A Miracle FoalParent 1: Uncert / Under the wingsParent 2: UncertLink to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: Feathered Friends in High PlacesLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: HereWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of his beautiful, rainbow feathersShort IC Response: With a booming voice and a dashing smile, Quetzalcoatl approached the altar "Star!" He called out, as he would speak to an old friend, an equal.
"I hear that you are worshipped here by men and soquili. I am no stranger to such reverence. And of course, I respect your customs here and I bring you honor and an offering. In the lands that I hail, feathers were traded for goods, services, and the more beautiful the feather, the more valuable it is. Of course, none are more beautiful than I, so I hope you are honored by my gift," The angeni continued boldy. This was about as close as the proud stallion came to humble.
"My strength is respectable, but there are feats that even my grandeur cannot accomplish. For many years, I have been travelling alone. None I have found to be worthy of being in my company and my favor. But, I fear, that a lonliness grasped at my heart. In this strange world, with unusual customs - and none of whose residents had even heard of my name... such a trajedy. But then, I found another - a brilliantly feathered stallion who... perhaps comes close to my grandeur and beauty. His presence makes me smile, and he has continued to surprise me by making each day that we travel together infinitely more interesting than it was when I was alone. A sunset is more beautiful, a river more crisp. Even though he - tragically - has no wings to fly with me and share that joy, he has shown me wonders of the earth that I may have otherwise passed on."
He took a breath, and for a moment, there was a sign of something longing, humility in his eyes, "He has shown me such wonders, I wish to return it. But the way I most wish - a way to unite our lives and create something new, even I cannot bend the reality to make a child between the two of us. But surely, Star, if you are as powerful as they claim... you could bring us something... a blending of his beauty and mine... and something to bring a little more light into the day, and joy in our lives."
He took another breath, holding it for a moment and pictured Darshan in his mind's eye. He hoped that he would approve of such a request. Both of them had found so much joy in the simple company of one another, but it did still feel as if something was missing from their lives. Still, Quetzalcoatl considered himself fortunate to finally have someone he felt was truly worthy to travel with him - a friend, his entourage, but in truth, someone so much more.

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: About me.. I am a sweet and maybe a little overly caring girl. I like to see the good in others I meet. I love furry little creatures.. I wish I could say I have a lot of friends but sadly I know very few other soquili. All I have for company is my best friend, a mountain lion Lilith. I believe in luck and that anything could be possible after all I have seen a little horse that lived in water 10 Things I Like: Rainbow Carousel Big cats Bells Feathered wings Masks Ribbons Glowy things (ex: globes, lanterns, necklace, markings) 10 Things I Don’t Like: Bald ponies Aquatics (I want them to travel with me please) Creepies (ex: extra eyes, limbs, gore) Snakes Bugs Plant bodies or parts The color Olive Big teeth (As a decoration its okay but nothing with buck teeth or large incisors) What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Serenity set down a pastel rainbow bundle and unwrapped it, leaving it for the special star. On top of the colorful cloth sat a pristine feather she had kept tucked in her tail braid for luck, twined with strands of hair from her tail and one of her precious bells.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: no armorRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A piece of his armor set. Short IC Response: Thunjeramon settles at the top of a small hill, pausing before whisking the cape off his back and undoing his leg armor. He sets them just a little in front of him, nodding in approval before looking up. The wishing star. He's heard of it before from passing Soquili and decided to give it a try.
I know I'm here to ease storms and light the way. I'm happy to do it. But I can't be the only one. I just - I feel like I'm not alone. Or, that I haven't always been. I want to find them, the ones like me. I want to know I wasn't brought here to be the only one.
He waited, and sighed. Satisfied with his doings, Thunjeramon nodded again, turned and left.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Relation: Sister Race (first choice): Half unicorn like her brother. Race: Cerynei What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A rose that reminds him of his sister. Short IC Response: Rylan had tried this before, when it was just him, and the wishing star had seen fit not to grant his wish. Well, that was alright, he thought. He knew his sister was still out there, he just had to find her. But then he'd met Liela, and things had changed. He didn't want to leave her now....not that she'd likely let him leave on his own. And wasn't that something he loved about that mare.... He shook himself out of that train of thought. This was about his sister. Raelyn. He missed her...even though she almost always got him into trouble when they were foals. It had been fun, and he missed the kind of fun she brought with her. He sighed softly. "Wishing star," he murmured. "If you can't help me find my sister, then please at least keep her safe from harm...and from herself. Rae doesn't always think before she opens her mouth," he said and chuckled. "Anyway....thanks for whatever you can do." With a smile, he left thinking about his sister and how much he loved her.

