By now Kane's bodily state had made it imperative for him to rely entirely on Nadeshiko, and the unfamiliar woman up the shore for support - well, Kane could only tell that it was a woman because of her voice - his vision was a bit blurry due to hunger and general weakness. The girl's demeanour and behaviour told him that she wasn't much threat, and was in fact being helpful. Kane's heart twitched feebly in a positive way. Could Shimagakure still harbour able-bodied residents, was this part of the rebuilding effort? it was with effort that Kane focused on what the girl was saying, as he felt his senses alternate, just slightly.
"Nadeshiko-san, hm?" he said, shaking his head in an effort to clear it. He gave Nadeshiko a tired yet indubitably dazzling smile, trademark of the Yamanaka clan. Of course the smile was immediately wiped upon hearing of the contamination of the water supplies. "Not safe?" Kane asked a bit stupidly. "What do you mean?" He was beginning to have a feeling of just what had been done to Shimagakure's water supply, but he was having trouble believing it. That was a senselessly brutal and cruel action that any fighting force should be ashamed of doing, as it involved people who had nothing to do with conflict - the civilians.
"I don't know if I can walk," Kane answered Nadeshiko's question, watching as she ran back and forth to gather.. pieces of cloth? "Let me try." With shaky arms, he propped himself up, first with his arms, and then with his dao. Kane's next priority was now to walk. He wanted to see what sort of woman was across the shoreline.

Seeing the small girl working to keep herself warm gave her confidence that she was going to be okay. As she finished up with her small warm up and turned to Misaki, she shot up into a standing position and grabbed the bundle of cloth that the other girl had brought her. With a wide smile Misaki grabbed the slightly torn dress and brought it over to the girl, "Here sweetie... this will help keep you warm." she said in a soothing tone as she brought the dress over the girl's head to help cover the rest of the girl's body. Once the dress was on the girl, she draped the large sheet around her, cloak style, to help shield her small, fragile body from the wind and then wrapped and arm around her shoulders to keep her steady. "Can you tell me your name sweetheart? Or what happened to you? Anything would help... Do you know that man maybe?" she asked as she pointed in the direction of the dazzling man that was working on getting to his feet. His blond hair rivaled the shine of her own. A tiny smirk crossed her face, but she turned back to wait for the girl to speak up. Duties before fun, and this girl was in need of her attention. She would wait and see how the man fared and if he started showing more signs of need, she would be more then happy to help him... There was one blanket left and if the man needed it, she would give it to him. Otherwise this girl could use it as well.

Nadeshiko's heart felt a little more at ease as she saw the girl making efforts to warm herself up. She was too distracted to notice before, but Kane and the girl looked a little similar. Just a little. However dazzling Kane's smile was, its effects were lost on the girl. She did ,however, at least notice that he could barely stand. "Three unidentified shinobi attacked the island, and while they were at it, they also managed to poison much of the water supplies. It is unconfirmed if much of the water is drinkable or not; and no matter how much you need it, the risk of you ending up in a coma is too high." Nadeshiko's voice ended rather regrettably at the end. She really would have liked to help, but she was unwilling to take that gamble. And in Kane's current condition...."You want to get over there? I'll help you." Nadeshiko stood close to him, one hand on his arm, ready to prop him up if need be.

The girl gratefully wrapped herself up in the tattered rags. They were so warm. The light breeze that stung her skin, now had a barrier to stop its attack. She heard Misaki's questions, but she wasn't sure how to answer them. Her name? She did not know. That man? Her olive eyes looked down the shoreline and nothing registered. What happened? "I was... on a boat," the girl started, but suddenly a dizzy spell hit her and her knees became weak. Fatigue had hit. She had stood strongly against it for so long, but it had finally taken her. Falling at the knees, the girl's body began to head to the ground as she fell into darkness and passed out.

The water was cold as the ninth circle of hell. The wind of the day and the waves had left Seshiro exhausted and a minor shell of his former self. His body couldnt hold itself very well since it had been days he remained in the sea lost holding to a piece of what was once a ship inbound to Shima to bring the already injured teenager. The sun had dried his face and skin and burned it really badly. He couldnt remember what happened to the ship since he had been in the quarters and he even less remembered how he managed to get out of a sinking ship. For a moment Seshiro thought about giving up, letting go of the piece of drift wood and simply let himself fall into the depths. In that exact moments, his legs felt sand under them and in a flash a wave dropped him crashing in what seemed to be a worn down shoreline. A few more waves hit him and swirled hi around in the sand before he came to his senses and dragged himself a bit out of the waters reach. Hi had his face full of sand and all his clothes tattered. He lifted his head slowly trying to open his eyes. Pain was all that greeted him as his eyes where full of sand and hyper sensitive to the light at this moment. "Help.... anyone..." He spoke in vain not knowing whether he would be found or if there where people here at all. There seeemed to be only wreakage around.

