Sedrick Rekt
The Drunken Cat
Nobody

Sedricks Theme

Sedrick's ears flattened as he felt the sound of shattering glass boom within his head, his arms raised as the glass fell, the women that he was expecting to leave before things got worse was still there, by his side. He didn't understand it, why would anyone wish to stay within the midst of this combat, especially with all the glass, fluid, and ice that was flying around the bar. the glass fell down from the collisions, luckily there wasn't a strong enough direction from the glass to cause the glass to pierce the flesh upon falling. As it hit Sedrick's arms the glass would either bounce or slide off from his furred body, he would then, as the glass stopped for the one moment, a pawed hand gently placed within the women's offering one. He would raise to his full height before his ears caught the sound of the door slamming open. Those Blue pools gazing towards the direction to see a man covered in armour, upon the shield, a crest of the city, this was the worst place to be for refugee's at this point.

As he heard the words from the guard, his body remained still, a hand still within the woman's as he would wait to hear some sort of banter, obviously the crowd here would not simply go, this much was obvious, even to a tipsy Cat man. He then heard Trevor bellow out with a notion, blaming the demonic woman of the out break. This would be true in a lot of cases, but really Sedrick knew Trevor held equal blame, no matter how he would try to pin the blame elsewhere. the demon then threw in her own point, it sounded rather fair really, but this was cut short, as the sound of something leaping from over head, the cat man looked up as he noticed the small Halfling from before, lunging towards the guard. Sedricks brows and ears dropped as though his face was melting from his skull. Things were only going to go from bad, to worse. His hand gripped the girls more tightly, as he readied himself to make a move or for her to as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

((Sorry for the wait, here comes the next post))

Guardsman,
Valiant Protector,
Insignificant.

the guard quickly grew tired of the bickering that was taking place, the citizens already flooded from the building, through the opening the guard presented behind him, the constant sound of feet beating against the wooden floor meant he still paid no mind to the body of the zombie. His eyes peered out from the helmet as the dwarf instantly pointed the blame upon the demon, his hand gripping the sword's sheath, readying it to be drawn. The Demon then spoke, bringing up a good point but the Guard was in no mood to argue, he would go to raise his voice one more time but then his eyes caught that of the flying Halfling.

To the guard this must have been some form of resistance, he then raised his should in front of himself, allowing his eyes from within the helmet to peer towards the flying body, it wasn't hard to notice, considering the halfling would of been the only movement that was sudden and shifty. The halfling would collide with the shield, as the guard had braced himself, but no to the best of his abilities he was knocked back slightly, as he did so he flung his shield out from his body, launching the halfling towards the door frame. as a result of such a spin from the impact he almost lost balance as he then pulled his sword from its sheath raising it high into the air as he did so the visor of his helmet raised, as he bellowed as loudly as he could. "FOR RIVERRUN!!" As he bellowed this, it'd warn the others guards beyond the door that the halfling was attempting to flee through.

Right now the guard almost seemed oblivious of the people he was once inspecting and completely focused upon that of the halfling.

(Hahaha, Pav has just jumped into the fire. Go hafling need to start a huge brawl!)

Pav felt the metal of the shield, his hand instictivly catching the rim, his other uselessly still reaching to stab the man. This moment was not long, as the gaurd flung him aside with ease, causing the small being to clash with the door frame. Luckly it was his head, though this left him disoriented, he was inside rather then out with the other guards. Instead, the halfling spun around inside the frame, skidding against the floor and wall on his knee. His head was bleeding, his dagger hafing flew off somewhere in the croud. At the time he had no idea where, but if he forgets it there will be hell to pay later, but he couldn't even comprehend that right now. There was to much of a thob in his head, a loud ringing and the room was spinning to much. "Weakness! How dare you call out magic in a fight of trickory!" he called out at the knight, obviously ranting about nothing.