A Miracle Foal Parent 1: Pavlov Uncert Parent 2: Zahavah Uncert Link to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: Bump in the Night – where they met and eventually became co-dependent. Link to approval post of the owner of the other parent: Mutual LinkWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A braided rope of vines…Gimm’s way of managing the “snakes” that tried to attack Pavlov earlier that day. Short IC Response: Tell me a little about your couple. What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask for a basket?Pavlov approached the alter slowly, his eyes habitually scanning the parameter. The night was cool and clear and by the moonlight he could see all across the valley around the hill. Pavlov tended to feel a little better if he could at least see what was coming at him instead of being blindsided by another vision. This morning it had been snakes. Pavlov really hated snakes. He awoke to the sound of hissing and to his horror Zahavah was gone. The mini mare was his best friend and protector. Somehow she had the power to make his visions disappear. But that morning she was gone so it was left to Grimm to jump in. The rabbit tied up the vines in a matter of seconds, smugly presenting the rope to Pavlov like a cat gifting a dead mouse to its owner. It was this rope that Pavlov brought to the present to the wishing star as his offering. “Um, hello?” he said looking up at the heavens after placing his offering. “H-hi there, I’m Pavlov. Maybe you’ve seen me before? You know, in the meadows, or the forests…or running terrified for my life…” he sighed and pawed lightly at the ground. “I don’t really know what I’m doing here. I can barely take care of myself. Actually, no, I can’t take care of myself. A rabbit just saved my life this morning. He’s a nice enough rabbit as far as rabbits go….that’s not really true either…he’s kind of a jerk, but a well-meaning one.” Pavlov paused and tried to gather his thoughts. It was just him and the wishing star. No pressure, right? “So there’s this girl, er mare. Her name is Zahavah. I’m sure you’ve seen me with her a lot too. You see, she’s kinda fantastic and she likes to be with me. And I Really need her to stay…with me. Not just for the ‘defeating the evil visions’ thing, I know that won’t last, but because she’s….she’s Zahavah, and I when I’m with her I’m almost happy and for a little while I just might be safe. But I know she wants “little minions” to raise…” his mind flashed to a different vision than the usual horrors, one of a beaming Zahavah teaching a young soquili how to block and guard and stand her ground. For some reason he always saw Zahavah with a daughter, a little fearless filly just like her mother. “Anyways…I was kinda hoping maybe you could help with that? I know it’s a long shot and I know I’ve done nothing in my live to deserve it, but I’d really like to see Zah be happy and I’d really like her to be happy with me.” He added in a quiet voice, a whisper in the night because he knew he wasn't destined for good things in his life like little baskets and bright eyed babes but still... "And you know what? I think I might be happy with a little family too."

