Zev casually walked around to the back entrance, not even fussed if he looked a mess from his previous job, beggars can't be choosers. He knew full well what he was going to get from the owner the second he went in late "'Why are you late? You know that your shift is the one where we get busy cause that's when everyone finishes there day work, we need every person possible if we are to see to everyone and keep everything in order. We have a reputation to keep up you know' I never hear the end of that blasted rant about our reputation. If she is so worried about it she should be the one to serve the drinks and not me...." Zev had just finished a monster problem, it should of been a small one he could of got over and done with fast and just simply get paid but there were.....complications.

He entered the back door and quickly stashed his equipment out of way, he was allowed to keep his daggers on him though in case trouble brewed. That didn't happen a lot though, this tavern was a very civil one, sure occasionally they got the odd angry drunk; or the drunk who couldn't even stand and had people had to help him on his way. But other than that it was an ordinary tavern job. Many people would say he was lucky to be working at this particular tavern though, cause its "The Three Heroes Tavern", its placed in names of the three main hero's who saved Riverrun. Zev didn't know much about the Riverrun history due to his missed education, who the heroes are and what they did; did peak Zev's curiosity to an extent. But not enough to care much, unfortunately most of the people who came to the tavern had heard rumours, stories, legends, you name it they would tell it as long as at least 1 of the 3 heroes were involved in it.

To be polite and because it was part of his job description he had to listen and in most cases take part in conversations people had at the bar, luckily he could get away and have a conversation with someone about something he actually knew about. As he finished making himself presentable for work and as he was tying his hair back all he heard was "ZEV!!!!!" He gave a sigh as he placed his headband in black in place and his boss came storming in the back, of course everyone else decided to say well out of it, but they could not help themselves into having a sneaky look at the boss scolding him. Some of the employees would secretly hope for a fight to break out, but most of the time they would have to go disappointed.

"Hey boss, yeah I know I'm late and I'm sorry. My latest job ran a bit longer than I planned, did you know that wild boar can be---" The boss tried to land a hit at the top of his head but he moved out of the hit range with a sidestep, "I don't give a damn about boar! Geez....We are getting busy and we have 2 people off tonight; so that means you have to work like 3 men, understood!?" Zev gave a sigh as he nodded his head, which his boss now knew as a "yeah whatever" kinda response. His boss was never normally like this, she must be getting stressed.

Zev came to his normal position behind the bar, but just as he came through one of the guys who were new to the place ran up to him in a rush, "Zev, I really need a break man it's getting ridiculous in here. Could you please cover for me if the boss comes asking for me. I will only be 15 minutes I swear!" Zev grabbed boys apron and tired it around one of the hems of his belt, "Remember, 15 minutes only. I won't cover for you after those minutes are up." the lad gave a smile and a nod in response as he made his way for the back entrance. "At this rate these new guys won't last more than a few weeks, with the amount of breaks they need."

Zev started his shift as normal, people asking for whiskeys, vodka's and the occasional cider, he noticed one of the guys who had been here just a bit shorter than himself was being swamped on one side of the bar, and seeing his own side was pretty quite for the time being he decided to go help. "Hey, you need a hand?" "Oh Zev, great timing. I can handle everything here, but there's a lady there who is asking for just water." "Water?" "Yeah I know don't even ask why she's asking for water in the tavern but I don't have the time to do it, can I leave that to you?" "Sure" the first thought that came to Zev as he was on his way to get the drink was ~Too busy? Too busy getting drunk with the customers buying you drinks more like. And we're only an hour into opening~

He made his way back to the bar, and he was more right than he had ever been. He saw his 'assistant helper' drinking and laughing it up with his friends. If he kept up at this rate he will be sacked soon enough. Zev knew which girl it was. she was the only young looking girl at the bar itself and she also had fox like ears so it was kinda hard not to spot her. He made his way over and placed the drink in front of her. He decided to put on his 'work smile' so he would seem more friendly to the customers. "Here you go. Sorry my fellow bartender couldn't serve you, as you can see he's kinda....occupied." he said with a smile but also hinting towards the direction his fellow worker was in. At that moment in time he was trying to down a pint of larger against one of his friends and was doing an appalling attempt at it as well. "By the way don't worry about paying for the drink, water is everywhere, no need to pay for the stuff right?" He said giving another smile towards her, he was kinda relieved though. once he put his 'work smile' on he couldn't get it off for several hours so people won't be intimidated by him until near closing time now.