Misaki started to scan the beach once more. She wasn't sure how the young man was doing... but the other girl was trying to help so she would just keep a close eye on the two. She heard the girl next to her speak a few words, but became rather distracted as the tides rolled in once more, washing yet another thing up on shore. Looking like nothing more then a pile of rubbish, but when the pile of rubbish started speaking up, Misaki knew it was another person... "Again..." she mumbled and then her attention was drawn to the girl next to her as she collapsed beside her.
"Oh dear..." she mumbled frantically as she bent over the small girl, now laying on the floor. She knew enough about people and medical situations to know that this girl needed some help soon. Misaki once again wrapped the small girl within the confines of her arms, and this time carried her along as she ran over to the new boy that washed up on shore. Cradling the one girl in her arms, she bent over and looked at the boy. He, like the girl in her arms, looked as if he was suffering from an extreme case of exhaustion... "Hello? Are you going to be okay?" she asked urgently, then just as urgently she called over to the other girl and the young man, "I'm going to need some help!" if either could help... it would be great. Three washed up people was going to be hard to handle on her own...

"Thank you," Kane said gratefully as he accepted the help of the rather taciturn young girl. His head was reeling. So it had really happened. Nadeshiko's blunt explanation played again and again in his head as he struggled to move himself forward, to reach the chuunin and the girl. If Kane's vision hadn't been so blurry, and if his head hadn't been swimming, he would have recognised the girl in a heartbeat, but as it stood, he didn't. Slinging one arm around Nadeshiko's shoulders and holding his dao as a crutch in his other hand to prop himself up, he made his way to the other group. Of course it wasn't helped by the fact that they were moving too.
"Oh my gosh..." Kane was still shocked over what had happened. "I can't believe that actually happened..."

She tried very, very hard to keep herself standing up straight, but Kane was a good deal heavier than her, and though Nadeshiko was a decent crutch, the small girl was quite certain that she had put one foot forward to steady herself. Hmm....she would have to work on that later. The two of them slowly moved towards Misaki and the other girl, Nadeshiko carefully supporting Kane's weight. And then, oh joy, yet another ragged heap had drifted on shore. She bit her lip. Three injured, and not lightly. Since Nadeshiko was quite sure that no one in the immediate vicinity was a medical expert, there was little chance that she and Misaki alone could handle all three of these people. She told the chuunin her thoughts exactly. " I can get more help from the village. I'm not very much use here. Can you handle them for a short while by yourself?" There were brief gaps in her speech; Nadeshiko was a little short of breath from almost having to drag the semi-unconscious Kane over to Misaki.

With Nadeshiko's help, Kane was able to drag himself across to where Misaki, Hanabira and now Seshiro were. "Did I mention that Nadeshiko is a very pretty name?" he mumbled to her a bit deliriously as he struggled. His brain processes were all focused on his physical state at the moment leaving his mental control and tact a little less than desired. Of course he didn't seem like a lunatic even then, he delivered that line with nothing but his best smile - not that it had worked just now on Nadeshiko of course.
"Hello," Kane said weakly to Misaki, not wanting to be rude. Then he looked at the heap on the sand and paled. Then he looked at the girl in Misaki's arms, and if possible turned even whiter. Kane felt cold and clammy inside, before his heart came back to life, beating with a vengeance. Seshiro, Nadeshiko and Misaki were forgotten as he placed his arms on Hanabira's in a brotherly display of comfort and concern. "Hana-chan!" he said urgently. "I can't believe it! Thank goodness! Are you all right?"

Nadeshiko twitched when Kane said her name was pretty. Not out of embarassment or pride, but out of something closer to indignity. The nadeshiko flower for which she was named for was small and weak, which to her, was like a pun made on her by her parents. But she did recognize that Kane was attempting to deliver a compliment, and so harboured no negative feelings. Upon seeing the young man suddenly recover his senses in the prescence of the girl -Hana-chan?-, Nadeshiko decided that she should leave. "Misaki-san, if you have no special requests to make of me, then I'll take my leave." And with that, Nadeshiko left at full-speed towards the village.

