But he'll admit the battle has his blood up a bit and he's less cautious than he should be. Not enough to get himself hit this time around, but enough that his strike fails spectacularly and there's a mocking wag of giant tentacles to prove it. "Egotistical cephalopod." He muttered, flattening his ears. "I'll get you next time..."

Irridian spins and surges forward and attempts to strike again, though this time he overshoots. Soaring over the Kraken's head and landing in the clear water beyond it, he flicks his tail to swim away from the creature and shakes his head to try and jar himself back into focus. "Darn it... Another miss."

RP response: Perhaps offended by its food having the audacity to fight back, the Kraken flung Oannes far away. Spinning in the water, he struggled to reorient himself and rejoin the resistance. As poor a fighter as he was, he still wished to do what he could for the cause.

RP response: The longer this battle raged on, the more tired he became, and the more tired he became, well... The more he made a fool of himself. If the Kraken could laugh, it was doing so. Oannes glowered at the repulsive beast as yet another attack was a swing... and a miss.

RP response: Seems he was not the only one growing weary as the fight raged on. Letting out a bellow of outrage, Oannes charged the Kraken as he witnessed, horrified, another villager being consumed. Was this vile thing insatiable? Was not one innocent life enough? In his mind, it was one life too many.

Also, as I am not going to be around to close the game tonight, please just note that the cut-off is 11:59 PM EDT!
In the meantime, the next person a 15 or higher may help this lovely koi to escape the Kraken!
If you successfully roll a 15+, you will do 5 hit points of damage to the Kraken, who waves its tentacles angrily at you. If you fail, you will take 5 points of damage. Please note that this is an optional RP encounter! Only someone eligible to win a familiar will receive this prize.
