Whether by happenstance or whatever force that drew him there willed him back, Zero eventually found himself back at Mt. Pyre. He recognized the misty peak anywhere, and directed his dragon to land there. Once he was down, he returned Ashen to his ball, and brought his sleeve across his eyes. They were very red, though his tears dried up long ago against the strong winds his Charizard flew through with ease. The silver-haired trainer for once felt just how cold the mountain was, despite his heavy coat, and with himself once again alone, there was only his thoughts to keep him company.
The little voice in his head that wanted to disappear had grown to a majority, and Zero found himself willing to oblige, at least for a time. He knew a good spot, and made his way off further on the peak. Eventually he reached a wall of rock up against the side of the mountain, and maneuvered his way behind it. A small rock path was there, just wide enough for him to stand on, and he sidled across it until he reached an opening. To call it a cave would be an exaggeration, it was more like a crevice, just wide enough for someone wider but shorter than Zero to fit in. He moved to the back, and sat down as he let out a deep sigh. He thought briefly of the time he found this hole when he was little, but his mind quickly reoccupied with the current events. His fist balled, and he rested his head on a knee. He cursed himself mentally for a while, but eventually darkness flew over him like a blanket, as he found himself unable to ward sleep off any longer.
Once Zero's senses had faded with sleep, a silhouette moved into the little hole the trainer was holed up in. With more light, it wouldn't be hard to see that the silhouette was Nova, dripping wet from her first attempts at teleporting. She'd cycled through the possible locations pretty quickly, and only on her return trip here had she sensed him coming near, and now that he was fast asleep, she rejoined him. She'd almost emerged from the fog earlier, but held herself back, unsure of what to even do now. She could feel everything going through her trainer right now, and she couldn't do anything about it without possibly making things worse.
Still, she did need to do something, if her trainer just slept here there'd probably be some curious spirits that would come along. Until he woke up, she'd ward off spirits, and try to make his sleep, at least, peaceful. Not like she knew what else she could do right now.

Well into the night, the silver haired-trainer's mind stirred once more, and he found himself somewhere that felt weirdly familiar. He'd never been to this place before, too his knowledge, though if there was some physical feature that he could associate with it, he wouldn't have seen it. He was sitting in what seemed like a black void, but from some insurmountable distance shot up an opening, that stretched high into the horizon. The bar was thin however, and only a tiny bit of light shone through, revealing the space the boy was laying on was a stark white.
He tried to stand, but found himself weighed down by something heavy. Zero couldn't quite see what it was, but he could tell there was something wrapped around parts of his body, preventing him from movement beyond simply sitting up. His vision was slightly blurry, but once they adjusted to the low light level, he could see what his binds were. Cuffs of metal wrapped tightly around his wrists, ankles, and what he assumed was a large, steel collar wrapped around his neck. Each of his bindings were attached to a heavy chain, each link of varying length and size, though the chain itself seemed rather short.
Zero brought one of the chains to eye level, so he could get a better look, and he realized what they were. Within each link, a memory played out. Curiously, the first and largest link was void of anything, but the second and third played out without anything needed from him. They were from when he was little, and both were times he very nearly got his friends hurt. They were minor, just cases of wrong place at the wrong time, and those two pieces were reflectively small. The next, however, was a larger link, which played a painful scene. It was the day he cost his friend her arm, and very nearly her journey as a trainer. The next few were a couple sizes smaller, if a tad bigger than the earlier ones, and these were from his own journey. The one that got a wince out of him was the memory of the Skarmory, that he and Isis had run into on their way to Fallabor. Yet another time I've put the people closest to me in danger... he thought to himself.
Finally, he came upon the third-largest chain, the sight of which made him ball his fists. He was out for most of what happened, but the bleeding body of an onyx dragon was more than enough to tell him what it was. He grimaced, and let his arm drop to his side. "I really do just get people hurt, huh?" He asked into the void. He hadn't realized it, but as he looked over the memories that weighed him down, the pillar of light had grown thinner and thinner, inch by inch. It was slow, but clear as day. Despite how heavy his chains were, Zero finally got to his feet, and by the time he was up, the light was razor-thin. "After all this, perhaps I should just..."