Seshiro opened his eyes at the sound of voices and then noticed a girl leaning over him trying to pull him. His body had remained to much inmersed in the water and he felt like jelly. He barely could move his muscled due to the long exposure to water. " Help... I need some water..." Right now all he could think of was a drink his lips where all cracked and his face was red because of the sun. Being in salted water had just sped his process of dehydration. He tried to look arond as he saw the girl spoke to more people but his vision wasnt very adjusted yet and nothing was discernible from where he was on the floor. "Where aim i" Seshiro had no idea where the ship holding him was directed so he had less of an idea where he might have ended up in.

With a small nod to the girl now running off to the village, Misaki sighed a bit. Three washed up people and she needed to get them somewhere safe... "You seem to be living..." She mumbled to the young man as he greeted her. "Don't pass out on me... I may need your help." she mentioned as she watched him acting so warmly to the girl that was passed out in her arms. Hana... We'll go with that. "First of all, my name is Misaki, if you can keep yourself breathing steadily enough, you should be able to stay conscious." All her girly thoughts that would have come to mind were put on the back burner and forgotten. These two younger kids needed to get to the clinic.
She then looked to the boy on the ground and smiled at him. "I can get you water.. but we need to get you to the clinic first... the safest water on all of Shimagakure can be found there." Now how to get them there was going to be the challenge. Looking from the boy layin in the sand, to the man standing in front of her, then to the girl in her arms. "I hate to ask you but can you assist me and help this boy to the clinic?" she asked with one of her best smiles. These kids needed to be rehydrated, so did the young man, who seemed to be not much older then herself. "You can follow me, it's not too far from here. We can get all of you fixed up in a jiffy!" she said with a small giggle to brighten up the mood as she started walking with the girl in her ams, looking back occassionally to make sure the others were following.

Hanabira's body was too weak and limp to make even the slightest movement to let him know that she was ok. His questions and voice fell on deaf ears as Hanabira continued to remain in a deep sleep. Hana was the name that Kane called out, but would be a new name she'd hear upon waking, when she did. For now, the girl's body remained limp in its unconscious state, being dragged and flopped around like a sack doll by the will of those around her.

Kanami kept a steady pace towards the shore. She was certain that Misaki had control of the situation which is why the girl didn’t make a mad dash. Her brain wondered who could have washed up. It may have probably been just some drunken sailors who fell off their boat. There was always a few of those. Well it was not common either, but out of the uncommon that was the most common. The pop star in the making stopped her thought process there. Her head was beginning to confuse herself. She would just see who it was.
Her feet sliding through the sand to a halt, Kanami’s eyes opened wide at the site before her. The first sight she saw was an Orochi. The girl almost screamed out ‘Shisei’, but held back as her eyes began to take in more of the person. There were resemblances, but it was not the arrogant snake she new. This one was new. His dreads were black, he was taller, buffer. Looked to be around the same age as Kanami and Sukotto. Even though the vixen heard of the Orochi clan and that they were members still around she had never seen one aside from Shisei. The tiny snake was her first encounter with an Orochi. Still Kanami felt a little stupid just assuming that Shisei was the only one. “Hm… well the way how he speaks I’d just assume he was the last one…” the girl thought moving closer. While this was a startling discovery already the princess was moving towards the other member that floated ashore. The blonde hair, face and eyes were unmistakable. It was Kane.
Kanami thought he was a victim with Aya and their group during the Black Spring. Yet now he was alive and well. The Byakugan heir was swelled with emotions in her chest. She almost wanted to cry, but held back on those possible tears. As she approached the teen felt she had to be herself. So Kanami did what her bold and weird personality would usually do. “Jeez. You leave without even telling me good bye to play with Aya-chan overseas. Then you both disappear. Now I found you out here with Misaki-chan. Yamanaka Kane you just love to make a girl worried and confused don’t you.” she said in a cheerful, but slightly scolding tone. Her painted finger waved in front of her nose in disapproving way, before pointing it to Kane. Her face then turned serious. The smile on her perky lips became a line. “ Come on let’s get the three of you to clinic.” the kunoichi stated extending her hand out to Kane.
It was awkward trying to hold Kane who was holding Hanabira, but Kanami could do it. She had to be of some use. “Hey Misaki can you get that other guy over there? I didn’t think there were any other Orochi. I wonder who he is.” the diva said aloud to whoever wanted to answer the question. It could always be answered later. The major concern was to get them to the clinic.
A Helping Hand Seshiro, Kane and Hanabira. That’s too much for one person to carry three people back to the clinic. Luckily the kunoichi extraordinaire are on the job.
