Best Storyline nominees
Mike Landry vs. Disciple – WWE:E
This storyline actually began last year at WWE:E’s ppv The Crusade. During the Triple Cage Match for the Undisputed Championship, Landry laid low while Disciple and Harli fought it out for the Championship. Near the end of the match, Kelly King 2.0 came out and caused Disciple to barge through the door and try to attack The One True King, only to be laid out by Scepter, Kelly King’s sledgehammer. With the door open and the title fumbled, Landry grabbed the Undisputed Championship and ran out the door, winning the title for a second time.
Shortly after, Mike Landry Kelly King 2.0 and Matt Stone formed a faction simply entitled, “The Best,” and had the credentials to prove it with the Undisputed Championship, Tag Team Championships, newly formed Remnant Championship, and number one contendership to the Undisputed title locked up among the three. Disciple never gave up his assault on the faction, claiming number one contendership by defeating Kelly King 2.0 in a ladder match, the first ladder match that The One True King had ever lost. However because of technicalities and infighting all throughout WWE:E, Disciple was never able to claim his title shot until much later in 2010.
The Best knew the threat Disciple posed, and so they attacked his uncle Nathanial Creed several times, trying with all there might to keep Disciple away from them and their gold. Disciple finally got his championship opportunity, but it was stolen from him when the lumberjacks all interfered, including Matt Stone and Kelly King 2.0, and beat down the monster, allowing Mike Landry to lock in the Figure of Perfection and force him to tap out.
Now…one year later…The Crusade looms and Disciple will once again have the chance to take down Mike Landry inside the Triple Cage match for the WWE:E Undisputed Championship. Will Mike Landry have more tricks laying in wait, or is only a matter of time before the Dreadnaught finally reap his horrible vengeance?
Mike Landry vs. Phoenixfire & Matt Shanahan – WWFG
Years ago in an organization called WWE:U, Mike Landry and Matt Shanahan had a 3 month feud over who would win the heart of Ashley Massarro. After Shanahan tried framing Landry as an obsessed pervert by posting playboy photos of Ashley in his locker room and also running him down in the parking lot with a car, Landry came back and at No Way Out, defeated Shanahan in a Watch Your Step Match.
Years later, the two meet in WWFG and Landry now has his eyes on esteemed diva, Phoenixfire. This is after Landry has made his name as a Heartbreaker, but Landry now seems sincere and totally focused on improving the women’s division by giving it it’s greatest star in Phoenixfire. He offered his tutelage and his heart to the girl, seemingly making her the Definitive Diva in WWFG. All the while, Matt Shanahan tried to warn her and the world that Mike Landry was not sincere and that this was all another one of his mind games, but no one would listen. Landry and Phoenixfire continued to have success in WWFG until an Intergender tag team match which featured them against Matt Shanahan and Claire Hawkins. After a heated exchange between Shanahan and Landry, Mike tried to steal a kiss from Phoenixfire who promptly backed away in confusion. Enraged, Landry forced her into the ring and hit her with the Heartbreaker, laying her out for Claire Hawkins to pin. In the following weeks leading up to Wrestlemania, Landry took it upon himself to psychologically torment Phoenixfire, haunting her at every turn and bringing up the past to try and set her off her game. Finally, at Wrestlemania, it was Mike Landry vs. Phoenixfire & Matt Shanahan in a No Disqualification Match. Landry focused his efforts in crippling Matt Shanahan, and then savagely beating Phoenixfire all around the arena. Matt Shanahan would make saves at key points, keeping Phoenixfire out of harms way, but he could only do so much as Landry was more than willing to debilitate and destroy his long time rival at every turn.
Eventually Landry had Phoenixfire pinned, but Matt Shanahan flew off the roped at the last second and splashed on top of him, knocking the wind out of him. Phoenixfire rolled him over and finally…got the 1...2…3. However they weren’t done there, and Matt Shanahan took out his Punkville Slugger, raised it up high, (paused for effect of course), and brought it down right onto Landry’s skull. Mike Landry was wheeled out on a stretcher and since then has seemingly distanced himself from Phoenixfire…but is he really finished there?