Pav atempted a stand, staggering before the gaurd. He could not yet see eveything as it was, nor could he understand much beyond his head hurt, but luckly his body took over. His consious mind was soon blind to all around him, his eyes faded, as he was left to basic reactions that he could pull with out thinking. The halfling was running of nothing but instinct and reaction. The knight was no longer in battle with a being of that which resembled man, no it would be more of a fight with a beast, and this beast could do more then just claw and bite. The small body now seemed much more fluid, his arms and legs seeming just on the edge of being limp. It was no mear special ability that did this, rather the halflings one strive to live, a stive that was berriued so deep inside his soul, that it came out as such, as he would not falter once in a state of pure being.

(For those who do not understand, halflings are neturaly persistan in the need to survive situations[rorek, I bet you most of all can atone to that] Pav himself has that need to live more then most halflings. He has this need so much so that it is imbeaded deep within his mind itself, and so he can react in a way that will save him, even when he can't think straight. This idea is based of real world facts on the human body, through I am gonna streach it's limitations abit because he is halfling and this is riverrun. Don't expect it to last long.)

Guardsmen
Longshot Slacker
Distinguished

In the streets stood two guards of Riverrun, both just outside of the Three heroes Tavern. One fellow was a tall bloke who stood at 6 foot 3 inches and wore a light vest of chainmail, a veil around his head and neck, only leaving his eyes to be seen, a pair of blue shorts, blue sandals and wielded a large Bow and Quiver upon his back. The Guards large ears and slim body would give away that he was of an Elf species, his bright skin would most likely make him a High-Elf. This Guard appeared to be in top physical form, his stance was somewhat passive, slouched back, arms crossed and head tilted back as he looked up into the sky with his green eyes and followed every cloud that went by. "So how do you think rookie is gettin' along" The relaxed Guard would speak, as he continued to stare into the clouds.

Disruptive Priest
Distinguished

The other Guard would stand at 5 foot 5 inches, and appeared to be a short Human, he didn't quite have the muscles or stout features of a dwarf. This Guard wore a very large emblem around his neck, in the shape of an apple, this was a symbol of a God which several cultures would regard as Chaotic. The apple was to represent the God of Gluttony, who craves more of everything, food, knowledge, power, land and pretty much anything which can be fought over. Now the Guard himself, was a rather fat man; following the God of Gluttony would kind of make this a trait among his followers, his face was un-shaven and dirty, his hair was long and full of filth, his finger and toe nails were un-kept. This Guard would give off a pure image of disgust, from his smell to the aura he gave off. The only thing upon this man that was clean was the Emblem which hang from his neck and his armor, which looked very well looked after. He wore a long priests robe under a rather heavy chestplate, his shins and thighs were covered by a shining set of steel leggings. The Fat Guard would look towards the relaxed Elf and speak "Bah! i'm sure his good will and loving approach will get them all to come out with there hands up..." Suddenly a loud 'Thud' would be heard coming from the entrance of the pub, along with the guards Cry "For Riverrun!" Suddenly the Relaxed Elf and Fat Guard would both stand up tall and look towards the entrance of the pub

"Oh no..." The relaxed Elf would state, then let a small sigh release from his lips as he reached over his back for his bow.

"Oh yes!" The fat Guard would exhale as he reached for his weapon...Which appeared to be absolutely nothing, his fists clenched he would move quickly towards the Pub's entrance.

The two Guards would move up behind the Guard who had all ready entered the pub and bashed a halfing around a little, well so it seemed. The Fat Guard would then speak "Come with us and we won't hurt you...Well I might bwhahaha" The fat Guard would then run at the first person he saw, with his right fist reeled back behind him, the person he happened to run towards was Hara, and as he got close he would fling his entire body weight and his right arm up and over himself and smash the poor un-expecting girl. This punch would send her head smashing into the pubs hard ground, knocking her out instantly ((Was asked by Ajwonder to do this as she will be out for a while considering she has exams Etc So no stopping the fat Guards attack)) The Fat Guard would then take a skillful roll to one side, avoiding anyone else from hitting him without him having a chance to dodge.

The skinny Relaxed Archer would sigh and hold his bow pointed at the Water Demon, he would know a magic user when he saw one. Then his ears would twitch and his eyes would quickly scan the entire room before he spoke "Who ever is hiding please come out peacefully...I can't be assed to fight today..." The Archer could sense people within the building, allowing him to know how many there is in the building, but not where they were too. So this pub fight had now turned into a full force stand off.

