Kuro was pleasantly surprised when Aya had little in the way of aggression in response to his collision with her. She had every right to hate his entire existence; the two of them shared a rather extensive history after all. The boy did not deny that. Up until now, their interactions had mostly consisted of her acting rather coldly, as well as petty and childish. The fox-boy would have to learn to accept the few wins that were made available to him. Kuro had no delusions of mending their broken relationship, though admittedly it would have been comforting to envision such a future; here was a toast to unforeseen circumstances working in his favor following the natural ebb-and-flow of progress. Kuro was forced to stifle a laugh while watching Aya gag at the presence of the beastly human who presented himself. Mind you, he did not find it actually funny; however it was amusing to watch her being so vocal about her distaste. He honestly did not expect that kind of behavior: from her particularly. She had certainly grown and changed ever since leaving the tribe, despite the overwhelming nostalgia that it had only just been recently. “Lovely indeed,” Kuro mused quietly to himself.
His favorite part of the night would probably be watching Ocho. Kuro could hardly contain himself with the boy’s eccentric little display. Ocho’s vocal description was exactly what Kuro would have imagined the inner monologue of the ghastly looking creature in front of them to look like. “I would hate for her to leave disappointed. I could show her a real beast in the sheets if she would like,” Kuro grinned mischievously his eyes glowing like the apex predator that he was. His face was more cruel than playful with his canines both fully visible to their eyes. Just moments later, a guard would move forward brashly hitting Mira in the back with a weapon at the behest of the hideous would-be overlord of this organization. That was when things began to escalate too far even for Kuro’s tastes. Tsk, who the ******** did this guy think he was bullying Mira like that? Sure, Kuro sometimes treated her inhumanely for sport… but that was his prerogative as royalty, as well as being her teammate. This human trash would dare to treat her with such… disgust? This physically sub-par, lowly human rubbish who had obviously not looked in a mirror recently; if anything, he was the most repulsive object in this room.
Aya was the first to make a move – it was amazing how aggressive and forward she had gotten in her formative years. There was a lot to unpack with how quickly she moved forward trying to control the situation as best she could. Kuro raised both of his arms submissively into the air while still locked firmly within the wrist restraints, “Do not shoot! I will not attack.” I know, I know. It all seemed rather suspicious given his extravagant talk earlier regarding Aphrodite and her womanly wile. What were they supposed to do? Were they going to shoot the merchandise who made no attempt at escape or assault? Kuro would be sure to take advantage of anyone who let down their guard around him. With a burst of concentrated aura to his wrists, Kuro would throw around the body closest to him. Fools for taking his words to heart and trusting his intentions, the boy would follow after Mira approaching her from the back. “Are you okay,” he asked nonchalantly turning his back to her. He was far from expecting a normal, non-temperamental response from his teammate; though it would not stop him from asking either way. Covering her a**, Kuro worried about what the fallback of their actions might be? Regardless, this would put all of their training and skills to the test. Of course, this would be the situation in the group to which he had been assigned. Exhausting, honestly.“Do you think Ocho will ever stop being so preposterous,” Kuro asked referring to Ocho asking for volunteers to be slapped. It was his own way of attempting to lighten the mood a bit before taking on what would seem to be one hell of a fight.

Periwinkle would see that no one was around. With that, they would use the pier to get onto the boat. She would look around. It seemed as if someone had started making a bomb, but didn't finish...hmmm, interesting. She would look. It was even made to be recent. "Grimsley, please be the look out, I'm going to complete this. The distraction from the main building will likely help us." Periwinkle would then take a pack from her side, There were all kinds of tools in it. For her though, she needed a box cutter, a wire stripper, electrical tape, and a length of extra wire that was in the tool kit. She would then go to the hold, and seemingly cut a box. She seemed to get a long peice, one from each side of a long box. She would then find some thin metal sheet. She then had another box. All three were cut to be the same length. One of the boxes had the middle cut our of it, leaving about an inch of the edge around.
Periwinkle would then go out with her three peices and the tape. She would take the wires, and then put them together, trying them off to be one rope. She would use a connector to make them all go to one wire. She would then connect them all to the wire. She would take a piece of her ignition dust, and put it in the connector. She would then tape the metal to each side of the solid cardboard. Then, she would place the wire between the one without a middle, making the wire go more towards the middle. Once that was set up, she would then place the part that had the wires taped to the middle on the ground, hear the pier. She would then carefully tape the other solid piece to the rest of it. She would then back away from it.
"Ok, if I've done this right, that's a pressure plate. If someone steps on it, it should set off the bomb..." She would then look up. They were closer than she thought. "Ok, we are going to need to jump off the side. Try not to splash too much...." Periwinkle hated this, she was going to get wet. Thankfully she also had fire dust should it not work. She would go over to the side of the ship, and lower herself into the water. Trying to make the least amount of noise at the coldness hit her. She would then swim to shore. If they made it to shore alright, she would hand Grimsley a small piece of red dust. She would calculate how he would need to throw it in case things didn't go according to plan. "Throw this when they get on board. If you throw it from here...Like....this, then you should set it on fire."