His voice trailed off, and he began to fade again. Before he knew it, he was awake, and still felt something on top of him. A quick glance down and he found the familiar azure "hair" of his Gardevoir, the rest of her body slumped over his side. He let out a sigh, and gave the pokemon a light pat on the head. "Sorry about leaving you behind..." He mumbled, before returning her to her ball. They could talk later, but for now, he'd let her rest. Though, that didn't really help him when his side was now mysteriously wet, but again, something he'd have to bring up later.
Once he was up, he made his way back across the thin stone path, and let Ashen out once again. The dragon let out a mix between a yawn and a roar, before turning his attention to his trainer. The Charizard flinched a bit, surprised at his trainer's now stony expression, unsure if it was a neutral one, or an angry one. It was getting a little hard to tell at this point... Still, the dragon couldn't help but be put off a tad, finding his trainer's look seeming less like a face, and more like a mask. "Come on, Ashen," Zero finally said, snapping Ashen back to attention. "We've gotta head somewhere else to train today." He moved behind his Charizard to climb on his back, and once he was there, gave some general direction on where they needed to go. Then, the fire-type took to the skies, and flew off towards the place he was directed to.

Ajicka's gaze remained on the pokemon as she turned to start walking with isis. Her eyes narrowed as the pokemon's eyes began to glow and her voice became a marriage of several others, but then looked ahead. "That's ambiguous... So then what are you?" she asked, frowning and raising an eyebrow. She didn't remember learning about a pokemon like this, though she wasn't exactly surprised. She did her best to be aware o fmost pokemon, but there were so many, it was virtually impossible for her to have known them all. Especially with more being discovered so frequently.
She gave another glance at Isis when she apologized over her friend, but gave a very detached shrug and turned a dull gaze forward. "Eh, I don't care. Some people just aren't strong enough to deal with the stuff that happens to them," she stated bluntly. Zero clearly hadn't recovered from what happened-- that, or more had happened. She wasn't exactly one to talk, she'd needed help, but she had recovered. He just seemed to be slipping further along.
She glanced over as Elle suddenly let herself out, giving Ajicka a very strained, disapproving stare, which her trainer quickly ignored. Elle shifted her gaze to Isis, an apologetic expression on her face. 'Sorry,' she apologized telepathically, 'Ajicka didn't... mean that. She's just not very tactful...' Or considerate. Most of the time.

Isis explained for Raja before the wispard started to get cryptic and mysterious with her explanation. Raja huffed a bit, Isis taking away all her fun by getting right to the point, but she supposed she couldn't complain. "We're what might be considered a pokemon medium, helping ghost pokemon cross over and rest in peace, or purging the land of more... Malevolent spirits." Raja explained farther. Though, Isis felt the need to apologize for Zero's behavior. He wasn't usually this flighty, but Ajicka seemed unfazed by it all, giving a detached shrug and insisting that Zero just wasn't strong enough to deal with what was going on. Isis sighed, about to comment when a gardevoir appeared and seemed to disapprove of what Ajicka had said, apologizing for her trainer's harsh words and explaining that the girl just didn't have tact. Isis smiled appreciatively at the psychic type, but shook her head. "You're right," Isis replied to Ajicka, but also hinting a bit at her thoughts on what Ajicka has said for Elle. "That's the issue we're having actually... I think, anyways. He recognizes that he wasn't strong enough to hold himself together when things got bad, and he wants to become stronger, but he's also... Pushing everyone away, and saying stupid things like how he's protecting people like me from himself, but... It's stupid, he doesn't need to do this, he doesn't need to blame himself for things that were obviously out of his control... It's scaring me. I've already had a close friend fall down this path, I just.... Don't want to see it happen again." Isis sighed, wiping the dried tear stains from her cheeks. She would be crying more right now more than likely, if it weren't for the fact that she just felt so drained already; it felt impossible to cry any more. Yeah, Ajicka definitely hadn't heard of that line. She would have to try and find out more about them, but from the glance she got at the pokedex, and what Raja and Isis had said, they seemed interesting. There was just no, no way she could risk putting too much attention into that, though; she didn't want to even consider pokemon to tempt her. She had way, way too many pokemon as it was, and they seemed to just keep piling on every time she thought she was getting her team settled. Which... dammit, the Torchic. She had meant to release it once they got out of that house. She'd have to do so later...