Maria siently slipped down the stais keeping quiet and just staying in the light. Watches as everyone else gets nerverous and agitated. "Well this is a turn of events" , says to self not loud enought for anyone else to hear. Nods her head to the officer signaling that she comes freely unlike some on the others. Puts both swords back up and bends down to pet her wolf. "Girl its gonna be a long night you ready for it", says to her pets as she barks a reply.

There was a loud crack and pop down the street near the tavern where a girl had appeared out of thin air. The girl was 5ft 7in tall, long cherry red hair in pigtails, she was thin but fit, she had big golden eyes, she was wearing a white shirt with her leather mini skirt with suspenders, over it she wore a ruby coat with golden lining, and she had a pair of knee high steel toe stiletto boots. The girl ran to the nearest bush, the sound of loud hurling could be heard as she threw up. Dulce looked up and dipped her head back down as she threw up. No matter how many times she did it, she could never get used to phasing. Jessie said that as she continues to do it she would get use to it, yeah right. She then took a rag from her coat pocket and wiped her mouth with it. She looked around, she hoped she was in the right place but couldn’t see any signs that indicated her whereabouts.
She hoped she was in the right place this time, it had been two years that she had been researching and locating the destination of Riverrun, and after investigating she was in the wrong location it left her disappointed. Which was bad news, it meant she was running out of time.
She started to walk down the street to find someone to ask her location, when she turned the corner to her left she noticed what appeared to be a pub. Though she was only 14 years old, many other places she had gone to were different, so it was a possibility that she could enter. Besides it was grand luck, a tavern meant there were people drinking, meaning there were drunks and tipsy people, and it meant loose tongues. She read the name from afar “Three Hero Tavern. I wonder, what’s the story behind that name?” She started to get closer and then heard the chaos that was happening in the pub. “It seems like I arrived at a chaotic moment. Sounds like a pub brawl going on.” She stayed outside near the entrance leaning against the wall. “I wonder how this will play out in the end and what this is all about.” She stayed near to see if she could hear any information and enter when he had calmed down.

A dark figure came from the north, walking the street, nursin his hand. He had met a kind man on his trip here, threatening him so he fixed up Irra's hand. It wasn't the best work he had seen, but it did the job better then he himself could have done. The drow looked down at the grards that stood in the door of the bar he had heard so much about. From the looks of things, he had just managed upon a fight, well it was probly normal for this place. He had no need to join in. It was beneath him, and he was already lowering himself by gracing this trash with his precence.

But, his eye was not kept by the bar for long, His sence of his own kind glew, as the magic with in the other drow on the street was in his sight. It did not look right though. She wasn't quite a drow like himself. He looked at her, his eyes delving deep into her arua seeing what she was. An anger rose in him, his racial being having a need to be against such a being. She was no drow, she couldn't be. She was a dark elf, a disgrace against his entire being. The rage grew, and he cast out his power.

"Dark elf! You are no being of my kind!" He held out his hands, casting out fairy fire against himself. A flame grew on him, srung to life on his arms, and across his shoulders, casting out a dim light in the street. "I will rid the world of your kind myself, for I will have no such disgrace in my kingdom!" The flame grew larger, the blue light flickering over the street. He stared down the dark elf, ready to fight her to the death.