Mike Landry vs. EEW Management - EEW
Almost one year ago Mike Landry picked up a win for the EEW Television Championship against Marxx. Since then, he has taken every single match, booking, and title defense he has been forced to endure as a personal attack from EEW Management. Mike Landry was forced to face Snypa Rifle on three separate occasions despite retiring him, face his tag team partner Matt Stone, take on 3 superstars at once with Snypa Rifle as the guest referee, and when he demanded to be awarded a title match in another division he was forced to compete in it directly after an EEW Television Championship match.
Eventually Mike Landry teamed up with Bryan Bain, the current FTW Championship (though he is not recognized as such) to form the Essence of Excellence. The two found kindred spirits in each other in the fact that EEW never treated them fairly, and took it upon themselves to bring down EEW Management and display them for the frauds that they were.
After the failed attempt at the EEW Tag Team Championships, a match in which they had to compete against three different teams at the same time, Mike Landry revealed that he had a lawsuit filed against EEW Management with dozens of offenses listed against his employer. He threatened that if he was not awarded a fair shot at either the EEW Tag Team Championships OR the EEW Heavyweight Championship, that he would sue EEW Management for all they had and he would TAKE both titles by force.
Frustrated with Landry’s constant whining, Tim Sylvia finally took action and proposed a deal. Mike Landry now has a number one contendership match against an unknown opponent, and if he wins he has a legit shot against the EEW Heavyweight Champion. Only time will tell if Mike Landry is up to the challenge, or is just a big fish in a small pond.
Mike Landry vs. Kelly King 2.0 – WWE:U
After Mike Landry became the first ever WWE:U Heavyweight Champion, he began his crusade to Break the Hearts of every single person in the audience, and everyone who ever stood against him. Eventually that proclamation lead him to a confrontation with his former best friend, Kelly King 2.0.
With number one contendership locked up for the King, Landry had no intention of giving him a fair shot. In their inevitable title match, Landry proved he wasn't just blowing hot air when he said, “I’ve broken more hearts than the heartbreak kid and I busted more balls than Ric Flair did,” and he hit 8 different low blows on the King with the help of distractions from then protégé, Layla El.
Enraged and vengeance on his mind, Kelly King 2.0 invaded the home of Mike Landry and beat him ruthlessly on live television feed, even taking the mental rode by messing with the lights and seemingly disappearing into thin air. After letting the flames burst into Landry’s face and tossing him off the second story banister, Landry was “pinned” by Kelly King and he stole his championship. Landry fought back on the next episode of Unlimited, arguing that it wasn’t a legal sanctioned match and demanded his title back, but Stephanie McMahon herself declared that she signed the papers and allowed it to happen.
Mike Landry was not going to take this lying down, and donned a mask in order to break into Kelly King’s home and steal a small wooden box. He showed up in the mask during Kelly King 2.0’s title match and revealed that he had the box, causing him to lose focus, as well as his championship. Over the following year Mike Landry dressed in his mask held the box over Kelly’s head, forcing him to do his bidding until he finally unmasked and revealed that it was he who stole Kelly King’s prized possession.
However Landry would not reveal what was in the box, taunting the King with little hints for the audience such as taking a small golden coin (later revealed to be a tag), and smashing it before dropping it down a drain. Eventually after months of torture, Landry revealed that inside the box was none other than the ashes of Kelly King’s childhood dog, Jasmine. He offered The King a chance to win his dog back, if and only if Kelly assisted him in winning back the WWE:U Championship. The One True King chose to take the opportunity to beat the hell out of Landry, costing BOTH of them their chance at the title.
