RP response: Yurei catches the eye of another seathi, no bigger then his already diminutive size. The white of her hide is a stark contrast in the darkness of the deep, making her glow as she swam to and fro, avoiding the attacking tentacles with a surprising deftness. She catches her eye and nods, silently communicating her intent.

Yurei waves a hoof over to agree. They see one long arm reach out to grab a villager and as a team, they charge, throwing their entire weight against the long tentacle with enough strength to make it drop the villager. Yurei watches them swim away into the distance, to safety, and he manages to tired smile in thanks to the stranger.

RP response: Yurei backfins quickly as it dodges another attacked, eyes sharp as it tried to find another means of attack. The crowd of fighters was growing larger by the minute, villagers and newcomers alike all joining to join the fray. Yurei spies an opening between two large mers who were acting as a flashing distraction and he swims toward that at full force, timing his movement to slide under them to try and land a solid hit to one large squishy eye that seemed endless. The kraken notices Yurei coming, but between the chaos of the battle, it is helpless to try and stop him. Yurei slams a shoulder into the large eye, making sure to scrape on sharp hoof into the soft flesh and then disappears back into the chaos.

It seems to realize what you have in mind, but is not quite quick enough to stop you from getting one good kick/slap in. It takes 10 damage.

RP response: Yurei can feel his energy lacking, small cuts and bruises littering his body from his relentless attack. He thinks of his brother, still lost and separated by the deep, and anger boils in his blood. This was the reason he was separated from his brother, the other half of his soul, and he would not allow it to continue. The gears himself up for another attack, an angry scream roaring through the water as he attacked again.

With all your might, you lay into the Kraken, determined to fell the terrible beast! Surprised by your relentless attack, it moves back, and right into the path of another's attacks. It takes 30 damage.

RP response: Yurei swims out of reach, into the safety of the calm water and just watches. A few other are nearby, each taking the opportunity to catch their breaths or wrap their wounds.

RP response: Irridian had heard stories, of course, and even spun a few of his own. But this was bigger than anything the tales may have told. Bigger and more dangerous. Even so, he was determined to do something to help his fellows. The beast could not be allowed to roam unchecked.

RP response: Yurei charges at full speed into the Kraken, but his fatigue is becoming more of a hindrance than it was before. He knows he's going to miss the tentacle, sees it move out of the way, but is unable to stop himself in time. He slams into the cliff edge, hard, and the sting of pain blinds him for a few seconds.

RP response: Of course, he wasn't particularly skilled at fighting, so the first strike was something of a failure. Not surprising, he was more accustomed to trading and tale-telling than any sort of fight. But he couldn't just sit by idly!

RP response: Yurei tries to throw off the pain and exhaustion, ignoring the heavy scraps that dotted his entire side. He refuses to give up though, only giving him a few seconds to breathe before he swims angrily back at the monster. He almost manages to land another hit, but sees the great maw of the Kraken start to close on him. He manages to tumbled to the side just in time to avoid being eaten.

RP response: The second hit was lucky, true and somewhat sufficient. It did damage and gave Irridian courage, making him dart out of reach for a moment before surging in for another strike. Of course, confidence appeared to his bane, for the Kraken suddenly captured him in its hold!

RP response: Yurei swims back into the distance, to safety. The last encounter had shaken him and he had seen his death miss him by only a few feet. His entire body was shaking with exhaustion, and while he wanted to keep on the attack, he knew he was getting sloppy. With a weary sigh, he starts to swim away. He'll take a nap, dress his wounds, and rejoin the fight once he was rested.

RP response: Released and sent spinning away by the bat of another tentacle, Irridian spun and attempted to right himself. Dizzy from the hit he readjusted, evaluating and swimming in again to try for another hit.

RP response: Dodging a wave of tentacles with a dive, Irridian swam upward toward the massive beast. Spying what might be a natural weak point or may have been the strike of another, the pale stallion darted forward and gleefully landed another hit.

RP response: Best of intentions though he had, Irridian was able to notice that he had little impact on the great creature. It was wily and clever and all matter of swift, dodging and evading each time he attempted to strike. Darting out of reach he attempted to re-evaluate, pondering if it was worth trying for another hit or just surrendering the field for the day.
