this is fine! Commodore. Lyndin. Has. Never. Failed. A. Mission."

Transcendent Eternal Encke

The message had come through Encke's phone and Basiluzzo's newly discovered signet ring almost in unison.

Basiluzzo almost immediately got up to go.

"Basi," Encke had said, had stressed, even as Basiluzzo whined in turn that he wasn't wearing the cast anymore, at least, and he was fairly sure that the people at the club were really digging the forearm scar, anyway--, "they said you need to be ready to fight. You need to stay here. If worse comes to worst," Encke's smile had been wry, "at least it'd just be one of us seriously injured then, right?"

Basiluzzo had opted to relent, and when Encke heard Caedus make his comment that they were literally summoning some of the Negaverse to their current position, he had found himself infinitely relieved that that had been the decision. The last thing Basiluzzo needed to do was break his arm even worse. Caedus was aware of his proposal, right? Encke trusted Caedus, trusted Caedus with his whole heart, and knew of the Velencians gathered, he likely best knew their enemy. But what guarantee did they have that this wouldn't lead to the entirety of the Negaverse descending on their position?

Much like Cybele had yelled--

Still, there had been no idea that was better.

Still, this idea had the best shot at working than any he had seen in a long time. A straight shot. A straight shot to Metallia. The power to give a straight shot to Metallia. Just ... hold off a few members of the Negaverse before they could call anyone else in and hopefully this would be over.

Okay.

He lifted a hand and offered a wave to Caedus, and then an encouraging, jovial smile and a thumbs-up.

They could do this.

Chibi Super Charybdis

Charybdis jumped about a foot in the air at an unfamiliar voice going hey, squirt, and she turned to stare at the Cosmos squire. Judgmental not-yet-teenaged eyes narrowed to thin blue streaks, before she said "You don't know if she said I could come or not!" He looked familiar, and it took her a moment to recognize that face. "Thorite????????? Did Bifrost like... hit you so hard you purified?" and then she grinned. "Or was it my dimples? Or Pup? You realized we were too awesome, and that we were the right place to be, right?"

Anything, just distract him from asking questions about if she had permission to be here!

Heyyyyy, Charybdis!

"SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Giulia bounced into the air again in a panic, looking to the older senshi who had arrived. "Lepus! You're so grown-up! Is Etoile with you? Oh no, I forgot candy. But also shhhhhhh, I don't want Scylla to know I'm around just yet. It's gonna be a surprise. So."

Pointing at the green-haired person trying to escape, Charybdis added- "You have a friend?"

Myrrha, Super Senshi of Scents

To put it lightly - Myrrha wasn't sure if attending the gathering was the smartest idea or not. However, out of an abundance of caution did the super senshi of scents approach the hilltop were the Velencians had assembled their machinery, that if worked correctly, would purge the Chaos from earth. In her own mind she couldn't fathom a place that chaos didn't exist. But to actually see more of these Velencians up close and personal had her inner paranormal geek self squealing in joy. It was no big secret that she loved everything paranormal so having a real-life alien encounter was the highlight of the night so far. In order not to be too obvious though about her inner fangirling Myrrha instead sought out a rather familiar face in the crowd who was standing near to Caedus and the one that he called Lyndin.

She also swore that she recognized to whom it was that Scylla was giving a rundown of the past few weeks to before she gave a finger wave to the kraken senshi. She was glad to see at least one familiar face. Instead of interrupting Scylla Myrrha glanced over to the machinery in question before glancing at the group that was obviously the Vanguard. Her interest was piqued at all the unknown technology but she would respect the personal effects of the Vanguard - they knew what they were doing ... or so she hoped. Instead she was curious about an aspect of the machine itself so she cleared her throat to get Lyndin's attention.
"Commodore, I am curious: what would happen if the machine were to fire before all the settings were calibrated? Would it have no effect, a partial effect or would something else happen? Has this machine been used before?"

Super Sailor Cybele

Cybele didn't want to argue with Valhalla. He meant every word he was saying. She knew that. After all, he'd been more than kind about helping her rebuild her own life outside of Metallia when Ganymede had brought her, desperate and newly-purified, home to his family.

It didn't change the fact that the immediate aftermath could be quite a mess.

Another senshi, (Kerberos), one that she did not seem to know, even by the tug of old memories, approached and tried to reassure her, as well. He wasn't wrong, either. It was true that there were likely enough people here to hold off whoever arrived for a bit.

Likely
. Cybele knew from experience that the Negaverse had three General-Sovereigns. Currently, this gathering had only one Princess. Of course there was the hope that they would not, in fact, show up at once, but Cybele found that difficult to believe when they could teleport and summon each other.

"I suppose there's not much to do at this point but hope for the best," she murmured, but she was not very good at that, and she continued to stand stiffly.

Silistra Page of Saturn Silistra was shocked that this was the plan she was expecting a battle she had not been expecting this. She didn't plan to run away from this even at the worst she was sure someone would get hurt and she wanted to help clean up the mess. She took a deep breath and held her ground she had no intention of going anywhere. She was really worried about this though, throwing this amount of energy around had to have serious results, she just didn't think they would be the results the order side wanted. Silistra looked around wondering how others felt about this situation. She held her lamp close to her chest feeling really nervous about this.