Grimsly would follow Lux’s lead, she seemed like she had a plan in mind which was a joy to watch, he would look at what Lux said was a bomb and get a little suspicious about it “don’t you think it’s a little… weird for this to be here out in the open?” he would ask a little worried but now was not the time for that “yea, I’ll let you know If anyone is coming or if something goes wrong” he said as he walked towards a higher ground as quietly as possible yet still close enough to Lux so she could see he is ok, he would stand and look around at everything around him and observe. Once Lux was finally done she informed him they need to jump off, Grimsly nodded his head as he carefully jumped down from his high ground, trying to make as little noise as he could before, he would then walk over next to the pressure plate and put down his little breadstick bag next to it, hoping their curiosity would lead them to the pressure plate. Grimsly would then walk to where jumped down to the water and do the same, he followed her movements until the two finally got to the shore, once there he would get a small piece of red dust from Lux if anything goes wrong “got it, but for now, we should walk a bit further from the ship, if we stay here we may get noticed” he said as he gently grabbed her hand and walk her towards the woods nearby, his respect towards her definitely went even higher.

Diana was pleased that the tigress would trust her. The butterfly was actually expecting to have to argue her case a little more, so this was a pleasant surprise. Once the tiger was on its way, she would keep hidden while moving. The young woman's hearing caught the sound of an engine, but her sight confirmed at 60 feet that her enemies were coming. Cursing softly, she would waste no time and get up high in the nearest tree when she heard the jeep coming."I'm fine.""At least I hope so,"The petite butterfly thought after responding before knocking her arrow from her quiver. Combustion arrow accurately fired for the engine, she would try to disengage back into shadow. If they gave chase, she'd try to slow them down with throwing the large plant dust creating an entangling vines (3 ftx3 ft area). Those not caught she would try to lose in the woods for a game of hide and seek.

Blair did nothing to stop the guard from beating up Mira, she had warned them the part they had to play, they should have expected some rough housing, yet, at the first sign of a threat they failed. Mentally the blonde rolled her eyes at Aya’s quick decision to break free which quickly led the others to follow the same plan. The librarian was however just as quick to respond, she had a role to play, one she intended to keep for as long as possible. Without hesitation Blair released one of her busts in the direction of the students. They were all lined up like good little ducklings so a single burst was able to catch them all as she was next to Mira. This would happen before Aya even got a chance to land her attack. All four students were sent flying off into the distance from Blair’s semblance a good few meters. Assuming they had aura they should recover quite well, if not, then well, they were going to have a few bruises from the impact.
”I knew those cuffs were too good to be true,” she uttered out loud while listening to the grunts of a certain tiger into her earpiece. Something was wrong but she couldn’t do anything about it. ”Let me…” Blair continued to say intending to suggest tying up her “captives” again but was cut short as the man in charge, the one who had been quite eager to flirt with her, kicked her in the gut causing her to take a step back. She had been too distracted with the students failing their simple task to notice. Thankfully she knew how to use her aura so it was just more shock than anything.
“Mr. Blue did tell me to beware the blonde…” He said with pure disappointment in his voice. With a click of his tongue various guards emerged from behind the various containers. They had always been there, behind and above, watching, waiting to go for the kill. Various guns pointed at her and the students. “I think it's time that your friends outside get a proper hello.”
Blair’s eyes squinted at him as she dropped the bag on her back, the one that contained all of the students' weapons. With a loud clang it landed on the floor. Hands slightly raised in the air as if to surrender she glared at the students. ”Oh job. Be good little slaves. Can’t even get slapped properly… Patience! Learn it!.” While yes she was being cruel towards them, she was hoping they would be smart enough to heed the warning within her lecture. They were surrounded. They had various weapons on them from all sorts of directions. Some were close by, others were on top of crates aiming down.
”This took a dark turn.” While it was true, she wished the students had held their desire to play hero back and bit longer, it was a code, one that Cereby would pick up. That tiger had yet to ever let her down.
Note: - Blair stopped your previous attack attempts from every landing by using her own blast. - This will knock ALL of you back a few meters. - We are all surrounded ;o; - Wait for Cereby’s DM Post ;3

