"You do that, and I'll keep frying these little shadow dwellers." now that he had well, a healer to fall back on he was content to turn his abilities to frying things, something he seemed to be pretty good at.

Diana panted as she quickly moved back over by Damien. It looked like he was doing well enough at keeping the shadowlings off him and the area around him and she needed a break. She rolled her eyes at his comment, she had not been to upset. Just a bit annoyed at the fluffy tailed hell hound. After all, she took great care with her appearance and even if she wasn't that good at hitting things at least she was trying. "Maybe in a bit puppy. As it is, I hurt my tail earlier doing this. One of those... things bit my tail back in the dorms and I need a moment to bandage it before more arrive. That is, if you think you can keep those things off of me while I do so?" She said to him in a slightly challenging tone as she kneels down near him and tears a section of her underskirt free. "I hate to do this to my favorite skirt.. but I can replace the damn thing when this is all through." she muttered to herself as she brought her tail around in front of herself and started to bandage the still bleeding bite wound.

Junko meant it when she said she was going to help, just fighting was not her strong suit. Instead she had a box of homemade spookies, ones she had used Ginger's teachings to make extra special. If it was one thing that got under his skin, it was the phrase puppy. he tension was back in damien's shoulders just at the mere mention of the word. "I can try to hold them off for awhile longer, not for long." he grunted, trying to distribute his weight back into his feet that were not feeling as light as before. "Something about the air, i'm not at the 100% that im used to, starting to feel winded." its wasn't a good sign, the stamina that had trained was quickly wicking away, faster than he liked in the situation.
There was a decent amount of energy to kick a loose chalkboard eraser out and into a dilapidated wall that feel with a crash on a few of the shadowlings that began to assemble. the energy didn't last for long when the hound feet caved out from under him, collapsing in a heap. "Need some stamina, FEAR."

The text message received from Andrew was met with a relief, it seemed that the demon boil was alright. The condition of the club rooms were not better than his dorm room, the little sneaky shadowlings were everywhere and they were chewing, as if they were having a big big feast.

The boil had tolerated enough of them, they were not the adorable head, so AJ was not gonna mess up these greedy creatures.

Suddenly a spookie was thrust in his direction by an older student with lots of hair. "Ahh thanks." he stopped long enough to eat the cookie, feeling much better quickly. This fight wasn't sooo bad, not with helpers around.
"AJ! You are alive! Any idea where these things came from?" he grinned at the boil, feeling more relaxed. Despite there being so many, it seemed the little shadowlings were weak, maybe if they killed enough the rest would go away. "Anyway, I've killed a few of these things already, they aren't so bad.... They tried to eat half my room but I got rid of them easily enough."

Maple was honestly just as surprised as Andrew was, even if he probably really wasn't. "I-I d-din't kn-know I c-could eith-ther," she replied clutching her broom handle even tighter now, "m-my m-magic d-doesn't w-work th-that w-way usually..." Oh, Hacate, she didn't do anything wrong somewhere did she?
It would just be her luck.
Pushing her brows together, the young witch looked quickly around the club room for another possible target. She spotted another ghoul who seemed to be fatigued and pointed her broom at her. Channeling whatever it was, Maple tried what she had done before again.
It wasn't much, as before, and she could feel a slight recoil in the spell. But something did happen. Maple was surprised.

Lattice noted that the poor Pup known as Demi wasn't doing so hot so she meandered over to him and gave him a nice healing arm pat.
Cause her hugs would not soothe any wounds.

A small voice drew AJ's attention from the attacking shadowlings, it was the little witch. The serpent-dragon boil waved and asked hesitatingly, "H-Hiya Maple! Glad to see you're okay......your boilfriend is not around?" He jumped high to dodge a creature dashing towards him, wanted to taste the flesh of an amphisbaena.
While in the mid-air of his landing, he opened his hands and shrugged to Andrew. "No idea. I guessed I encountered the same thing as you did. Nice try, cool boil~.

Andrew was a bit tired from his earlier flaming outburst, and was still working on that cookie. He took another bite. "AJ kill them don't just doge them. sheese."
He turned his attention back to Maple. "You couldn't? Weird, maybe it's a new skill... or did you have the same dream I did?" he was learning dreams were important after all.

"Okay, okay, I will try." Then AJ started to spin himself, forming a fast-rotating whirlwind. It was not surprising at all, but the head. It was so unhappy and reached out its head while the boil was spinning, it was yelling something like "Not you! You! Or you! I am the only special one! No one gets my spotlight!" As it snapped and bit onto the shadowlings, they just disappeared as kinds of black mists. The damage to the swarm and also the club rooms were destructive.
"How's this?" He asked Andrew when he finally stopped, with all the shadowlings surrounded him gone.

Perhaps Lattice could not see Demi's pout and begging face but she seemed to sense something greater needed to be done as she lifted her hand and gave the Pup a nice headpat and a ruffle of the ears.
It was an excuse to see if these appendages were fuzzy and they were delightfully so.
Thus Lattice stuck around and gave Demi a nice extra scritch behind the ear before she let him be so he could fight.
She was essentially ignoring all hits of her own she took in her search to attend the wounded.

Diana smiled wanly as she quickly finished tying the bandage. She couldn't help the slight wince in sympathy at his comment though. She herself had to admit that she was feeling a bit winded and could not help but wonder why. She also noticed that he seemed a bit more tense again. Perhaps it was the nickname she used? She had not meant to upset him in the least however she knew that this wasn't the time to address that. "Thanks Damien. That helped and I understand. For some reason these things are managing to get to me more than what I am used to as well. Too bad I'm not more helpful ne?" She said as she took a glance at him from her spot, any trace of a smile vanishing when the elder student collapses into a heap.
"Woah! you alright Damien? Here.. Let me help you up." she cried out as she quickly made her way to him. She then watched as another student healed Damien a little before she found herself by his side and taking one of his arms, placing it around her slender shoulders. She grunted as she struggled to tug him up. It took quite a bit of her strength, However after a minute she managed to at least get him standing again. Much to her dismay however, she was not able to do much else for the hell hound as her wings drooped so they would not get into his way. Then she looks to the one who had helped him and nods. "Thanks." She tells the student before turning her attention back to Damien.

Uru had been separated from the group for a moment, rounding a corner to only find them again. However, this time they were in a larger group. Boldly he walked to them, uncaring if the shadows would reach out and swipe at him from their recluse in the walls. It seemed like the last group of shadows they faced had wandered off or just dissipated from their actions. Now they have returned and are much nastier than usual.
And like the shadows, the students were changing too. Some were now using magic! He had heard that coming to this school would allow him to harness the magic that he held inside. At least that was the shpeel his parents gave him. They were quite adamant of making him go. Then again, he would do nearly anything to get away from home.
"Hellhound." He uttered, coming up to the previous guy from before. It seemed like everyone made it here.
The sight of seeing people using magic and powers unnerved him a bit.