She glanced down as Raja further clarified, raising an eyebrow, but narrowing the other eye slightly. "So which are those 'voices' of yours? Malevolent spirits? They certainly don't sound like they've 'crossed over' or anything," she muttered, puzzled, and really trying not to let her interest grow any more than it already was. Luckily, Isis started spilling on everything that had been going on, and Ajicka's expression flatlined, her dulled gaze looking at the girl, then sloooowly moving to just stare ahead. "That sounds like his problem," she muttered. 'Ajicka!' The girl shot an annoyed glance at Elle's exasperated tone. "What? It does. If he's too stupid to, her de dur, see what being 'stronger' actually means, then that's his problem. You don't become 'stronger' by having pity parties for yourself and throwing psychotic breaks at your friends, or whatever. You get the hell over what happened, pick up your baggage no matter how heavy it is, and move the ******** forward. If he's going to wallow, the least he could do is unbuckle himself from everyone so he stops dragging them down too," she muttered with a sneer.
She gave Elle a look, evidently feeling the disapproving, wide-eyed and strained stare of her pokemon, but neither said anything. Ajicka turned back to Isis, frowning slightly. "And no, I didn't. I asked if you two were okay because your friend looked like he was trying to juice his own head for some sanity, and you were still in that place when things were going to start shutting down," she clarified. Which could have ben a yes or no question, but she didn't add that. She could already see Elle silently screaming to herself and shaking her hands at the sky in frustration of her trainer. But hey-- she didn't ask what happened, and as far as Ajicka was concerned, that needed to be clarified; because she usually intentionally avoided that wording. If she were, say.... 30% more sociable she might have realized how unhelpful it was, but... she was Ajicka and thus.... not.

When Isis explained the situation with Zero though, Ajicka seemed rather pissed off about it, claiming that it was Zero's problem if he didn't actually see what being stronger actually meant, since you didn't get that way by throwing pity parties and dragging everyone else down too. Elle was clearly upset with her trainer, and honestly Isis was a bit shocked by how blunt Ajicka was being, but even though her words were cruel, they rang with some truth. Ajicka also pointed out that she'd asked if they were okay, not what was wrong. "A-ah.... Sorry, I didn't quite hear you clearly." Isis looked miserable until she was distracted by remembering Leon's text, reading it and replying quickly, though she grew a bit uncomfortable when she felt Ajicka staring, and as soon as she put the Xtransceiver down, the other girl asked if she always did that. "D-do what....?" Isis asked honestly. "Answer a text? I mean... Yeah I'll generally try to respond as quickly as I can.... And I certainly need to know if I've got an new assignment from work. The press never rests and all that... Heh." She shifted, looking a bit embarrassed. She wasn't quite sure what it was about Ajicka that intimidated her so much. She was about the same height, if not ever so slightly shorter than Isis, and she looked quite a bit younger as well, though she acted as if she were older. Not necessarily more maturely, but she did act older than she looked, which meant she had a more cynical view of the world and had strong opinions on it. Isis wasn't quite sure how to.... Hmm... Ajicka felt like she understood about... 80% of that. She raised an eyebrow and looked up, thinking over Raja's further explanation. "Well... yeah, I get not all spirits are malevolent. You said that earlier when you made that distinction, but... does that mean that 'purging' is the same as absorbing them to be 'cleansed'? And does helping with that 'task' mean the same as atoning?" She turned her head a bit, glancing sideways down at Raja, a frown on her face. All this spirit stuff-- it really wasn't her kind of thing, but she was a bit stubborn on the issue of understanding it. Now that she started, she didn't really want to drop it until she had a better idea of what she was talking about.