As she waited outside for the brawl inside the tavern to calm down so that she could enter, Dulce’s heart locked had started to glow a bright red. She was still trying to understand how it worked because half the time it seemed to acted on its own. She then sense a warmth consume her whole body, she raised her hand up and could feel the warmth of the phoenix halo, which meant something was wrong or something was bound to happen. She had not been paying attention to her surroundings and was daydreaming as she waited. If her teacher were to ever find out, she knew she was going to get the whooping of her life that was if she didn’t get one now.
As she looked around her eyes landed on a male drow, her heart sank. She had no idea that this world had dark drows, but then again maybe it was different here. Maybe fledglings were accepted, she was about to approach the man, and then she notice the contours of his face had change. It had gone from curiosity to disgust and then to absolute anger. Nope they weren’t that different here whatsoever, half drows were still viewed as a virus that had to be eradicated. Why did this always happen to her?
She watched as the man’s arms ignited in flames. Her large golden eyes read this male drow’s aura and what she saw was not good. He was evil, a full blood drow, and powerful. She was nowhere near his level in magical skills, hell the reason she was here was to get trained in her fire element. She just started her physical combat training two years ago and was given approval by the royal drow court in her home world to be trained, but the deal was she had to take the examination at the age of eighteen if she didn’t pass she had to be put to death. It became obvious someone really wanted her died.
Dulce took a stance of combat, she either would have to fight to the best of her ability or run like a bat out of hell. “Oi! I’m not from your kingdom or from this world exactly?! I don’t even know where I am? Can you just please tell me?” She prayed for reason but thought highly against it.

Irradinstra caught himself befor making attack. His racial nature to hate this woman was quickly supressed, as he found what she said to be true. She was Drow, but not like he was, or like lesser drow. She also wasn't a dark elf, though he could see the good in her. He had to play this to his advantage, and pushed away his arua's sence of evil, making him seem to instead have his own moral values, as a neutral being. He smiled, casting off his flames, as they died down. If she was a drow, she would be of use to him. As a noblle drow, her natural power would be a great asset to him. As a lesser drow, well everyone needs pawns to win the battle.

His complete dimenor changed, as a slight smile fell upon him. He cast from himself that spell suggestion, as he could naturaly do. Though it was him speaking to her mind, it would sound to her more like her own commensence guidding her. 'This is a bad idea to fight him. I should forgive him. He seems to have stopped himself and rid himself of what ever problem he may have had, probly racism. I probly do look like a lesser drow to him. Maybe I should see if he could help me.'

Irra stepped forward, almost taking time to plan out each step. His eyes never left the female drow, completely blocking out all that was happenign in the bar. He felt this woman would become his first 'comrad.' "My appologies my lady. Many who are 'the norm' of my people find your kind those who should be removed from the world. Though I try to keep myself from that ideal, it is such a strong hate that it is burried into being. I hope you don't mind. I will keep it under control from now on." His smile was sweet and kind, not that of an evil man.
PostPosted: Sat May 29, 2010 7:48 pm

Dulce was a bit shock as her eyes watched this drows whole aura change from hostile to sociable. She could hear a voice in her mind, it sounded like her conscious, but she knew better. Though she was a fledgling half drow, most magical spells had little effect on her. Seeing that not many Halflings were not allowed to live, no one knew the full capacity of what her kind could do. Dulce relaxed her figure a bit and watched how the man before her calmed down. But she didn’t trust him, her eyes had seen the evil in his drow, but that wasn’t uncommon that all true blooded drow’s were evil; though her mother was a different case entirely.

Dulce watched as the man approached her, her phoenix halo still at play to protect her. She notice that his eyes had the sense of curiosity, it made her uneasy as if she was something he had never seen before, and she wonder if ever did talk to one. When he called her ‘my lady’ she looked around confused and realized it was her. “Ummm…It’s alright. I get it all the time; it is sort ‘norm’ reaction I get for being a Halfling. I just didn’t know there were other Drows in other worlds and that beliefs are very similar.” She took a deep breath and ran her fingers through her bangs, she had to be on her toes here.

“Maybe you can help me though. I don’t know where I am and I still haven’t seen a sign telling me. I sort of just phased here without knowing.” She wondered if it was wise to tell this man any information about herself, but it was rude not to introduce oneself. She did a proper curtsy and said in a very political voice said “Allow to introduce myself, my name Princess MiaDulce Mari Angel of Amordor from the world of Teodor.” She then stood up and smiled kindly “But you may call Dulce or D.”

He seemed such a calming becon now, nothing as he had only momments before. Irra did a slight incline to her, on arm over his waist in his bow. "I would not dream of ruining such a name with a simple slogan Madam Miadulce. It is most a pleasure to meet you." He gestured his hand to take hers, a customary kiss of the fingers, a not of respect from a male drow to a female. He made sure no to give off he was trying to hard, as he looked up at her, his smile eased slightly. His eyes no longer stuffing her.