Hara walked through the door of the three hero’s tavern she looked around and saw the loud banter of jolly drunk Men. She wished she had picked another place to have a drink but she really needed one after working all day. Usually she wouldn’t come to public places to drink she prefers to sit at home and drink her Rum alone away from all the staring eyes. But as she drank the last drop last night sending her off to sleep she needed to find somewhere to drink until the night ended she walked over to the bar and tried to look over the top but as she was so small it made it difficult. She saw a stall and decided to try and scramble onto the high stools. As she reached the top of the chair and sat comfortably she pulled the rifle off her back and placed it on her lap. She held it there to make sure no one bothered her and she didn’t like the idea of having her weapon out of her site in a public place.

"Triple shot of rum...” she said it quietly as she hadn’t talked to anyone for so long and she didn’t want to draw attention to herself.
"Triple shot of rum...please" she repeated herself again as she was very shy but louder this time, in a normal talking voice. Still no one heard her she began to get angry and she griped her rifle tightly in both hands. On top of her anger all she heard was the load laughing of drunken men at the other end of the bar. Hara began to grinded her teeth together as the anger built up inside of her. In one swift movement she pulled her rifle up and aimed it at the man holding a glass bottle and shattered it into a million pieces. The whole tavern went quiet and she put the gun on her lap still griping it tightly and once again said.
"Triple shot of rum...please."

Holding her hands together between her legs, she looked around quickly a few times, noticing that the place getting packed, even though it was relatively early. Hearing a males voice, she turned to see a new bartender. Hearing the words, she just smiled and nodded, taking the glass in her hand, taking small sip from it. It had been a while since she ever drank water. It was always the juice of the fruit she ate. It was good, and she didn't have to pay for it.

"Ah! Thank you! Usually the other bars charge for water.. which is really redundant... "

She spoke over the loud crowd beside her, looking up towards this man. He was handsome in his own way, and he seemed to be forcing his smile. She blinked a couple times, not wanting to say anything about it. Letting the hand holding the water drop to the counter slowly, she ran her fingers through her long dark hair. She felt her ears coming out again and blushed, fixing them to be hidden underneath the black strands. She didn't like having her ears show out in public. Turning back to the bartender, she smiled and sweat dropped mentally.

"I'm sorry you had to waste your time with a small order like mine... Seems like you guys have a full house tonight."

Zev didn't mind most of the time when it came to strange orders, he had stranger that's for certain. "Hey don't worry about---" but before he finished his sentence a gun shot was heard, and the whole of the bar went quiet. The shot came from a rather unexpected source, this cause his 'work smile' to drop which was not an easy thing to accomplish. The tavern had only opened just over an hour ago, they were busy and someone who had just entered was being this irresponsible. He was a little unsure where the shot had landed, but once he saw is co-workers face and the bottle he 'used' to be holding he was where it had ended up. He had to admit to himself that he was a tad glad it happened to him of all people, rather than a proper paying customer. He turned back to the previous women "Be right back, need to sort this thing out..."

He approached the new women who had entered the tavern in a obscure manner. She seemed young, far to young to be in a Tavern of all places, but he was here to work not to ask questions about who bought the alcohol. She had panda like ears and she seemed to be under 5 ft, she also seemed to be annoyed....probably due to the amount of noise the bar was producing, only just over an hour of opening. Zev had dealt with this kind of people before, they were travellers though and not local, but he was unsure this time around, due to the clothing she was wearing she must either be local or planning to stay for a few weeks.

He glared at her and said "There is no need to be so boisterous this early after a working day" he heard her order again, he gave a small sigh and went to take care of her order. ~Having a strong drink like that first thing, she is obviously trying to forget something wanting a strong drink like that to start...~ He came back and handed the drink down in front of her, he though he might offer a bit of drinking advise, for getting drunk after 1 or 2 strong drinks is not the best way to drink. But it would be entirely up to her if he would take his advise or shove it. "Triple shot of rum....if I might offer some advise..." he was a little uncertain of what her reaction would be, she seemed to be the unpredictable type. "The best way to enjoy your drinking experience is to start of with weaker percentage drinks and slowly work your way up to the stronger stuff like this, at least that's from what I've seen. It's your choice though, just call for me if you need another, but I recommend to go a little easy to start off with..." he said as he made his way back over to the previous customer, "Sorry about that, had to sort out a customer problem" he leaned back a bit on the bar and glanced upwards towards the lights, he didn't know why himself, but it just relaxed him once he dealt with a problem. "By the way if you don't mind my asking...." he then turned his head so the women could see 1/3 of his face "You don't seem to be the kind to come into a place like this much, correct me if i'm wrong though I mean no offence." he was no longer wearing his 'work smile' either. He was now in a neutral status but the 'Aura' which surrounds him he might come across as intimidating, even if he didn't mean to which he didn't.

