Ordered to take a sabatical from working at the hospital after finishing his residency, as higher ups think he's burning himself out though it's powered stress-related turmoil rather than the job itself. He still has a medical license and intends to go back to the hospital at some point, he just needs a few months off.
Besides, every circus performer gets cuts and bruises from practice, so he's sure his services are needed.
