Tom managed to get a hit in, but that didn't mean that the rest of the fight would be like this. He still had to survive himself, and it looked like he managed to find an angry jedi too. Well someone wasn't living up to their costume!
He managed to dodge some of the swings by his target turned attacker, and tried to back up, but unfortunately tripped over something, sending him backwards, shooting randomly hoping he would hit something.

Michael Kidder-Rebel Jedi"Maybe don't take your cues from action mo..." Kidder started to note, snarkily, when the little bugger hit him again "...Yeah. Movie physics. The force is not with you." He amended, then lunged to take advantage of the confusion. "Ha! En Garde, or... whatever!" Oh yeah. Very witty. He was going to have to do better than that... 7SSBrosB Sure sure blame the actual mind control thats what they all say. ((SSBrosB and I chatted about this and came to the conclusion the second hit is void because it happened too soon!))

Kit Paine - Rebel Alliance - Light Robe
When the pillars went dark and the elevators lit up, Kit obediently complied with the disembodied voice's orders. He wondered what was up on the fourth floor. He also wondered idly what might have happened if he'd mixed and matched costumes like a dark robe and a blue lightsaber or a red saber and a light robe. For now, though, he didn't want to ruin anyone's fun, so he thought it was better to just go along with what seemed to have been planned.
When the elevator doors didn't open, he continued to wait patiently while lost in his own thoughts. Those thoughts were soon interrupted by instructions to prepare for battle. Curious, Kit took out his blaster and loaded it with the fake ammo. He preferred long-range weapons to close-range but he could use the latter if it came down to it. For now, though, the blaster would do. When he was ready, the doors opened, surprising him and making him wonder how they had known when he had finished. Cameras, perhaps? "Considerate of you," he muttered, glancing up and around to try to spot cameras.
Kit didn't have much time to think about those, however, because the five-story jungle-gym before him caused his jaw to drop. "Whoa. Who-ho-hoa! This is awesome!" He had literally only dreamed about structures like this before. He'd never known they actually existed!
Even more exciting was the appearance of other people, enemies and allies alike. Kit was grinning so hard his face hurt and he wasted no time in hurrying to the slide he was directed toward. This was going to be sweet.
The lights on his uniform before had reminded him of laser tag targets and vests. Usually lights meant the fight was going to be someplace dim and the light-based weapons made the connection to laser tag that much easier. Now he was more glad than ever that he'd chosen to arm himself with the blaster first.

Eventually, Minoru's thoughts managed to put two and fish together to make pi. Or, at least, a coherent reason as to why the elevator doors weren't opening. Removing the belt, blaster, and ammo from his shoulder, he swiftly fixed on his costume, and felt a rush of relief over him when the elevator doors did open. Yet, what he saw made that rush recede into embarrassment.
There was... a literal fortress of a jungle gym seen from where he stood and a number of other players rushing in and out of the fray with their weapons in hand. This isn't what he signed up for. In other words, he was reluctant to play.
I-I didn't come here for nothing, though, the male tried to reason with himself as he took another step forward, and then another. And the trip back home... Yeesh, that'll... That's gonna take forever.
So he had no reason but to play. So with his weapon in hand, Minoru tried to submerse himself into the experience of this weird kiddy war.

Kit Paine - Rebel Alliance (Light Robe)Ah ha! As soon as he slid down the end of his silde, Kit identified a Stormtrooper helmet and drew his blaster. Holding it up, he aimed and fired.

Minoru was glad he was wearing a helmet because the chagrin he wore beneath was as deep as the ocean is wide. He was caught off-guard by the sudden voice and blast aimed in his direction that he didn't have time to skid out of the way. When one of his lights blinked off, he scrunched up his mouth.
"C-crap!" he cursed aloud, feeling a rush to fight well up within him. "Take that!"
With a shaky hand, he tried to aim his own blaster at the rebel, and then pulled the trigger with hopes of it hitting.

Kit Paine - Rebel Alliance (Light Robe)"Whoops!" Ducking into one of the tunnels, Kit peered back out to get a better view of his attacker. Good thing he'd thought to dodge. That one had been close!
"Better luck next time, sweetheart. Think you can keep up with me?" he teased, blowing the Empire faction member a kiss. "Catch me if you can."
Turning back around, he took off down the tunnel as fast as he could, grinning madly and wondering if the trooper would decide to give chase.Lights: 8

In the heat of battle, most tended to lose their train of thought. Not Minoru, however; he managed to gather his bearings and pull himself from the jolt of determination that rushed through him.
That didn't stop the heat to his cheeks from both embarrassment and shame when his blast missed.
"You're not getting away," Minoru reproached as his lips tugged into a grin.
He still had mixed feelings about this whole ordeal, but he tried to make himself have fun. Note: tried. So in quick action, he tagged along after the rebel before he could lose them in the sea of bodies with a finger clicking away at his blaster's trigger.