Ajicka shrugged as she shifted her attention back to Isis. "Then that's your problem, I guess. His is figuring out whether he wants to be a moron or grow a pair and own up and move on, yours is figuring out how hard you'll try if he decides to go with the former," she stated dryly, still looking ahead. She really wasn't invested in this-- advice, support, that stuff... it wasn't her thing. It wasn't even her thing for friends, and she... couldn't really say she had any, or many, of those. Rose and Jimmy sort of counted, but... even then, she had her limits. She would be more likely to just give them an apathetic, steady pat on the back while they cried, or slap sense into them if they were being stupid, than change her tune and try and be emotionally compassionate.
"I meant more answering texts in the middle of a conversation...." Ajicka admitted, trailing off a little as she glanced at Isis' Xtransciever. She let the pause linger a moment, then shrugged. "But if it's for work or something, then I guess that makes sense. You have to know if you need to change where you're going or something, since it might mean having to cut things short." She gave another helpless shrug, and beside her, Elle sighed a bit, giving Isis an apologetic, 'Sorry if my trainer is being difficult' kind of expression.

First, the spirits are purged of evil intent. Once they are no longer a malevolent threat, their spirit is absorbed. However they still need to be cleansed of their past wrongdoings, as they have not yet atoned for their sins. The Task is our purpose here, to find restless spirits, purge grudges, and prepare them for arceus' judgement. In order to atone for their sins, the spirits aid us in that task. These things are not one in the same, but they are connected." Raja hoped that clarified a few things.
As the focus moved back to Isis, she nodded sadly as Ajicka suggested it was her problem if she was going to worry so much about Zero, not that Zero didn't have his own problems to figure out, but if Zero was going to keep being an idiot, then Isis needed to decide how much she was willing to give up trying to help him. "Frankly, if he was just being unreasonably rude and irritating, I'd leave him alone until he got over himself, but.... This isn't... He's not being.... Completely, unreasonable. He has a right to be upset, he's just taking it too far, and as much as I don't want to deal with it... I feel like if I don't, he's going to be miserable for the rest of his life, or even choose to end it, and I can't... Just sit back and let him. I couldn't bear the guilt knowing that I didn't even try to help, and then he...." Isis felt the tension coming back and trembled slightly before forcing herself to relax. "I mean... If this is what he really wants, and I can't talk him out of it, then at least I tried.... B-but...." She swallowed hard. It was impossible to talk about this so lightly. If Zero ended up dead, whether she tried to help or not, it would still kill her either way.
"There's.... Really no way to get out of this is there...? I mean, unless I could just suddenly stop feeling. If I didn't care this would be a lot simpler, but it's a bit late for that..." She laughed bitterly. After texting Leon back, Isis felt a bit better. Taking her mind of this whole mess was a welcome change, though she felt rather embarrassed when Ajicka asked about it, prodding her a bit for answering texts in the middle of a conversation. "Y-yeah... Sorry, it's a bad habit I need to break, I know, but it's like... Impulsive now because of work. I feel compelled to check and respond." She admitted, tugging at one of her ponytails. Ajicka nodded a bit as she listened to Raja. That made.... mostly since, she supposed. She could probably keep asking questions if she had reason to, but she also figured she could go and talk to one of the professors when she had the time and interest. For now her curiosity was sated, and she simply let the information soak in for now, shifting her focus instead to the conversation with Isis. Which, admittedly, she wasn't all too invested in either, but at least she wasn't just leaving. Yet. A sharp look from Elle told her the gardevoir was still very much listening to her thoughts, and though her expression didn't change, she did take a very slow, measured deep breath, and let it out, glancing back over at Isis as she continued to lament.
".... Like I said, your thing," she stated, trying to ignore the strained stare of Elle, instead closing her eyes as she continued down the mountain, ruffling up the back of her hair near her ponytail. "Your the only one that can answer any of that. I don't really take pity on people who take it that far and are that stupid," she admitted honestly, dropping her hand back to her side, "I can't really provide any input on it." She could probably say more, but from the look Elle was giving her, it was likely better she didn't. And, indeed, the now-mega gardevoir sighed, her shoulders slumping a bit. 'Ajicka may not think so, but I think it's good of you to care about your friend that much,' she spoke up, sparing a glance at Ajicka, then returning her gaze to Isis as she wrung her hands in front of her a bit, 'She's right that you need to take care of yourself, though. You can't make him live, or want to live, and if you try too hard you might make his suffering worse and end up wearing yourself down. But I think it's good of you to try, and I think if your friend really cares about you, he'll pull himself out of it.'