A Dwarf would fling the door open to the Tavern, causing a load smashing noise...But some reason everyone was being completly silent...So Trevor would feel very un-comfortable, so he would break the Ice "How many Orcs does it take ta screw in a Magic light bulb?!... Two! One ta kill de t'other one ta eat his brains and gain his knowledge so dat he can figure out how ta screw in de magic light bulb! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Now this joke wasn't the best joke in the world, but in such a random situation most of the Pub patrons would start to laugh, causing others to laugh, then the entire pub would start telling each other's jokes, causing the noise to come back again. Trevor would then turn his head back towards Sedrick and speak "Nothin' like a joke ta break de ice, eh?! HAHAHHA!" Trevor would then push his way though the pub again, due to his short and stout feature, and the packback upon his back he wouldn't be able to slide he way past.

When Trevor and Sedrick got to the Bar Trevor would place his bag down on the floor and climb his way up to the bar, he would look to his left then his right, one his left was a empty chair, but on his right was a small little women, with panda ears?! Trevors mouth would nearly hit the floor as he looked at her, staring right in her face and moving closer and closer before speaking "Do Pandas like Milk?" Trevor would then notice the gun on her lap "Bwhahahahaha Why ye got a gun in a place like dis Maid!" Trevor didn't realise the bar-tender was talking to her first, but oh well, and Trevor wouldn't seem to be shy about talking to complete strangers, niether did he mind talking to everyone at once, so he would turn his head back to Sedrick and speak once again "So what ye gettin me eh boy'o?"

Hearing the gun shot, Nami would almost die of a heart attack. She closed her eyes tightly, hearing the bartender go to sort out such a problem. Why the hell would people actually bring a gun to a place like this, so early in the morning as well! She sighed inwardly at the stupidity of some people. Opening her almost permanently shut eyes, she looked towards this woman. Like her, she had animal ears. Wondering why she had shot the gun, her body turned the other way, seeing the glass shattered, and the man just trembling in his shoes. She giggled slightly, hearing the place go back its original state, only under a bit of a hushed tone. The men went back to their drinking and gambling. Hearing the bartender come back, she closed her eyes again, smiling slightly.

"Its fine."

Watching him look up at her only slightly, the light had blurred out the rest of his face, making it seem like she was looking at a movie screen of a horror movie. It chilled her down to her bones. Hearing his question, she pulled a strand of rogue hair back out of her face, feeling slightly awkward at the question. Grasping the glass in front of her, she simply smiled.

"I'm not. No offense taken. I never come into these taverns... I'm lucky if I find myself wanting to come into this town if at all... I must have stuck out like a sore thumb, ordering water like this.."

She laughed slightly, touching her cheek gently, feeling herself blush.

Ame sighed as she walked into the tavern. She passed a couple people talking but said nothing as she made her way slowly to the bar. She sat down and ran her hand though her long blond hair. She glanced around and just sat in the darkest corner of the room before taking a seat. She was planning on continuing her travels after she grabbed at bit to drink. Her fangs pulsated lightly at all the life around her but she ignored it and focused on the task at hand, getting a waiter.

Looking around at all the obvious groups of people and friends she felt a bit well alone sitting in the corner by herself, although she wasn't going to strike up a conversation with anyone she didn't know. Ame twiddled her hair in her fingers as she kept glancing around the room. The groups that were plainly obvious seemed to be bursting with friendship and mutual understanding that she wouldn't know being her race.

Long purple nails scaped against the wooden frame of the door as they slid across the door, stretching to the edge before grasping the knob, turning her slender wrist she slid the door open before pulling it towards herself. Letting the light pour into the darkened atmosphere as she looked about.

Taking her first steps in, her claws lightly tapping against the hard wooden floors, she was somewhat short and seemed rather out of place amongst the company that rested within the Tavern already.

Her short purple hair was whipped across her face as she door slid behind her, creating a current, as it twirled and twisted around large ram-like horns which protruded from her head and were obviously connected firmly to her skull. Right beneath them were long, pointed ears that wiggled every now and then as her golden eyes gazed about the room, her face somewhat expressionless as she walked inside.

