Minatsuki and Asako flew slower than when they headed out towards the town. Still, they arrived just behind Kusanagi and the combatant with silver dragon.
Landing bedies Simurgh, Asako's eyes glinted with fascination, observing the distant relative of her own.
Minatsuki laughed mentally with Asako, who was beginning to fantasize about her own growth spurt.

((Whoaboy, never had Vilya and Tura confused before ^^'. Lamen's right, its Vilya. ))
Vilya stopped the moment she saw the exhaustion in Sai's face.
"Oh! I'm sorry." She had been so excited she had forgotten the strain the battle had put on everyone. She slowed to a walk, falling into step beside her friend. Tura prowled silently just behind them, shaking her feathered head.
"Guess I'm a tad too excited." She smiled a little, feeling ashamed of her thoughtlessness.
She lead the way out to the top of the main stairway leading into the great hall. Repressing the urge to slide down the banister she went down the steps calmly, waiting for Sai at the bottom.
Through the massive main doorway she could see out into the courtyard and marveled at how quickly everything had been set up.
There were tables, elaborately decorated and piled high with more foods than Vilya had ever seen, musicians had just taken their place on a raised platform around the fountain and began to play merrily on instruments of all sorts.
The sage's five dragon companions were there as well, and hardly took up a fraction of the space. This was just as well for past the iron gate Vilya could see more dragons sailing gracefully towards the castle.
"Wild dragons come to enjoy my festival too."
Vilya jumped and spun around to see Brantalis standing just behind her.
The old sage chuckled, "Age doesn't limit stealth as much as people think. Now," He put his hands together and scanned the courtyard for the newcomers he had heard about.
"Perhaps you two would come and help me greet our new guests hmm?"
He motioned for Sai and Vilya to follow him.

((...Ya mean Mythee. xDD It's mixing names up day! 8DD And didja see the hoomungous blizzard outside? It's howling like mad, and I love it. heart I wish winter would never end. >w<;; *is suddenly murdered by I-wish-winter-didn't-exist mom xD*))
Simurgh noticed Asako, who looked like a miniature version of herself... on fire. Trying to suppress that thought, the colossal bird started up a conversation. She settled on the ground, preferring not to stand after such an exerting day, who would probably become even more exerting as Lamen dined with the dark spirit.

((You live somewhere where it snows? I live in Florida, and the worst part is that I don't even live by the beach, instead I live in the suburbs from hell. evil ))
Umbra followed Simurgh and landed next to her. "Do you need to help down?" Aiva asked Lamen after she hoped off of Umbra's back. She had noticed that Lamen was frail, so she didn't want to be rude.

((Yeah, sorry about the mix up, I meant Vilya.))
"It's no problem." Sai said, trying to seem complacent while following after her. "Once I get some food in me I'll be good as new."
Sai walked down the stairs after her and was also surprised when Brantalis appeared as if from thin air. Sai made his way down and came to Vilya again, who had run ahead, then the two of them followed after the Sage.
Sai sent a feeling of mild shock through their link, not sure whether to be shocked at this response, or if Stratus was making a joke and to be shocked at that.
((btw Mythee, since you've brought this to my attention I guess I should touch up the subject of spirits as they relate to this RP. There are two types of spirits. There are spirits like Umbra, they are living spirits. They have a body, a soul, and mortal weaknesses such as fatigue, hunger, and death. Then there are the other kind of spirits. They possess a soul, though not one that is capable of being bound, but do not have a body, nor do they suffer from mortal weaknesses. They can interact with the rest of the living world to a certain extent, almost always only through the use of magic though. Just thought I'd clear that up for my own peace of mind... I also live where it snows. It's been snowing all day, though not as much as a blizzard... And yeah, maybe a good poking would do those two some good. Though I know creed_master is swamped with schoolwork, so he has a valid excuse at least.))

Asako's flames danced happily as she examined Simurgh. Amused at Asako's fascination, Minatsuki jumped down from Asako, giving her more freedom to interact with the gigantic bird; truthfully, she was also very interested in Simurgh.
Though the question could have been taken offensively, Asako's naive nature shot out the question bluntly. In all, Asako was just curious how long she would have to wait till she could grow that big; she was still a rather young for an immortal being.
It was Asako's first time seeing species that were remotely close to her own, and she could not help but bombard Simurgh with loads of questions that she always kept to herself.
((Woohoo! It snowed here on Friday! Sadly the classes were not cancelled and I had to walk in snow to go to them... gonk Thank god it's my spring break now.))