She tried offering a smile. 'And even if he doesn't, maybe his pokemon will. I can't imagine any pokemon letting their trainer do something like that...' Ajicka glanced at Elle, her expression passive as ever, and Elle seemed to specifically avoid looking at either of them. Ajicka gave a small 'tsk' sound. "Elle's right, though. His pokemon should be helping with this," she started, and Elle gave her an irritated look. 'Ajicka, that's not what I--'"And if they aren't, or don't, then maybe that's your sign of when to stop trying. They might know more than you do," Ajicka finished, finally looking over at Isis again from the corner of her eye. Elle huffed a bit, but looked at Isis, frowning uncertainly and evidently gauging her reaction. At least... Ajicka was finally invested enough to stop nagging on the message thing...

✿ ❀ Raja waited to see if Ajicka would ask anything else of her, but Ajicka seemed to be out of pressing questions for now, so she let the girl take in the information she had for now. Raja wasn't going to try and keep the spotlight. Honestly it was Isis who needed help the most, though Raja still wasn't quite sure that Ajicka was the best person to take the job. Even her own pokemon seemed to disapprove of everything that came out of Ajicka's mouth, though Isis appeared to be fine with the blunt and slightly harsh words. Isis couldn't quite understand how Ajicka could be so easily detached towards everything. Did this girl have any friends at all...? Or at least ones she would care about, even if they were being unreasonably stupid? It didn't seem like it. Even Ajicka admitted she couldn't really provide input since she just couldn't take pity on people who acted the way Zero was acting currently. Either that meant she just didn't have any close friends, or she was just a really tough love kind of person.
At least her gardevoir was a little more sympathetic and understanding, which Isis appreciated. It was good to have her feelings validated when Elle explained that she thought it was good Isis cared about her friend. Though, like Isis, Elle also felt Ajicka had a point about taking care of herself too. Isis nodded in sad agreement. Ultimately she couldn't give Zero feelings that he didn't have. If he'd lost the will to live, then she couldn't force him to feel that will again. That just wasn't how it worked unfortunately, as lamentable as the situation was. Though, Isis did feel comforted by the mega gardevoir's suggestion that if Zero really cared about her, then he would pull out of his funk. Isis knew Zero cared, and he was probably just more scared about hurting the people he cared about more than anything else. Not to mention she was sure Zero's pokemon would help him. Well... Most of them anyways. Nova was probably a little reluctant to try anything, and understandably so, given last time....
Still, even Ajicka had to admit that Zero's pokemon should be helping him, even though Elle insisted that wasn't what she was implying, but if Zero's own pokemon gave up on him, then that was probably a telltale sign that there really wasn't anything that could be done. "Urk....." Isis felt a cold shiver run up her spine at the thought. "That's pretty sound advice. I'll try to gauge his pokemon's reactions... And I guess.... In the end, if there's nothing I can do... Th-then...." The thought alone was a hard pill to swallow, but she shook it out of her head. She didn't have to worry about that. Not yet at least. There was still one more chance to bring Zero back from the brink. "Zero said that he wanted to remind himself why he started his journey... That's why he asked me too meet up with him in Lilycove. I think if this doesn't bring him back then I'll just have to throw caution to the wind, pray to arceus, and leave him be." She sighed, noting the mountain's exit just ahead. "I know it's not really something you wanted to deal with, but thanks anyways for listening. Both of you." She paused. She didn't feel confident, but she did feel a tiny bit better after being able to talk about everything and organized her thoughts. At the very least, she didn't feel worse. She turned to Ajicka. "Er... Also, would it be a stretch to exchange numbers? I promise I'm not usually this depressing." Isis chuckled a bit. "Besides..." There was a flash of a competitive spark in Isis' eyes for a moment as she shot Ajicka a small grin. "I haven't forgotten the way you battled at the ball. While Isis talked her way through the feedback she'd been given, and further explained Zero's earlier comment, Ajicka remained quiet. She watched the girl from the corner of her eye, mostly to show that she was listening. Her head lifted a little when Isis thanked her and Elle for listening, and while her pokemon gave a bright, sympathetic smile and a nod, she simply gave the latter, and turned her gaze forward. Isis could have been worse, after all-- she could have started crying, and ignoring everything she said, and 'Woe is me'd all over the place. "No problem," she offered, after considering this, and feeling a slight, urging prod at the back of her mind-- she wasn't sure if it was from Elle or Deoxys, but she assumed the former.