Group C: The boat would explode thanks to a group of guards stepping onto the plate that was made by Pewrinkle. This would cause more guards to panic and go to pier. Do to this, the path to Group C's objective building is clear for Pewrinkle and Grimsly to go there without issue. If they do, they will meet up with Cereby, and inside will find the stash of Fake dust. A quick investigation will find that the place seem suspicious. Even grimsly would be able find that there is some wires attached already that make the place look like its rigged to blow. Pewrinkle be able to investigate and find the severity of it. (Roll 1d20 and add +5) If above 15 Pewrinkle know for sure that the rigged explosive in the building has no way to rewire BUT can control the explosion with her explosion (basically make it go boom by causing smaller boom) AND and that the explosive is enough to affect the whole compound and set it a blaze. . If below she will be able to infer that the explosion cause would be big but unsure the exact end result.
Diana: The shot from her arrow takes out the jeep and causes it to explode killing the other guards in it. While back in the shadows she will hear a voice calling to her before a stray bullet hits a tree nearby her. "Leave this place little one. I love the carnage, but this is MY problem to solve. Stay out of a serpent's fangs." The explosion also be loud enough for Diana to hear (the explosion from the boat) If Diana chooses to follow the voice and try confront it, she will be heading towards building B through the bushes. If she ignores it and doesn't leave like the voice states, nothing happens.
Group B: Thanks to Cereby and the call by Blair, the lights are turned out in the whole compound. However, not before security storms in. Guards swarm the room 3 seconds before it becoming pitch black. After the lights go out, the guards start to attack, firing their guns at the group that has heavily modified nonlethal rounds in it. The rubber bullets while not as dangerous as regular bullets, still hurt nonetheless. The Rubber bullets spray the area attacking Blair and the Students. Everyone in Group B roll 1d20. 16 and above the bullets miss. If 15 and below then you are hit by rubber bullets. If roll below a 5 then the rubber bullets catch you off guard and strikes before your aura can get up, causing the body part that is hit to become fractured. If you go for your weapons this turn to arm yourselves then your roll has a -3 modifier added to it. Due to Mira's faunus trait, Jammer's roll has a +5 added to it.
OOC: Gaia ate my mod post and I way too salty to rewrite it. You all getting spark note versions.
Sadly, everything Mira had intended to do, she didn't really have a chance to as the Pilot send a blast of aura through the chain, sending her and the others flying back. She wound up sliding across the floor, leaving a damp smear across it. She did slide back a bit as the chain went taut though. She already knew she'd slide back and forth momentarily if she didn't stop it and slammed her foot down to stop herself sliding further. As she did, armed goons rushed out and things went dark. They had a slight advantage now as all in the beacon group could see better in the dark than humans. She managed to break loose of the chain and dashed towards a man nearby. She took a couple hits from the rubber bullets, but, she had her aura up and they stung, but mostly just grazed her. Getting right up to him, her hand shot up, shoving the rifle off to the side as her knee shot up into his sternum, amplified with her semblance as she made to grab his sidearm with the other. If successful, she'd jam it into his neck and pull the trigger, taking the rifle as well if the poor b*****d went slack."Asses in gear people!"

