Helmition, as the helmet called itself, was apparently an old friend of the Honedge and Houndour. They'd been together a long time according to him. Mitsu couldn't help but wonder, given the state of the Houndour, if maybe they'd been partners before they were even Ghosts. That would be an incredibly rare story, though, wouldn't it? Especially since Houndour was still, well....He was still a Houndour. But, Helmition didn't know if that was true or not and his two companions weren't any help either. It was interesting."What are you three doing here? This is a good place to get caught if you're not looking for a trainer.""We came here so that I could gather energy from the human masses. That way I do not weaken and become immobile."That sounded like a pretty good reason to risk it."I never said we don't want a trainer. I'm just going to let my Pokemon out so they can play more games."With that, he let the four out again and, after telling them not to bother the ghostly trio, headed back towards the games so Hoshi and Ito could bob for apples and walk across the rope again.

Niji glanced down and noted that both Chima and Gekkit had now disappeared. He wasn't worried, because he could tell the two were following their big sister Shiisa. She seemed to be interacting with a smaller version of herself... The wind lightly ruffled PJ's fur, and brought with it an impression of his shape. Ah, a growlithe.
Niji chuckled, remembering Shiisa when she'd been just a pup. Back then, he hadn't had any intention of letting her or any other pokemon near him, but she had been persistent.

Arezu and Hakuren stepped into a circular room (Cecily floated), with a stage raised from the floor. Atop the stage was the piano, its music growing alarmingly louder and faster as it came into view. The reason it was alarming was that there was no one playing.
"The keys are moving on their own!" Cecily exclaimed, floating around to watch. She moved to the side as Hakuren approached, watching him wave his arm back and forth. "Don't feel anything. Jeez, that's actually creepy." He had to speak up to be heard over the music.

The last couple games didn't go well for Mizu and Akari, but neither seemed too broken up about it. Especially Akari, who realized she may have overshot her chances by choosing a bigger pumpkin to try and break. The thing was about as big as her. With their games over with, Mitsu took the chance to look around at the several prize-rewarding games. There were darts, shooting games, ring tosses....A lot of games he could play without ruining his outfit and he was pretty decent at."I wanna try out one of those ring toss games. C'mon, you four. Well....Seven, I guess?"Helmition's little crew were hanging back a bit, though, more intent on observing Mitsu and the others than socializing right now. He hoped they'd join him sometime; he was intrigued by their story and really. Why not have the chance to brag about having a Ghost Houndour to his brother? It was unique, just like Mizu; something he knew would grind Takahiro's gears. In a way that wasn't malicious, of course.
Walking up the ring toss, Mitsu looked at the prizes he could win and took note of the seals that pretty much had his eyes sparkling. Those would be perfect!"Three rings, huh? I can do that no problem."The game master took note of Mitsu's confidence, but otherwise didn't say anything. Not that it would've mattered because now Mitsu had tunnel vision as he began to toss the rings, landing three with ease while the last two completely missed their posts. That earned him one seal and he went ahead and picked the star seal before playing again. What? He really wanted seals. Even if he couldn't use them in his performances, if he picked up contests, they'd be great for them. Before he knew it, he was walking away with three different seals along with a couple of unique balls and only stopped because he was holding up the line. But, he'd be back to play that again sometime. Maybe.

At least the freckled Charmander picked up it was a Mythological charater, rather a deity. He stood firm on his choice not to dwell on just whom Anubis truly is. Which meant the group followed along with Reina and Rose, finding themselves among games. One thing about Anubis was his size, and how it made him appear young, as most people would assume at his 'age' and how close he is to Reina that he should of evolved a long time ago. Anubis hates looking childish as much as he hates being treated like a child, so while he loved Carnival games, he had to pretend to hate them.
Reina on the other hand, loved these carnival games, and she wasn't afraid to show it. "I sometimes wonder if these squash aren't metallic." Reina joked, giving an understanding smile towards rose. "But really you just got to find the sweet spot." With that, the brunette turned back towards the squash and picked up a mallet, once more taking a swing at a super-sized one. This time, she managed to pelt one end of the mallet into the squash. A whistle came from Reina's mouth as she stepped forward and pulled off a piece. "Nope, not metallic." She grinned.
Anka continued to float ever closer to Reina, only to stop for a moment to partake in another round of Pumpkin Search. Sadly, this go was rather disappointing, as she only found a baggy with two tickets. Letting out a sign, the ghost continued on her way. Reina was certainly nearby at this point, in fact she could see Anubis and Anak'su... they were with another human and their Pokemon. The ghost rose a finger to her lips as she observed the playful flame of the Charmander that stood beside her own friends. She was both mesmerized, and a bit fearful of it.