Zev found it cute at how the girl was blushing, it happened quite often since he started working here however. Zev’s thoughts seemed to be right when it came to her experience in Taverns and Bars, he didn’t see much of a problem in it, and everyone liked certain things, many people would normally question some of his habits. “I wouldn’t worry about it so much, at least I know which people won’t be causing problems later”. The smile he gave this time was genuine, no force behind it. It was just nice being able to speak to someone who wasn’t a slurring drunk, or someone brought up a 3 heroes legend. He slowly started to notice more and more people were coming in and awaiting orders at the bar, curse his so called ‘work colleagues’ leaving him hanging here, and he knows the lad who asked for help won’t be coming back for a while ~15 minutes my a**, I knew he would be gone longer~ He a gave a small sigh to himself, only loud enough for him to hear.

He could tell he would have to see to the rest of the orders coming in by himself, "Well it was nice having a chat with someone, but I looks like I have to get back to work" he said giving a hint to the rest of the people waiting to get served, "If your still here when I get my break, how about we talk some more?" He could see some of the customers getting annoyed at him still talking "I'll meet you at that table on the other side of the room later, I should get my first break in about an hour." he didn't have time to listen to her response cause by then he had made his way over to the other side of the bar to see to the other customers.

He saw a rather happy go lucky character, he was either small for his age or he was something like a dwarf, next to him he saw a rather large looking feline. He had purple fur and no shirt on, he wasn't going to question peoples dress sense that wasn't what he was meant to do. He leaned forward on the bar and asked both of them, "So what can I get you gentlemen?"

Sedrick Rekt
The Drunken Cat

Sedricks Theme

Sedrick would have walked into the bar with Trevor, as he stepped through the door he breathed in deeply before slowly exhaling. This sort of atmosphere said "home" to Sedrick, even if there was a strange silence when they entered it didn't seem to phase him. He would be looking around as Trevor made the joke, it soon came to his realization that he was just that kind of guy so he wouldn't be so up tight for a while. He would soon notice upon their way to the bar that there was a panda woman and a fox woman as well at the bar, he felt somewhat strange to be within the area of what he would consider as Kin. He would watch as Trevor took a stool for himself, noticing a vacant one next to him Sedrick would place both hands upon the bar stool and leap, placing his exposed feet upon the stool with his hands, it was strange but he felt sort of excited, being his first time within this environment.

Sedrick would be slightly looking towards the other two females present, his left ear twitching slightly as his eyes seemed to be more filled with curiosity and excitement. He then heard Trevor speak to him as Sedrick's ears perked towards the dwarf, his eyes quickly shifting to greet the man. "Ah, I get it, first round on me? You getting the next one then." He would have noticed the male conversing with the Kitsune and he couldn't place his finger on it, but he felt somewhat of a presence, as though the man was releasing some dreadful aura, it gave him the urge to back away. Sedrick's pupils narrowed into slits as he focused upon the male for a moment, his mind racing with possibilities of what kind of entity he would be, ears perked, listening to any sound that he could.

His ears would suddenly shift at the sound of the door opening, his body turning as he still gripped the stool with his hands and feet, it was a young looking female. Human if he was to guess, blond locks and a rather innocent feel to her, not the sort of person you'd see walking around, or even into a bar on their own. He was about to shrug it off when the door opened yet again, another female? This one with a head of purple strands and two rather large and obvious horns, her outfit certainly flattered her body, Sedrick would soon turn back towards the bar. He didn't mind if the two noticed his soft blue pools gazing at them, Hell, it might even make things a little more interesting to have more people to converse with.

This then reminded him of his Dwarven comrade, judging from his goods that Sedrick helped to pack he was a farmer of sorts, which slightly peaked his curiosity, why would a dwarf with such dull skin be on the surface, He thought that was a trait more for the dwarfs that remain underground. He shrugged it off before he would answer the Dwarfs Question. "Hm, not sure what you'd like, how about the taverns classic Ale? He stated before he realized the man with the strange aura before him, for some reason this caused Sedrick's fur to almost stand on end before he realized he was taking their order. "Oh, the taverns classic Ale and the Classic Cider for me thanks." He would usually go for spirits but he felt like he would try the usual drinks before trying anything too hard. he would pull out his small pouch of coppers as he pulled out roughly what it cost for the two, he guessed around 6-8 coppers, considering the location and depending upon the quality of the Drinks.