Sváfnir Nuntis Son of Agmundr
Those who bare the mark of the Dragon....
The female voice now had a face and Sváfnir didn't like it. This woman has crossed a few lines and with her little word. Sváfnir first thought her trap would bring about some fun but all she has done was disrespect the leader of Team BADASS and worst of all she spoke of surrender, Who does this fool think she is? Warriors surrender?! Team Badass surrender?! Sváfnir surrender!?! she was completely out of her mind. This female be crazy and she was going to learn first hand Sváfnir didn't know the meaning of the word surrender. Sváfnir felt his irritation swell his anger the more the female spoke gritting his teeth but with a glance at his team he knew it was not the time to explode so remembering something Kamyu told him in the past Sváfnir began to think. At this time the female decided to finish her words off with a an attack from what seemed to be a fire weapon. Sváfnir saw the three projectiles head towards himself, Kamyu and Hades feeling Hades was better off Sváfnir went and leapt out of the way of his own fire projectile to meet the one aimed for Kamyu before it got close but just before he connected with his kick the Warrior looked over to see Hades had not taken any actions to counter or dodge the attack. A shield rose just before the fire connected the other male in the team managed a save and Sváfnir just grinned as his own attack connected to the fireball in front of Kamyu. Badass!

Before Ocho's fists could land he found himself thrown back by some unseen force. Blair's semblance, apparently, not that he knew that. At least, not at first. Not until she complained about the cuffs. Was that a dig? Was she truly that upset or even surprised? To have gathered up a group of students, likely inexperienced and eager to prove themselves, then told them precisely how to disengage their restraints and expect them not to fight back when antagonized by disgustingly disrespectful degenerate Humans? It did bring a smile to his face, however, watching the man Blair had been flirting with plant a boot into her stomach.
Odin rose to his feet, his aura still up from when he had broken out of those troublesome shackles. Still he couldn't get a read on this blonde woman. Was she scolding them? Telling them to stand down? Telling them inbetween-the-lines to attack considering she dropped the bag with their weapons? No time to figure it out as they found themselves surrounded by more guards with more guns.
Then the lights went out. This startled O'donnel more than anything else. Shortly thereafter he heard the weapons discharge and something struck him hard in the ribs. One of his hands rushed to the area as it surged with pain quick enough to catch the projectile as it bounced off his body. So, their bullets were rubber? That didn't make any sense. Well, it did, actually. This entire scenario must have been sanctioned by the Headmaster. Unless it truly was what Hades said it was and these Humans simply couldn't afford real bullets?
Not killing Oaklee when they had the chance would prove to be a mistake. The darkness must have been too much for the humans as they fired blindly. They couldn't see. Ocho and his team could. Excellent. He made his way around behind one of the guards, which he presumed was the one what shot him. Could be, but probably not. He used his bottom set of arms to grab the man in a bearhug while the next set reached for the arms in a full nelson. Another set went to apply a rear naked choke and the highest set of arms would give one slap after another. A promise had been made. And an example to be set. Regardless of if anyone else could see it.

Periwinkle would nod to Grimsly. They needed to move more. Peri would look back once they were 100 ft away. She would look back with enough time to see her plan come to fruition. The ship blew up. There was a sudden movement within the forest as people seemed to move towards the distraction. "I don't know why, but all of this feels...wrong. It's going too well..." She would say to Grimsly. She would take them stalking back towards the barn. They would see their team leader there. "Feline, things seem to be going too well...."
She would skulk into the barn. She would see wires everywhere. She could see the explosives. This would be a big boom if she could figure out how to get this to go off. She had been making plans, but they were thrown out the window. "Ummm, Feline....Grimsly...I need time to study this and figure out the best way to do it. Please watch over the door for me."

This was going south really fast. The one thing they couldn't do was surrender. This was there job. Be the distraction and do whatever it took to get the mission done. Was he scared out of his mind right now? Hell yeah. This was literally a life and death situation this woman had them in. Hades was on the floor still as a statue. That felt the 3 of them to try and defend themselves. They didn't know Misery was still on top of the roof because he had cloaked himself. It seems the woman was using her semblance on Hades. Then, she turned her weapon on the lot of them and shot fire balls. FIRE BALLS! How the hell was he supposed to fight fire balls. It seems Zach and Svafnir had his back. Making sure he didn't get attacked by any of the fire balls. That created an opening for him to try and fight her.
With Zach standing firm with his shield, that was his protection. There the earpiece, he communicated with Zach. "I need you to do this with me. You have the means to block and strike. If we do this right, it is a hit. You cover me and I am going to try to superman punch air blast her. If that doesn't follow through at least I will be done caused a distraction. You and Svafnir can strike." With that he would give a nod to them both and the plan was in motion.