She was pretty sure they'd gone far enough that Isis would be fine, but Ajicka held her tongue on trying to leave. Instead she raised a skeptical eyebrow at Isis' request to exchange numbers, but then visibly relaxed, a smirk crossing her face. "Well... Yeah, okay. I guess that would be fine," she decided, actually managing to maintain the smile. She liked the idea of a future challenge, after all. She might have accepted anyway, but... that definitely won her in. Elle smiled and looked up at the sky-- this girl was smart, at least. She wouldn't be surprised if Isis knew what she was doing when she offered that battle to help win Ajicka over on exchanging numbers.
Ajicka offered her contact info, glancing down at Monferno, who was still clinging to her, but now sleeping soundly. Her shoulder was starting to hurt from holding him for so long, but at least his tail had wrapped around her waste, careful not to burn her shirt, and was helping keep... a little of his weight off her arm. Seeing as his energy had apparently died down, she returned him, putting the pokeball away and rotating her arm to try and work some of the strain out of her shoulder. "You need help getting to Lilycove?" she offered, once they each had one another's contact information. "Or are you good?" She didn't really want to ditch the girl, but she did need to tend to her pokemon, and she was itching for a battle now that Isis had mentioned it. She could probably go and take a few out in Sinnoh, and start making progress there, now that she thought about it.

✿ ❀ It was good to see Ajicka smile, even if it was more of a challenging smirk at the idea of a battle. At least it was a.... Happier emotion than the annoyed and apathetic ones she was displaying ever since getting involved with her and Zero again. She honestly felt kind of bad for dumping all of it on her when she clearly didn't want to get all that involved, but Isis was appreciative that she at least listened and attempted to give input. Even if it wasn't the most sympathetic input. That was more where Elle came in. Isis chuckled a bit, exchanging numbers with Ajicka and returning Raja in preparation for flying to Lilycove. Though as Ajicka offered help in getting there, Isis grinned and shook her head. "Nah~" She unclipped Nocturne's ball from her belt and sent the pokeball into the air to release the noivern. "I've got a ride, but thanks for checking." She smiled appreciatively, letting Noc land beside her. The noivern narrowed her eyes a bit at Ajicka, flaring her nostrils, but otherwise didn't haul off and try to attack the girl like she usually tried to do with strangers. Then again, now that Isis thought about it, Noc was usually more calm around girls than she was with boys. She had attempted to attack Zero and Leon, even when Isis was right there with her, but she seemed relatively fine with Ajicka. Apathetic and distrusting, but not hostile at least.
Isis hopped onto Nocturne's back and sighed. "Wish me luck. I think I'll need it." She simpered, but shook it off and smiled at her new acquaintance. "I'll see you around." She nodded, then sent Nocturne into the air, gently steering her towards Lilycove. "I wonder what Zero wants to see...." Isis quietly thought aloud. She couldn't guarantee Hinata's cooperation, but she certainly was going to try to give him the reminder he needed if it meant he was going to feel better. ✿ ❀

Ajicka raised an eyebrow as Isis released her 'ride', observing the Noivern and appearing fairly unfazed by its glare. Elle, on the other hand, pulled her hands in nervously, warily keeping her gaze on it. She knew Ajicka was, perhaps irrationally, unconcerned about being attacked, but the gardevoir didn't really like the way it was.... looking at her. She kept her hands to herself and her voice quiet, though, watching as Isis prepared to leave. She offered a small smile farewell, while Ajicka simply gave her a final nod.