Landry in a fit of rage, threatened to destroy the box. Kelly King came out and brawled with The Heartbreaker once again, and eventually they came to a conclusion. A Watch Your Step Match for possession of the ashes set for Survivor Series. Who will win? The man set on making the world feel the pain he feels and inventor of the Watch Your Step Match, or the man who just wants his dog back?

Best Storyline Cart vs GBL - The True King Of The Canvas. Cartwright The King Kartwright vs GBL feud began when they, along with Jed, became Co-winners of the King of the Canvas Tournament. (I'm guessing this was around September 2009) Kartwright was furious about having to share his royalty and Undisputed Title Contendership with GBL and confronted him about it in October. In November, they faced each other in a tag team match. Kartwright went crazy with hate in the match, putting GBL into the Kartwright Krippler submission. He stretched his arms back so much that GBL had to go to hospital. Kart only let go when when half of WWFG pulled him away! Kartwright decided to visit GBL in December and give him a present to say sorry....a sadistic beat-down. A match with Cyrus in January never even started as Kartwright was at his most manic. He and Angel just decided to beat him down until shockingly, GBL returned and sent them packing to the back! At the Royal Rumble, Kartwright and GBL eliminated each other and at the same event, GBL shockingly eliminated Kartwright in seconds from a Battle Royal for the WWFG Undisputed Championship! The man who was and still is the biggest heel in WWFG was fuming! The King took some time off in Febuary and March to recover from aches and pains as GBL won and defended the IC Title. However, Kartwright returned with a bang in April, cutting a scathing promo on GBL. He claimed GBL hag gone mad and was confused about his feelings on the IC Title he was holding. In May, Kart faced GBL in a tag team match. But history was not allowed to repeat itself. GBL escaped the match without any injuries. Now in their latest meeting, Kartwright is determined to end GBLs reign as IC Champion as he defends the title against him! Wrestlemania GBL vs Kart The End of King KartBonus:: Falling Summer(Pretty much Cart's rematch clause for those wondering if he got one. GBL vs Cart vs Justin vs Kid Omega vs Kyle Dracious vs TysonJed vs Chrono Since July 10, 2009 Jed has been on something of a losing streak. That night of course was the night has faced Marxx and lost his Television title, at the time called the Saints title. After losing that match Jed decide to leave Wrestling. Or thats what everyone thought. Jed ended up returning later and attacking Harli. Before that match happen Jed revealed that in his contract he could have a title match any time or any where. This was the beginning of what he called the mission against politicks. This was the first time in EEW that Chrono and Jed looked at each other in person. Chrono came out because was talking about beat "The EEW gods!" Jed faced KJ Newfoundland in a match that could have been match of the night. Jed lost against KJN after interference from Emily. Next show ended up trying to explain himself, but Harli was done talking. Jed ended up also facing Angel in one of EEW longest matches in history, but also what many say Match of the night. Jed lost this match but put on a great show. Watch the match and you'll probably agree. (17 pages so might take you a while.) Next show Jed did a promo showing a sign of EEW managements politicks as he talked about Marxx and the television title match. Jed was told he was facing Johnathan Riker for the first time ever. In that same promo Jed said. "Riker. This match has been in the making for since I debuted here in EEW. And Tonight. I will not try to earn your respect. You will try to earn mine. Because no matter what politics happen here. I am the Bar in Professional Wrestling in this world. I am the man that can have a five star match with a broomstick. I am the man of Matter. Wait I am Matter. And This Matter Is Above Politics!"Jed lost that match against Riker by the Blackout. Again people say that this match was one of the best matches on the card. It also helped that Riker is a very accomplished wrestler, and current world champion. Jed also was part of a fatal four way match. Finally after all the build up, run ins, kidnapping, and promos Jed faced Harli in a TLCart match. After the match Jed ended up doing a promo. "I don't...I do not know what to say. " Jed paused for a second before looking back down making sure the camera could not catch his face. "I guess. I have to say..That....I am beaten. " Jed kept looking down as the crowd celebrated. " Well I think that I am no longer capable to hold off anymore. " Jed paused just breathing slowly. " Politics. You win!" Jed looked up while dragging the ice pack from his neck. Jed dropped the ice pack before looking straight at the camera. The camera zoomed in on Jed's face in which he was crying and not sweating. "Later in the main event Jed decided to do something about his losing streak. Sure he had probably more match of the nights, but Jed need more. So he finally did something about it. "So tonight it will be Jed vs Chrono For the First Time Ever in Extreme Entertainment Wrestling!!"