Grimsley: You find that...the floor seems to be wet. Especially in the corners. It does not feel like water at all but it smells flammable. Also among the floor you find a random dice with a hydra marking on it.
Periwinkle On second observation, you find that there are 3 main panels that look to be busted around the center of the room. anything off. From your experience, you can tell that instead of ignition the switch is more like a primer to arm the bomb. The switch is locked with a place to put the dice into it. You faintly feel something out of place. For storage of fake dust, you feel as if there is a bunch of real authentic dust grouped together in bundles. The feeling grows stronger the closer you get to the walls of the room and the feeling seem to be set off almost in a rigged pattern.
OOC: Deeper Investigation. Can roll 1 more time each if you want. If do, will be locked into the action so someone could sneak up on u. However, you do have Cereby there as well who can be used also to guard or can add +5 to a roll once for Grimsley
The young woman was relieved that her shot was so effective, though she couldn't focus on the victory for much more than a breath. The shot to the tree she was in had her aiming another arrow from the direction she'd deduce it came from. Listening quietly, she would frown slightly. The audible explosion told her that part one of Group C's mission was complete."Very well."Diana said finally. Curiosity made her want to follow and at least see...But, she would resist and instead hide as her sight began to fade."Damn...I'll have to wait,"The petite butterfly thought as she remained hidden in the tree before heading to check on the rest of Group C.