His words were soft anf kind to the ear, as though a song blessed the world, "I am Irradinstra Helvindar, a luck choosen of our god Loth as her noble, thought you could say I am one of her more 'looked down upon' children." He straightened up before letting himself go on, "And yes, we drow exist here, Loth's reach is of such graet vastness she probly touches all planes." He lost his smile at the second mention of loth, seeming more content with the fact that she existed.

"You said you were a halfling, but you can not be of the hobbits. They are much smaller and do not posses our magical strife, but you are much diffren from any Drow I have seen. Not even a dark elf is as odd as you Madam Miadulce."
PostPosted: Mon May 31, 2010 1:32 pm

Dulce raised an eyebrow she wasn’t use to this kindness from another drow. She looked up at him as he spoke and listen to him carefully. So were ever she was the drows here too had a royal court, and he was a nobleman. It sparked her curiosity she had to admit, from two different places and yet the same beliefs? Then she heard what he was saying and she couldn’t help but giggle. She had been described as an abomination, a virus, and some other unmentionables, but odd had to be a new one.

“I’m sorry Irradinstra for laughing, it just I had never been described as odd. It’s sweet of you to say that really considering all other names I have been called. Also allow be to explain by ‘halfing’, no I am not a hobbit.” Actually to her knowledge she didn’t know what one was or if she had ever seen one. “I’m a half drow and half phoenix demon, my mother was a full blooded royal drow who married my father.” Her demeanor went dark with the mentioning of her father. “My mother sacrificed her life for me…” Her hands bald up to very tight fists, she would never allow her mother’s death go in vain.

She sighed and relaxed completely, her halo disappearing. “So, Irradinstra, you still haven’t answered me, where am I exactly? It is sort of important for me to know.”

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame grasped the felines hand and watched the scene take place. She, herself would have been out of there by then but for some reason she was really interested in the feline she was currently with. She didn't want him injured and she really didn't want to leave him there. She always had a thing for cats.

Lowering her gaze she watched the tension in the room go from bad to worse, who knew people could be so dumb as to attack someone of much higher status, even she knew her limits. She grasped his hand a bit tighter as the guards attention went fully on the halfling that was attacking him. She shifted when the man bellowed out, "FOR RIVERRUN," the sound of the mans booming voice hurt her sensitive ears and made her cringe.

Glancing at Sedrick she wondered vaguely if they would get out of there before the fighting estimated to something unbearable where she would have to unwind her whip or release her fangs.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

Golden eyes turned towards the archer, his armor resting plainly before her as she gave a twitch of her ears, watching him though she did not lower her guard. The water continued to swirl about her though of course if she did, it would simply let it drop about her, easy enough.

Twisting her hand, curling her fingers a bit as she reduced her shield, letting it slowly slide, curling it around her as it twisted, condencing a bit as it slid, forming a grasp in her hand as it took the form of a whip, freezing the handle to make it more firm of a grip to hold onto, though the rest remained in liquid form though it kept it's form.

Giving a shrug of her shoulders, she kept her hand resting on her staff, her head tilting it towards the elf, she was silently telling him she was lowering her weapon, though clearly she was not willing to completely disarm herself entirely. Her stature was rather relaxed which was rather surprising for such a passive stance at this point in time.

"I simply want to know what I'm being arrested for," she said calmly to the guard, this little brawl was drawing far more attention then she had anticipated as she gave a small sigh. This was far too troublesome at this point and she wasn't going to let them put all of this on her shoulders, after all there was nothing wrong with simply expression her small desire for a bit of silence while she rested, escaping the heat of the day.

Irradinstra took a momment of thought, searching his memory of the planes. He quickly cast mage hand, using it to help his focus. He then cast mirror image and prestidigitation, making a map of the planes. He pointed to the flat world Riverrun. His speech seemed slow, as he was looking though his mind for more information, "We are here, in this world, where Riverrun is. This is infact the main city of Riverrun..." He looked at her, walking to her, carrying the map in his hand, as it floated around on his palm. "Does that help any?"