Jed said this thinking while raising his hand to whip his head and air out of his eyes.
" But you see -"
Jed with his right hand free yanked a 9 millimeter from under his dress shirt that wasn't tucked in and he went randomly to shoot Chrono in the upper body."
Jed showed up the next show with the EEW world title. He said he is the official champion, but three other people had something else to say about that. This certain promo was the highest rating EEW had gotten in a long time. In that promo it was announced that Jed would face 2.0., Marxx, and Johnathan Riker. Jed lost yet again. The next burn show was the first time Chrono was seen since the gun shot. Chrono said "Face me, or Jail.. " So as long as he gets a match with Jed, EEW will not be charged. On that show Jed faced Bounty and Jarel. Jed tried to leave, but Chrono stopped him before he could run. The next show Jed faced Deigo Alva for the first time ever. Jed ended up bouncing back from that terrible losing streak to beat him. Before that match it was announced that Jed was going to be temporary Gm of Burn. The next show Jed was in most of the segments, but two stick out the most. One being Yuke, Harli, and Chrono being arrested. The other being one of Jed's biggest match in EEW. Jed vs Riker II!!! Jed gave it his all, but was not able to win the EEW world title. Then something strange happen after the match! "After the bell Riker was spent and was really unable to keep the Blackout locked after the bell like he usually would, and released the hold. He rolled Jed off of him, and slowly got to his knees. The Ref handed Riker his title, he took it but was too tired to really celebrate. With what strength he had left he crawled over to the ropes and began to use them to help him get to his feet. By that time Jed was starting to come to, slowly moving on the mat, trying to figure out what happened, he was sure the AMC connected but had blacked out, so he's memory was a bit foggy. He then noticed the crowd cheering and Riker's music playing, the only logical conclusion Jed could come to.. Riker had pulled one out of his hat. Jed got to his knees and noticed Riker standing next to the ropes using them to help him keep himself up. With what strength Jed had, he used the ropes closest to him, and got to his feet, holding his neck from the pain of Riker's arms squeezed around his throat. Breathing heavily, and a bit stumbly, Jed made his way over to Riker. He grabbed Johnathan shoulder and spun him around, staring him dead in the face. Riker stared back, unsure if Jed was really wanting to still go. That was until...
Jed outstretched his hand to Riker, and removed the hand from his throat. Could it be? Jed actually had some decency in him to show some sportsmanship after a clear loss? Riker wasn't sure and still with the throat of Jed's actions at Carnage Rulez still fresh in his mind he didn't care. He simply stared at Jed's hand, and then at his eyes. Then without even a nod or shake of the head, Riker dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring, making his assent up the ramp. The camera panned in on Jed as the program faded to black, ending EEW's Burn. "Has Jed changed? Jed lately has been less aggressive in matches, and been showing some respect to others. Maybe since losing so much he has learned a lesson. Lets just hope Jed doesn't let up on Chrono in there match. Who will win? Jed or Chrono? The Bar in Professional Wrestling or The God of Time? Matter or Time? One Night Stand 2010 OpeningChrono vs Jed One Night Stand 4 - Extreme Church Relaxed Match Check the thread and you can see the past two matches from ONS 2(Harli) and ONS 3(Marxx). Also in the last post, I added something a little highlights of a few moves. Shanahan/Phoenixfire vs Landry (Check Landry's Post) Match of the Year GCW Last match.