An Extra GiftParent 1: UncertParent 2: UncertLink to Breeding Permission: HereLifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Zacharael is leaving a gold painted rock that he once stole from the mare Aresenciel when they first met and he tricked her out of a bag of painted rocks. Short IC Response: Zacharael had learned what Ara thought was the beginning of his son's origins. It was strange to think that an natural occurring phenomenon had granted Ara's wish. Gabriel was her little miracle child. Zacharael had felt astonished at the sight of his son and now yearned to shock Ara right back. However it was also a chance to grow their little family. The stallion dropped the rock amongst the other offerings before craning his neck around to check for observers. He didn't want others to see that he had a soft side.
"Star, I've heard the rumors that you are able to bless couples with children. I wish to seek your blessing for such a child. I wish for our family to become larger and for Gabriel to have a sibling to be able to play with. I leave a token of my first encounter with Ara as my offering to you."
Feeling it was all he could do Zacharael gave the star a long, searching look before trotting off. The gold rock glinting amongst the other offerings.

Pnevyma silently creeps up to the wishing star and lays the ripest pumpkin of this year's harvest as an offering. Short IC Response: Pnevyma approaches the wishing star and stares at it not knowing what to say or even do. Sure, he'd just met the mare, but there was somthing strange about her. She did not flinch or anything when they met. Blinking, he sighed. "Well, it seems like I would have to say something. Err. I brought you the finest pumpkin that I have. Hopefully you will be satisfied with my gift to grant my wish. . ."

An Extra Gift Parent 1: Uncert Parent 2: Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: [x]Lifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A lock of Shadow's mane Short IC Response: The wishing star wasn't a secret anymore - most Soquili around these lands knew about it's existence, and most Soquili tried to take advantage of its offerings.
And Abattie was no exception to the rule. Her family meant everything to her, and more, but she wanted something else. Another...child. Her first batch of children were all grown and gone, for the most part and Abattie felt a tiny twinge of heartache. Her whole life had been dedicated to getting a family and falling in love, and now that she had it, suddenly, it wasn't enough. More and more, and more....she could have asked Shadow to be parents again, but she knew...it was too soon. Too soon, too painful, especially after the disaster that was their first pregnancy. She didn't want the demon to return, she didn't want Shadow hurt.
So the wishing star was the best option. Perhaps, even if she didn't get her wish, she'd be able to talk herself back into her happiness, and wait for children the natural way.
"Oh wishing star," she started, when she was comfortable enough to begin her request, "I wish to be a mother again. I love my son; I love my daughters, but I want to try again. I want to give this thing another go - maybe I'll be better the second time around. Please hear my wish, oh wonderful star of might." With that, she opened her tightly-shut eyes, and giggled.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): A Parent (ie mom or dad) Race (first choice): Warhorse Regular Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Warhorse Uni/Half Uni(Yes they must be war in any specie for it make sense canonically. Scars from wildfire would also be prefered to make sense with cannon.) What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Feathers from Hoto's collection and shells from Haha's collection and some of their hair braided together. Short IC Response: Quote: The siblings walked toward the offering hill together, solemn and hopeful. The star had lit and Hoto had told his sister of his offering to the star to bring her back into his life. She'd laugh and told him he was silly...but then asked it it might work for her too. Or maybe both of them might make the wish stronger. He'd asked whom she'd wanted to wish for. There had been tears in her eyes as she'd looked up and at her big strong brother and said. "Mother or father?" A piece of the big stallions heart had broken. If either of them was alive it would be a miracle. A miracle beyond miracles, but...maybe it was worth a try. The only think that could possible would be for the star to not hear them. Or simply not be able to grant the wish...
And so they stood together now on the offering hill with their offerings. It was Haha who took her brothers piece of the offering from him and stepped forward to place them. "Star. You brought me back to my brother and I am thankful everyday for that miracle. I wondered if you have one more. If either of our parents is alive, can you send them our way? Please?"

