Huruma's nothing like either of her parents were when they were young. She's bouncy and curious about everything and isn't afraid of anything that she knows of. She likes to sing little songs she makes up and pounce her sisters when they're not paying attention.
But she has her quiet moments where she'll sit patiently beside her mother, learning how to appreciate silence or bouncing by her father's side as she learns what he can teach her and warn her about. She a daddy's girl, often found trailing behind Harabu.
She has an adventurous streak in her and is always wanting to go exploring.

While playing in the grasslands one day, Huruma came across a very large male with an interesting accent and an intriguing personality. Despite some differences in opinion, especially where Dongo was concerned, they became good friends and eventually mates, having a litter of six strong, rambunctious cubs. When the cubs were born, Dongo left, saying that he felt she was in a good, safe place and didn't really need him anymore. Besides, he figured that he would confuse the cubs if there was a preybeast hanging around that wasn't allowed to be eaten. When the cubs were old enough, the family started making their trek towards the home of Malik's friend Rehama and her family, the Ela'wadiyi Pride.

Though most of the pride is currently living as one clan, a few of the clans are beginning to grow as some of the children lost in the migration find their way home. Tawa'di has stepped up as a temporary leader to help keep things together, and though it is known that he is old, it is unknown how much longer he will live.
Unlike most Elas, Huruma was born into the Kusini, from two former rogues of a fair size. She's no match for her mate, but she's larger than the majority of her new pride-fellows.

'Ruma's feather earring was something she got herself in order to feel more into the pride. She caught the bird herself, though she had to have someone else make the earring for it for her.