Along with a plethora of games that Mitsu was more than happy to play and win his way into a bunch of new items, there were also a few stalls that were straight up selling some stuff. He took advantage of those to buy some berries, wondering how he'd gone this long without having any already. It was astonishing really. As he organized his new things into his bag, Akari and Hoshi scurried off to take part in their games now that the cooldown period had expired. They returned shortly after with tickets for him, which he took while praising them, before they moved on. He was going to have to spend these tickets on things that would absolutely benefit his Pokemon; they were the ones doing all the work.

PJ growled playfully as he gnawed on her paw, lifting into the air with it, before dropping down, looking up at her with a wagging tail. "Your brothers?" he repeated, bounding around her, as if looking for them, before coming back around and dropping into a playful bow, tail still wagging in the air. He gave another playful bark, and jumped at the air, pawing at her but out of reach, before barking a few embers out and dropping back down. "My family was adopted by other trainers. I just joined this team!" he explained, bouncing back up, only getting more excited about the play, "But they said I could do contests, so I'm really happy!" Because for PJ, that was all that mattered. And it showed with how much he lit up just at mentioning it.

She glanced over her shoulder back towards the others, but she could only see Niji's head above the crowd. Sham and Flurry were likely still heads-down in the apple tub. Chima and Gekkit were obviously too small to see.
The unbroken excitement as PJ talked about his family being split up surprised Shiisa. It was adorable, if a bit baffling to her. [ My brothers were all found by Niji. I found our current trainer though, ] she said, a bit proud. It hadn't been on purpose or anything, but Niji had more than approved and it made her proud to have found Arezu. Arezu was a good human.

PJ quirked his head to the side and looked around, lifting a paw into the air. 'Where are they?" he asked curiously, looking back at Shiisa, before dropping back down into a playful pose. He didn't really see any other growlithe or arcanine around... maybe they were hiding? If they were unevolved, like him, they could probably hide pretty easily with all the people and stands around. His gaze shifted, and he pounced on her foot on the ground, as if, somehow, that was outsmarting her, and letting him gently gnaw on her paw.
He blinked and looked over at the new face, tail wagging curiously, before he hopped up onto all fours and peered over at the other. His gaze shifted from Chima, to Gekkit, and he made a curious little sound, bowing down and tilting his head with his ears up. Were they here to play too? "Contests are amazing!" he piped up, once he'd realized what the question was, a grin on his face, "They're performances by pokemon and their trainer to compete against each other and see who gives the best show! They're really incredible!" His tail was practically a blur as he blurted out an excited explanation of his favored activity.

Shiisa snorted. She should have known the little ones' curiosity would get the better of them. She shoot a reproachful look over the crowd at Niji for letting them walk over here by themselves. He just returned with one of his patented blank faces that was almost a smile.

Back in the haunted house, a quiet clicking noise started up and completely drowned out by the piano. The platform lurched and began to spin. Both Hakuren and Arezu stumbled, barely keeping their balance.
And then Cecily, who was floating and therefore unaffected by the platform spinning, had only a moment of warning before Hakuren's head collided with her stomach. Then Arezu was there too, and they were falling over in a heap while Cecily floated above them.
"Oh, oh, I'm sorry! Are you both okay?" Arezu groaned, pushing slowly to her elbows. She shoved Hakuren off, but he just shook himself like a dog (an odd sight while he had his illusion up) and popped back to his feet. "M'fine," he mumbled, brushing himself off and pointedly not looking at her.
"Ugh.." Arezu rolled over, tried and failed to get to her feet. The platform wasn't spinning too fast, but it was enough to throw her balance off.

Mitsu couldn't help but notice the Houndour taking a small interest in the games Mizu and them were playing. It was kind of cute given that he didn't seem to have any interest in anything else and certainly didn't seem the type to walk up to one of the game masters to get a chance to play; antisocial is what Mitsu gathered from him, but he didn't know the Pokemon, so he wasn't making any final decisions about his character."Your friend looks like he wants to play.""He's more than free to do as he wishes."The trio of Ghosts were an odd bunch. There was no denying they were very close, but at the same time....They all seemed kind of cold and distant towards themselves and others.