Slate - Rebel Alliance The elevator opened, and with no other places to go, Slate stepped inside. Still, there were no others around him. He waited there, tugging at his robes to look at the lights upon it, while the doors slowly closed. He checked the blaster and lightsaber that came with the robes. He looked for instructions and found none. The elevator started of its own accord, though, and hauled him up to the fourth floor without taking a single stop. The voice sounded, and Slate was happy to have guessed right in getting dressed in the robes. Then the doors opened, and he stared dumbly at what he saw.
A massive jungle gym stood below, with slides depositing into various points on the gym. "What even?" Slate mumbled to himself as he marveled at the massive contraption. After a moment's glance, he finally found the people he was looking for - the people in the darker armor gathered elsewhere, and people who chose the same robes as he gathered nearby. He was glad for the company, at least - he was starting to feel somewhat nervous and lonely from all the solo time - and gladly joined with the similar group. Still, he was uncertain what he was supposed to do here.
With a moment of time on their hands, he asked one of the nearby Light Guys about what was going on, and the poor soul embarked on the lengthy process of explaining laser tag and its derivatives to a clueless teenager. Complete with weird looks for not knowing a damn thing about it, the other boy finished explanations as thoroughly as he could. They could not dally long, however, as they were soon urged to join the slides and join the battle.
Slate originally intended to tag along with the guy, but he disappeared into a slide as soon as he was able to break free of him. Slate wasn't sure he could shoot anyone, even if it was a game, since it sounded pretty painful. He couldn't imagine people joining if there was a high propensity to get hurt, however, but it wasn't exactly advertised that this was what they were doing. Carefully he chose his slide, one that deposited into the gym itself, and ducked inside.
Down he went, rushing through the spiraling surface until the slide deposited into some kind of a futuristic space ship. Slate wasn't sure where he was, but he didn't initially see anyone. With no one else in sight, he started to wander.8 lights

Tom - Storm Trooper - Galatic EmpireHe had been hit! Though that wasn't really surprising. He wasn't wearing any shielding of any sort and he was open for hits after he tripped and fell, so it was bound to happen anyway. Scrambling away from his current attacker, he moved behind some more equipment and noticed another guy in a jedi robe that might be a good target. Still hiding as much as he could, he fired at the robed figure, hoping he would make a hit. 7 lights

Terry Hyatt - Galactic Empire - Dark RobesSince he had already put on his costume, Terry waited patiently for the doors to open while holding his lightsaber at the ready, just in case there were any surprised on the other side. When the doors did open up he grinned as he looked around, taking in the Star Wars themed jungle gym set up. Oh this was going to be fun~. He looked across the way to see the rebels so he assumed that his team mates were on this side then stepped out into the gym. It wasn't long before he was hearing sounds of others engaging in the laser tag fights and he skirted a few so he wouldn't end up accidentally tag teaming which would then lead to ganging up on someone, and ended up on the Millennium Falcon floor and came across one of the rebels but one of his team mates engaged them so he kept going. Gabriel Westinghouse - Rebel Alliance (Jedi) 3rd Floor
As he exited the elevator, he grinned. Oh they had gone so far beyond themselves in this. He was pleased. He readied his saber and moved forward, making his way to the third level and setting out station there. He would see whom he could get. An ambush was perhaps the best means of attack at close range like this.
He could hear he battle going on around him, and while the sounds of the game where meant to be in good fun, he could not help but have random flashes of that battle that he had, not so long ago, fought. He had a moment where he looked down at his hands and saw blood, he shivering and closing his eyes to clear his mind before he readied himself and kept a weather eyes open for any passing Imperial scum.

Alerana Ikaros - Galactic Empire - Dark Robes - moving out into a hallway on the 3rd floorAfter waiting a couple minutes, it seemed no enemies were coming into the forest room after her. Guess she'd have to go looking for them, then. Gripping her plastic lightsaber with both hands, she crept up to the nearest door and looked out. The room beyond appeared to be some kind of futuristic hallway, probably belonging to a space ship or army base or something. She didn't know enough about the series to know, and didn't really care. The important part was that there was someone in a light-colored robe in the hall. She crept forward, sliding along the wall and trying not to be seen. Once she was closer, she rushed forward and swung her lightsaber at the other player...er, at the rebel scum! Lights: 8serpentsong En guarde! Swing and a miss!