(( Sorry =_=, my new classes and stuff have been taking awhile to get use to. ))
Kin tiredly opened his eyes, the golden glow illuminated from the darkness of the ally way. Glancing out into the streets from the ally, Kin could see endless waves of people passing by in both directions. The noise around him was loud and irritating to Kin's ears. Kin growled in a grunting like fashion and got to his feet with a few slow stumbling steps afterwards.
Vix asked as he dug out from the ally soil to reveal himself. Kin didn't answer, he just merely grunted louder as if he was clearing his throat. "I haven’t killed anyone in a long time now, I'm starting to go through withdrawal from the sensation..." Kin complained as he made his first steps into the brightly lit streets of the festival with his cat-like eyes slightly dilating.

((SORREEEEEEEEEE D : )) Lamen shook her head and smiled, climbing down herself. Aiva was kinder than she had first thought. "You are quite observant, but I am fine for something like this: as you can see, my mount provides ample training for escalating up and down creatures. However, thank you for your consideration."
She spotted Brantalis and pointed him out to Aiva. "Did you say you wanted to meet the Dragon Sage, Aiva?" She inquired, hopeful to have a discussion with them both about the nature of shades. Most interesting would be to converse with Umbra himself, but she had yet to judge if Aiva found direct speech with her bond to be unnerving or not.
The mage walked towards Simurgh and patted her with one hand, assuring her that she had had a safe trip.
Simurgh ignored Umbra as he settled besides her, deciding not to pay him any more attention than necessary. However, she did nod at Lamen before turning back to Asako to answer her questions.
Simurgh seemed thoughtful for a moment, and then added as a joke: She then closed her eyes and continued: Speaking to Asako of these secret things was not very difficult- they did bear a striking resemblance, after all. But as she had said herself, they possessed different abilities.

Brantalis made his way into the center of the festivities, receiving many bows and words of greeting from the villagers who were enjoying themselves throughout the courtyard.
Suddenly he spotted Lamen and carefully made his way over to her, Vilya in tow behind him and Tura following like a shadow after her.
"Ah so this is one of my new combatant guests." He said pleasantly, offering his hand to Aiva.
"Wonderful to meet you young lady, as you may already have heard, I am Brantalis, the dragon sage."
Out of the corner of his eye Brantalis caught sight of what he thought at first to be a large black dragon, but on closer inspection realized Umbra for what he truly was.
"And quite an unusual companion." He nodded to the Shade, his expression betraying little to anyone but perhaps a hint of mild approval?
Vilya waited for the gryphon to slide carefully through the thickening crowds, being the size of a horse had its disadvantages. Brantalis had already introduced himself it seemed to the new combatant. A rather young-looking girl with unusual attire.
Vilya questioned her own companion.
Vilya stood patiently beside the sage and waited to introduce herself, meanwhile she let her eyes drift around the other combatants and their companions. She marked that Simurgh seemed somewhat ill at ease with the Shade nearby.
Tura herself seemed quite indifferent to what Umbra was.
earn his wrath. No companion, I should think there is no need.>

Sai followed only a few steps behind and to the side of Vilya, he was becoming quite fond of her company. He saw that Lamen, the mage they had met earlier, had returned, as had Minatsuki. There was another mage with them now though as well. She was dressed in all black and white with ruffles at her sleeves and her headband. Her clothes looked better than any festival clothes Sai had ever seen, and different from as well though not in a bad way. As unique as he apparel was her bonded was just as, if not more so. At the moment it appeared to be a large black dragon, though Sai was able to recognize it for what it really was, a shade. He had heard of such creatures from his master, as he had heard of most creatures that his master had seen himself, but had never before seen one himself. He was intrigued, his master had spoken of much prejudice when it came to bonds of a seemingly darker nature though he had said to disregard these prejudices as they were not to be applied just because of appearances and assumptions. Sai said, referring to the shade.
Stratus said from where he still rested underneath of his tree.
((Has Chaos managed to get the situation with his account figured out? Or is there any progress at all?))