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Roy is without a doubt the sweetest, kindest soquili that I have… She is shy to the point of a stutter and has even had the uh.. nerve to wander up to a Kalona for a conversation. (In all honesty she had zero clue that that was a very stupid move to make) – In a nutshell she is a the purest and most oblivious of pure. Because of this pure sweetness that she has about her, I want to find her a keeper so to speak. Not a romantic relationship but a stallion that will travel with her and make sure that she stops doing dangerous stunts. 10 Things I Like: Long hair, Dapple grey, Thick hair, Ribbons, Critters, Color Contrast, Lilac, Carousel 10 Things I Don’t Like: Evil types, Short hair, Facial Hair, Neons, Blood, Gore What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?Roy looked up at the night sky, a tear shimmering in the corner. She couldn’t believe how beautiful this night was and how grateful she was to just… be. The only thing that Roy had to offer the beautiful star was a single silver tear… sliding down her cheek. Every bit as pure as the mare’s heart.

A bowl of water Short IC Response: Tell me a little about your couple. What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask for a basket? The kirin mare walked with steps as light as clouds. Gingerly she bent her neck and placed her gift for the Wishing Star down. She bundle of cloth unraveled to reveal that she had brought a bowl of clear water as her offering. Staring down into the small reflective pool Chanterelle wished with all her might. She wished that she and Aella might be able to bring home a basket all their own. She wished that the Star would see that Aella was just as much a necessity to her as the very water in this bowl. She wanted to be able to share the love that the mares had built with something brand new to this world, to show it that it belonged. Just like she and Aella belonged together, so would a child all their own belong to their love.

He hadn't. Chane sighed, "Maybe it's selfish... and I know it's too much to ask for a child truly of our own... It twinkled in the sky and Darshan looked at the little pile of offerings already left. It made him a bit sad to think that all these different Soquili felt like they had something missing in their life. He didn't pity them, he just felt sad that they felt they needed to turn to the wishing star.
But here he was, and so he could not judge. He used to think that love could conquer any hurtle, but alas, there was certain biological limitations even his greatest optimism couldn't overcome. "Star," he said, quietly and respectfully. "I know its early, and we are still learning. But I know this is the one...that I could see myself being more with. Please consider granting our wish... I know not if you're listening, but... the world could use more love. More hope. Especially now. Thank you."

An Extra Gift Parent 1: Uncert Parent 2: Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: XLifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Trelleum lays a golden bell down upon the brow of the hill, a gift Procyon had given her on their first night together. Short IC Response: Trelleum stared down at the large bell that sat quiet upon the stone alter. In it's golden mirror she could see the star reflected there, shining brightly. For a moment she thought she saw Procy's eyes shining up at her as well but when she blinked only the star was there. Suddenly, she felt very alone. She struggled to find the words, she had been told that a wish must be said aloud under a star such as this. "Star..." She started, not sure where her words would lead her. "I miss him so much." She let out a broken sigh as she said it and scuffed her hoof on the ground, kicking up a little spray of dirt that fell down the side of the alter and collected again in a little hill beneath it. She lifted her head to stare intently upon the star, hoping to see some inspiration there. As she stood there staring, her cloak began to quiver as if in a breeze, though the night air was still. "My mate, he is... often away." She whispered to the star as a tear started to gather beneath her eye. "I understand why he needs to go, but..." She tilted her head and squinted her eyes, trying to hold back the tears. The umbral fabric that hung about her neck fluttered more as her tears grew. A small green light started to glow from the beaded clasp of her cloak that was now dancing around her shoulders. "If we had a foal, to call our own, perhaps he'd stay home just a little longer." She cried softly then, letting the tears roll down her muzzle. A puff of green smoke emerged from the bead about her neck, trailing out into the night to light the hill a glow in green. A small dragon formed in the rolling smoke and twisted it's way up around Trelleum's head. It paused near her ear and seemed to whisper something to her. The mare flicked her tail from side to side, methodically, like a cat, her emotions getting the best of her. Her face grew stony as the green whisp spoke to her. "No!" She yelled suddenly, turning her head, quick as a whip, so her nose moved right through the dragon, the smoke breaking up as she touched it. "I don't want to be alone!" She growled at the green light as it faded back into darkness and the hill was black again except for the star watching from up above.