Ame Tenshi

For those who think and those who know,
There is always a danger,
A danger beyond all comprehension,
So to be idle and wait a while would be a new kind of detention,

Ame's soft blue eyes looked around the room until they landed on a man. He looked like a large feline and oh did she love cats. She did a small wave when she noticed him see her before she turned her gaze away again. She hummed lightly as she listened intently to the hustle and bustle of the tavern. She was not used to such places of noise and mischief but it intrigued her as to why so many people would sit around to tell stories and get drunk. She shook her head again and turned her gaze back on the cat like man. Her fingers itched to pet him for a reason unknown to her.

Her fingers played idly with the hem of her dress before she looked around for a moment before standing. She worked her way slowly toward the bar. She was quite thirsty and definately wanted a drink. Her parched throat craved blood but her body decided that a little liquor would do nicely for now. She made her way behind the feline like male and sat down on one of the bar stools. Her fingers now played idly with her hair.

She smiled faintly as her fingers continued to itch to touch the other. She wondered faintly if he would even mind if she touched it. If it were her she would hate people coming up to touch her all the time, but he might be different. Her energy gently seeped out and touched his lightly. She got a feel for the other for a moment before she turned away from him and pulled her energy back. To her he felt like he was neutral in most aspects with a bit of a how to put it chaotic side. She smiled a bit more she loved a little chaos in her life.

So to be in the dark,
Is to be alive for a new start,
Don't be naive and think to part,
For we will once again be placed in danger.

Although the sound was faint--the jingling of a cat's bell, as if one that rested upon the chest of a cat that was located at the base of it's collar--but the golden bell was actually rather large. However, it did still rest at the base of a black collar that encircled the slender neck of the young demon.

Her somewhat curvacious body was somewhat displayed her her black attire, though some would consider it skimpy, the demon world was often on the warmer side and such clothing was only natural. Of course here everything was so different, what's teh matter, had they never seen anyone with horns before?

Her golden eyes shifted about the room, taking in the various looks she got from its' occupants. Seemed like such an odd camaraderie, but for the meantime, it was working out just fine.

Going against her natural instinct to eavesdrop, at least blatantly for the time being, she moved forward, wandering farther into the tavern as she wound her way through the various empty tables and chairs before finally reaching one she liked. Drawing out the chair, she sat down, sticking her feet out as she rested them ontop of the seat of the chair opposite to her own from beneath the table. Her arms crossed in front of her as she leaned backwards, the seat having a low backrest she figided for a moment or two before finally finding a comfortable position to reside in.

Trevor would laugh as Sedrick said he was buying the next round, not because it was a joke but because he liked the cats 'spunk' "Bwhahahah! Too right for ya boy'o! Aye Ale sounds like de ting' fa me!" Trevor would then look towards the bartender, He had seen many things in Riverrun, but someone who gave off an aura? Trevor would suddenly lose his happy fortitude and stare at the bartender...Trevor now looked to be in a very aggresive stance, his shoulders broad and his arms tensed. He disliked evil, nothing good came from it...Litrally. Then he would look into the mirrior behind the bar...A Demon! What was this city coming to. Trevor would then wait for his pint, as he grumbled to himself "Bloody Demons...Shouldn't be aloud to even step near Riverrun...Where be de massive mob huntin' dem down" Trevor would be grumbling to himself, but anyone with good ears would be able to hear him.

Trevor would then look back towards Sedrick, he didn't even know what he was like, maybe he was evil aswell! Maybe every one was after Trevor... So Trevor would question Sedrick...but not being the smart type Trevor would just come out with it "Ye not Evil be ye!" Trevor would then look across to him and stare him down, this calm and happy Dwarf turned out to be a slight Racist agaisnt Demons or other evil creatures, but this was just because of his Farm being attacked by orcs..The reason that he was so 'Racist' as the simple fact that Evil scared him, and he was brought up to believe that they were evil.

Unable to really withdraw, of course she had heard the lowly spoken comment as she gave a bit of a sigh, her ears twitched sightly as she withdrew her legs, resting her elbows heavily upon the table, by the second, more bold comment, she could tell it wasn't directed towards her, her head shifted to the side as she glanced towards the petty dwarf, the various fok who resided at the bar's counter.

Far too close for comfort if they dared to ask her, especially the odd one who stretched out her hand to pet the cat. Shaking her head she muttered lowly under her breath, "humans..."

She decided to remain silent at this point in time but she wasn't one for just sitting around either. She hadn't even asked for a drink yet.