They both watched as she left, then Ajicka released Fearow. 'Where are we going?' Elle asked, looking at her trainer as she climbed onto the flying pokemon. "Back to Sinnoh. I want to get some more badges, see how far we can get before we need to buckle back down and start training everyone up." Elle gave a small smile. As they flew, Ko took in the beautiful sight of the forest bellow, rather,what she obliviously believed to be the Petalburg Forest below. But after some time, something struck as odd to her. Looking back she found Kezia was hugging her from behind, rather than Ohm. "Kezia?" Ko called. The fox looked up, almost instantly her eyes widened. 'Wait. When did I sit behind you?" Kezia asked, turning to look behind them both, there wasn't any form of a male human there. "Where... Where is Ohm? Did he fall off?" Turning she lowered her body close to Tephinger's head. "Turn around Teph, we've lost Ohm!" The bird was about to, when suddenly, the illusion cast upon them broke. They were flying head first into Mt. Pyre!" Tephinger quickly Jetted himself into a 360 knocking Ko and Kezia from his back, while he himself landed harshly into the side of the mountain.
At this point Ko's mind was running a mile a minute. Getting up she found herself on the grass fields high atop the Graveyard mountain. Tephinger however had landed rather roughly, falling to the grass field, his wing to sore to pull in. Rushing to the bird, Ko quickly looked it over. She was to angry with herself now, having realized quickly what had happened. They'd been tricked once more, and now Tephinger couldn't fly. "We'll have to head down the mountain and head back on foot." How long would it take to reach Rustboro on foot from all the way over here? What did those Zoroark hunters want with her this time?
Returning Tephinger, she promised him she'd head to Lilycove City first to get him looked at. Right now she had to focus on getting out of this predicament. Strangely, the brunette found the area rather quiet. If they weren't going to attack her, what was it they wanted her to be here for? Kezia quickly joined up with Ko, an apologetic look hidden behind her sun glasses. "Don't worry, Kezia..." Ko replied, hugging the Zoroark. The shiny Zoroark was more upset with herself than worried. Why was it she was always to oblivious to illusions... she was a a Zoroark... a species that mastered the illusionary art, yet.... every time it elluded her. Was she just to naive? Or just stupid?

After returning Tephinger to his ball, and looking around to see if she'd lost anything, the brunette quickly pulled out the Togepi egg from her bag to hold onto. It'd be far safer in her arms than in her bag. She also wanted to make sure it wasn't harmed during that crash. Luckily it seemed just fine. With Kezia, Ko set forward, walking along the beaten path through the tall grasses, but it slowly became abundantly clear that they'd have a hard time navigating through a dense fog that had overcome the graveyard. "Fone, could you come out please." While Ko was primarily worried about Ohm and Tephinger, Fone could at least get in some training with some ghost Pokemon while they were here. Even still, the feline didn't appeared to be enough lighting to break the thick fog. "Hmm.. Wait... Don't I have something like a light in my bag? Kezia could you check?" The fox obliged, reaching into Ko's bag, finally pulling out a thin fold-able stick and a folded up paper lantern. "Perfect. Fone, could you light it with your wisp fire?" He nodded, doing just that. The lantern lit up with a claming blue glow from the fire held within, but then... an eerie feeling began to fall over the group. Bells chimed in the distance, and slowly, various ghost-type Pokemon began to show up... a lot of them not even from this mountain, let alone this region.
Ko looked down at the lantern. Did this thing summon them? So it was like that incense then.... but this one only called forth Ghost-types. "Alright Fone... The lantern is working, I can actually see the path ahead of us, but we're going to have to fight out way through this ghosts." Surrounded at every angle, there didn't appear to be any way through. Fone nodded, growling his challenges to the ghosts, who turned their focus on him. "Just keep using Phantom Force!" Thus the battles commenced, Fone first took down a Gastly, then his sights were set on a Misdreavus.