Height was unknown at this angle, but he could see she had red hair it seemed; he could also see a large weapon on her; at least he assumed it was a weapon as it was in a shape he was unfamiliar with. As she would look up, Misery would stay perfectly still; not wanting to give away any indication of his presence. He had the element of surprise for the moment, and if he used it at the right moment it could help turn the tide of a fight potentially. A wrongly timed moment could lead to his own utter failure. So he patiently watched, still, as Z prepared himself once her gaze was away. She spoke of abandoning Hades, seeming to have a familiarity with him, and adding those below to her collection. 'We do not surrender so easily, nor shall we be trophies,' he thought to himself silently as he kept his emotions in check. She would then point her weapon to hades, and a small flame appeared. 'A fire based weapon...' he thought silently as his eyes focused on the small flame, mesmerized a bit. He could not quite tell what she said, too distracted by the light, nor did he care particularly as he stared at it. The fire felt like a perfect and ever shifting sphere to Misery in its current shape. What did break his trance was the balls of fire headed to his allies. He was too slow to react to do much, Z jumping down before he could even think to do so, as he shook his head to try to clear his mind. The saying of 'like a moth to a flame' was all too true with him. He would see Z try to do a shield for everyone, with everyone but Hades reacting. He wasn't sure why he had stayed still; having zoned out for that part of the conversation. But he knew he needed to act; he would hear Kamyu speak on the ear pieces about coordinating an attack. An idea came to his mind as he began to slowly circle the opening.
During this, he would note an explosion in distance and the lights below going out; whatever happened seems to have cut the power. He could always mention this later if it ever became relevant, but this was something to use to his advantage now; with moonlight he could see in. And if she were human...this would tilt things in his favor by a lot. As he circled, he would notice something else; there seemed to be lines and paths glowing on the girl, almost like veins, and they all travelled to her hands and weapon. If things weren't just kicking off into combat he may've been hypnotized again by the lights she was producing. He wondered what it meant; was it a kind of power of hers, and could they be disrupted to disrupt her power maybe? He had no clue; only way to find out would be to try. There was also something..off about her clothes, yet familiar. He wasn't sure exactly what quite yet, he would need to be closer. He would move to be behind her, from above, and try to judge the distance. If it was close enough he could do it from up here...it seemed to just be about right. At least he hoped so. Having heard Kamyu's plan, he was gonna help with it. With her back to him, he would fire down sticky moth silk at her to try and ensnare her limbs/weapon. It may not last long, especially given she has a fire weapon, but the whole purpose of it was just to restrain her to give the others a shot to attack. Whether it was successful or not, Misery wanted a part of this action too. Counting on the others to distract her, Misery would jump down to the arena below and prepare to fight as he would draw his katana. ☪ Post count: 64 ✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘.✘ ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄
Out Of Cocoons: The moth has joined the fight. For where he landed, assume he is to the left of the girl (not right next to her, but in that direction).
Equipment: Sickle x2 (18 inch blade), Kunai, Katana (24 inches), and cloak. Small dust: 1 wind, 2 water, 2 fire, and 2 earth dust. Large dust: 1 heavy gravity dust,1 light gravity dust, and 1 electric dust.
The fireballs had more to them that meets the eye. Upon impact, a shock wave would cause a knock back of intense energy. For Zach, he protected Hades but that knock back easily ended up throwing him into Hades. This, the outside source of pain, would cause Hades to break out of his state and come to. As for Kamyu, his plan would be interrupted as the connection of Svafnir with the kick to the fireball would cause the shock wave to send Svafnir flying into him at great speed. Misory restraint would work, but the threads were quickly vaporized by the woman as if touching her was like touching fire. The threads did last a few seconds though. Just the opening had no follow up. The woman would hear Misery jump down into the arena, but she had know idea where he truly was.
Hades would come to, his mind registering everything that was going on all while hearing the commotion in group B. Blair...NO...no no . WHAT THE ******** DID THEY DO? As much as emotions were boiling over, but the mission had to be completed. Even if that meant his own personal goal was going to escape possibly. He didn't know if this was true or not. Just from everything he was hearing, he could tell the plan was not going as scheduled. “Group C. If you can hear me. I need eta mission objective. We need this thing lit quick as possible. Are yall okay?” Hades asked while the only light was the moonlight and the glow coming off the enemy. Beyond that, it was dark. The downside being human, he didn't have the vision to see at night so he was handicapped in this situation. Luckily, she was like a flaming candle. Can't miss her.
“Group B what's your status?” Hades would ask on coms before the woman made her attack. A roar would enter into his ear and Hades just nodded. “Keep them safe. Keep it tight Cereby.” The words of Hades would soon be interrupted. The woman was back on the attack. “I for one think we the best bad asses ever. However, I don't think we in the best situation here” Hades commented he readied his skates. “Anyone got water?” he asked before the attack came. The attack came and pounded against the ground. Shock-waves would pulsate, making the ground shake. Each pulse would send out a wall of fire randomly throughout the room. Luckily, with Hades speed and agility he was able to dodge the flames. Once she was done, the woman grew dim, like a match about to lose its flame. She seemed weaken. Quickly bursting towards woman at quick speed with his skates, he would drop kick against her to make her knock back into the wall before bouncing back to her feat in disorientation. If they was going to attack. THIS WAS THE TIME!!
Grimsly and Diana: Diana on her way to regroup with rest of C would hear a noise. The sound of grim to be exact. It was off in the distance, but she would hear distinct yells coming from the security guards along with a bunch of yelling and begs for mercy. It was obvious what was happening. Grim were attacking the guards. Just as Diana gets close to the path that leads to the building Grimsley and Perwinkle are in, she would be able to see an Ursa charging full speed at the guard that was knocking at the door. Grimsley would hear a loud banging on the door of guards trying to get in before another bang would occur even louder. This second bang sounded like something crashed against the door. The door was almost broken up. Through its half damaged pieces Grimsley would be able to see the remains of several guards along with pack of grim outside. The closest grim being the Ursa that had its weight against the door. The grim must have been attracted to the negativity produced by the boat explosion. The Ursa weighed 600lbs, so while heavy, If Grimsley put his back into it, maybe he be able to push the door open and start clearing a path. Grimsly could push back the Ursa and clear the path there or he could let the Ursa burst down the door and protect Periwinkle and clear the path by dealing with the grim as they come inside the building. His choice. Cereby would run up to Grimsly and grab a dust crystal. It was time get to the critical part of the mission!!! Every second counts!
